Posted: 22 Nov 2017 02:07 PM PST I came home and my brother who is 21 was hitting my mother, she was screaming and yelling, None of my other sisters tried to help her. When I told him to stop he punched me really hard twice in the arm. My mother told me to run, and I had to close my door to protect myself from him. Later when I told my brother I was going to report him, my mom called me and said he wasen't hitting her, and everything that HAPPENED WAS MY FAULT!. How do I handle this situation? Please help. |
Question: Grandma comes over and complains, what can I do? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 01:58 PM PST I have no choice but to have my grandma and mom over for the holidays. My grandma is pushing 100 (mid 90s) and thinks she is the boss of everyone (this was not due to age, she was always this way). My child recently broke his leg after horseplaying with his older brother. She started stuff on the phone accusing my child of breaking his own leg and said it wasnt the brother s fault. I told her off and had my mom also tell her off (she lied the whole time as always). When she comes over, she complains about my pets, she ALWAYS finds a housekeeping violation (even if I hire an expensive maid co), complains about the food, yells @ me if I fuss at my children when they misbehave. My mom said "she will never learn to keep her mouth shut and to mind her own business, she has gotten into trouble all her life for her mouth and she refuses to change". What can I do? I had my in laws over once for TG and she insulted my hubby to his dads face and called him ugly names. WE DO NOT LIVE TOGETHER WE ALL LIVE IN DIFFERENT PLACES ALL OVER A MAJOR CITY |

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 01:03 PM PST My older sister is always in my business and she is literally so controlling over me.Once I was putting my laundry away and my clothes were in the same basket as hers so once I picked up some of my clothes, she asked what I was doing and I told her I was getting my clothes then she started arguing with me because the laundry basket was in front of her room and she didn t want me to touch her clothes! After that, she literally took the laundry basket to her room and locked the door.I don t get it,she said I was irritating because I wanted to put my clothes in my closet!Shes always trying to argue with me about everything I do!Shes even convinced that I m trying to copy her style and she made my answer a bunch of questions and I had to lie to her about my answers (the questions were like:Coffe or Tea?or Pink or Black?,even though I recently heard her listen to all of the music that I like!Shes always trying to boss me around!Help... |

Question: Are my parents emotionally/verbally abusive? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 12:07 PM PST My best friend thinks so. I m not sure. They re very controlling; they read my diary and look through all my texts and pictures on a near daily basis. They ve cut me off from a lot of my closest friends because they thought they were "bad influences." My stepdad calls me names all the time (things like "lazy *****" or "useless slut") and he refuses to allow any sort of romantic involvement with anyone. This is a particular problem, because I ve been in a relationship for a few months now, and things are going great, but I m constantly worried my parents will find out, pull me out of theater, and forbid me to talk to him. It s getting to the point where my stepdad criticizes me on a daily basis. I don t know if I m just being overdramatic, but I really desperately want to leave. But does any of this qualify as abuse? Do I have a legitimate reason to want out? (Note: I m only 14 so even if there is reason for me to leave, I can t really go anywhere) |
Question: What do i think of this situation? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 11:38 AM PST Wife & I had an argument about bills. She got so mad, she took the baby out in the middle of the night and started walking to no where. She's new in the country. That night we argued about how I lowered the water flow in the house and she thought it was too slow. She even said very soon her and my son will be dead. She said she was better of outside than in the house where she could hurt herself. She even claimed I don't love my son. I asked if she felt sorry about that night. She said no. Is it All because she can't control her emotion or is she dangerous? |
Question: Why do my kids refuse to move out? This is ALL that I have done for them? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 10:59 AM PST These are some things I have done for my kids. I am 55 my kids are 18 and 19. When they were 5 and 6 I told them Santa was not real. At 5 and 6 I stopped buying them christmas presents. When they were 8 and 9 I stopped buying them birthday presents and stopped celebrating their birthdays. I have never taught either how to drive but I expect them both to move out with no transportation. The public transportation is in the city 35 miles from us. Both kids refuse to walk in the middle of the road(we live off a highway) or on the edge of the road in the ditch just because it has sewage and trash in it. I have had both homeschooled since they were 8 and 9. I never let either join homeschool activites as I did not see the point in them. Stopped allowing them to go to summer camps at 11 and 12. Am I a good father? Only wondering as my brother and sister have told me I am "horrible" but I do not think that I am. |

