For example, this has been happening for about 9 years, she will always tell me and my family that she quit smoking, and we are all happy for her, and the next day we will catch her smoking again! And that has been happening for almost 10 years!!! And that's just the beginning. She always promises me things, and then when I tell my dad about it, he usually wants to talk to my mom about it, which is reasonable, and then my mom denies that she ever said it!!!! I could go on and on and on about her lying, but I don't want to waste your time. Why does my mom do this?!?!? |

They put up a camera near the pc so theyl know if I touch it. They said theyl send it to the fbl, and call me sick and the devil all the time. They already took all my belongings, so I have nothing to lose.Should I just unscrew it and destroy it? Should i do a software reset? Will give best answer, Help please |

My mom is also depressed because of the loss of her mother and she also has a very painful issue with her back. She will need surgery and she gets angry and stressed by a lot of things. She is crying a lot lately after everything. She and I both have anxiety. Today she was asking my father for help with using her computer and she was blaming him because he forgot the password for a website. (She does this "blaming" thing a lot). Well my dad got really angry and said to her why don't you just ask me nicely! your always so accusatory! My mom was fighting back saying she was just frustrated and she needed help. My dad screamed F*** you. And acted like he was going to throw her computer. My mom said Don't even think about throwing my computer! Then he threatened to punch her. She said oh are you gonna punch me now?!!?! If you punch me! And he responded what are you gonna do. She screamed Then I'm going to leave you!! You can't do that to me!! (This all happened while I was doing my homework in the other room) Then she came out of the room crying and I followed her into another room and hugged her for a really long time. My dad has done this before and I think he does it because my mom doesn't listen. She will get angry and yell at people for little things and she doesn't understand that it hurts us. I wish they had a way to mutually understand each other because I love them both dearly. Please help |

We live nearby and sometimes my aunt asks me to help her with this or that around the house. When I say goodbye I always hug them, but recently her husband (my uncle) always grabs me in the butt. This has happened more than once. Yesterday I went there b/c I forgot a book, and my aunt wasn't in. There were something in his manners that made me deeply uncomfortable; he's even implying that I should lie down b/c I look tired or something like that. I was too afraid I just ran out of the house. He wasn't like this before (he used to be indifferent, and that's actually better). I don't know if I should tell my mom or my older brother. My brother would probably murder him. However, I don't know how to suddenly refuse going there without explaining my reason. Advice? Thanks! |

She commented on the neighbours moving a pile of bricks in the garden and I didn't say anything back because she wasn't asking for my opinion. She then told me it was like talking to herself. I let her know that I hadn't seen the neighbours and that's why I hadn't said anything about it and she gave me a back story on this brick pile. I told her that I didn't look in our neighbours garden. She then went ballistic at me and tried to kick me out the house. I didn't leave and have been in my room for hours too scared to leave. I haven't eaten since two o'clock today and it is almost time for me to sleep. |

I have two sisters but they are grown and married with kids ... I'm 15 about to be 16 in July... My mom is working all the time she only has one day off out of the week.. She makes me clean up the whole house I don't get allowance and when she don't buy me anything to eat she says she's to tired to cook so I have to find something to eat myself .... All she does when she comes home is go upstairs in her room and go to sleep... She won't let me go out with my friends she claims I don't clean go enough .. She never give me money I can't do any sport because she say she can't pay for it but she play lottery 😑 she always be like she can barley pay her bills and for the house because her mortgage is 1,000 dollars .... She is a district manger for dollar general. She does get child support but still doesn't give me money my dad wants to convince her to give me the card when I turn sixteen.... She just never spend time with me all she do is fuss at me about cleaning up I can't even go outside. She even make me clean her room make her bed fold her clothes out them up and clean her bathroom. Sometimes I wish I had a different mother or I lived with my dad... He visits me almost every weekend I always can't wait to leave this house! My question is what should I do :/ |

My dad (who lives in another country) said he would buy me a new one when he came to visit in April. Its April now and he can't come because of some family problems and he doesn't know when he can make it. I don't want to wait too much longer and I really want the iPhone 6 but I want to pay for it myself. My mum already pays most of my siblings' contracts which are over £30 a month and her own contract. I have 7 siblings and I don't want to add to her pressure of paying for mine too. I don't live in a area where there's open babysitting, people don't trust their kids with strangers and we don't speak to each other here. There aren't jobs like Newspaper Rounds or stuff like that and since I'm 15 they won't give me a job and will tell me to come back next year. I have ran out of ideas. Please help me! |

