He stole my game and sold it And constantly stole money. My mom would always say it's my fault for not putting my stuff up even though he took it all from my room. And he always says he didn't do it even when caught red handed. Now i haven't had my card in a week about but i figured it was somewhere in the house since i haven't been out. Then i get an over draft notice saying someone used my card at a gas station. Then my brother shows up. So he clearly used it. I asked him and he claimed he didn't but i know he did. He doesn't live with us anymore so i can't go through his stuff. What should i do. I'm sick of this **** |

They are worried about me and all they want to do is punish me. They do not like my boyfriend and hate the fact I see him. I've started smoking and they blame that on him, they hate it, although my Mum smokes. They think I'm awful and say they can't control and say I do what I want, But personally I think I'm an average teenager and not as bad as some of my peers. I'm really unhappy at home, my parents don't support my decision to go to college instead of sixth form, although I'm still eager for an education. I know I sound like I'm overreacting, but I would love to live independently, as I believe living at home is not helping me psychologically. Could I leave home and not get sent back home? I'd rather be homeless than a disappointment at home. |

In my school marching band is mandatory when you join band. Last year, joining the competition part of band was not an option. However, this year, our band director changed the program. If you join band in my high school, football marching band is mandatory like it was before (meaning you are in the pep band only when you perform on the bleachers during football games). Now our band director is giving us competition band as an option which was mandatory in the past. The competition band as you know is when you march on the football field and put on that show when you have marching drill and march during games and you compete and we have to perform at Hershey Park and I have no friends to roommate with there. My mom made me join competition band this year even though it was an option, because she said that everyone was in it, but then I saw that 10 people in regular football band did not choose that option. Competition band is stupid and that would not go on your college resume. As long as you were in regular marching band, that will go on your resume. I hate marching band because I hate the people and I do not fit in with anyone. I just use people in there until my high school life is over for good. I hate high school. How could I convince her? |

In his current marriage, he has two step sons. I also have two sisters who are twins and 13 years old. My dad has anger/temper issues, and a lot of the time when he gets mad he throws things. One day he got mad and threw a laptop onto the brood, breaking it into a few pieces. Then he started throwing the pieces. One of them hit me, leaving a bruise for about two weeks. That was not an isolated incident. Not everything is that bad, sometimes he just throw things at us, like hairbrushes or something. It's not only put physical though. It's emotional too. He always yells at us and tells us how we're stupid and worthless and none of us will ever get married because we're ugly and weird. It should be easy to brush off, but it's not. I know I shouldn't pay attention to him, but I do. A couple days ago my mom and step dad found my suicide note. They talked to me and I told them it was because of my dad. We agreed to enter counseling, and they said if the psychologist determines that my dad was the cause of my suicidal thoughts then we might get removed from him. They said a psychologist's testimony will go a long way in court. It's that enough evidence to stand in court? I have taken pictures of the bruises my dad has left, but there's no evidence that he caused them other than my word. But the fact that I almost killed myself because of him, is that enough? I live in Ohio, if that matters. He threw the laptop on the floor, not brood. |

