My best friend just moved to Georgia an I'm feeling really lost without her.

If a friend called you a "retard" to your face, even in a situation of her being frustrated that you didn't know the answer to something she asked, and she never apologizes for it after you explain to her that she hurt you when she said that, would you in a feeling of anger at how insensitive she was send her a birthday card in the mail that says "You're a Retard and a *****" just to teach her a lesson and let her see how it feels to be on the receiving end of such an insult? Would you do it for revenge? I asked this because one friend of mine is considering doing that because a friend of hers called her a retard and she's mad. The letter will be anonymous, but she wants to do that and then stop talking to her "friend" from then on. What are your thoughts? Should she go through with it?

Besides joining clubs & sports... like at parties, dances, football games, basically social events. So how can I make friends there?

I always invite him over, his mom makes him come without knowing what i do when he comes, i hit him and stand on his back to make sure he doesnt tell and when he promises i start hitting him i put my hand in his throat and beat him. I force him to do my homework and all my chores. I also kick him to the floor. He cries all the time and wishes he could go back home and when he cries i jump on his back and put my hand in his butt and pinch. How would i torture him more give a long and detailed answer

I recently moved to australia from us, and back in Murica I never really said mate. or any of the slang you folks have out here, not even as a joke or anything, and I figured it would be the same here. and when I first got here it was. but then, I made some friends and most of the friends. I had used the words mate and gents a a lot and then after a few weeks. I guess from just talking to them I just randomly said "Hey Mate you ******* ready" (cause he was taking a long ******* time) without even thinking and now, I use it probably about as much as they do I mean this has happened before with friends I've had in school, but normally I would lose the vocab after a few days, but with them for some reason it just sticks? And Idk how I feel about it never was really a fan of the word mate any advice on how to lose it or you think I should just keep it cause I'm here anyways?

my friend julissa comes over once in a while with her friend Kathy . I have no problem with them coming over . The problem is julissa has an issue of respecting people. For example, if she and her spouse get in to an argument, then she will slap him or hit him. Also, She will make fun of me . I don't take it personal . So I do it back at her just to mess around. Then she will make fun of me even more and then she throws her keys at me , or she will throw a pillow at me and she will think it's funny. I do not do anything to her because I don't hit girls . My roommate and i have been getting along really fine until one day. We live for 3 wks so fine with no arguments until i heard him talk behind my back to the other tenants in the apartment. Interestingly one of the girls i liked was there and he knew this ! He told them that i always keep the apartment in a mess and there are worms and stuff all over the place. I don't keep the apartment in a mess. I put all my stuff in the thrash. The only bad thing i don't do is take the thrash out all the time because i travel very long distances due to my job therefore i don't get the time to come home and take out the thrash and do other things. He knows this but yet he still talked behind my back. Afterall i've done for him such as wash his dirty wares, clean the apartment (mop and sweep), clean his washroom, cared for him when he was sick, cleaned his vomi* and tidy the place up he comes and do this. I no longer have any interests in speaking to him but i don't want to make living here awkward as it my home(nest) . I already asked my dad to get me a new apartment due to other reasons but he doesn't want me to move out. What do you think i should do about this ? Also what do you think about this roommate ? i would really like to move out.

for homecoming, my close friend, A, and I are going to get our hair done together before. However, afterwards, I am going to a sleepover with different friends who are also close with A. But my friend, B, who is hosting the sleepover is mad at A and so she didn't invite her. I don't know how to handle this situation. Should I tell her or just not go to get my hair done with her because I'll feel super guilty.

Ive known my friend for about 10yrs. She got married 3 yrs ago. I dont know him that well because they moved for his job right after the wedding. I flew to come visit her for the weekend. My friend, her husband, his friends and myself went drinking. Ive only went drinking a few times before this. We ended up back at their house and played a drinking game. I can only remember bits and pieces. I passed out in the bathroom and the husband woke me up with his hand down my pants. I didnt fight it and I did whatever he said without question. I think he had to keep waking me up but Im not sure. I had too much to drink and my friend said he doesnt usually get that drunk. I cant figure out if i should tell her or not? My sister is in 7th grade and in middle school. She happens to be really shy/quiet and has no friends. She also has a habit of daydreaming, staring off into space, and thinking out loud. Last year, a boy in her class [Aaron] went around telling others that she stares at him and that [he thinks] she likes him. A girl talked about her to Aaron's best friend [Jack] right in front of her and then giggled; she even has insisted, "We KNOW that you like Aaron!" altho it's completely false. A girl my sister was friendly with sneered once, "Lauren, Aaron doesn't like you 'cuz you stare at him!" She has come home crying before several times last year, and last March her English teacher complained to her in private that her grade is going down. During a face-off with him last June, another girl she was friendly with smiled at her smugly; when she explained something, Aaron repeated what she said in a high-pitched voice while exaggerating her posture. Aaron & Jack are in her class AGAIN this year! And Aaron's continuing to tell their classmates that she stares at him despite the fact that she NEVER did it at all this year. A classmate yelled at her in the hallway, "Don't look at me!" right after Aaron whispered something to him; and that same kid has tried to stay away from her since. In English class, Jack said to her, "Aaron told me to tell you that you're ugly." When she and Aaron passed by each other in the hallway going opposite directions, he briefly looked at her and said, "Freak!" Another boy who Aaron told started throwing paper balls at her during Reading class. Last week in the hallway, Aaron yelled from afar when she (at first) wasn't paying attention, "Lauren, quit staring at me!" and then most of the kids who were around him laughed. After she came home from school today, I spotted her sitting on the couch, crying hard but silently. So, I went up to her to ask her what was wrong. She explained everything. When I asked her if she ever notified her counselor, she said she did but the counselor just kept thinking that Aaron has a crush on her altho Lauren KNOWS he hates her but the counselor just kept repudiating it. Is my sister being bullied in school?

