Since I'm currently out of school for Christmas break, my parents decided to take me to my uncle's house in a different state and spend 3 days there. They also have a cute little baby girl, who is 20 months old, and I really wanted to visit her. One morning, I woke up, and my uncle was also awake, but he asked me to go into his bedroom and see if the baby was still sleeping. So, I opened the bedroom door a little bit, saw the baby still sleeping, but I also saw my aunt in there... without any shirt or bra on! I stood there for about 3 seconds and immediately closed the door as she turned around. Holy crap, I'm glad that she didn't see me. But yeah, I'm a girl and I saw my aunt-in-law half-naked. What the heck?! I'm 15, if you were wondering. Nobody knows about this. She's 25, I think. It was soooo awkward! No, I don't have gym class and I have never before seen another female half or fully naked. I have band instead. I play the trumpet actually, not that it's important or anything. I'm sorry. One night he caught me having sex at our town park with a man. I was 17 at that time,he was 18. This happened about some days before our high school graduation in 2004. We weren't together so I had the right to do that. He was hurt however and just ran away. I tried to talk to him at school in the days afterwards but he would just ignore me. He joined the marines that summer and died in action in Iraq in the winter of 2005 at the age of 19. Now after 10 years that he left this world I still get sad that we ended our friendship because of that and that I will never be able to fix it. I was thinking about going to lay flowers to his grave but I don't know if I can. Plus I was not cheating on him but I just miss him during this time of year and to know the way he died makes me cry loud. Should I just visit his grave? Posted: 28 Dec 2016 04:09 PM PST my parents are so strict compared to everyone i m friends with. i m a freshman in high school, and they re not terrible, like i still do things but they re a bit much sometimes. i can only stay out for 4-5 hours at a time, sometimes they make exepetions but not often. that means on weekends, i sit home until 6:30 and then i m only allowed out until 10:00-10:30. fine, i can deal with that. but i ALWAYS have to get picked up by my mom. she never lets me get a ride which can be annoying because it s embarrassing sometimes. they don t let me sleep absolutely anywhere, which means i miss out on all sleepovers and vacations my friends go on together. they never let me at boys houses when all my friends are allowed to go. if it s night, i ALWAYS have to be at a house. i cant walk anywhere if it s dark. all these rules are resulting in me lying to my parents about where i am, which i absolutely hate doing but if i want to continue to keep my friends i have to cause i can t do anything. it s gotten to a point where i feel so depressed over it cause im scared i won t be able to maintain friendships. it s little stuff now, but it s gonna get worse. they won t listen to me when i try to reason with them. i don t look forward to weekends/days off because it stresses me out cause when we have to make plans, i can t do anything. i feel like a burden to my friends and i can t put up with it. 8 can t express how sad it makes me. does anyone have any advice? |

I thought they were too quiet and reserved, but I have now learned that it was completely wrong for me to say that about them. When they are around their mom (my aunt), they sit down at one spot and just stare off into the ceiling, not talking, laughing or anything. Yet, when they are around others and without their mom around, they talk and play a lot. I showed them my bedroom, and we had a really good time talking about music, tv shows, and books that we liked. We played rock, paper, scissors and sang songs together. I understand that their mom wants to raise to be obedient, respectful children, but I think it's too much. They're 16 and don't have a computer or phone, have to go to sleep at 10 every single night (even on the weekends), can't have a social media account, and have to go to summer school even though they both have 4.0 GPA! They can't even go to buy smoothies at 7 p.m with my older cousins, who are 23 and 25! Every parent wants their child to succeed and be respectful, but I think everyone, young or old, has a playful, mischevious side to them. My cousins surely do. I'm not saying their mom should let them smoke weed, drink alcohol, or go clubbing. Just let them be themselves. If they want to socialize with their cousins, let them do it. If they want to listen to their favorite songs and sing, then let them do it. Don't force them to sit at one place and shut their mouth. I'm not the only one who thinks this way. She didn't react well at all, she kept texting him for a while asking for him back, telling him how lonely she was, but then she stopped. I only found out later that she'd been texting him even after we got together and we talked about it, and he said that he would tell me from now on when this happens. 6 months later, a few days ago I saw a few messages from her again (I had his phone for a few mins and we have a pretty open relationship, so I don't mind him using my phone and viceversa). She was texting him again, asking him about their break-up again, asking him if he thinks his life is better without her... And I know he talked to her, too, only he didn't say anything about it. He knows I don't like her and the fact that he doesn't talk about this with me makes me feel bad, because I'd like to know about the stuff that bothers him (and trust me, at times he used to be really bothered by her texts). If I didn't see the messages, I wouldn't even have known they talked, ans it makes me wonder why he wouldn't tell me, especially as this has happened before. |

I have this online friend who I've known for about 4 months. We talk on skype a lot and have met once in real life (we'll meet again in the beginning of January). She's a really great and amazing person, never says bad things about others and is never mean or selfish. After I've mer her I've gained a lot of confidence. I used to be super insecure and never talked to anyone, thinking that people will find me annoying. Now I've finally realized that there are people who actually care about me. She tells me how nice and good-looking I am, and I tell her it back, truly meaning everything I say. Sometimes I just feel like our whole friendship is based on complimenting each other. My friend is depressed and I try my best to make her realize how amazing she actually is. I stay up with her on the phone during late nights when she can't sleep or is crying because she feels so horrible. She tells me that it helps a lot. But I just can't help but to think that she does the same thing for me. Am I really her friend because of her personality or because she makes me feel less insecure? I mean, I know that that's a part of friendship of course, but we haven't gotten to know eachother that well im other ways. I don't want to be using her just to feel good about myself, I want to actually be her friend. I just don't know how. |

I can't make any male friends because they all just want to sleep with me. And if I don't sleep with them they make up things about me to other people then other ppl dislike me. Other women Don't like me for no reason.. And it's onsight. People push me away. People don't talk to me or contact me, unless I contact them. I don't do anything to anyone. I'm a honest person, so I do self reflection and I learned that I'm not doing anything bad to people. This feels so bad. Why is this happening? |

Posted: 28 Dec 2016 05:31 AM PST Last summer I started playing basketball so I could get stronger(I have a weak body as I've been sick like..all my life)I went there and I started to play basketball but I wasn't really good and got exhausted very fast.There was a girl who was better than everyone else as she had been playing basketball for a long time.The couch always put me in a team with her and she was very mean with me.She always insulted me bcz I wasn't as good as her and when I was in team with her..unfortunately...One day I went late there and we started dribbling and I admit that I was terrible.She always made fun of me and my name(my name is Gabriella by the way).I acted like I didn't care but there was a day that I couldn't stand her anymore and wanted to punch her but there was a boy who told me not to listen to her..or when she told me why was I so bad at basketball,I told her bcz I am a begginner but I am doing my best....I was getting better but by my poor health it was a bit difficult to keep up with others.That girl went to Italy for a week so I thought it'd be alright..but I was wrong.The other day her friend came and she was just like her...she didn't only make fun of me but she also hit me in my back and it really hurted.I am an introvert.It was terrible,I didn't wanted to play basketball anymore but I still went there bcz I don't like to give up,but I can't even count how many times I've cried bcz of them.I want to go there even this summer but idk if I should..What should I do? |
