Total que estuvimos hablando unos cuantos meses y sus amigos me mandaban indirectas hablandome sobre él. They've gone out together about four times. He does apartment management work for his brother who is a property owner. He only was able to get a place in turn for a place he stays in that unfortunately has no stove or shower - it's a single. My friend likes the guy but she went over there and she noticed it was very, very messy and she helped him clean up while she was there. My friend is much neater and more organized. They do like each other. She is wondering - she likes the guy but should she mention to this guy that he needs to get a shower and stove for her to stay there and have a relationship? |

So basically my whole life I've never had a best friend or a friend that really mattered to me, I've had a couple friends that I've been friends with since kindergarten but now all they do is drugs and alcohol and don't do anything fun and productive in their lives. Last year I was good friends with them and did all the stuff they did but this year I changed and didn't enjoy the stuff they did so I stopped hanging out with them at school but still said what's up and kinda followed them around. I now feel like I have no friends or no one that cares about me. I go to school and just usually stand alone, I have lunch with my old friends but still feel as though I don't fit in the group because I don't want to. I have other people I know in my other classes but no serious friendships as I had with them. I don't know what to do, I don't know how to make friends because I am not good at anything like sports music and such. I don't find anyone at my school interesting because no one treats me like a friend but more of as a joke. Basically to sum that up is I have no friends that I feel happy around and need to change. Another problem i have is low self esteem. I don't feel comfortable and feel as I don't look good enough to talk to the girls I like. I work during a really slow shift so here is not much to do and i always try to stay busy. I always do what I am told and try to take initiative when working there. my boss works and helps me out sometimes in my area because she doesnt want to do jobs she doesnt like (like sweeping and dishes). Sometimes I do mess up because the cash registrar doesn't work or because they change things and dont tell me about it so i have to ask her for help (this has been occuring more recently however). Anyways my friend sometimes stops by to talk with me while i work (which i think is okay? because i still am working! just talking to her too!). last time i worked it was nearing my shift and turned and smiled at my boss and she told me "you cant leave yet" randomly. like i never leave early. so i told her i wasnt but it made me feel awkward. tomorrow i have work again and one of the workers told me my boss left notes for me. so idk what that even means? and i am freaking out! what do i do? do you think i am trouble for some reason? please help! thanks |

My dad tried very hard to keep me in his house and get me to go to a college right by there but I didn't want to. When I tried to leave they both harassed me and told me how wrong and "against God" it all was. They told me that my girlfriend would just break up with me and treat me badly etc. and that God had plans for me down there with them. During the whole relationship with my girlfriend he was trying to break us up and lied about things just to get his way and brought out the worst in us just so he could have evidence that we weren't right for each other, but ever since I moved back down where my girlfriend lives we've been the perfect couple just like we were before my dad got involved. Everything is going perfect...also looking to marry soon. Everything is perfect except that my dad won't let me see my brothers(both under 15). He manipulated it so that I would look bad to the rest of my family. I'm sure he's shown them and/or told them about ANY and ALL things I had done wrong during my 4 year long relationship with my girl, despite me being practically the perfect son (straight A's, no drugs etc. and rarely talked back ever). Now I can't see my brothers, because I can't deal with my dad's harassment and told him not to talk to me anymore. Basically, if he can't talk to me, I can't talk to my brothers. What do I do? |

