Said she wasn't happy and didn't see a future with me, but she did 6 months ago. About a week later she started posting depressing stuff on facebook, like every night I try my best tomorrow makes it better, but I wake up and realize nothing has changed Later she contacted me and said she missed talking to me and would like to be friends still. I asked again why she broke up and this time said she has personal issues she needs to deal with on her own and can't be in a relationship with anyone. A couple days later she sees me hanging out with a girl on facebook and gets really mad, sends me a bunch of texts and deletes me. Later she calmed down and said I mean a lot to her and she has feelings We hung out as friends the other day. I kissed her and held her hand. She let me, but asked why I did and didn't think it was a good idea. The next day i told her we cant be friends, theres too many feelings, I like her too much She said to think about it. She would give anything to be friends and keep me in her life I told her I can't, it's dating or nothing She said maybe you're right, maybe it's too hard to be friends. I don't know what to say and am at a loss for words. I wish things didn't have to be so complicated I said me too, call me if you ever change your mind. She said just so you know I'm going to miss you, I'm going to miss everything we had I don't think she knows what she wants. She seems to have conflicting emotions and has no idea what to do. Well some of my friends in my class already have partners and i asked if i could do a group of three but both my friends but they said no. So i think ill just work alone, I don t have any other friends in that class and i don t fit with everyone else, I m kind of an outcast. Now there's a new girl in their class and they hate her. Why? No reason, like i said tey are stupid. We do a lot together, and I know that she really likes me because she asked me to room with her again next year. But she never asks me to go to bars or clubs with her. I have mentioned that I would really enjoy going out, but she never asks me to go with her when she does. Sometimes she won't even let me know that she will be out late, and when she does tell me it leaves no suggestion that it would be okay if I went with her. I guess that she may feel uncomfortable introducing me to some of her other friends, but she also wouldn't be a part of our main friend group if it weren't for me inviting her to do things with us. I guess I just feel insulted. I feel like she is really inconsiderate and selfish for never including me in anything when I always go out of my way to include everyone else. I don't think that I should confront her about it, but do you think that it makes sense that I am a little annoyed? Why wouldn't I be included? I've googled everything I can think of. I've managed to figure out which city he lives in (well, a short list of cities but I have my money on one in particular) by public arrest records. I don't even want his phone number, just an address so i can write the guy a letter. Though a phone number would be cool too. Halp :( I know there are websites designed for this but after reading reviews on several of them, I'm very skeptical and weary of them. I was thinking I could trick the water gas and light company into releasing the address, but I'm sure id need an account number first.. Can't find him in the white pages. Posted: 16 Mar 2015 04:10 PM PDT I've been on my pills, I've been on them for about a month and a half now and before I was on them I always use to have something to my friends; something juicy and big about my personal life, something that was bothering me. For example: I would tell them if my family got into a big fight and there was conflict for days... I would just tell them right after it happened and talked to them about it. But now... I'm more secluded, I never feel the need or the motivation to talk about stuff that has been bothering me. I've been going through so much crap again and the pills I am on are really helping I don't have random crying spells any more and my insomnia isn't something that gets to me very much, that and my appetite has increased incredibly. I feel more healthy and everything, but I know for certain bottling things up just isn't healthy either. To me, my heart or soul or whatever feels more closed like I feel like people don't need to be bothered with my problems anymore. I actually just wanted to write down how my day has been in the depths of hell on here but then I erased it and I was like... "Who even cares? lol." I feel like I was a spongebob with internal problems who slowly is morphing into a squidward who just doesn't care about anything anymore. Not even about my own problems, and it's been bothering me ever since I've been on my pills. Can someone please tell me from experience or anything of the sort what's happening to me? A week later she said she did, but that it was just a joke. Then she turned right around and called my bestie that told me a snitch. I got angry, but didn't say anything. After class that same day, she and her friend came up to me and my bestie and all I could hear was how you couldn't say anything infront of my bestie or she would snitch. By this time I was angry again and since I'm a pacifist, I stormed off arguing with myself about how they were in the wrong, not me and my bestie. The worst thing I said was they piss me off. They thought I was supposedly talking about the bully's friend (whom I have never even spoke to) and after I left the classroom after class dismissed, the friend went around telling everyone that I was talking trash about her. All my friends have told them to "shut up because she's not like that" even though I told them to ignore and forget it. They talked trash about me to my teacher and my friends. The people who used to sit around them have now left and moved to my side of the room voluntarily. They no longer talk to them because they know I don't talk bad about anyone. The thing is, they've started talking trash and lying about me to people in other classes and now people are coming up and asking if it's true because they thought I was a good person or they think it's funny to call me the mean word she called me the first time. Should I do something or just ignore it? |