This addiction has completely spiralled out of control, her Heath is in serious danger. She has had a brain hemorage, hemmoraged and she lost 13 pints of blood. Been in an induced coma due to the toxins of the codine building up, and 2 days ago this happened again, she is currently being taken out of the coma. I cannot cope with this anymore myself and my family have tired countless times to get her help, she has went to rehab & went back on the tanlets again. The addiction is to strong and she will do anything to get the tablets. She constantly lies to us, she is so frail is down to around 6 stone covered in sores her health is in serious danger, she is barely fit to walk. I hardly have a relationship with her it's awkward n I have nothing to talk to her about. At the moment I dnt even want to visit or talk to her in hospital I'm so angry she keeps doing this to us knowing the state of her health is in and what it's doing to my family. But I feel like they are watching me, I'm not meant to watch videos on my iPod because it uses up too much internet and whenever I've been watching a video, my dad is like 'So what have you been doing in your bedroom?' And when I use my iPod when I'm meant to be asleep, the next morning my dad is like 'Did you have a good sleep? You weren't on your iPod or something til late?' And once when I was crying just because my stepmum had annoyed me, I wasn't making a sound or anything and like half an hour afterwards (so my she's weren't all red and blotchy) my dad came in and asked me if I was alright. This all seems a little too freaky, so I looked around my room trying to find a camera but I couldn't find one. They are strict but not the kind of people that would put a camera in bedroom. But how else would they know what was going on? They couldn't have seen through the window and no one else saw so no one else could've told them. She's a little brat to me, all I have to do is look at her and she'll accuse me of "judging her" Like some people you meet in life, who you just can't warm to or see what everybody else sees in them, I cannot physically bring myself to like my sister. Everything she does annoys me and she has told me to my face with deep sincerity that she hates me and I have to her too. I see my friends with their sisters having fun etc but me and my sister never talk to each other unless we are fighting. When we walk home together from school we walk on the opposite sides of the roads and if its just us at the dinner table we sit in silence. The other day I read some article about how men no longer find women attractive after 24. BS! It does make me slightly paranoid. I am 22 and though right now my boyfriend calls me beautiful and sexy right now, what will happen 20 or 30 years from now (if we marry). Now most people would say that looks fade and don't matter after a while. I agree this is true...but the situation of a man losing sexual attraction in his wive is not uncommon and its quite devastating to some couples. For example, my aunt. She told me my 54 year old uncle checks out 20-somethings and she worries he gets a little too friendly with his younger coworkers. Even in my case, I commute to the city with married businessmen and a number of them would strike up conversations with me and a few times, borderline flirtatious. Yeah you could say they were just making conversation, but why with me, the 22 year old college student? Why not the other businessman or the woman his age? I do however wonder if letting oneself go is a possibility as to why men's eyes start wandering. My aunt did indeed let herself go physically and according to my mother, even emotionally she changed. If a woman continues to take of herself and not reject sex, will the attraction stay alive? Or is the bullshit article right, are men just simply no longer attracted to women after a certain age? |

Posted: 31 Mar 2015 10:21 AM PDT -before we leave the house he has to unplug all electrical devices cuase he thinks the house will burn. -he can't leave the dog in the car while he's in the store cause he thinks she'll run away. -when I was a kid, he didn't like to leave my mom alone with me bc he thought she'd run away back to the Philippines and take me with her (white guys) -he doesn't like going on vacations cause he thinks the house will be robbed -he doesn't like talking on the phone bc he thinks the radio effects will give you brain cancer. -when my parents divorced, he stalked my mom for months. Once we were at the beach and we caught him following us in the bushes. -He's incredibly nosy. He looks through my bedroom when I'm not there; once we were at a relatives house and they caught him looking in their personal drawers -As a parent he is EXTREMELY overprotective. Its really hard for me to make plans with friends cause he's like a helicopter. He just barely lets me on 10-minute walks around the block but even then, sometimes he'll get anxious and follow me in his car. I am 15 years old! Even though I live in a quiet suburban area, I go to school in a big city and the environment is very different. Most kids take the bus to school and I'm not even aloud to use buses. My father doesn't have a job; he lives off child support and his girlfriends money, and we are living in her house. I wish he could get help for his paranoia issues and support himself. Thanks. |

I am willing to stick by her and not leave her because I feel She made some stupid mistakes but it was out of character so I think she just got herself into a bad situation and make some poor decisions. And I am not defending her or saying she should not serve her punishment. I told my kids she is rightfully serving her punishment which is the right thing for her mistakes. I am wondering what is the best way to prepare for this situation and how to handle it. I have a daughter who is 15 and she seems to be handling it fine. I told her right away about it and she reacted pretty calmly. She later joked about how her mother is "getting ordered around now". I think it is just a joke and I think it is better to be that way instead of being hysterical about it . I was originally not going to let her visit her mom in jail because I would think exposing her to that environment is not a good idea but I am actually hearing that it is a good idea to let her visit but why? isn't it a bad idea to let a 15 year old be exposed to a jail. She could easily be intimidated by the guards and inmates and just the area. My wife says bring her if she wants to visit but don't if she doesn't. She says she doesn't have a problem visiting but I am not sure. Also I want to make sure it doesn't feel like the whole family is in jail |

