She claims that it is ingrained in her to abstain from sex until marriage and has demanded a nonsexual relationship from me on numerous occasions. She has even put me down for being sexually aroused by her! My girlfriend! She says that she will finally be ok with having sex with me when we get married but I am not sure. What can I do? We have agreed on having a sexual relationship with some limitations but she reneges on the agreement a month or so after we make it and demands to go back to having a nonsexual relationship like "god wants for us." Another bit of info for you guys is that she has cheated on me twice before and blamed it on the devil. After I said to her that i dont believe that, she said that it was because of us having a sexual relationship; BC we had sex she was open to have sex with any other guy. So she afterward demanded we have a nonsexual relationship to bring us closer to god. Now I am starting to look at other women.(not bc I truly want to but BC I haven't had any sexual contact in over 2 months.) Since I was going alone, I got an extra ticket so my boyfriend could come with me. So he and I could do something fun together and also so he could see his first hockey game. Anyways, he's from Jamaica so he's not a fan of hockey and he says he doesn't want to go because it looks boring. Anyways, he's never seen it before so how would he know. I've tried many things that he's interested in that I thought was boring, I hated some of them after trying it but I also loved some of them. Such as track, he does spring track and he convinced me to do it with him last year because it's the only sport we could do together because he does football and wrestling while I'm on the swim team and was on the basketball team. I thought track would be boring but I gave it a try, I was really good at it and I enjoyed it som much that I even quit basketball to do indoor track. | Question: How/where can I find love in college? Posted: 31 Dec 2015 06:18 PM PST Since ending my freshman year of college, I've been trying to open myself up to the possibility of a relationship. On a friendly level, I feel that I've been successful since I've made some of the best friends (both men and women) that I've ever met. I haven't seen any progress with romantic relationships, however. There was this girl in one of my classes who I suspect found me attractive (she would look at me all the time in class), but I was too nervous to act upon that other than through friendly conversation. I'm not interested in the bar/frat/party scene, and I'm not interested in short flings that don't lead to any real relationships. I want a relationship with a woman that is based on trust, mutual respect, and compatibility (physical attraction is nice, too, but for me, it only follows after the first three). I've never held hands with a girl, been on a date (even as a date to a dance), or had a romantic relationship with a woman, and I feel like I'm missing out on something. I'm told that I'm attractive and intelligent, but I'm at a complete loss when it comes to relationships. Am I looking in the wrong places? Am I maybe too uptight? I want to enjoy myself in the remainder of my college years before I have to take on "real world" responsibilities (I'm a sophomore in engineering). I don't know where to start given my lack of experience, and I don't really want to wait much longer (and certainly not until I'm 30 or something like that). What am I doing wrong? I'm also not interested in online dating because I don't trust sites like that, and I believe that meeting someone in person would lead to a more meaningful relationship. |

We dated almost for 4 years and now we are in a long distance relationship. This morning (new years morning in my country ) I said good morning to him and asked what he is doing and (it's new years eve there ) he said he is at a bar celebrating some kinds of singles party because his parents want him to find an American girl. I thought this joke was very hurtful because not being together on new years eve or new years day is already sad and it just hurt my feelings so much so I yelled at him but he thinks it's a typical American joke and I just don't get it. From my experiences in us, I think it is inappropriate but I don't have many American friends and this is my very first time dating someone who is not from my country.