Question: I lied to my parents and now they will never forgive me? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 09:38 AM PST I m 16. So, I lied to my parents about dating this guy that they don t really like because he smokes weed, so my mom found out and got so angry that a few days after finding out she took my phone and read my messenger conversations with my friends and with the guy that I dated. She found out that I have been smoking cigarettes and weed and also that I have been drinking and doing sexual things with my ex boyfriend. I know that it seems that I m a spoiled brat, but I honestly don t know what has gotten into me, I wish I could go back in time and not do all those things but I can t. She told my dad about everything and now they are both very angry and disappointed (which they should be) and they told me that I will never fix this situation and get it back like it used to be, which hurts me deeply because I ve been raised in a loving and caring environment, even though my parents are divorced, they gave their all to teach me good manners and to give me and my brother everything we needed without spoiling us, and look what I did! Also, in my moments of anger I wrote some horrible, nasty things about my parents that my mom read and she was so broken by reading that...I m grounded till the end of the year, but that doesn t really concern me, what matters is how I m going to get them to forgive me and trust me again? I m willing to give up on everything just to have them love me like they did. I really want their forgiveness! |

Question: What does this mean to you ? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 07:15 AM PST What does this mean to you? "The sad part about being humans is that we are not perfect, so we make countless mistakes. The cool part is that, we learn so many lessons from those mistakes. Leading us to expand our knowledge and wisdom towards life. Although that only begins when we make the choice to learn. " |

Posted: 22 Nov 2017 04:22 AM PST Not literal blackmail but just in the family if I want something should I use this as "I will tell your secret if you don't give me" as I am 12 years younger and so was 3 when she did this. My sister is now a demanding 26 year old who is spoiled by our mother. However she is not dangerous like she was at 15. I am 14 now, almost 15. Anonymous: Too late, I have a 23 year old brother who got a woman pregnant. He doesn't have anything to do with the child though which upsets my Dad (Mom doesn't know). |
Question: What should i call my parents? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 03:48 AM PST I'm 15 years old and live with my mom and my stepdad, Chris. I've always called her mom, and always called him Chris. I'm just now starting to feel like i should be calling Chris dad, but it seems to late at this point. Is it? My mom always tells me stories from when i was little about how she would try to get me to say "mommy" but i always said it was stupid and refused. Is it too late to start calling her that? She still calls my grandma mommy, but she died when my mom was 12. I want to start being more endearing with names but I'm not sure what to do. Help? |
Question: Should I not go to my girlfriend's thanksgiving for her work? It might be aukward? Posted: 22 Nov 2017 03:24 AM PST Its going to be mostly people I dont know and its her job. She already mentioned her strict boss and this other lady I might not get along with. My concern is if people dont like me or vice versa it can effect her job? I might not go and just say Im sick. People are very opinionated, judgemental, and rude where I live. There is an age diffetence too and Im not from around here. |
Question: My dad doesn't want my family over for the holidays? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 11:52 PM PST My dad never lets me family have guest over and it's so annoying. I was looking forward to this thanksgiving because I was going to spend time with my cousins and have fun but my dad told my mom he doesn't want her family there. He just wants us. The thing is that my family is pretty broken up and everyone just stays in their room. And it isn't fair because whenever my family comes over he has a huge fight with my mom. I should mention that he gives the excuse that it's a bad influence for my 26 year old brother because he will get drunk. And it's disappointing that my whole family has to suffer just for one person in our family. It's only once a year and I never get to see any of my cousins. I don't know why he acts this way, it's really selfish of his part I think. I just feel really bad for my other brother because he planned this whole thing and now he's really disappointed. Also, my dad has an attitude problem and says harsh words to my brother, I should mention that we are all in our 20s. Even my mom is sad. |
Question: Will I get sentenced to jail? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 11:32 PM PST 5 years ago I got caught shoplifting 2 times in that same week and I hired a lawyer, he was able to get me off with 3 years probation. I got caught stealing last week from Walmart for the amount of $40. When I meet the same lawyer today he asked me why I did it again and I confessed to him that I always shoplift when I'm stressed out. I told him about how my husband (we are Arabic) makes me have sex with his brothers, friends and people online. Then I showed my lawyer the burn marks I got from my husband when I don't do what he wants. My lawyer started crying when I told him about this and he tried convincing me to arrest my husband. I told him I just want to take care of this first. I have 5 kids and don't want to put my husband in any trouble. By the way I'm 31 years old. Anyways, my lawyer charged me $2500 and I paid him it all in cash, do you think he will get me off without any jail time? He told me I won't go to jail because he knows the court very well (he was elected to be a judge but didn't win) but I'm not sure if he just said that I won't go to jail because I was upset or do you think he wouldn't say it if he didn't mean it? PS please don't judge me, I know what I did was wrong and I'm working with me therapist to make sure it never happens again! Thank you for your time 🙏 |