My other friend in the class is being treated the same as me soley because of the fact that he sits with me and talks to me. His name is David. David and I have been talking about this and how the teachers in the class also treat us differently because of what they've heard from the other students. I don't talk anymore unless its to David. We came to the conclusion that IF the students and teachers of this class were provided with weapons and we were in the room defenselessly, they would kill us. So I asked a student I hadn't talk to before if she would kill me if she had a weapon and I was alone in the room. Without hesitation she says, "What kind of question is that of course I would." I look at her in disgust and she says "It wouldn't even be worth it to let you live. You're worthless." These words have been in my head since that happened earlier today and I've been alone in my room crying for the last 2 hours. I have no one to talk to about this. My mom died when I was 9 and my I never met my dad, I live with my aunt and uncle and my cousins. I've never been close to the people I stay with. I think Im suicidal, depressed, whatever. My friend said she could drive us all to the train station but i told her i would meet them at the train station since my mom isn't cool with teens driving teens :/ In my opinion a good friend would negotiate a good time we could all meet at the train station together to go. Without bothering to offer a time we could all meet up at the station she simply says, "you have to meet us in the city because we aren't waiting for you." I'm here thinking what kind of friend would think it's okay for me to get on a train alone and pray to god i find them in NYC where there will literally be a million people running around. My best friend and I text all the time but I haven't actually seen her for months. I spend all my time at home and I'm starting to feel like such a loser. She says if she smiles really hard she gets dimples which is stupid, and she says hers are the rare kind that form right near the corners of your mouth. I mean sometimes I just don't get her. She also has these fits of moodiness where she'll get angry after the stupidest things, like when her crush doesn't look at her. She gets angry if you don't agree with her. She's a hypocrite too because once she said her crush was a jerk because he liked that she cusses, then the next day she's talking about how sweet and nice her crush is. Even after all this I'm still her friend because we still have good times and laughs, but I just don't get how someone could be so dramatic? |

The other couples wife was always obese, I have always been thin. Recently the obese wife went on a huge diet and lost a bunch of weight. Her husband said to my husband that his wife now looks better than me in a bikini. He was watching his wife from inside the house getting into jacuzzi in the back yard and called my husband to come over and watch with him he also asked my husband if he appreciated looking at his friends new thinner wife while she was getting into the jacuzzi. I think it's wonderful that he is so happy about his wife's weight loss and doesn't notice all the loose skin but why insult your friends wife? In all the years of our friendship my husband has never said to his friend that is wife is the best looking. I'd like to know why. |

I am not scared of the moving part, but I am kinda scared about meeting new people. I even was beginning to have a foundation for a relationship with one of my closest guy friends's who will be attending there as well. Then I didn't get in. I got a bridge program. With my major it is incredibly hard to transfer with. Now, my best option is my 2nd choice school that is an hour and a half away. I won't know anyone and I have to start completely from scratch. It makes me mad because those shoes weren't free and she's acting like she didn't just take my ****. She's acting like she's not going to give it back and it's making me bad because she shouldn't have taken it there in the first place, and now I don't know what to do. |

I told her that they were being rude, and she called all the teachers from my team without any permission, and had them talk to my mom. She then told me she would deal with the kids who are spreading rumors. I told her about this issue several times, but all she did was say "ok, I will talk to them and settle things out" in a high, squeky voice. Then she made me hang out with a weird girl. She didn't even try "settling" things out, and she's probably having a good laugh about it. I'm really depressed. What should I do? |

I want friends, but I'm.afraid to make friends, so I distance my self from people and annoy them on purpose and come off as mean, so maybe they'll stop talking to me, so then there will be one less person to get attached to. Because I know I'd I actually talk to people, eventually I'll open up to them and then I'll get comfortable around them and then get attached and then they're gonna leave, like they always do, so I distance myself , and put on this act, so maybe they'll stop talking to me and leave before I get the chance to open up to them and get attached, but then I get pissed because I have no friends, and its an endless circle of this, I want a friend, people try to be my friend, but I push them away, and then it repeats itself, how do I stop. I know this isn't right what I'm doing, but I just don't want to risk getting attached and then having someone leave me, but no one likes me, and I know why, I don't want them to like me, but at the same time I do, and its all so confusing, and I don't know what to do. |
| Question: Friend on Verge of Death Help!? Posted: 16 Mar 2015 01:35 PM PDT So my bestfriend has a really rough past and shes taking hardcore drugs like coke again. It doesn't seem to faze her and she doesn't even seem affected at all by it. She won't take my advice on not taking them and does it behind her friends back. She's not an addict because she can go without it but she says she uses it to get rid of her problems. I'm afraid one day she'll overdose or do something stupid and die. Any help or suggestions ? |

