When in fact I have never done any drugs and don't drink. My mom claims its a gentic thing but my sisters or younger brother well they don't have it. I am pretty sure its because my parents beat me bad when I was a kid like when I was a kid my mom hit me with a pot in the head. He believed me and was really comforting and then my mom came home who was gone for a while and she found out and believed me at first and all of a sudden today she is saying that I am lying about being raped because I didn't press charges or let my dad go "take care of it" and she said "if it was me I would tell my dad to go get him" like it was so embarrassing it was so hard for me to even tell my dad let alone strangers and talking about it in court.. Now my dad is believing what my mom is saying and I'm so upset about it I just don't know what to do like. All I wanted to do was forget about it now it's making it seem like I was a liar.. Am i really stupid for not saying anything ? |

Now the issue with this is that when my brother turned 18 (hes 20 now ) he had lots mpre freedom than me. He had this freedom since he was 17. I dont party or do anything he does. Ive made bad choices before but not as many as he did. So for my birthday i was excoted because i thought that i wouldnt have to deal with as many rules as before but sadly i was wrong. My brother goes out without saying a word but i cant even go out to my car without them asking me where im going. my brother is dating a girl my age and she even gets to sleepover at my house with my brother but i cant even put my head on my boyfriends shoulder without them saying its inappropriate. That i always have to be within eyesight when with my boyfriend but my brother can be in the basement in private. I just want as much freedom as my brother. I want to leave without asking, stay over noy only at my boyfriends but sleepovers with my best friends too, i want to have a later curfew like 12 or something, i want them to accept the fact that im not 7 or 12 anymore . I dont even go to parties, havent drank, no drugs, ive been home when they tell me to, havent fought back about it. So is there anything i can do to tell my dad that i just want to be treated as much as my brother is freedom? They hate him because he didnt finish high school and hes made so many mistakes its not even funny. But im 2 months away from graduating , hate parties, havent gotten in trouble with the law, NOTHING. And even if i do get in trouble now it would be my responsibility as an adult to deal with the consequences and u know this but why am i the one being treated like I've been the bad one? I don't like it. Im even willing to tell them where i am at all times if i dont have to ask to go out! What do i do? I just want to talk to them and have them understand :(. I dont find it fair. Dad: I'm taking away your phone for good and cancelling your phone service! I was always a daddy's girl. Even after the divorce my dad still wanted to see me and my brothers. A year after the divorce my mom started seeing someone els (Cop) Haha I thought it was cool. He is a really nice guy and I like how he treats my mom. After two years he treated us like we were his kids and pretty much help us a lot with school, homework, ect. That's when I was getting older and more mature. Realizing that my dad had never treated my mom right and never done nice things for us. My mom called my dad saying she had to put child support on him for my youngest sister (Same dad but different mom. My mom takes care of her now). They argued and argued then she hung up. I was checking my Facebook on her computer in her room. She told me to not pick it up if it was my dad. She was in the living room watching tv. Thats when the phone rang. I didn't bother picking up and BOOM the voice machine went on and heard my dad say "**** you whore, you aren't getting a ******* dime from me, **** you and your kids!" :( It really pissed me off and hurt a lot. After two weeks he called and my step dad picked up and he hung up on him saying "Don't worry honey, I heard what he said to you guys. You guys don't need a man like that in your lives. The call is on you. Maybe we can all go eat at Red Lobsters." I kind of felt better after our step dad gave me a talk, but i'm still mad and hurt about what my dad said. I can't get over it. |

So he left. And when he came back we started to eat and watch tv since we always work and hardly get to. I secretly went against their wishes and brought a prostitute into their home. Immediately afterwards I felt awful and I prayed and asked for forgiveness. I started avoiding them because of the guilt and shame I felt and they noticed something was up. They asked me about what happened and I regrettable ended up lying because I wasn't ready to confess. How should I do this? I have no idea what will happen and how this will change things but the guilt is haunting me. I sleep on the couch so my parents wake me up every morning by making as much noise as possible.About 6:45 a.m. I told my parents if they could quiet down because I was trying to sleep. My dad responded by saying that since I don't go to school or have a job, it doesn't matter how much noise they make. I currently attend two community colleges in two different districts.I have one online course, one hybrid class and two classes on campus. since I only go to campus 2-3 times a week, 3 hours per class, they honestly think I'm lying about school. I quit my job last December to focus on school full time and be able to raise my GPA.This is the first time that I have been jobless since I first started working at the age of 16.I am now 22 years old turning 23 in a couple months.I always clean the house, have been paying for my college classes and books on my own and I haven't been dependent on them since I got my first job. Despite all this, my parents always see me as the lazy daughter and the delinquent. They give me such a hard time at home, even though I'm the only one that ever does anything around the house. My siblings have never even picked up a broom to sweep the living room! Everything I own, I've bought on my own. They have bought my older sister 2 cars and my younger sister 2 as well. And they are giving my younger brother the new Jeep once he turns 18. What should I do? I'm sick of their BS. |