Question: I have a verbally abusive family, and I hate them now.? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 10:38 PM PST I'm 25 with a child and around this time I see them a lot, I remember being call fat, black AF (I'm the darkest in my family), and my dad told me my older sister is the pretty one. After working hard I have book published, and work on a popular Chicago Talk show they are always up my butt, and they act like it never happened but I cant forget. I've been told I'm acting dramatic and let it go but I can't. I want them to say sorry to me but I know they are not, I can't just forget years on that. |
Question: How do I get my daughter to listen to me? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 10:21 PM PST My daughter is 26 and still lives at home. She currently works 2 jobs. She is currently paying her student loans, for some of her food, her car insurance, gas, health insurance, and any car repairs. She works about 30 minutes from home. On the weekends she goes out with friends and has to drive 20 minutes to meet them. She spends money on the weekends and I don't like that. I told her she needs to be saving her money and that she shouldn't be hanging out with her friends on the weekend because I don't think she can afford it. She gets all mad at me and says she's saving her money and think she's entitled to hang out with friends on the weekends. I don't like that a lot of her friends are gay/bi because I want her to find a boyfriend who will take care of her. She tells me she's more into girls and I told her she needs to date men. What am I suppose to tell my mother and friends that my daughter is a lesbian? That would be so embarrassing. |
Question: I don’t love my mom? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:49 PM PST Ok this is a bit long. My relationship with my mom used to be fine. However, when we did fight, my mom would often say things that really hurt me. She calls me worthless, stupid, and an idiot. She puts a lot of stress on me to get into a good college because as she puts it, I'm not pretty enough for anything else, so I have to be smart. She has told me that having children was the worst mistake of her life. I recognize that she says these things out of anger and they might not all be true as she has been diagnosed with depression after a suicide attempt last year. However, it seems that no matter what I do, I can't live up to her expectations. I am in a gifted program at school, keep a 4.0, play a varsity sport, and win awards on my instrument, but she always make it sound like I'm "expected" to do better. I used to feel guilty for not being good enough because my family has moved for my education. However, now, I don't feel anything for her. I've tried to apologize too many times after fights only to get hurt by her words that I don't think it's worth it to have s good relationship with her anymore. Right now, I feel more comfortable keeping her at a distance so her words don't hurt me as much. I tried talking to her but she says that she has provided everything physically and financially so it should be obvious to me that her words are in anger. But whenever she says those things, my feelings are still hurt. What can I do to mend this relationship? Thanks |

