Or they just walk away and it makes me feel like I'm not even worth talking to no matter what I do. It's been like this since I was younger. What should i do? After those 4 yrs i ended up moving to a different city far away from where i used to live. The first year we were still close friends although we both had made new friends already. Then just a few months ago i started to get a feeling she was trying to make me jealous by posting pics with her friends everyday and when she texted me she would always talk about them and how good life is. We've been taking things slow but we see each other a few times a week, at least, he's always been a gentleman. We talk about the future & have future plans for holidays, plan to get a place together with his son eventually & he says he's found the one and neither of us has to look anymore cuz we have each other. He texts me all day every day, tells me he misses me, talks about how much he can't wait to see me, says he's all about me. We have NOT had sex yet. We went on a weekend trip & he told me he didn't bring me there to have sex & we still haven't. He did rant about females & how they try to get so much attention on FB & showed me some that inbox him, also brought up wanting to be friends with an ex. But now he's very different. IMO it's like he doesn't know what wants anymore. When I tried to talk to him about it he just said he was busy & doesn't know why I'm thinking this way. So I asked him what he wants & he says "I just want to be happy." He also says he wants me but wants to hang out more to make sure. My parents are too busy and they've already complained to my school once about it last year. Ok so i go to a K-8 school and I don't have any friends in my grade really and I've done nothing to these girls. I know it's probably just teenage drama and stuff. Basically they keep telling me that im not allowed to play with the little kids at recess and lunch. I hang out with the 1st graders every day because all my other friends are upperclassmen in high school and are already finished with elementary. Im an only child so I have no one to play with at home. I don't want anyone to think I'm annoying or get tired of this situation but I'm really frustrated with this because they can't stop bugging me without reason and they just say I can't hang out at the little kids playground anymore? Sure i know all the older grades usually hang out in the hallways or in the field and stuff but I don't go there often unless it's a class activity. I have been unhappy with the way he has been treating me in certain ways. For example, he never invited me to go out nor and the one time I did ask him to come out he told me no. I have been letting him use an office which I have access to since 2015. I sometimes give him my key so that he can come early and use the office. Today, I was a bit angry at the way he had been speaking to me. I am a guy who is always respectful. I was talking to one of our friends who was resting in the office and he told me " he is sleeping shhhh" in what I felt was a disprectful manner. I was kind of agitated. When this friend went away I told him over text, " I can stay till 23:30 latest, I will need my key". He then came and collected his stuff. I remained calm, we did not dispute or anything I said thanks and let him out but I could hear by the tone of his voice that he was agitated. To be honest, this guy does help me with work and I also help him sometimes. I was just frustrated over the way in which he had been speaking to me recently. This guy is 27 and I am 21. |

Like yeah its senior year so I've grown a part from some friends but I still thought I had some. I haven't made any enemies that I know of. It just makes me feel even worse because last night on haloween my bf and I broke up and when I called my friend crying, he said he was out with friends and would call me back but he never did because he got home at 1:30. Then I was supposed to go trick or treat and hang out with some friends but when I texted to ask what time I should come over I didnt get a response until like nine saying sorry they a;ready trick or treated and were going home. Then today I missed school because I had to go to court for a car accident at like 8 in the morning and only one friend texted me happy birthday. I m 13 and I m in 8th grade I have oi it s a rare brittle bone disease so I m only 4 feet tall and I walk a little funny. I ve never really had that many friends so in about 5th Grade I tried to make new friends with two girls that weren t popular but weren t like losers and we became friends for about a year and I didn t know that friend A thought I stole friend B but friend B and I were close till Friend A became popular and Friend B left. In seventh grade I made friends with someone new and we became best friends and we were friends but I always feel like I m trying to force her friendship she never tells me what she wants to do or anything and I know she wants to do other stuff but she won t tell me now we ve been planning Halloween and she just last minute told me she s going with her other friends who don t like me instead and it makes me sad. It basically started in the 7th grade where I got bullied a lot. But I always swept it under the rug and hide the pain. But me and her met somehow and became friends. When summer came we texted a lot, like everyday a lot. We both liked talking to each other and grew more as friends. I don't know how this conversation started but I later told her that I was bullied and was really depress. She promise to be there for me and always be by my side. Of course that made me feel super happy and her too. When 8th grade started, on the first day of school we hugged and she gave me a 16 to 20 pages of her saying how much she cares about me (as a friend mind you). That was the first day but then my mom forced me to move schools because of the bullying. Me and this girl were both really sad but we still continue to text each other. I was still bullied at this new school but not as bad as before. Over time I was a bit...............needy towards this girl. I would even make up sob stories just to get her attention even though I already had it. When I was liked that I felt she was annoyed with me but still be there like she said. By the end of the year the bullying increased where the same depressing feelings came back but even stronger. I forgot what the reason was but I went back to my old school and there was only 1 week left until school was over. My friend was really happy that I was coming and I was too. 2/2 But I was needy and took advantage of a caring friend. After 8th grade we still talked but I continued to be the needy kid I was. Then one day she just never texted me back. Then my mom forced me to go to a new high school that wasn't in our area. But I don't blame her for doing that. Throughout the years I thought she betrayed me but later I came to realize that it was me who broke this relationship. So is it too late to apologize and how do I apologize? On Friday we were talking until about 1 am but then he stopped replying and Saturday we did not text at all. It was his birthday so I'm sure he had plans. He snapchatted me a few times so it's not like he did not contact me at all. Sunday afternoon I texted him and asked how his birthday was. We had a normal conversation up until about midnight. Once again I sent the last message. Yesterday we did not talk at all.. I just sent one snapchat and so far today we did not talk either. Every week my math teacher gives us a weekly project, but I forgot to do mine. I did most of it in class, but there was one problem that I was stuck on so I looked at my best friend's paper because she sits right next to me and she was in the bathroom. I didn't do a whole page of it because I didn't have time and I didn't want to copy hers because I know cheating is wrong. Today my math teacher called a bunch of girls into her room and she told us we all cheated. We had to write a reflection about it and we all got a 0 on that assignment. I don't want my friend to be mad at me and I don't know if my teacher told my parents. What should I do? |