I had a bad experience working with this classmate. We are now classmates again and recently she asked "how did you do on the presentation for the other class because I dropped it".

So basically, me and my friend are in grade 10 and this girl is in grade 11. For some reason we have same class together. The class we take dont have many girls, and have 2 grade 11 girls. Whenever me and my friend try to do something, she awkwardly just join us and talk to us. She would constantly ask for our snapchat, and makes jokes that are not funny. I dont mind her being there, but the problem is.... SHE FOLLOWS US IN LUNCH, RECESS, AND EVERY FREE TIME. She will just join into our conservation... and its kinda annoying. I have this friend and his older brother is either eighteen or nineteen. He is a freshman in college and I am a freshman in high school (though, technically speaking, I should be a sophomore). I really like him and I have heard about five people say to me that we would be good together. . . Nobody even knows that I like him. I'm a female teenager with mostly female friends. Recently, I became "friends" (I say that because she seems to think we're BFFS when I hardly consider her an aquaintance) with a girl who rides my bus and is in one of my PE classes. She is friends with several other of my friends. This girl is ALWAYS touching me. She's always trying to give me hugs, poke me, rest her head on me, hold hands, etc. I've to her multiple times to stop, backed away, and blocked her incoming hugs. I don't like it when anyone touches me, including my family members and close friends. Despite this, she keeps touching me. I don't want to hurt her feelings and whenever I tell her to stop, she gets this sad look on her face. How do I get her to stop?

I started nursing school in august and I have to live in the dorms because I live far away. Its a very small school and there are only about 20 girls in the dorm. Most came as friends from high school and already knew each other, so they really don't talk to me much. I am friends with the girl next to me, but the other group of girls is always asking her to go do things with them and she goes and i don't get an invite. I pretty much sit in my room alone all the time listening to them go out and have fun. I tried to be nice to them and tried to get included and they either walk away from me or act very disinterested. I hate the feeling of being excluded form everything. Please help!

Im a junior in high school and I went to a friends house the other night. We all drank a bit and smoked a little pot. My best friend and I were flirting a bit that night and we were giving each other massages and making each other drinks and food. We ended laying in a bed together and started making out, we then started feeling each other up and doing things to each other. The next day we went to the movies and saw a movie together with friends and cuddled. Ok so my friend lets say T texted me and said can I tell you something I said of course. She said the other night her cousin came in her room and touched her boobs rubbed her legs and butt then said he started putting his hand towards her vagina. Well she said she was scared and I believed her. I went to her house the next day because he was baby sitting her brothers and she was scared. My bestfriend stole two bottles of rum from my uncles and lied and said it wasn't him. I also had about 60 dollars go missing from me and he has the reputation of being a thief and a liar. He was suppose to be my bestfriend. How should I get him back? Should I contact him and tell him that I know or should I steal from him? (He doesn't know that I found out.)

This weekend I picked my friend up from work and we went to the mall. We ended up getting matching necklaces (which to be honest I didn't want to do because I don't really have money coming in, so I don't want to spend money) Any way, we decided to go to my place and make pizza. While we were making pizza she mentioned "Oh, I'll probably take some of this home because my sister would really like it." I didn't say much of anything, but I thought the comment was a little off and rude. After we had the pizza it was getting late and I guess she had things to do so she decided it was probably time to go home. She then asked if I had aluminum foil or something so she could take some of the pizza home. I never offered any of it. Not at any point did I offer for her to take some home. I don't really mind her taking it home, it's just that nobody offered her to take any of it. It was all her idea. While we were making the pizzas she kept calling the one pizza "her pizza." Like "Oh, I want to the cheese on my pizza." In my opinion it was rude. She only took 3 pieces home, but it only left my brother and I with 4 pieces and the rest of our family was coming home the next day. So there would be 5 of us with only 4 pieces of pizza. I dunno. Is that kind of common for people to do? I've never seen her do something like that before. But it could have been because when she's usually over my parents are there. We're still in our teens.

