Posted: 23 Dec 2015 07:28 PM PST I had my first relationship with one of my good friends and she ended it because we were often unsure (we weren't communicating well) and it was affecting her grades (we texted all day every day) both problems that have solutions. She is one of my best friends. It's been a couple months and I can't get over her, and want to give it another chance, since we've been on good terms all year, even after the split. She told me she wasn't really a fan of romance after the split, but her idea of romance is not very accurate. By the way she is huge about grades, she usually pulls straight A+ report cards. It's also important to mention that she has gotten over me. So there's my question, should I ask her out again? |

I'm celebrating Christmas Eve with his family and we are both going back Christmas day to celebrate with my family. My boyfriend asked me if I wanted to open his gift to me tomorrow or to wait and I said to wait for the celebration with my family. But then I thought about it again and asked my mom and she had a fit. She yelled at me saying that she wanted my boyfriend and I to open the gifts with them so that it's like we're a family and I said, we would be opening gifts, we'd give our gifts to them and their gifts to us, it would just be his gift to me and my gift to him that he and I would open early tomorrow on Christmas eve with only the two of us. And then she started yelling, "WELL FINE WHY DON'T I JUST NOT WRAP THE GIFTS AND WE JUST HAND IT TO EACH OTHER LIKE WHATEVER TOMORROW BEFORE YOU TWO LEAVE. Unfortunately, after signing himself out, his ex-social worker withheld him from seeing his little brother who is still in the system to this day. They can't talk to each other, visit, or anything. And it really hurts to see this happening, especially since I have 4 siblings that I get to see everyday. Can someone tell me what we can do to get this resolved? |

Slowly getting to know her more and more, getting social media accounts, and finally even getting her number. At this point, we text everyday, but today I called her regarding something, and ended up talking for 4 hours. While talking, it seemed like she was really happy I was talking and being with her over the phone (asked questions about each other, gave each other permission to jokingly stalk each others social media etc). About an hour in, she started talking about a guy who she thought was hot (sent me a pic of him, he's in a relationship), and waiting for my reaction on what i thought on him, then talked about other guys who were texting her (trying to hang out). So at this point, I was like, ok she's talking to other guys, and likes other people. She then kept going on jokingly about how do they have the right to talk to her (jokingly not really meaning it). At this point, I said I'll let you talk to them etc, then I jokingly said I didn't have the right to talk to her, I'll hang up. Quickly after, she said no I like talking to you. Is she really comfortable with me, or does she like me? |

He hasn't asked me out, but he has been very nice to me and I can tell he's trying to be as kind as possible. We don't have any classes together this year but I still talk to him. He doesn't act moody or anything. I feel less awkward then I did before, and he makes me feel comfortable. He stares at me when he sees me, sometimes he smiles, and usually waits for me to approach him. He also waits outside his class to see me so I can talk to him. He makes me so happy, but I told him I liked him in a note, I didn't even say it in person.... (I meant I feel less awkward talking to him.) |

I was with my group of friends one day and noticed that girl staring at me. I thought nothing of it, until that time turned into months with her still staring. I made attempts to talk to her, but she sounded monotone and was always in a hurry. Her friends always stared at me. I messaged her one day and she told me that she had a be and did not want to talk. I made it very clear that I just wanted to be friends. But she still went on about having a bf and other stupid things. . she seemed kind of arrogant so I left it. I did happen to see her with someone, maybe a "bf" but idk. Now she gives me these looks.. She always used to be around his arm when I happened to see her, but now they never appear together. She's always alone. Idrc what happened with them, I'm just kind of tired of dealing with it and don't really have the energy to do anything. However after the last 6 months things have not been going very well and I doubt I'm going to marry my fiancé. About 3 months ago, I met a guy who was in town visiting on business. He ran a conference at the Hotel where I am in charge of business events and conference rooms booking. We started talking and it was like I knew him for a long time. He was only in town for a couple days (we never saw each other outside his conference, so no dating or sex or anything like that, we just talked during his breaks.) But, when he left he gave me a hug and wish me good luck with my impending marriage. He smelled so good! I never thought I would see him again as he lives in another state, but I thought about him and our conversations a lot. Last month he was in town again giving another conference. I was so surprised! When I saw him he actually came over to me. We spoke again and to tell you the truth I've never had feelings like this, but I've been thinking about him all the time, day and night. He says he'll be back in town in a few months for another conference. Should I approach him when he returns or is this just some chance acquaintance, and I should just let it go? I know my engagement is over (which is a lot of what we talked about, and also his life). So, I am free to do what I want. I just do not know how or if I should approach him about my feelings. |