Posted: 16 Mar 2015 01:18 PM PDT Why am I the friend that has to make every one of my friends feel better when they come to me with their problems? Why am I that person that needs to write them a six page essay on how they're amazing and perfect and why I love them and they should think differently, when I go to them with my problems, the response I get is "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that"? Are they only my friends for this reason? Why can't THEY see the tears and sadness I hide for THEM, so THEY don't have to ask me what's wrong. Just a couple of months ago my friend called herself fat, I gave her a good half an hour speech on how she should think otherwise and how she's amazing, yet just a few days ago, when I went to her to discuss my depression for the second time after a year, she sighs and replies with 'Again? You're always depressed!' and laughed it off as if it was a joke, so I did the same, I laughed it off with her so she wouldn't have to deal with my problems. But this isn't just one friend, this is EVERY SINGLE FRIEND I'VE EVER HAD. This is why I never tell my problems to anyone, this is why I feel so useless until someone is sad. I'm not suicidal, I don't cut, and if I don't, according to my friends, I'm not depressed. I go to one of my friends, thinking about this for weeks and finally gaining up the courage to tell her how I feel, and I told her "I never feel pretty, or smart, or useful. I need you help, please help me get over my depression, I beg of you." and her reply, as usual, was "Oh please, you're all those things! But you're not depressed, gosh..." Basically, my question is why am I that friend, do I have a certain attribute or something that makes them want to talk to me about their problems instead of others? Dear Greg, No, it's not a breath situation since; 1. I don't talk to a person 3 cm away from there face, we have a good distance where breath isn't smelt. 2. Then she called me out in the middle of the lesson and asked me who my partner was since I was just working by myself. I Took a long time to reply because I felt like I was going to stutter. Then I replied and said she's absent and then I was about to say something than stopped myself. Then she told me to get with a boy. Then some kids were laughing about something and I think it was the way I replied to the teacher. The Whole class were starring at me by the way. I knew they were laughing at me because one kid that was laughing with the other kids turned to me. I'm only 15 years old by the way. What do you think of this situation?? I feel embarrassed now. |

They had been throwing ice from recent storms at each other during recess. I did not want to be a part of this, and I wasn't. But then today, me and my friends stayed away from that ice because we didn't wanna be in the "war" but then the boys came over to us and started throwing ice at us so then they told us they had our friend (lets call her D) We ran to go get her but then one of the boys grabbed my shoulder and I was fine because he wasn't hurting me. I ran away from him, then another boy grabbed my arm, but he grabbed me and he was being overly rough, my whole arm still hurts. I then punched his arm (not too hard) and he let go, and I ran away from him. But then I ran right back into him because I was cornered and he got me again and I screamed at him "Don't touch me!" He still didn't let go so I punched his arm again and ran to my other friends.The other boys were surprised that he had touched me like that and my friends and I spoke to them about it all. They aren't going to do anything. While we were speaking to the other boys, my other friend told us that he had grabbed her too, both of her arms and hurt her too. (This girl is D) D doesn't want to tell because she's afraid she's going to get in trouble and our teachers won't think shes a "good girl", which she is. My other friends don't wanna tell either, I only have one friend who wants to. Its getting me really mad. Should I tell someone of authority or not? Sorry this is long! |

So I asked her could we go on sunday or saturday?She didn't clearly replied back. So I asked on Sunday can you come she replied No, i can't just ask my mom all of a sudden if i come, i need time to prepare to ask and clean my room. Now today we assigned plans to go today go, it was today. But again, she bailed and didn't tell me why, but just yesterday I saw on her instagram her and friend together posting pics and playing at her house. I'm just so confused and have mixed feeling for her. I'm not sure if we re even best friend anymore. or if we re just mutual friends that talk. Considering, it seems like she make time for those friend and doesn't bail on them. Plus many times, she asked me to take a photo of her friends and her without me..... I talked to her many times before I feel left out, and she rolls her eyes and say omg you're not in a voice where it seems like she is annoyed with me. At her birthday party too she invited her choir friends and talked to them, but not me. He said stuff like I was really photogenic,not like most girls,he's glad we met,etc. I brushed it off and didn't think too much of it. when school started after a month he left schools and we stopped being friends because he lied to me- saying that he lied is an understatement of what he did. Anyway I really hated him for a while. Also apparently he told his friends that I was in love with him.For the past few months though everytime I go out he is a lot of the time there. And he always does this weird stare that everyone notices. Also he tries to get me angry because that's the only way I will talk to him. Also at school his friends harass me like say his name and laugh or say a sexual joke. A few weeks ago I texted him and told him to make his friends stop and he said no. Then this week he texted me again and answered the last text I sent from a couple weeks ago. We had an ok convo then he said things like he doesn't hate me or have anything against me which is strange. We then were talking like friends till the convo stopped. My nieve self thought we had a chance at becoming close friends again. Then yesterday my friend told me that her friend showed her a pic of a selfie he sent her and that girl was all like "he's so hot" for some reason I was jealous. I just want to know what's happening first of all with me and also with him...? |

I have a very boyish personality and love hanging out with boyish people who play video games, card games, and other things that the typical girl doesn't think about. I never want kids and I am not a fan of dresses, make up, etc. I have always been that way. I do not click with girls. It is like an unspoken omen as soon as I come in contact with them. It's like they are off limits. I feel afraid of them, I do not want to bother them or start fights. I would rather just be around guys that don't care about petty things. I wouldn't be having much of a problem with this if it wasn't my boyfriend becoming insanely jealous. I have been with my boyfriend for a year now and he still gets nervous when I hang out with other guys. He has confronted me and accused me of not even trying to make girl friends. I am at a loss, I do not know what to do. Is there something wrong with me? Why can't I make friends that are girls unless they are very boyish? Should I keep trying or just go my own way and stick with guys? I just feel that I can connect with them whereas girls just annoy or intimidate me. |
