I'm trying to make some healthier changes.. I usually drink mountain dew everyday, all day, literally. Everyday. which is very bad for me, so I'm replacing it with Gatorade. Is it bad for me if I drink Gatorade everyday?

I am consulting with company where I met with a girl who happens to work for different consulting company but same client and same group. My dad passed away a year ago after being ill for a long time. He and I were very close but unfortunately I didn't see him a lot the last couple of years of his life. My stepmother, who he married when I was 14, was the main reason. She hated me from the minute she met me but I never had the heart to tell my dad because he'd been destroyed by my moms passing. So, because of that, I put up with a lot from her. Including her calling me names, threatening me, making me feel bad for not being older and able to help my dad more. My grandparents had to hire someone to help look after my dad because she refused. And when I turned 18 and got a full time job, I started helping to pay. She never once offered to pay or even help with my dads care. She pretended to around my dad, but I know for a fact she never did. When I was finally able to leave the house, it was life a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. She almost destroyed me over the years and made me feels so bad about myself. Now that dads gone and she's alone, she keeps trying to worm her way back into my life. She asks about meeting my kids (3 and 4 months) and tries to find out where I live. gave a screwed up reason and a flopped formal email excuse (which they claimed not to have received) earlier, so i don't know what else to say to get out of it. project people are nice (a few i guess), but i think i have anxiety disorder or something cos whenever i think of having to meeting and chatting with them i panic and come up with a load of excuses. but this is urgent cos they want an overnight stay and i think i might end up exposing some anxiety to them. however they might judge me for future projects if i give a bad justification again after my screwed up excuse. so any ideas for realistic excuses?

I know this question is stupid, but I've never been to a funeral before. How do you know what time the funeral's taking place? Does the family of the one who passed call around and tell people? Isn't that a struggle? I'm opening my novel with my character finding out about the death of her sister, whom she hasn't heard from for 6 years since they're not close. Is sending out invitations for a funeral unrealistic and old, or should I go for it (since her family is a bit weird)?

I don't have much evidence except but from 2 incidents, which both could be coincidence, but what has happened has made me increasingly suspicious of my neighbor. The neighbor is a late twenties to thirty something year old male who either lives with or just stays extensively with his parents, who live directly across the street from my dad's house. My oldest sister used to have band in high school with his younger sister, but other than that, we've never had any relationship with them besides the occasional Hi, but seriously, that's not often. Anyway, here's the point. I've been coming to stay at my dad's house recently, and since I have work consistently 6 days a week, I typically leave the house usually at the same time and in the same fashion on those days. So, just the other day, I was leaving the house at my normal time a little earlier than 5AM, and as usual I turned on the outside light so I could see when I go out to my car, and right when I was about a couple of feet from my car, suddenly a car rushes out of nowhere, with no headlights on, and slows to a near stop right in front of my dad's house (and the neighbors house), so right in front of my car, basically. The car doesn't fully stop, though, it just started driving extremely slow, like crawling, and I almost panicked, but I just stood in the middle of the front yard staring at it, thinking whether I should run back to the front door of my dad's house, since it was equal distance as my car was to me.

So I am being put in a position to choose between my relationship and an enjoyable summer job. My girlfriend of two years is threatening to leave me if I take a job from a friend at a small ice cream shop at the beach a short drive away. Her reasoning is that as an engineering student, I could get an internship or work in retail selling electronics (which really isn't all that different from ice cream). I still live at home with no major financial risks to worry about. What is everyone's opinion? I'd like to think I can still make my own decisions involving my life but I would hate to see her go.

I feel like how Steve Urkel feels about Laura Winslow in Family Matters. I'm in love with this guy who is my best friend. He tells me nothing will happen between us and i should get him out of my little "cloud" but he still wants to remain best friends, which i do too. I really want to get over him but i admit, i feel like he is the one for me. I feel like even though he says things won't work out between us that one day he will just come running to me saying he wished he never told me that we weren't going to work out and that he wants to be with me. me and my ex broke up in october cause of a STD Scare my doctor thought i had herpes and he was the only guy i was with so naturally i thought he gave it to me he was acting like he was cheating so i confronted him he told me to STFU and blamed the "cheating" on me (which i wasn't) saying i probably was the one giving him the "STD" i told my friend how much of a douche he was being so she cursed him out without my permission which made him dump me (even tho i got my results and i was negative) fast forward to december he starts talking to me again acting like he still liked me and wanted to work things out but then 2 days before christmas his mother died which changed things he was really depressed so we didnt see other for a month so in january we started having s*x constantly every weekend he's even taken me out on dates but when i ask him why he won't ever claim me as his gf again he starts talking about how "he has too much going on in his life or I'm too depressed to be a boyfriend" but he's not too depressed to f**k me every weekend my friend thinks he's bullish!tting and if he wanted to me with me he would have asked me to be his gf again by now DO YOU THINK ITS TRULY GRIEVING OR HE'S JUST USING ME FOR SEX?

Earlier this wk my brother died and I needed a way to get to the funeral since my car is not in the best shape. I called him but his phone was off. So I drove by his house and knocked on the door. I'm 24 and work at a grocery store stocking shelves. I've worked here for 3 years. The whole time, I've worked with Angela, a cashier, who is 40. Angela is married and has no kids. Her marriage seems to be coming to an end soon but I still feel guilty about what I'm doing, but at the same time, it's really exciting to be making out with an attractive older woman. How do I handle this?

This guy at college looks at me a lot, I think he is cute and i see him in the hall a lot. He always looks right at me in hall and smiled once but never says anything. I've been dating a woman for about 10 months. We live together and get along really well. I love her personality and we have become best friends. However, over the past couple months I've become increasingly bothered by her weight. She is overweight, to the point of it being unhealthy. When she takes her clothes off I can't help but be bothered by her weight. I've talked to her about it, and she says she is willing and wants to lose the weight. However, I feel torn because I care about her so much and don't want to hurt her. Her father is very sick and I want to be there for her when he passes, which could be sometime this year or possibly (hopefully) longer. I know that breaking up will crush her and be very painful for both of us, because we have such a strong connection to each other. But I also want to be fully attracted to her. What can I do?

I was together with a guy for about 6 years and had a nasty break up last year, he started dating a girl right away and I think they are still together. Anyway, he sent me a text last night at 3am that said "Sorry I was sleeping, why did you call?" Well the thing is that I had erased his number last year because I just couldn t deal with him at that time, so there is no way that I could ve called. I texted back saying " who is this?" because at first I didn t know it was him but then I figured it out. As far as I know he still has a girlfriend so why did he suddenly text me that? Hii I'm 15 years old and in high school. I have this one teacher who really creeps me out! I used to really like him at the beginning of the year, we were kind of "friends" I guess. Recently I've noticed he is VERY touchy. He's touchy to ALL the girls so it's not just a 'me' thing. One of my friends also told me that he was in the boys locker room watching then shower, but I'm not sure if it's true. The other day I had a dream he groped me (lol?) and since then I've been kind of afraid of him. Because of that I've been thinking more about how touchy and creepy he is.