My family doesn't seem to really care about me and none of my brothers except one treat me nicely. My friends always abandon me or treat me horribly and I "annoy" them. I ask for help and that annoys them. I was told when growing up that if I needed help, I could ask. But it seems I'm just a burden and asking gets nowhere. I have to do everything myself. So I used to be friends with this girl (let's call her R). She liked my best friend and made him cheat on his girlfriend. R started being rude to me because she thought I was competition for him. R called me a piece of ****, an attention whore, etc. R was a bit rude to my 2 best friends too but it was mostly directed towards me. Then one of my best friends (let's call her E) decided to forgive her. R was barely rude to E, that's probably why E forgave her. Me and my other best friend (let's call her A) got the worst of R's attitude. So summer past and R and E hung out a lot. During the new school year R has been giving me so much attitude. This morning I saw her and I said good morning in a polite tone and she rolled her eyes and moved her seat. She told her new boyfriend (the one she made cheat on his gf) so many lies about me and now he hates me. She's stealing all my friends from me. She kept on making racist remarks towards me and she kept on saying how native americans don't deserve money from the government and stuff like that (I'm 1/16 native american). I'm honestly on the edge. I feel like she's tricking E into thinking she's a good person. I don't know what to do. A part of me wants to slap her, go to the office and report her, tell a teacher I'm close to, or just stop bottling my emotions up when she says mean things and just speak my mind. All of the things she says makes my depression and self esteem even worse. Please help me. What do I do?

Ok so I owe a friend $15. Its not a lot but I ended up forgetting to pay him back on time so when he saw me he freaked out on me. I didn't have his money when he freaked out but my other friend said he would pay it for me and I could just get it to him whenever. Well my friend tries to pay for me and the other friend said he didn't want him to pay for me and that he would only accept money that was mine. Why is he so worked up over $15? He was offered the money literally only a day late?

My friend wants to come to the beach with my family, but we live in different states. And she can't drive herself and her parents aren't coming with us

I am so scared. My sister now attends my high school and there are these two guys on the bus that won't leave me alone (they think I'm their friend) and one of them hasnt met her yet. They know where I live, and they won't stop coming to my house. One of them said they want to take a picture of my sister. That really freaked me out. Also at school I always talk about how I watch porn and I'm scared to death that someone will tell my sister. I keep telling them to stop coming to my house but they don't get it. I've talked about porn since 5th grade and there's never been a problem and I might be overthinking this but What do I do? My sister will be taking my bus in mid October and those guys and everyone else will be on it.

It seems like everywhere I go I see people trying to look their best, buying really expensive clothes and makeup. I know non of my bussines but it bothers me cause looks aren't everything. I am currently a senior in high school and I have had 5 different friend groups. I kept leaving the group and joining another because I always felt that although our personalities clicked and were similar and I treated everybody equally and actually joined in on conversation, I always felt left out. They would just organize outings and I was never invited, they would never text me and when I texted them it would turn into some dry convo.... when I tried to organize outings (like to the mall) nobody would be available or nobody would respond. I know that is not how a friendship is meant to be that is why I kept leaving the "group" and finding another where I felt we were friends. My "friends" would always act like I was welcome but if that is only at school and you never text or invite that person anywhere I don't think that is a valid friendship. I really don't understand why it is so hard for me to fit in. And how is it possible that the EXACT SAME THING happens from EVERY PERSON IN EVERY GROUP? I only deviate from a group when I have been with them for a YEAR and I see no change (only in freshman year I had 3 different groups). Right now I am still with my "friends" even though the whole of summer none of them contacted me even when I tried to contact them and everybody was talking about what they did and they did go out together. It is a group of 8 (including me) and it is not like all 7 went out each time but 4 people were talking of how they went to see 2 movies this past summer

He is mad because I forgot to pick him up to school. And now he refuses to talk to me because I forgot him. He has "forgotten " me many times and when I did and this was the first time... he got very mad. He has ditched me many times saying he's coming and never do... and now he's mad. Before I turned 6 years old, I used to smile and have fun in my own little world. But my childhood ended when I was 6 years old - I witnessed my first death (my mother lied about my grandmother dying and said she was sick) and I witnessed my parents divorce. Since then, my parents were very bitter, I had to put up with it, my half-brother abandoned me when I needed him most, my sister had a dominant egotistical nature, and I barely was able to maintain any friendships. Most of my friends would leave and betray my trust (even a former HS ex-girlfriend). I barely smile now. I walk to where I need to go alone. I have a few good friends now (20 male), but my new best friend wonders why I barely smile at all. I don't want to force a smile. I only smile when I'm having fun with a group. Other than that, I don't smile. Am I just a doomed angry asshole, or...?