Posted: 01 Nov 2016 11:57 AM PDT I'm in a tough situation right now where I know no one locally so I'm very lonely, but I've no idea how to go about meeting new people and as my finances are so tight I've got to be careful on how I spend my money trying to find 'my people' - ideally I'd try to get to know some people online first. It doesn't seem there are any ways of meeting locals online any more (I used to use message boards, or messaging like ICQ allowed you to find random local people online to chat to). Am I missing anything? |

We are just friends (no intention of a relationship). I thought we were getting along great. Anyway, the last thing he texted me was "Good night, talk to you tomorrow"....But he never texted me, and I checked his facebook and he deleted his account, I checked his instagram and it s now on private setting. I emailed him on a chatroom where I first met him from, I asked him what s up, and he said he deleted it for a while and he sent me his email so we could still keep in touch.... I feel like I just lost a new friend, WHY do I feel so empty? I barely know him. I even sent him my email to stay in touch, and the only thing he replied back with was "sure". I just want to cry. |
| Posted: 01 Nov 2016 11:40 AM PDT Sparing as many details as I can. We met in high school and talked to each other sometimes, but were more like acquaintances than friends. Back in March this year I told a mutual friend I wanted to text her so he gave her my number. We texted for a few weeks but she never seemed interested in doing anything with me so I gave up. Fast forward all the way to last week, the mutual friend tells me that she wants me to text her again. So a few days after that I texted her. It has been five days now and never got a response. I have been holding back on sending another text as I have a crush on her and don't want to seem clingy or demanding. I don't know what to do at this point. I don't know why she would say that and then not respond, or if my friend is lying I don't know why he would do that either. My current plan is to tell the friend what happened and hopefully it would prompt the girl to text me herself instead of going through the mutual friend again. |

| Question: Why do people/coworkers take an abnormal interest interest in my finances? Posted: 01 Nov 2016 11:15 AM PDT I am a 28 yr old who looks about 18 or 19 and I work in local gov. I have worked in 2 different departments, but prior to that I worked in the private sector. Several of my co-workers and even a superior all pry about my finances. I have been asked the cost of my rent, amount in my bank account and recently if I work another job. I am not sure what sort of vibes I am giving off, but I'd describe myself as hardworking, but very quiet. I do not like a lot of drama and never really cared much for gossip. I mostly work with older women. I had a person who I thought was a friend although she never really attempted to be a true friend. She never really wanted to to get together with out kids or even talk on the phone. She had the nerve to ask me for a large sum of money and when I told her I did not have it, she said I was not Christian. I also have other ladies in my work who watch me and notice if I wear something new who will look me up and down. I keep a low profile, don't brag about money, yet this still happens very frequently. |

I got so used to just doing school, theater, and video games to realize that I have no life, Now I finally realize that I need to change. I have a lot of depression in my life, Video games and other internet stuff seem childish to me. All the friends I have are Facebook friends and we all know how "real" they are. The other theater kids I know are all busy and don't live very close to me. I can drive now and I would like to hang out with them, I'm close to them, but I just don't know how to say that we should hang out. I'm lonely and depressed, I could use some tips on how to get moving and make my life better. |

I was sad, but I understood. But about two hours later I get onto Facebook and see that he's just posted this picture of him and this girl he met a month ago hanging out which pissed me off, because he said he said he was at work, even though he was wandering around the neighborhood his +1. I was super pissed so I texted my theater group chat friends about it, and told them they were welcome to prank call or prank text them. one girl pulled off the best prank text ever on Brad, and another friend pranked called Brad, except that Brad apparently thought it was me. I'm also afraid that he thinks I was behind the prank text as well, apparently, my friend prank texted him a little too well that Brad started cussing her out and sh*t. So, I realize that I've probably made the situation worse, but I wonder what I should tell brad today. Any ideas? Also, realize that Brad and I have been friends for ten years., so this is a sensitive matter. I am a straight 16 year old guy, Realize that I know that I was a big dick about this too. |

And any time I see anything about my old highschool on social media in the 2013 class group I feel weird it's hard to explain. HE TOLD ME THAT IF HE GET THE JOB HE'LL PROBABLY CANCEL HIS STARTUP BUSINESS WHICH IS ABOUT TO START IN THE NEAR FUTURE. A month later i got a call for test and thankfuly i pass the first phase and currently waiting for the next call for an interview. Guess what? He didn't even get a call to attend the test.. I told him about it and suddenly he said he's not really interested in that position anymore. Then we just go on to talk about many things else, and suddenly he came up with bunch of job advertising telling me to apply for one of them. I'm not interested and i just refused implicitly by saying that i'm waiting for that company i had mentioned earlier then he told me to stop pursuing that company. What does this means? |