I have three boys; two of which are young adults and graduated from HS and in college and one who is 11. Obviously, I don't have to run around with my two older sons any longer, but I attend basketball games, etc and take my younger son to his practices for same. His father is useless. My fiancé has an 8 year old son. His son's mother lives 1 mile away. His son is involved in two bball teams and a flag football team at the same time. Too much. Mom doesn't take him to any practices or games. EVER. Every day, and I mean every day my fiancé is gone until 8:00 p.m. at some practice -weekends he is gone from morning until evening with practices/games. I don't think it is fair that he does it all and she does nothing. She lives right there. Selfishly, he is never home, I eat dinner alone, and spend weekend days alone (my son is at his dad's), because he is never around. NOW, HE wants him to join a traveling team when the other season ends for one of his bball teams. I realize it is his son, I do, but he also has a fiancé now, and I think it is a bit much at this point with an eight year old. Every day I get a text "sorry, not going to be home until 8:00 or 9:00, or sorry, have a coaches meeting until 9:30 p.m" wtf? I know your children come first, but don't you have to share some of your time? I see him 1/2 hr a day during the week, before I go to bed. I know he likes doing it, but I just don't think it is fair at this point. |

Since we were never married and there is no legal custody order, I've been told that I can leave FL without his consent. However, I've also been told that since there is a child support order (that he's never paid on) and he is listed on the birth certificate, I DO have to have consent and go through the courts for approval to leave. |

I sympathized w/ his plea b/c: 1) he said he has just been diagnosed w/ cancer; 2) he claims he's been to rehab & sober (some ppl here think those are lies, & now I'm really not sure). However, when he first contacted me (he got my number from a relative), I believed him, and agreed to see him over lunch and took our 1-y/o baby. He was indeed nice and wanted to see our 3 y/o as well, but I have a real bad conscience taking our younger son w/o telling my husband that now I won't consider taking our elder son to meet him. The problem is he's still contacting me (although nicely), and also to ask me to be mediator between him and my husband. It's true that now that I think of it, it wasn't nice of him to ask me to keep this secret from my husband; his reason is b/c he knows my husband won't allow our sons to be near him. He was very abusive towards my husband when he was still a minor, to the point that my husband was treated in hospital once when he was almost 18, just before he moved out (my husband was granted permanent restraining order against his dad 10 years ago). My dad is a doctor who treated my husband then and he agrees that our sons don't need to know their other granddad. How should I handle this? If I tell my husband that his dad has contacted me, I suppose it'd cause problems. Is his dad violating his restraining order by contacting me? If yes, what would happen? If he really has cancer, I don't want him to land in prison. Besides, my husband is always distressed each time his dad is mentioned (so I prefer not to). And how to tell my FIL to cease all contact, and that he won't see our sons ever again? I want to do it nicely b/c although I'm rather skeptical now, I still give him the benefit of the doubt. If he wants to mend fences w/ his son after all these years, maybe he does feel true remorse. Last time he also looks fragile, so I don't want to give him a heart attack by saying "mean" words. Any ideas? Thank you. |

It was an isolated incident, and I'm 20 now and he hasn't hurt me since. My therapist told me that she might have to report it seeing as there is still a child in the home (my little 11 year old sister), however he has never hurt my sister whatsoever. Six months ago,she befriended a new girl at school as she lives in our street...They became thick as thieves..She's a chirpy outgoing girl and excels in gymnastics and cheerleading...Her social networking profile shows that she must have 3 bfs and she might have lost her virginity too.. I started noticing that my daughter is now more open ..She bought lot of new dresses,makeup and started styling herself,but her dresses have become more slutty...Few weeks ago,she went to a party with boys and girls which I suspect had alcohol.. her book reading is now replaced by instagram, snapchat, kik, facebook and she's now constantly indulged in that... I am now 24 years old and everytime I bring up moving out and getting a room/place of my own, they always tell me not to and try to persuade me to stay.. She's not a "cool" type of mom I'd say. Well we recently moved to Colorado from California in December. we've been here for 5 months, and I have to say I never hated a state more. Its not me at all, I don't like it one bit. I'm not happy, I feel alone, I have no friends, I'm depressed, and everyone else is happy but me. In California I was happy, and doing good. I knew everyone and had about two best friends who were my sisters. I miss them and I just want to live somewhere that I like. I know your gonna say suck it up but I can't because I can't take it here anymore. I'm stressed and don't like it. I'm 16 in a half, I turn 17 in October. If my Aunt out in California says I can stay with her then what do I do from there? Because if I ask my mom she will say no not until your 18 and I'm getting bad depression out here... I finally got a girlfriend and want her to come visit me. I said ok I will do it on the condition they buy new tires or my gf a plane ticket but now they are like we ain't buying your girlfriend a plane ticket. I am going to ship my truck because I don't want it damaged or have my warrenty extended. I would be more then willing to do it but I want a plane ticket for my new girlfriend in return because I am paying gas auto loan insurance on my truck. I have to at all costs protect my investment in my truck sense it was so expensive. I pay for everything on it so I call the shots it would be cheaper for them to buy my new gf a plane ticket then rent a u haul wich they will end up doing most likely. |