I'm an only child with my dad and he gives me full support no matter what he doesn't call me names he never puts me down. But my mom doesn't give me full support or she basically just doesn't want to deal with me anymore. She will say stuff like go live your dad you listen to him, its not like I don't listen to my mom I just don't give her the same respect as I do my dad. And I have a brother from my mom but its not my dads kid, and she treats him like a king, she is always showing love for him gets him anything he wants, anything I have and he wants it he gets it. This all happen when my brothers girlfriend does not like me, and she lies on me. This basically all started out when she moved in with me my brother and my grandmother. She would sit there on couch and says nasty stuff to my mommom, as I followed her. I was pretty upset because when I got in room, she was in a bad mood, so I ask her what the problem was and she said that she was making her mad by saying ingnorant things to her, Well my Grandmother had a little thing she kept and My brother Girlfriend likes it but the cat almost killed it, so my Grandmother sold it because the cat kept getting it. And thats when she sat on couch Mouthing my Grandmother, saying she wasgonna lie on her. Well I know I should have stayed out of this, but I just told her she shouldn't say stuff like that to my grandmother and she said I was getting smart with her. I have no doubt I was even getting smart, I said It in the calmest way. She runs off and goes to my grandmother saying why's you tell her. So then she comes pointing her fingers in my face talking about disresepct, In my or Gods name. This close to my eye. So I say Hannah Nobody is disrespecting you. She just kept going and finally I told her to go to hell. He makes fun of the fact that I have pimples (I'm 13 and I'm hitting puberty, so you should understand) He makes fun of me when he is drunk. When he is drunk, he continuously calls my sister beautiful while putting his feet on my back and telling me to remove his socks and give him foot rubs. If he is drunk and calls says my sister is perfect, shouldn't he be praising me? Does that mean he loves my sister more than me? When we both participate in a recital, he would rather watch my sisters performance. He would rather talk about my sisters achievements instead of mine. Does he love her more? He asks me to open his bottles of beer and then take off his socks. To be fun and so he can have fun with me, I give him a little tickle on his foot when I take of his socks, but he will just get mad and will just say that I have a foot fetish for him but I dont! | Question: My aunt is not feeding my cousin healthy food? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 09:16 AM PDT My little cousin is 2 and a half and I love her like she's my own daughter. But my aunt only feeds her junk and greasy food high in fat! She doesn't eat veggies, eats junk all day and not to mention my aunt's food that has to do with meat. It's like she uses an entire canteen of cooking oil to cook meat. Don't even get me started on pork. This is why I rarely eat there. Anyways my cousin's diet is absolutely terrible! I've tried to convince my aunt to change her entire family's eating habits, but she never pays attention or gets annoyed with me. I think this is very irresponsible of her. I'm worried about my cousin's health later on especially childhood obesity, because I was way overweight which means low self esteem and bullying. But I got into sports and martial arts, so my body is somewhat athletic today and I regained my confidence. I know this sounds like a rant, but how can I talk to my aunt? How can I convince her to change diets to a more healthy one? She is seriously stubborn. |
| Question: How to deal with boyfriends parents when I'm pregnant? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 09:12 AM PDT I'm pregnant, 21, and still in college. My parents have been basically amazing all my life. When I told them I was pregnant, they helped me find a way to still get my degree. With an extra room in the house, I decided to stay with them until I can afford to move out. They treat me like what I am- an adult that lives in their home. I got pregnant with my boyfriend of a few years. Dealing with his parents throughout our whole relationship has been difficult. Don't get me wrong, they're nice; however, they seem to think their son is 15. He lives with them, and will stay there until we can afford to move out (about a year). The main issue is that they're now trying to control both of us. They're emotionally abusive and bully to get their way. I've basically been told how to raise my child, how my family are liars, and that I have to move in with them. They're telling my boyfriend to take me to court (which we've both decided that he can see the baby whenever and court is not necessary. We're in love, together, and will be moving out). My boyfriend is freaking out because he feels like being 21, having a kid, job, and being in school qualifies him to make his own life decisions. I feel like I don't have control over how my child will be raised and my child's father is literally falling apart. Can anyone please tell me how to handle this? |