They push me into a wall and hit me and say things such as you're worthless and the worst thing that happened to them. I tried calling people such as the police and my mom lied to the police telling the police that I abuse HER and that she was defending herself that's why I was beat up. They believed her and said if I did it again I would go into jail. I have a best friend who was willing to help me and now that my parents know that she knows my situation, they do everything in their power to keep me away from her including threats. Does any one have any suggestions on what to do? |

We are so close and we should have one in about 4 or 5 months. I planned on taking my cat with me. Now my dad is going to move and not taking me or my cat with him. My two other places I can go to live are my grandparents/moms or my boyfriends house where he still lives with his parents. My cat isn't allowed at either place. I feel so broken and devastated. I'm SO close to getting my own place and now I'm gonna have to say goodbye to my cat forever because she will be inconvenient for a little while. How messed up is that? How can I talk to my family or my boyfriends family about how I feel in a way that they will understand and accept my cat for a few months? What are my other options so that I don't have to lose her forever? |

I'll have a BA in graphic design. I still live at home., I don't do my own taxes, I try to pay for my classes though, I don't know much about society and the way the world works. I'm socially awkward and have self esteem issues. I don't have a girlfriend and don't pay for my own insurance... when talking about moving out after college today my mother gave her usual optimistic view point.... You can't afford it, it's going to cost 1000s of dollars, Obama health insurance is the devil... it's going to cost you this and this and that... you can't even make it if you room with some one.... You have to worry about all these things all at once, insurance, taxes, bills, you'll have to work 2-3 jobs... etc etc. I understand the real world is difficult and you have to think about these things but having it all slammed in my face just for expressing moving out soon felt kind of obnoxious to me. I was told that having just an ordinary appartment would be 800-1250 a month, and even rooming with some one 500 some dollars, etc. I don't want to live with my mother forever obviously. I got her because I never got out and I got into college, and she supported me through it so that I could get a degree Any one else as pathetic or lost as I am? Ihave no idea how to really make it on my own but I also feel like trying to worry about everything that could possibly go wrong and about all my problems at once will make me off myself. Anyone ever rise up out of a situation like mine before and make something of their self? Some one who is totally clueless, basically codepdent finically and doesn't know a thing about taxes and things of that nature? I'm feeling a bit lost right now. I'm going to see the end of this semester soon. I'm doing alright. I'm not a terrible student these days but given my "bright" future... I'm a little "dark" right now. |

I had talked about getting one but didn't want to spend the money. So I just decided that I would just rather use a cord. I have rack effects and thought if I did go wireless it would be a rack mounted system. She bought me.a.floor unit which I would never use. She knows nothing of music gear and although I love the fact that she though of me this way she doean't know what she is buying and just goes by reviews. I told her that as far as music stuff goes that it is always best if she asks me before buying anything. Well now I feel awful cause she went through all the trouble of buying this unit which I will never use. She is going to send it back. I told her that I was sorry and that I didn't want to hurt her feelings and she said her feelings weren't hurt but it was written all over he face. Now I don't know what to do. The unit isn't something I would use and so it would be a waste of money. So how do I make her feel better? I feel so bad. |

I have been in honors classes for years and its not for a lack of an understanding. I just struggle turning things in and I have panic attacks, nervous breakdowns, and depression mainly cause of pressure to do well in school. I am literally destroying myself trying to do school. My parents don't know this and they've basically given up on me. I've lost all my motivation. I'm also a musician and I believe that's my calling. It's my only way to be happy and express my thoughts. I know I will probably never be famous but I don't care about that. I just believe its what I was meant to do and I don't care if I struggle and I know its not maybe the best solution but its what I need to do. And if I graduate high school I'm not going to college by my choice because I'm honestly just happy being a struggling musician working at a fast food place. That to me is good enough and I'd be happy. How do I explain this to my parents? How do I tell them I want to drop out or get a GED? I'm aware they're going to be really mad but I need them to understand its going to make me happy and feel better. |

