Im scared, my friend is really depressed and is saying she's going to kill herself. What should i do and/or say to get her to stop

So my friend (lets call her Sarah) is very stubborn and it is her way or the highway. I am also very stubborn so we butt heads a lot. In November, she was planning a secret Santa for Christmas and invited everyone in our lunch friend group except my best friend since she didn't know her well. I of course stood up for my best friend (lets call her Amy) and told Sarah that Amy should be in the secret Santa thing. Sarah said no and that it was her plan so she gets to say exactly what happens. Then she kicked me out of the secret Santa group. I didn't care because I would rather be kicked out then exclude Amy. Anyway, because of the secret Santa thing she ignored me for about a month and a half until I just apologized to her and said I was in the wrong (which I know I wasn't. I was sick of being treated invisible and wanted to get it over with despite how desperate it looks). Anyway, flash forward a month later (around the end of February). She was mad at me out of the blue. So, I asked her and she said she was tired of competing with me with driving (since I am younger) and the SAT. Here's the thing , I told the whole group I finished drivers ed because I was really excited and it wasn't in a bragging sort of way, but Sarah hasn't finished drivers ed yet. On the SAT I was the only one who did worse than she did. I borrowed money from my parents to take an SAT class and raised my score by 150. I told her this after she asked me about SAT classes and about the one I took. I gave her all the info for the SAT class I took and told her when they would be having a sale. She also told me that "we'll talk later". I waited but we never talked. Turns out, she ignoring me now. She excludes me from all the activates she plans and tries to exile me from all the friends we share. Whenever I see her in passing period she gives me the evil eye. I gave her a month of time and then texted her saying we need to work this out. She never responded. Now she keeps on ignoring me and I try to ask for help from the friends we share to talk to her about it in hopes it will help. They won't because they don't want to get in the middle of it which is ok. The thing they do let me do is vent to them about it but they are starting to get annoyed by it and I feel like I have no one to turn too now. Please don't tell me to go to the counselor because that will only make it worse or to my parents because I don't have a good relationship with them so I don't feel comfortable asking them. Sorry this is long and I was wondering what would you do if you were in my situation. I have tried to let it go but it is very hard. Thank you for any help. 😊

My friends keep talking about stuff they do together. For example they saw each other at the mall, decided to walk around together and now they are talking about stuff they bought on the group chat. It's only one friends that's doing it really and I sometimes wonder if she does it to purposely make me feel left out. Every time I miss out on something she makes me realize it. Another example is they rode back together from a movie theater and I already had a ride so I didn't get to then the next day all I hear from the one friend is how I don't know one of the friends until I'm alone in a car with them. She goes on and on. They also have inside jokes and stuff that they won't even try to explain to us. If we ask she just says "it's an inside joke you wouldn't understand". It's starting to make me feel like crap and I'm almost about to snap. I've already gotten mad at her over the inside joke stuff by saying "don't worry guys they do this all the time. It's no use she doesn't tell the ones not in on it"

There is this friend I have been good friends with for a year and a half, but I feel like we have not been as close as we used to be, plus I found out that me telling her about my problems was overwhelming her, which confuses me because she used ti not mind that. There are a few kids he hangs with that are my age that makes me jealous because it looks like she is doing better with them then with me. How do I save my friendship?

alright so I recently realized that a lotta my "friends" look at me as the kid in the group nobody pays attention to. I mean occasionally they will but they honestly piss me off. like it's funny when I make jokes with them and they hear and don't react.. someone else who I guess "deserves most attention" can make a shittier joke and they'd laugh their *** off. and most friends never reply to my texts like I could ask nicely if they're down to do anything and they either don't reply or say "they're busy." but an hour later I see them on snapchat posting stuff with other people... I'm also never include me in group pictures or ****. I just don't even feel like I'm a part of their stupid squad aha. I just don't understand why they don't include me in anything, I'm not as annoying as half of them are, but oh well.. I'm just wondering if I should try to talk to new people and it will be hard but maybe that's a good idea. or maybe I could try to talk to them all about how I feel and see what they say.. I don't know tbh. help?

