Married for over 2 years. The first year I had our child and lived alone due to him being very horrible to me when I stayed with him. During that year my husband cheated on me. I found this out when we moved in together. I also caught him watching porn. I'm married since 15 years. Few days ago, my husband discovered I had an affair with my boss for 7 years. He also discovered that he's not the father of our younger son. He wants to divorce.I love him. I don't want to lose him.

One thing that attracted me to my husband many years ago was the fact that he wasn't out in the streets and he was very active in his church. Fast forward some 15 years and he's now taken on several new positions and really has risen in the ranks. Well, he's now the Sunday School Superintendent, Trustee, Deacon in training, and key holder to the building, along with being one of the pastor's right hand men. We have Watch Night services this coming Sat and then regular services again Sunday morning. I'm the type of person who once service is over goes straight to my car and I'm ready to leave. My husband likes to stand around and talk for a few minutes. He sometimes has to make sure things are back in order or see if the pastor needs anything. We're usually one of the last ones to leave. Our church recently moved out of the city we live in and when we were in our city I'd drive my own car and could leave when I wanted to. Now that we're some 25 miles away he says it makes no sense to drive 2 cars that far going to the same place. Again, with services Sat night we usually feed breakfast afterwards for the New Year. I told him I didn't want to stay for breakfast because we've gotta turn around and be back in church at 11 AM. We're usually done with Watch Night services right after midnight then breakfast usually takes about an hour. My husband said that we're not going home after the service and will be staying to get a meal first. He told me that it seems as if I don't want to be at that church anymore and with growth comes more responsibility. He's very active and very busy. When I ride with him I have to go to Sunday School because he has to be there as the Superintendent. Again, he told me I needed to find a church that only held service for an hour and never did anything out of the ordinary. He said that this year Watch Night falls on a Sat which is rare so it's not like we're doing this every year. I admire his dedication but it's killing me. He said we could iron clothes for regular service before we leave for Watch Night so that way that's one less thing we have to do when we wake back up. Plus he said it's not like we're going to be in service all afternoon. The pastor will probably only hold 11 AM service for an hour or then we'll be back home. My husband said that I could rest all Sunday afternoon then then we're both off Monday so he doesn't see the problem. Is he trying to kill me with the church dedication or is he forcing me to find another church? He literally told me that I needed to find a church that maybe wasn't so actively involved. Please understand that church is very important to me and my husband but I really just don't want to hang around for breakfast after the midnight service. I don't want to drive myself so it's like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