They are moving to pa and we dont want to move to pa. My parents and siblings will be moving to texas in 2 years. My boyfriend and i have decided we dont want to live in upstate ny, there is absolutely no opportunities here.my aunt lives in nc along with a lot of my family. My grandparents recently passed and left my aunt their trailer. My aunt has offered me to live there and because it is paid off id only be paying $150 a month for the lot. Electric is about $200. How much should we save up before we move? My boyfriend currently has a job at sonic and will be able to transfer when we move.and we dont have much to move. When ever I tell her about things in my life that may be bothering me etc before I can finish my say she speaks over me, makes me upset and mad because she's just so mean about things and if I ever pick out something wrong she says she goes ballistic! So now it's gotten to the point where I keep everything from her which is hard as she's the one person I wish would be there for me when I really need to open up. She always jumps to conclusions before I can even finish a sentence but then says 'oh you can talk to me about anything' and not only that she is a huge gossiper so she will humiliate me by telling everyone anything she thinks I have done wrong. anyone else have this problem with a parent? My friends home is about a month from being finished. Jo got into alcohol and drugs when she was in high school and made several porn movies. Her parents sent her to rehab. She has been out of rehab for 13 months and has been clean and sober since rehab. I met her and I believe she sincerely wants to put that life behind her and start fresh. She is a beautiful girl and will be much sought after by guys. My concern is I have a 17 year old son at home and I work days so I can not be at home all the time to watch him and her. I don't think he knows about her porn movies but what if he sees one of her porn movies and gets ideas? I believe in giving people a second chance but I am worried about what my son may do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

No matter where I move, they always seem to find me and cause havoc in my life. I can't afford to move any time soon or get a new social security number or new name to protect myself. I don't think a restraining order will work cause they will just exploit somebody to do their dirty work for them. They are thugs and criminals (especially my father, older brother and mother). Anyway my dad said I either have to go with them this week or stay with my grandma but I want to stay the weekend alone by myself show I can show them that I'm mature enough plus I want time to be by myself completely by myself, would should I do to convence them to let me stay by myself? I told my mom about this that if I get scared or something happens I can go to my grandmas house, that she can Skype me/ call me when ever she wants, that my aunt or grandma can come check on me at random times. I want to experience what it would be like living by myself in the sense of I can get up,get ready for the day, make my own food. After that wife has called to their parents to come immediately at house and take from here and in response to that following dialog has happened between my wife and her mother • My father in law is shouting me everyday • My Mother in law (MIL) asked her to stay in open area so that they cannot beat and my wife replied if they beat then I will call to police and put in the jail (Actually, my father has not beat and he cannot beat to women as they have good image on our cast, which is completely wrong and giving false information) My MIL speaks unnecessary dialogs to my mother and took my wife with them I have two options, • Bring wife with me, (in this case my parents feel bad about me, since there is no fault for them) • Stay with Parents, (Wife will never come to me since she don't want to stay with my father) Since I am only child, hence I need both parents and wife with my 1.5 years old baby. And that was after i supported mine n her familys food n shelter for 2mos while she struggled to get her wic n foodstamps in order but how easy selfish 1s 4get. She picked arguments for days but I never bit till she said that crap n I had enough n threw all her food out n said take ur food n go! She obviously got mad cuz she def don't have a fridge anywhere or a house to go to so she got pissed n stayed but then she passed by me saying UR GONNA PAY 4THIS..1 WAY OR ANOTHER UR GONNA PAY4 ALL OF THIS.AND MORe.SO U BETTER WATCH UR BACK...Then our husbands started arguing cuz her husband believes her and my husband had my back and he wouldn't allow some1 to liv under our roof after threatening his wife! So I had enough. Called the cops. They did Nada. Gave me a case #. Here we r 2wks later they're still here cuz she says she has tenant rights! So we served her an eviction notice. 30days. I'm in hell everyday its something.now today my hubby lent her his fone 2 call their dad n she uses it to Facebook messeg her Bff n told her she's being good for now but on the move date she's gonna beat me up n her man is doing same to my hubby!
