My friend "Susy" has a lot of beef with this other girl "Jane". Jane has two backup friends, "Julia" and "Jamie" (These aren't their real names). Jane has a boyfriend, who my friend Susy previously had a relationship with. We'll call the boyfriend Chad. Chad is kinda a player, and everyone knows that Jane is just getting with him because she is a) desperate and b) a thot. My friend, Susy, has a lot of friends at a neighboring school. She messages them on snapchat a lot, especially "Grace". After a previous incident that is not important in this story, Susy rants to Grace over snapchat about Jane. Susy does not have a problem with Julia or Jamie, and is friends with them. Neither Julia nor Jamie know that Jane and Susie have a problem with one another. A few days later, Jane and Grace somehow meet. They don't know one another at the time, but Grace eventually finds out that this was the girl who Susy was ranting about. She shows Jane the snapchats and later Jane tells Julia and Jamie. Now, they are all mad at Susie, including Julia and Jamie. I need your advice on this: How do I prove Susie to be innocent? I know she is not innocent, but I'd like to mend the friendship between Susie, Jamie and Julia without Susie needing to apologize. The problem is, she has a bit of bad reputation, as she's always posting on her snapchat story pictures of herself drunk or taking shots. I had been really good friends with her in elementary and middle school, but we grew apart freshmen and sophomore year, and I guess she got into the wrong crowd. But anyways, I ended up telling my parents about what she was doing because it was just so crazy, and we didn't talk anymore anyways, so I didn't think it mattered. We're in newspaper together this year, and we've become close again. I can really tell she's not a bad person. She recently got caught, someone anonymously sent her parents the pictures and videos, and she's completely sworn off drinking. I think she's serious about it too. But anyways, i'm worried now that I've told my parents about her past drinking habits, they won't let me go. I usually end up not able to contribute to the conversations that anyone tries to spark up with me, and I usually am more open and happy with playing games with the person, watching a show, or working together on something. When I am doing an activity with a person, then I find myself talking more. I do not know if I have gotten my question across, but I am pretty much asking is there something wrong with me since I cannot really contribute to any conversation without any of the activity I listed above, or is that just a natural thing of just being different with nothing really wrong with it? And if anyone is curious... My problem is that people always say they are bored because I am not talking much, and when I suggest a game, movie, or anything like that... He drives his Mom car, and she just like my Dad, have problems with taking other co workers home after work. Now, our group of friends sometimes makes jokes that he takes too seriously. He's even told me before to stop making jokes like that. So I stopped. But he still get offended from other stuff. He is a very sensitive person. So this past week he has been acting completely different. He is very dull, barely responds to anything and overall just ignores me. I asked him what's wrong and he just said nothing. I asked him why he's ignoring my group and I and he just said "sometimes you guys are annoying". He unfollowed me on Instagram and all that. Posted: 06 Nov 2016 01:09 PM PST Basically I am a 14 year old boy and it seems that since my birthday about a month ago my whole life has just became really bad and everyday is becoming worse and a worse as I sometimes cry myself to sleep worrying about the next day. I hate going to school because I have a lot of friends in the year above and only about 1 friend in my year group and there is a "ring leader" in the year above who everybody follows and everybody "likes" (although I pretty sure nobody likes him but people just try to stick around him because he is really mean to everybody he doesn t like) and basically I had an argument with him and now he doesn t like me causing everybody else to not speak to me because he will start on them for likening me. It sounds confusing but it really isn t. So at lunch I walk around really slowly trying to avoid him the best I can and hide in the bathrooms waiting for the bell to go. Another thing is that I have almost completely stopped speaking to my parents and never want to be around them because an argument always takes place and it s usually over the same things but every time it gets worse because I know that they have no clue how I m felling and I m not the type of person to show my feelings around people I d rather just suffer in silence and carry on. Usually this isn't a problem because everyone in our group has good relations with each other. I consider everyone my friend and they all consider me their friend. We are a group of 10 kids, juniors and seniors in high school, around half boys half girls. Some people are friends outside of this group through school. We are a very funny group and we only are in this group because we worked to make it in. Today, however, our improv skills were not great because of the hostility. What really made me upset though, was the fact that people took sides rather than break up anything going on between the two whom it started among. I'd like to say to them through our group chat, "hey guys, you did really well this morning. However I did notice one thing, and I pray no one takes this personally. I noticed that we weren't working great together, and that was taking a toll on our group chemistry and therefore on our skills as entertainers. I'd like to remind everyone that when we enter [improv place] that we leave our outside troubles and any attitudes at the door. If we're not working together well, during our shows we will not make as many people laugh. We will be forcing jokes. That is not what we want. Am I wrong in saying that we should improve upon this?" Would that work? Or should I not say anything at all? |