Question: What is wrong with my daughter? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:39 PM PST My 14 year old daughter, refuses to pack lunch for school. She doesn't eat breakfast or lunch, but comes home and eats. She'll then have a decent sized dinner. Whatever she eats too, she seems to eat unhealthily. Her sister always teases her about her weight (she's not fat at all, she's 60kg and 168cm) It's not the fact that she's not eating that's worrying me, it's the fact that 2 weeks ago I got a call from the school saying that a teacher saw her arm (she had self harmed) and sent her up to the Guidance Officer. It's been a tough year for her, she lost her grandad, nan, uncle and was basically blamed for the death of her nan by her Aunty. I know she's struggling, but she has this mindset that she cannot be seen weak. She won't cry, express her love for anyone or talk about her emotions to anyone else. I don't know what's wrong with her, can somebody please give tell me what to do? |
Question: I don’t respect my parents at all - am I wrong? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:31 PM PST I'm 21 years old. I am taken care of but do not respect my parents. My whole adolecense I cannot recall 1 single loving memory with them. My grandma took care of me & raised me bc my mom was in school. My dad worked. What I do recall is my dad constantly cheating, disappearing for weeks, my mom screaming & crying at the top of her lungs, using me to get him to answer her, my mom being so tied up in this she paid no attention to me. I even wrote her a note as a 12 year old asking him to leave him, she ripped it up in my face. My grandparents bought my parents a condo, my mom wasted their $. My dad said once we moved he was moving back to his hometown (due to all the arguing) we then missed out on our new bought house & still are staying in my grandmas tiny basement due to my moms pathetic decision. My dad & I never really had a relationship. Due to what went on, I didn't talk to him for years. He strangled me when I was 14. Recently told my sister I'm jealous of her & lost in life, he's just overall useless to me. The list is never ending. My mom yells & curses at me for every little thing, does not know how to speak civilly which leads to all our recent arguments bc I will not stand for being talked to like a piece of sh!t. Over the summer she cursed me while pushing me because she thought I took her tank top. I don't respect them. I don't love my dad. I love my mom but I have absolutely zero respect for her either. I feel no connection with them. PIs this bad? |
Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:00 PM PST I have a friend who lives quite a lot of miles away. She's special to me and her birthday is coming up really soon. I don't want to just send a bundle of flowers because thats so normal. I thought of a birthday box! Which is a box decorated on the inside (like a birthday) and loaded with all of her fun favorite snacks and cute TINY gifts I find for her. It is as creative as I can get, do you think she will like that? Is it weird if i ask another one of her close best friends, if they could ask for a list of snacks from her? Just because I want to keep it a surprise and not give her any ideas that i am doing something for her |
Question: IS THIS HER INTENTION? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 08:55 PM PST Okay so, my mother told me to invite my father to our Thanksgiving dinner. My parents have been apart since I was three. My mother just got out a relationship a month ago. My father has been single for awhile now. I invited him and hes coming. My mother said its just because shes making ALOT of food. But do you think maybe she wants him to be there to see him? I dont know but I think this could be an opportunity for them to become a couple again? Personally I feel they are not right for eachother, my father is just so patient/calm and my mother is always so impatient/angry HOWEVER my father did tell me awhile back while they were dating they didnt argue hardly at all whioch is strange because my mother argues with everyone lmao |
Question: How to convince parents to let you have gauges.? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 08:37 PM PST My parents won't let me have gauges. I wanted to get them for a few years now. I just want to get them to a 15 or 14 and that's it. I know a place to get them professionally and I have the money to pay it. The problem is that I told my parents that I don't like earrings since my mom would usually buy me ugly or cringey ones. They said since i don't like them then I can't get them. And they said "you're at an age where you're dumb and think everything in life is easy. You'll regret getting them later in life" even though I'm stopping at a 15 or 14 |
Question: Why can't my little sister and I get long? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 08:36 PM PST My sister is 3 and a half year younger than me, she is 13, we get into fight legit every single day. She is always the cute and the precious one of the family, what ever she did wrong, my parents blames me and beats me for it. Everyone in the family treats her like a little queen and treats me like i'm human waste, they got her a 750 dollars Samsung phone, a room, a computer before she even turned 12 and while I have to sleep in the guests room downstairs with nothing until the age of 13. both her and I ice skates, I skated for total almost 3 years and is already working on advanced jumps and spins and meanwhile she skated for 6 years and STILL A BEGINNER. whenever I did some tiniest position wrong, I get beaten and called "failed abortion" by my parents, and yet they're willing to waste their money on a brat who puts zero effort and passion into this sport. Everytime we got into a fight, my sister would video record me giving her lectures and post it across her social media accounts, she also take pictures of me while I'm sleeping and she uses that to blackmail me to obey her. I am literally her freaking slave. The last we got into a fight, I said something that really offended her, after that she put a knife on my desk and a note saying "kill yourself" there's still a lot more of the horrible things my sister did and said. Like seriously, help me, why do I deserve this horrible life, while all of my friends are like best buddies with their siblings? |