| Question: I do not like living with my family? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 08:10 AM PDT I feel like my house is a very toxic place and I can't deal with it anymore. There is something mentally wrong with my mom and she goes out of control on very tiny issues. She blames me for everything and flips out at the drop of a hat. My dad knows this but always sides with my mom and acts like everything is my fault. I'm 18 years old and get treated like I'm 8. I barely ever do anything wrong, but if I come smelling like alcohol the one time I drank all winter I get called an out of control alcoholic who needs to go to rehab. She calls all the girls I talk to names and talks like I'm going to get them pregnant and all this stupid stuff, calls my friends losers, and always tells me they don't want me to be in the house. But then when I try to leave the house they don't let me. They complain who I hang out with, but whenever I try to hang out with someone like my cousin they throw so many barriers in the way as if I was a toddler instead of an 18 year old. College is coming soon and I'm moving out but I can't take it. I will go out and be in a great mood and then come home to get yelled at for nothing. My mom yelled and cursed at me and my dad for 7 hours the other day over the girl I'm taking to prom. After 4 hours my dad sided with her and I got 3 more hours of yelling from both parents without saying a word to them. I can't take it, il come home with a great mood and it will be ruined within minutes. What can I do? I really want nothing to do with them |

We both did girl stuff like play Barbie Dolls on the playground and so on. My father picked me up from school everyday, he saw that I made a friend with Daniel.... but Daniel was a little black girl. My father took me home he was silent the entire ride home. But I knew I had angered him .... I just didn't know how. I can remember this so clearly because I was 8 years old. He led me inside the house as we walked in we entered the living room. All of a sudden I found myself on the hardwood floor, my glasses slid across the floor. He reached for his leather belt and just started to hit me where ever the belt may land. I cried out and said why daddy? He told me I should be ASHAMED! How could I be playing with a ________! Well you fill in the blank but let's just say it's not a nice word okay. I told him she was my best friend, he said If I continued to play with her I would continually get spanked until I understood. As my sister and I have grown up he is still the same JERK, he has always been! I once had a crush a two different times one on an Asian boy. And another crush on a Spanish boy. When I told my father... he flat out told me if I ever got with someone non white then he would disown me. He has always tried to force us to think as he thinks and believe what he believes. But guess what? I'm nothing like HIM or the Rest of my FAMILY.. I'm 23 and married. Me husband and I want to adopt a non white child because we both have HEARTS unlike my cruel father. I hate my parents so I will never been around them haven't seen them in years actually. How do you deal with family's like this? Should I cut ties forever with this family? | Posted: 31 Mar 2015 07:36 AM PDT My parents are in their late 50s and I'm 19. My brother is 13 years my senior and my sister is 9 years my senior. I've mostly felt like the last child, until recently when I just started college and my family suddenly treated me condescendingly. They think that they've babied me too much and thus treat me like **** now so that I'd grow up. Honestly, I AM independent--maybe not completely independent financially yet but in other aspects I am--and I've never appreciated them babying/spoiling me. I've always wanted to leave the nest because I've never felt close to my family anyway. I mean, I used to be close with my siblings but we've grown apart. There were many times when I felt distant from my family because the age gap between my siblings is smaller than the age gaps between me and them. Ever since high school, I've sought close relationships outside the house with friends and father/mother/brother/sister-like figures at school and elsewhere. My siblings and parents frequently talk with each other about what to do with me (what I should study in school, what career path I should take, how I could become more of an adult, etc). I'm definitely not a family person. When I'm home, I go out everyday to see friends or just to be away from family. |
| Question: Can someone tell me what is wrong with my dad? Posted: 31 Mar 2015 07:11 AM PDT Okay, my dad is 53 years old as of Feb. 2015 and I am 17, almost 18. My dad does very strange things and I was hoping someone could tell me what is wrong with him. First off, he works extremely hard at his work at the BMW plant where he works from 6:30 AM to 6:00 o clock at night. He works in an area that is very damaging to his body in which he has to turn his neck at bad angles, which lead to him having ACDF surgery on his spine in August 2013. His boss cooperated with him in the fact that he kept him off of the such strenuous jobs on the assembly line (wiring harness). He has been working there for 27 years in which he started there in 1988. It s unbelievable how he doesn t have a better job since he has that kind of seniority, and he can t quit because he gets full retirement when he turns 60, and he feels determined to get there. Anyways, to continue, he also is into NASCAR and has been since his 20 s. Back in 2013, I told my dad about ebay and the NASCAR merch that was on the site and ever since then he has made a collection of decals in his bin in his room in which he changes a decal out on his car every few days. My mom and I both agree, and we have told him numerous times, that this is a complete waste of money. I am just trying to figure out why he does this and why it seems to be his only hobby and fun in life. My parents and I eat out about every night and it seems to be the only thing we do that is enjoyable. This was worded strangely but thanks guys EDITED for this comment of my own: I am not saying I am a jerk to him, I can get aggravated with him sometimes though. I just want to know if there is anything I should do.. I do believe in hard work and I hope to be like him someday, in that sense. I just hope that his work isn't getting to him and messing with his head, since he does the same repetitive things everyday. We had love at first sight and I immediately knew I wanted him to be my husband. Afterwards I found out he was here illegally and didnt have permanent resident. I still accepted him because I saw his personality and his potential and I wanted to help him and be his wife. We got married. I got pregnant..decided to stay at home to raise my child. Now im working Still seven years and we are still not living together because he hasnt been able to work because of his immigration status. I want to petition him but he has not the money. I work a partime job. I want to go to college and have career i have dreams and goals which i put on hold to be with him and he seems to be okay with the way he is. I dont see him making a hard effort to save the money for his papers. I do not blame him for my life and where Im at, as I am responsible for my own life. But because of his situation i have and my life has been affected. How can i mentally separate myself from this situation and his negative lifestyle to go after my dreams and goals while still being there for him and being a good wife? |