One of my best friend's is getting back involved with her ex who is a total jerk and who's screwed her over so many times. In the past he's cheated on her, lied to her, manipulated her, mentally abused her, and disrespected her. He even has a girlfriend right now, who he left my best friend for in the past. Well now she's talking to him again, despite him having a girlfriend, and she keeps insisting that they're just hanging out, just friends, and that she has no feelings for him. But the other day I found a condom in her trash can and I asked her about it and she admitted that she had sex with him, even though she told me before that they didn't. And then when I asked her if she had feelings for him, she told me she didn't. But a few days later he did something that hurt her feelings and she admitted to me that she actually does have feelings for him. I asked her why she keeps lying about their relationship to me and she said that it's because she knows in her head that he's bad for her but her heart tells her to be with him and she doesn't think other people understand that. She also said that she doesn't want to be judged by me if she tells me that they're getting back together. It upsets me so much that she's even considering taking this a**hole back, but it also upsets me and insults me that she would lie to me about it. Should I be mad that she lies to me about it? How can I get her to understand that I'm not gonna judge her?

Hey peeps.. I have a friend that I hang with all the time for the past year and we get on great, but she has an issue when I hang with other people who are not her and makes comments via text message that basically let me know she is annoyed for when I see her next. I'm an 11 yr old girl and one week ago i got into a fight with my BFF and she turned every one of my frends against me and i had only 1 guy frend who didn't turn against me, and the kicked me out of our squad. I felt like i was the saddest person in the world but today i tried to apoligize to my ex- BFF ( i dont know how to spell apoligize ) and she said that we will talk and stuff but she said that we will never be BFF's again at that momment i wanted to cry but thank god i didn't. And my ex- close frends from the squad do talk to me but i'm not close with them at all there more like fake frends and the other kids from my grade well i don't like them i tried to fit in with them but i can't and honestly i don't want to be frends with them. I want to cry and runaway when i see them laughing in class and i'm here sitting with peopple i don't like what should i do. Help!? Please 9

We've been dating for weeks now. He's on vacation with his family to Ireland. Today is my birthday. I told him 3 days ago that my birthday was on Monday (today) which he was like "Your birthday is on Monday? Awesome! Happy early birthday! " Today, He texted me this morning, "Happy birthday!!!" . I don't know if it is a red flag if he doesn't wish me happy birthday by calling me. He probably was notified on Facebook that it was my birthday.

I'm 13, recently people have been telling me I shouldn't whine or talk about my problems to my friends or family, that it will only push them away...I haven't talked to anyone about my problems in months and been taking it out on myself, I can't go to a doctor for this because my parents won't take me they don't understand and they don't want me to be "labeled" so do I talk about them? Or no?

My best friend is having surgery on her face to remove a mass and I want to make a playlist of songs for her that all tell her that she's beautiful. Just something to boost her confidence since she's struggling with that right now. Nothing about makeup if possible. All genres are fine. No cuss words please. Thanks!

I am 21. He is 24. We got married about 7 months ago. I ask him something simple like if hes going to come with me and my family this weekend to an Amish farm for pumpkins and what not and these are the type of responses I get...Please look at the picture. I have no idea what to do. My "Guy" friend who I've known forever is not happy that he treats me like this and is promising me the world if i leave him. Says that there is no reason for him to talk to me like this...

I went to a trip to a different city with some of my university acquaintances for 3 days and I became friends with some of them. We returned back yesterday and I was feeling tired at that time & ill so I instantly went back to my home without saying bye to the girl who asked me to join and planned out the trip. Do you think it is okay? Or should I text her & thank her for trip? :)

A boy who I'm friends with in my new school said that I don't have a personality whereas my friend (who was there at the time) does have a personality. I feel really hurt but I didn't say anything when he said that. Does this mean people think I'm boring or I'm not excitable and how can I change? I'd like to be more like my friend and more confident a quirky and know what to say but how can I change?

So a couple friends and I were gonna have a party after homecoming and yes there would be a small amount of alcohol there (and no we aren't planning on being super obnoxious or driving while intoxicated!!) but there are rumors going around that a girl and a group of her friends are gonna call the cops before the party and give them the address and everything and basically just tell them to watch our house. I'm not sure why, maybe they're just jealous (and I don't see a reason for this because everyone was invited) or maybe they are just passionate about their morals?? (We go to a catholic school so I thought this might be a possibility) so I just want to know if I should confront this person about it or if I should talk to some of her closer friends, and maybe if you have any ideas of possible reasons why this girl is trying to get us busted!! (We are sorta friends so I'm confused as to why she would do this) and I want to know if you think we should even have the party and if we do, what would be some ways of avoiding being caught.