I asked her out last year but she didn't want to go on another date after the first one. This was almost a year ago. I work with her and it's just torture. She is really all I am able to think about. If I start to study I just give up and end up thinking of ways I could maybe text her or something. I know junior year is really important and I'm usually a straight A student but now my grades are mostly C's because I can't stop thinking about her and even get distracted during test. Clothes I feel are kind of off the table, because I give her all my cute clothes I can't wear anymore (I am a size bigger in shirts). So, she has tones of clothes (mostly Aeropostale, holister, and justice, because that's what I give her and what I wear. She has a dsi, but also like 20 games to go with it. She has an Xbox 360, but most games cost a lot, and I would like to get her a few things. She doesn't have a phone and shares a rca 7" black tablet with her little brother. She doesn't like to read, and looses everything so PLEASE nothing small and valueble. She loves Jewelry and makeup from Clair's, and I am not getting her makeup because she is not aloud to wear more than clear lipgloss or tinted lip balm. She is my BFF and I love her so much. |

Since then she has asketo be his friend I'm fb but then recently found out that his page became unable to ask for friends. We figure it might be his wife doing something on his page because we also realized that they never take photos together or even with their children like they used too. He also never mentioned his wife around us and hated to. He would mention his kids and a lot of time when they came in they would look at me like they were trying to figure me out. Anytime she came in he avoided us or even her. one time he avoided her and spent most of his time near me. He always tried to be near me even when she wasn't there or dropped hints he liked me. Others coud see it too. He had told a few people where he woud be working me too but didn't get into ful detai like he did with others. He told me before he left that I didnt have to worry because i would see him around. His last few days he kind of backed off of me a little and I could tell he was hurt. Posted: 06 Nov 2016 10:45 AM PST I'm homeschooled, went on a trip with girls and guys that I've known for a while and have tried to talk to me but I'm horrible at that kind of thing, and my teachers made it seem like on trips like these you make friends for life, but that seemed true for everybody but me. I longed to be able to talk with the guys the way they laughed with the other girls. I tried to talk to one guy, but he made me feel like I was being really awkward, so I just backed off. Now when I see him every week, he just either looks at me weird or talks to the people I'm sitting next to, seeming uncomfortable and never acknowledging me, so I'm too scared to say hi when we're around. The other guy, I was attracted to him so that intimidated me, since he has a girlfriend so nothing could happen. He tried to include me and get me to open up, but I was too awkward and was too scared to be around him, so he's mostly given up at this point. Another guy, we're not friends but he at least acknowledges me and talks to me. The last guy, we are friends and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, if we can hang out without it being a date, if I can text him without being awkward or boring him, when and how I'm supposed to have conversations with him, what the purpose of our friendship is supposed to be. The nuances of friendships with guys is just really hard for me, its terrifying, I can't figure out what they think of me and I'm scared I'm just really annoying so I end up avoiding them altogether. |

Our boss John is in his 40s and his new wife is in her early 20s, my age. A few days later he ask me if I thought his wife was cute. I said, "I had not give it much thought but yes she is cute". It became known at the office that John was very jealous of his wife with other men. One day John ask me if I would like to "fool around with his wife". Wanting to not get involved with his personal life and wanting to keep my job I said "I would not fool around with any man's wife". He said "then you are the person to train my wife to use the company's computer system so she can help me with the business. I did not want to do that but I had no choice to do it if I wanted to keep my job. I did train her but it took a long time. After the training she told me "I owe you big time. Please let me take you to lunch to say thank you for being patient with me during the training". I told her I could only do that if her husband John came with us. She said he is very busy and probably could not find the time to join us for lunch. I told her a thank you lunch was not necessary. My thoughts were that a lunch with her without him would put my job on the line. Do you think I made the right decision about this or was I worried for nothing? |

It is a very tough class and all the guys in the class offered to help me study and do the problems? I often took them up on the offer. They were VERY HELPFUL. I thought it was appropriate to somehow tell them thank you. I made cookies and took the cookies and Cokes to class and gave them to the guys. I also gave each guy a kiss and said thank you for your help. Much to my surprise some of the girls at school complained to the school that the school should not let what I did with their boyfriends happen. Even some of the mothers also complained to the school about what I did. Do you think I did something wrong? None of the guys complained? If the guys are OK with it and I am OK with it, what is the problem? |
