I asked my mom and dad, who were both singers and my dad was an accoustic guitarist, and they are okay with the idea. My mom is going to buy me a cheap electric guitar first, and if I get better at it, then she'll buy me a gibson guitar. If I become really good at the electric guitar and perform at music competition for my schoolwith a band I might form, will my crush become interested in me or will she at least admire my skills? Most likely our band would play songs like cowboys from hell, cemetery gates, I'm broken, which are all by Pantera. So, will my crush become intersted in me if I become a good guiarist who can do amazing electric guitar solos |

Today I learned 2 of my friends wet having birthday partied this weekend. Both were bringing 4 girls home with them. I wasn't invited to either. Everyone else I know has someone hanging out with them this weekend. No one invited me. The last person's house I went to was my friend Haley's 1 year and 2 months ago. The last birthday I went to (or was invited to) was 3 years ago. Haley moved away. I never see her anymore. I have two real friends now. One is a guy in my grade (I'm a girl) but my parents won't let us hang ojt outside of school. The other is my friend Emily who goes to another school and is one year older. I have other "friends" but they seem really indifferent to me. They always talk to each other. They always leave me out. I'm not weird or disgusting in any way. I was kind of annoyed because this girl isn't really that cute and I think I'm prettier..and more importantly it just seemed like bad timing bc i've been so insecure lately. He's pretty much my only friend so I try not to push him away. But he's a ******* pervert. I'm 16 and in highschool. Ever since the 7th grade, he's always made excuses to touch my breasts and when I tell him NO and push him away, he laughs. In the 7th and 8th grade he would always "fall" and then catch himself on my breasts. Or he would "accidentally" elbow my breasts. When he would elbow them, he would push into them and keep his elbow there for a long time until I pushed him away. Now, he just full on grabs them without holding back and without secret. I have told him so many times not to touch me EVER but he keeps doing it every once in a while. He's in my group of friends, sits by me in one of my classes, I feel like I can't get away from him. So then my friend invites her over to our lunch table. It was really awkward because this girl never talks and just sits there staring at us the whole time. I saw the page and thought it was cool, so I followed that page. It turns out that the person doing the page was my friends cousin. Let's just say the friends name was Anna. That's all I followed. Then she's texting me, and telling me that I'm "taking" her followers. She say's I'm following two other friends of hers. I was like, well they went to our school and every one knows them. Besides I didn't go through your followers. She liked one of my pictures (This is when my account wasn't private) Then she get's all mad saying "STOP STEALING MY FOLLOWERS" Like, I only followed one person. We planned for him to come over to my place so I can experience what being drunk is like. Im 20, he's 24. We are just friends and there was no romance between us last night. I don't have romantic feelings for him, but after last night, I think he might. This is what happened: I threw up twice, and then I got a headache and felt sleepy. He took care of me because it was my first time with alcohol. He put a wastebasket by my bed in case I dont make it to the bathroom on time to puke. He filled up a water bottle for me to drink before going to bed. And then he helped me get to bed. He was about to leave and was saying goodbye. So he gave me a hug while I was lying in my bed. Then, instead of getting off of me and leaving, he stayed on top of me (not head to toe, but just partially) and started to massage my head and neck. He was touching my arm, my neck and my head and then to my surprise he kissed me on the forehead twice! What does this mean? Is he just being a good responsible caretaker or is he into me? This is a question for any/everybody who might come to realize the same. Do you try to build them up, and show them what they're doing wrong so that they can succeed with you? Do you venture out and get new friends, then when you become successful try to bring your old friends into your success so that they can hopefully find success of of your success? Or do you completely drop those negative people around you altogether? |

I'm on the non-selling team (dealing with put out merchandising, updating visuals, etc.) I just started there a few months ago so I don't have a lot of friends. Some people seem nice though. I have one close friend who is the same age as me who I hang out with outside of work and one close friend that's a lot older but we only talk at work. I'd like to make more friends at work but some people just don't seem very friendly. Anyway, there's a selling manager that I talk to sometimes that seems nice. (He's also very cute which is a plus.) We are probably around the same age. Would it be okay to see if he would like to hang out sometime? Alone or with my other friend. Either is fine with me. I'm just trying to get to know people and have friends to grab drinks with and hang out with outside of work. He's not MY manager or anything and at my old store I was a team lead and use to hang out with selling managers and sales associates outside of work all the time, it wasn't ever a big deal. |

I can't stand to see that friend B is being bullied for what friend A did! I told Friend A to tell the truth and she said no, and that i was making her feel bad. i'm not making her feel bad, she's feeling guilty for what she did. they said they're going to "lie their way out of it". should i tell that it was actually A and not B? i hate drama and i don't want to get involved. |

At work, I have this feeling that some of my coworkers might hate or resent me for not saying hello/nodding/making conversation whenever I see them because they seem cold toward me sometimes. Sometimes I will say hello or goodbye or good night or something to coworkers and they will not reply or just answer me with the appropriate response like "see ya" or "goodnight" or "hey" but in a way that seems like they don't like me or in a way that seems kind of cold or disinterested. Other coworkers are friendly and some are downright nasty. Some I might consider friendly acquaintances or coworkers that I get along with but I couldn't say any of them are actually my friends and I never socialize with them outside of work. I do start conversations with the friendlier coworkers. However the less friendly (but not openly hostile ones) I occasionally converse with but I rarely start conversations with them. I also don't generally talk to anyone when I am on break unless they initiate the conversation because I need a break from the constant interaction with customers. How should I behave toward coworkers at work if I want to make friends or just be in their good books at work? Also, how should I behave with acquaintances outside of work if I plan on making friends? I don't really have any friends that I still keep in touch with since high school and university except for my family and my brother's friend that I hang out with sometimes. |

And we both play tennis together and we have 4 classes together at school so we hang out a lot. Also, when I have money I always take her and some other friends out. I've probably spent about 60 dollars in just taking her out particularly this year. Most of the time she doesn't even thank me. Well today during tennis I was talking to my other friend. And she told me that Amanda was talking to her last week when I wasn't there and was saying how I'm such a bad friend and how I never feed her and how I never buy anything for her. That is total bs. And she was telling her how she just got money but decided not to take me and her out because I don't "do enough" for her. Lets make this clear, the only thing she's done for me is give me a dollar for a vending machine one time. Like wth. Anyways that was like it for me. I got so pissed after that. My dad could tell I was pissed off when he dropped me and Amanda off at my house. When I got home I told her to watch Netflix or something then I went to my closet and cried and wrote in my journal for two hours. I need you to pick me up at the airport that night if you can. I texted him back to tell me what gate he will becoming out of so I can be right there. My mom said she would go with me so that I didn't have to drive down to the airport alone. I don't know how to react to him coming home. I am excited, but I am also scared to think I might get attached to him again and then him leave to go back to Boston. Whenever he wants to go to a friends house, my mum always assigns ME to walk him. Not anyone else. And she never had anyone walk ME to friends' houses, so I don't get what the big deal is. On that week we became really, really close friends and after the camp we talked for ages after, but it sorted of just drifted away. Last year on the camp after that we barely spoke to each other and ignored each other, and I think partially it was because I didn't have the courage to rekindle our old friendship since she joined a more popular social group in this camp. So from going from closest friends to ignoring each other is pretty sad. Also, my friend that was also on this camp has become close with her recently over the past year, and that makes me feel quite upset and left out.