All I ever see her do (when I'm at home, that is) is dust, mop, and sweep. My dad and I are naturally disorganized people. I am constantly busy with schoolwork, not to mention I have AP exams right now, and studying is taking up all my time. The thing is, because my mom cleans so much, she seems to be extremely cranky all the time. If I use a blanket that belongs in another room, she gets mad. If I sit on a particular sofa, she gets mad. If I put my face on a pillow that isn't in my bed, she gets mad. It's starting to feel like my house isn't home anymore, and I've come to enjoy keeping my room messy because I feel like it's the only room in the house that I can live in to some extent. I am so tired of her constantly yelling at the both of us because we don't maintain her unrealistic expectation of having a house that could be featured in a "Most Beautiful Homes" article. What do I do? How can I convince her that there is so much more to life than keeping a bit of dust off the furniture? |

So I went in got the batteries as I was just about to close the drawer I saw something large and pink so I picked it up. It was a massive Dildo and I put it back and there were some vibrators in there 2. I went downstairs to give her the batteries. A couple of days later she went out so I went into her room to put some washing away and her bed was a mess. The pink dildo in the middle of her bed. (My dad sleeps in the spare room because he wakes up really early to go running) so I quickly put the washing away and there were some of her panties to be put away. So I open her drawer and there was another dildo. I had now found 5 of them. I was wondering if I should ask her about them. Thanks. |

So I stay with him twice a month.Ive recently been having family issues at my mom s with my stepdad. Ive very well been researching what is considered emotional abuse. My mom doesn t see he s terrible but I do When I stand up to him I m in the wrong. It might not make sense put that way and Im sorry.Ive never liked him or my stepmom. She s always been very judgmental and it has effected my self confidence.Ive never liked my dad s house, he s never stepped up to be a father to me. If i were to leave my mom and live with my dad,she d be unhappy.She d also be unhappy if I spoke out my feelings, resulting in having to make stepdad leave.Being stuck here has had a huge toll on my mind. I m pretty confident I have (not very severe) depression, seeing as I have a history of self harm (I recovered for my own sanity). Contstant feelings of empty(if that makes sense). My friends mom offered me to stay with them until I finish school (4 years).Ive gone over there around 3am once when I was having a rough night and just went back to my house after school. Would it be an option to have my mom sign me over to my friends mom? Or should I keep trucking along and just be thankful I don t have it as bad as others and of my friends moms offer to let me over anytime? I feel very desperate and whiney asking and ranting about this. Thank you for your time |
| Question: My mom doesn't support me or act like she loves me? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 08:54 AM PDT I feel like she doesn't love me. She always calls me a burden, she insults me a lot and she said she'd switch me for my deceased grandmother any day. No one in my family believes she's like this. She always tells them behind my back that I attack her out of no where both verbally and physically.. I don't though. I have hit her before but only in self defence when she was hitting me so she pushed me to the ground and stomped on my head and chest. At that point I was crying and screaming so she got her video camera out and claimed that I just had a tantrum because I didn't get something I want. She has traumatised me so much I'm scared to take action. I've never called a help line, every time I go to a councillor, I can't even take a break and go to my friends house because she chases me and causes a scene. I'm not even allowed to go to the shops or catch a bus. Also the other day I came out as lesbian.. She mocks me for it and claims that the Internet provides too many options for teenagers to "choose" what they want to be so they feel special. But I've always been attracted to girls all my life.. But I was told it was wrong so I waited to come out to her. (I've tried everything I can at my age) Please can anyone make suggestions on how I get out of this situation? I'm severely depressed and suicidal.. But she doesn't take it seriously.. And when I want help she won't let me get it.. Please.. And thank you.. |

I do not STILL live with them, I broke out a when I was young, and lived single, and with a woman. ANyhow, bad things happened, and it was either parents, or homeless. So my parents are assholes, and like to get drunk, and yell alot. So many times when they yell at me I say.." Let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll?" Then sometimes, they ***** about me not working, and i say " I used to be a hard worker like you...Then I took an arrow to the knee" And they say things like " What the hell is wrong with you...You need to go to program,, etc, etc" So..my question is,,why they so much jerks?? |