Question: My dad has diabetes and keeps eating pizza. How do I stop him? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:17 PM PST I m becoming extremely frustrated with my father where he keeps buying pizza from Little Caesars everyday. From this point, he is in a state of denial, refusing to believe that he has diabetes. At this rate, my father is not going to live very long and it is stressing me the **** out. Countless arguments with my father hasn t helped and only led to drama. The more I try to harass my father about it, the more he gets furious and shuts me off. No matter what I say, he won t listen. I went to the Little Caesar store where he usually buys the pizza to talk to the manager and I requested the manager to stop selling my dad pizza, however, the manger told me that they are not allowed to refuse service to anyone and have done nothing to help my situation. I really don t know what to do. Does anyone have any useful advice on how to deal with this situation? |
Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:16 PM PST So, I'm homeschooled, so I don't go to school. I literally cannot count how many friends I have online, since I spend 24/7 on it. The thing is, I have literally 0 friends outside of the internet. My daily routine is like this. Wake up, sometimes every 2nd week I might take a shower, every 2 months I might brush my teeth. No makeup. Maybe, maybe, I might go out to a shopping centre. After all that's done, we get home and I get yelled at for little reason. Then, I go online to my animal jam pack and practice my advanced anatomy. Then, I go to sleep. It's such an eventful life, isn't it? But it's driving me insane. I'm constantly sweaty, I have so much fat from not being able to work out, my teeth hurt from no dentist visits, I barely shower, never brush my teeth. I have the same pair of shoes I must wear every day. The worst of all, my dog has a severe foot infection. I'm constantly thinking something is watching me. And my dogs have nowhere to poo except a pile of newspaper that they pee and poo on. It smells so much, and my mom doesn't do much to clean it at all. And on the subject of cleaning, she doesn't clean the house at all. She mops it maybe twice a year at a stretch. To be honest, she's putting my skills in vocabulary in a grave. If I'm just sitting here, rotting, with no friends and nothing to look forward to besides roleplay every few days. Is there any advice for me? Sorry for the length of the post. |
Question: What if I see mommy kissing Santa Claus again this year??!?!?!? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:15 PM PST So last year I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus underneath the mistletoe that night. She didn't see me creep downstairs to have a peep. She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep! Good thing she didn't get caught by my dad! she would have been in huge trouble! I don't want that same thing to happen again and she gets caught! What should I do?!?! |

Question: Family Problem Advice? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:28 PM PST I am 19 years old and am attending a local community college near my house. I am not one of those kids who slacked off in high school; i was actually a straight A student and have no idea what I want to do with my life. My parents put a lot of pressure on me to go to school and I want to but I also enjoy my current job a lot. However they only allow me to work one day a week despite me expressing my desire to work more as I have a lot of free time. They keep saying if I am scheduled for more than my one day then they will go down there and yell at my boss, which I can not have happen because I feel as if I will lose a lot of respect. My parents also make me feel stupid a lot and put me down. The other day my sister was in her room sleeping and I was in my room doing homework and my mom said she needed help. I told her to ask my sister because I was trying to stay focused on getting my homework done. She started screaming and telling me that I was a piece of s*** and that I was worthless. Things like this have been happening a lot more lately. I really don't feel like I can stay in my house and accomplish the things I want to. I also don't have the money or lots of support outside my family to move out on my own but am willing to do whatever it takes to get out. Can anyone give me any advice on how to deal with this? |
Question: How do I tell her that I'm sorry her dad died? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:25 PM PST This girl I started talking, I just found out her dad died last year. Being that it was about a year and a half ago, I wouldn't want to make her cry or anything like that, but I want to give her my condolences. |
Question: Moms shouldnt celebrate themselves on fathers day...? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 05:45 PM PST one thing that moms like to say is i was the father and mother for my kids. i understand its hard because im a mom myself but that just means you were a very hardworking mom. lets not forget there are single dads out there. it just annoys me when moms want to take over fathers day. why do some moms think this way? then single dads can celebrate mothers day then?? |
Question: My mom went out to a "friend's" house all night? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 05:42 PM PST She isn't like that. She never ever stayed out all night. My dad was up all night and I got a call after my shift saying my mom is missing. She didn't tell anyone where she was or what she was doing, she didn't have a car with her, we had no contact at all. I wake up and she's ere and my dad said "idk ask her she was at a friend's house". I recently found out see has a secret social media page that is so hidden we cannot find it. I also found out she is on anti-depressants. Some guy came to the door a week ago and asked for her and she claimed she didn't know who he was. I think it's quite obvious at this point she's cheating. But as her son, how do I treat her or deal with the situation? This isn't like her, she has never done anything like this before |