My name is Trevor, I live in New Jersey and I am 17 years of age. I am not the smartest. I have a 3.64 GPA taking all advance classes and a 2nd-year college Spanish course to further pursue my Spanish background. I am a successful wrestler too, which I enjoy doing very much that I would like to further pursue this as well, but am willing to drop it for success after highschool. My problem is that I have no idea what I want to do, or how I want to do it. I am the youngest child in my family with 2 older brothers. I am slowly watching their bank account dwindle and them come out of college with only an immense amount of student debt to show for it, my brother couldn't finish his semester at OSU, and is now back home under our parents roof. My eldest brother is working 2 jobs in an effort to pay back my father and his loans simultaneously. I don't want to have to do this. I want to be financially dependent for a change. I don't want to put my parents through another stress and money filled 4 years. I've looked at the marine core, for that is a good financial option, but I don't really see myself doing that. I want to live a little bit. But I am willing to do whatever it takes to attain success and to financially establish myself. I have a lot more to say but am running out of characters. Recently (about two months ago) he got a girlfriend and she got him into the music genres of post-hardcore andheavy metal. She especially got him into Sleeping with Sirens and Disturbed. We're a Chritian family and her family is atheistic. My pastor recently gave a sermon on how you should be careful about what your kids are listening to and see if there are any satanic messages. I listened to some of the songs while he was in school and some of them have decent messages about being yourself(kick me by sleeping with sirens), while others have questionable messages (such as down with the sickness and inside the fire by Disturbed). I worry that he may try to emulate the messages in some of the not so good songs. However it gets worse. I recently found out that they are sexually active with each other. He says that they love each other and that I can't take them apart. He also assures me that he "pulls out" and they only do anal. I also found out that she will send nudes to him and he'll send nudes back. I have also found out that they have begun to cut themselves because they're being bullied. What should I do? |

So she starts asking him a ton of questions and then she goes "let's see how you do in a fight!" So Grant says no I don't want to fight and then Drew my sis nails him on the face with a punch so grant tries to tackle her then she puts him on her shoulders and slams him on the ground so when I try to help him she just tackles me onto him so I am sandwiched between grant and drew so that makes me 85 pounds and drew 157 pounds crushing grant so when she finally gets off he tries to punch her and she somehow takes him down and chokes him to passing out with her trunk like thighs so he goes home and doesn't talk to me for the next two days!!! |