Posted: 25 Apr 2015 08:46 AM PDT My Grandad who has done everything for me, loved me, bought me things, died unnexpectingly two hours after I just got off the phone with him. I am 13 years and a girl. You would expect me to cry watching Marley and Me and sad movies but I just don't! I find it amussing when people do. I know it's sad, i'm just wondering what's wrong with me! When my mom told me that he passed away, I was more in shock then anything. When I was a lone I cried lightly but not heavily like everyone else. Please, what's wrong with me. I really do miss him! I just don't care about much of anything nowadays. I failed a math test, and all I do is day "whatever it'll get better" but sometimes it never does. I'm not depressed either i'm a hppy bubbly person who laughs at eveeverything. I feel really sad though because I feel as if I'm brushing his death off my shoulders like it was nothing. I know it is something!! I miss him so much!! It's something in my brain that like tells me not to worry, but my heart tells me I need to worry, but I just can't. What do I do? I probably sound crazy right now, or don't make any sense but please try and make sense of it. |

I like to just wear a bra and panties around the house because it feels great especially when I lay down on the sofa or something, the feeling of my skin brushing against it is heavenly. I also really love my bod because I work out a shitload and play a lot of sports, plus my boobs are fairly large, so I like checking out my body in mirrors at home and seeing how amazingly hot I am. I also like dancing around in my underwear and listen to music while I clean my room, it makes it go faster. But my mom keeps yelling at me to put on a t-shirt and shorts and I hate the feeling of lounging in that. She recently bought me pajamas even though I'm 16 and tried to make me wear them but I took them off, they feel ******* awful! I'm am only child so it's not like a brother is ogling my body or something. But my mom keeps saying it's not ladylike. How do I get her to f.u.c.k off and let me just wear a bra and panties? This is basically what happens, and no it's not just regular "parent fights" it's pretty damn serious. Sometimes when my mom is drunk, she's really mean to me and my dad. (I'm the only child) My mom when shes drunk spews out all of her selfish hatred against her family, like she says "I'm tired of all of you" "You all never give me a break" Which is complete bull because just yesterday when she was sober, the day was sunny, we sat down at a restaurant, but somehow I knew, something was going to happen later on that day.. and it did. No, I'm not just saying this because of one incident, this has been going on for 3 years and she's only gotten worse, and my dad has only gotten worse. When my dad's angry, he's furious. He's not himself anymore, so what does he do? Oh, he slaps and hits my mom in the arm, in the face, and sometimes he makes my mom strip her clothes to where she only has underwear on and hits her sometimes with a stick in her thighs. But this is the crazy part, my mom, blames ME and takes her ANGER out on ME for my dad hitting her. My dad has once dragged my mom into their bedroom, made her get on the bed and start beating on her. Whenever that happens, I just go into my room with my little chihuahua and put my headphones on. I know I'm starting to hate my dad, I had a dream last night about killing him. I even have video footage (not him beating her) but the soundtrack. This is ridiculous! Help! |

They told me that they want to host a person,and asked me to help them.I don't understand why they didn't asked their oldest child,yet they asked their middle child...So how to become a host family for a foreigner. I asked my family a foreigner that they will feel okay with.They all said Asian.(but my younger sister) Please answer all their questions. So do they pick which foreigner that will be staying with us,or we will(?).Also do we pick the gender? How many foreigners we could host at one time?How long will they stay? | Question: Serious question...should I commit suicide? Posted: 25 Apr 2015 08:27 AM PDT My dad hasn't been here at all for me during my life. He's present but he's not. It's hard to explain. I'm only a freshman in high school but I feel like I'm just a burden on the world. I made a mistake. Someone might go to jail for statutory rape because of me. Even though I wanted my parents to split up because of how abusive and controlling he is. He's a drunk. He's a cheater. He's leaving because I "disgust him." Not because my mom and him decided that it wouldn't work. He just can't deal with me because he believes I'm a slut. What happened with the older guy wasn't entirely my fault. I wanted to feel loved for once. But I still told him no. I feel like I ruined my family. Everyone's complaining about being depressed. My mom now won't be able to afford our house. And I can't afford to live with myself. I'm literally ruining myself. Looking at myself is painful. I guess that doesn't make sense... I'm just done. I've been depressed for a while. No one cares. No one understands. I'm alone. If I commit suicide it'll be over right? My mom will be able to afford the house for having one less person to provide for. I won't have to worry about people understanding, being there, fixing me. And my parents will get back together. Sorry for how long this is. But when you give me your answer please don't say no because "it's the most logical thing to do." Just imagine you were in my shoes. Imagine how my family would benefit from it. Just think about it.