Question: I think I’m being really awkward? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 04:46 PM PST So on my dads side of the family I say hello to everyone my uncles my grandparents. I give them hugs. But on my moms side of the family it's really awkward, I see my cousins I don't really know what to do. Same with my uncles except one. Question: How to get my family to trust me? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 04:05 PM PST I'm a lesbian and once the word nonbinary was on my screen and my mom asked what it was I explained it and she was like "well why were you looking at it" and a few days ago my brother saw something on my screen he asked me what I was looking at and I was something about being LGBTQIA+ so he and my mom kept asking questions and I lied and whenever I use my iPod they ask what I'm looking at and a lot of times it's LGBTQIA+ stuff so I'll lie and change the tab because they'll always look but they'll get pissy and yell at me and act like I was doing something bad. A lot of times my mom will be like "what are you looking at" and if I don't answer instantly my brother will be like "are you going to answer or what" and then my mom will be like "what are you hiding from me" how do get them to trust me again without outing myself? |

Question: What are the odds of winning custody of my niece? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:53 PM PST So long story short my brothers girlfriends dad sexually touched my 6 year old niece. My brother still does not believe anything even after my mom took it to the Steve wilko show and he failed the lie test. They live in a little trailer where my my niece shares a couch to sleep on with his girlfriends 3 year old son. The girlfriend may somewhat care about my niece but from what I have seen of her she does not love her I mean after a year of being in my brothers life she got mad at me for buying my niece clothes and not her son when my niece stayed the night with me and they packed dirty clothes that didn't fit. She just turned 7 and they finally just put her in school this year. Me and my husband live in a nice 4 bedroom house so we definitely have space I do work full time but my sister lives in my neibourhood with her family and she is a stay at home mom my whole family is willing to watch her while I work and we live in a good school district my niece that lives in my neibourhood is the same age and they are best cousins but ever since this we have not been aloud around my niece. I just want to get her out of that and help her especially away from that sicko. What are the odds of me winning? I don't want to take her from her dad just take her till he gets his crap right and puts that guy in jail. If you have seen the show my brother does not stuck up for his little girl. |
Question: How Do I teach someone a lesson to not get my stuff anymore.? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:50 PM PST My brothers girlfriend is always getting my stuff like my personal care products my blow drier my face mask and I'm sick of it. She always makes a huge deal when we use her stuff and tells my brother and my brother tried fighting with us about it. I feel like I can't tell my brother because he will take it the wrong way and begin fighting with me. I wanna teach her a lesson about respecting people's things.ive even gone to the point of writing my name on things that are mine. What Can I do to teach her a lesson. I was thinking get one of my face mask bottles and mix it with poison ivy and just leave it there and if she uses it well it will be her fault but I was thinking that's not a good idea but I wanna do something a long those lines any suggestions ? Please help I'm so fed up of her using my things. Any thing I can use that may temporarily harm her a bit just to show her how she shouldn't get other people's things. |

Question: What should I act like? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:30 PM PST I just want some advice on how to be around my grandparents who just lost a child for the second time and cousins(my recently passed uncles children) by the time the funeral comes around. Thanks |
Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:27 PM PST My uncle passed away very suddenly, leaving behind my 6th and 3rd grade cousins. When we go to his funeral I will see them, and I just want advice on how to act around them. A bit about them might help with advice —6th grade:boy, quite a spaz, angers easily, very smart and lives in his own world 3rd grade: girl, sweetheart, daddy's girl, gets upset over pretty much nothing, attached easily, very smart. They are both very different and I hope a little bit about them helps you tell me how to act around both and each individually. Thanks so much, very hard time for the family. |
Question: How do I limit my grandmothers anger that I'm not coming to Thanksgiving? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:18 PM PST It's my mom's mother and I'm not going to be there cause I'm going to be with my father. |
Question: I know a secret about my friend that she doesn t know about? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 03:18 PM PST So I found out 4 years ago by my friends family member that she is the product of an affair and everyone knows about it except her. At this point both of her parent are dead and she is 19 and thinks she has no family when in reality she has another dad and a few more siblings. I know it s not my place but her family has sick and twisted morals, lot of cheating that goes on with her siblings she knows about and substance abuse. She views me and my family as her only other family, I want to tell her the truth but it s hard and I know it s not my place but it honestly kills me knowing she doesn t know about these other family members. Her unbiological grandmother would even take her to her half siblings place of work often to get them bear each other but this girl has no idea. So there are signs that her grandmother wants her to know but hasn t said anything due to respect for her parents but what if in the future she has medical problems and needs a kidney or something? I know, long shot but it happened to my cousin, it could happen to everyone. I m just torn with her mom and unbiological dad dying. |