I would describe myself as very quiet and shy and don't participate much, but I do very well on my H.W. It took me awhile to notice this, but I can't stay in denial any longer. Since the 1st day of class my professor would always stare at me. Mind u I sit in the back of the room. The class is at least 30 students. He would always make eye contact with me and maintain it. I would have to be the one to break it and look away. Eventually it got to the point where I stopped looking at him cause it made me very uncomfortable. For awhile I thought it had stopped as he read the signal it was making me feel strange. it seems he never stopped. I was in private thought about a question he asked the class on the assignment and out of nowhere he calls on me and asks me, " are you ok, such"? He even squinted at me once. The other day we were working in groups and he kept gravitating towards me, and studying my face. I couldn't unsertsand something he wrote down and squinted my eyes and he noticed again and came towards me. He even say right next to me and was sitting very close to the point I couldn't turn to look at him directly. As I was giving my part of the presentation he even looked at me like something inside him lit up In his eyes. What is going on? I'm concerned because he's a married man and I don't find myself very attractive for him to be doing that. There are other girls for him to look at. Also I should mention that I also feel this way too because a different professor in my college made advances towards me. He asked me if I was married or single DURING AN EXAM!!! Of all the people she could of asked for help, she asked my ex husband Bill. She really liked Bill when we were married and he really liked her. I guess that friendship did not stop with our friendly divorce like I thought it would. Bill immediately paid the back mortgage payments and also he paid 1 years mortgage payments in advance. He also used his business contacts to get her a new job. That is totally in character with Bill. As long as I have known him, if he finds out someone needs help, he helps them. Mom went from VERY DEPRESSED to VERY HAPPY in one day. I am not sure how I should feel about this. I and my siblings agree that mom should of asked us first for help but we all admit we could not have helped her like Bill did. We just do not have that kind of money. I told Bill we would somehow repay him. He told me he would not accept any repayment. He said mom was great to us when we were married and this was his repayment to her. Am I off base to think mom should of asked us first before going outside the family for help. Is it possible that it would be too embarrassing for mom to ask her family for help? |

I recently quit smoking after 15 years or so....it was excruciating. Harder than quitting dope. But my father still smokes in the house, and right in front of me. He doesn't seem to get- 1- just how annoying that is, 2- it was so incredibly hard to quit and I still really, really want a fu**ing cigarette, 3- now that I don't smoke, I can smell just how nasty cigarettes smell to non-smokers. The smoke, the ash, the extinguished cigarette butt......it all smells like rotten swamp-***. How do I get him to GO OUTSIDE with his disgusting cancer sticks? I thought of asking the owner of the house to tell him to stop, since we're not even supposed to be smoking in the house anyway....it's a rental, they're going to sell it when we move out, and it's a historic house (almost 200 years old). My friend had told me that she met my aunt and that my aunt is always trying to put me down to her and make me look bad to her. I want to know how I can fix this as It is very unfair. If me and my friend fight she can basically speak behind my back to my aunt because my aunt has done it to her and my aunt seems to have a problem with me, so It's unfair first of all that my friend has been given this power and that 2. My aunt is running me down To my friend. What can I do and what is the best way to handle this? |

But telling my parents was so hard even telling my dad broke my heart. Ima big daddys girl. But in time they got happy. I had my son a month early three days after my birthday. When i brought him home i thought my boyfriend was going to help me . nope i was wrong. I got up every two hours to feed my son burp him change him and back to sleep. (This happened before I knew her) I'm around her everyday & we are super close & always laugh & have fun together. She's been to my homecoming & saw me win Queen, she went to my sweet 16, she always hugs me & tells me how proud she is of me, she says she loves me. she's very supportive of me, we have like a special bond. Like I feel like no one likes me and all my friends are just faking likening me. And I'm sooo self conscious. Like I honestly hate myself. And I'm beyond stressed about the future. And I'm not even excited about my accomplishments anymore. Like I got 2 1st places at my last track meet and I thought I should have done better. What's wrong with me? I have a great life and I know I should be happy. I live in a great house and have a great healthy family and I've never even lost a family member before yet I'm so sad. My track coach had noticed and asked what's wrong. I told him about how I'm really self conscious but that's all. But the thing is he seems to genuinely care about my problems and no one else does and I kinda want to talk to him. But I don't want to bug him with my issues and I'm afraid he'll judge me. And idk how to bring it up or when. And like I can tell I'm really down all the time... I don't smile and laugh like I used to and I don't get excited about doing well in practice or anything. I'm always looking down at my feet and not smiling. I havnt been sleeping much and I feel exhausted even when I do sleep. Is it wrong of me to always be down? Should I just fake being happy and smile and laugh even if it's not real? To be honest sometimes I feel like I act even sadder when I'm around my coach because I want him to notice me and ask if I'm okay... Is that bad!?!? |