I don't have any friends in real life, just online, and a few of them genuinely care about me. But they can't help me. I don't know what can help me. There's isn't even a point to living. I finish highschool, then college, jet a job, maybe find a spouse, and then kick the bucket. It's so pointless :( And all anyone does for me irl is make it harder. I was discussing college with my best friend since 9th grade and one on my list is UPenn, an Ivy League. My friend went on to say I don't play sports and I'm not "smart enough" for an ivy league school. I told them it really hurt my feelings and it was a very rude thing to say, but they did not apologize and continued to state I would not make the cut. I know this is ridiculous because my GPA is high and I have great achievements in extracurriculars, but part of me lost confidence in my abilities and the comment made me feel as if I didn't deserve that goal. My question is, what do I do with our friendship now that they've shown they don't support or believe in me?

Here is a very complicated situation: My best friend (Friend 2) who lives across the street from me goes to School B (I'll use letter to represent the schools) and she lives on a different street than me. Although, me and my other neighbor friend (Friend 1) both go to School A because we live on the same street. Note that there are 4 streets in our neighborhood and 3/4 go to school B. So, me and Friend 1, the one who goes to the same school on me both had our older siblings go to school A and this was years ago. Now, the district wants to tell me that I shouldn't be going to school A and that i should have been enrolled to school B. They didn't correct me and my friends' older sisters. I am upset because they said you can only go to School A if I have my own transportation and I don't join any clubs, sports, and activities if it goes against another school because if they go against School B, i should be on that team or whatever. I do sports though!!! I am so upset because they are wrong, people who live very close to be outside of my neighborhood that go to School A have a bus that pass our neighborhood so its not like they are doing anything extra if they allow me to go on a bus! The bus literally passes my stop! They didn't say anything about Friend 1 though so i'm assuming the bus will still come for them and i might just hop on with him i don't really know. The district is the one that messed up with making the divisions for each school So basically they want me to change schools and have many unfair conditions. They are telling me because of where i live, is shouldn't be going to the same school MY 2 SISTERS GRADUATED FROM! I can't go on transportation that PASSES MY STOP, and can't join activities that compete. We live in the same house for 10 consecutive years and they are saying this now?! My brother is going to be a freshman who plays sports too. Should i confront my district? What should i say????

My friend (who I'm not THAT close with but we'd still be friends) text me, out of no where, saying during the summer can she stay with me in my holiday home some days (which I know from her means a lot of days). She wants to stay with me not to be with me but because this is where almost everyone from our town goes for summer and she wants to be with all the popular people drinking alcohol like every day (which I don't do). So about a year ago, I made plans with two friends of mine that I would room with them on a school trip to DC. I don't like them very much anymore because they aren't any fun and are kind of annoying. This other group asked me to room with them so I said I would instead of rooming with the old people. How do I tell the old group nicely that I won't be rooming with them??

I have an important question whose answer is known to only one person. I found that person in facebook but he resists to accept my friend request. His wife did. I even talked to his wife saying, hi, how are you. Shes a nice person. Should i tell her about the deal with her husband? Or should i approach her where they work together. I know their address. Befriending them in real-life will take long but its better than waiting for an answer in facebook... Plus, their address is far away from me. I may go there as a vacation. I'm a guy and I had a bestfriend Monica, but we had a problem in our friendship, almost two months ago she was mad at me.. so she came to my home to talk to me because she thought I had lied to her about something. I tried explaining the situation but she just walked away slightly laughing saying "never talk to me again" . I slightly held her and told her my side of the story because I didn't want her thinking I'm a liar. she eventually left but soon that night she sent me a message saying to never speak to her again because I made the biggest mistake by putting my hands on her, and because I prevented her from leaving. and also told me she was abused in the past. I wasn't trying to do anything bad ( obviously) so she blocked me, I decided to send her 2 long letters trying to explain and to apologize and I also sent her some roses. She told me if I don't leave her alone she will contact police " but honestly I thought she was bluffing since we were such good friends". she did contact police and the police told me to leave her alone because it can be considered harassment. She hasn't spoken to me since around the end of February and I just don't know what to think. any advice please. Could she talk to me down the road when she calms down??????

I'm going through a really rough time, I mean, really rough... health, money, emotional issues, all of it together. I remember when my cousin was going through a really bad break up, her friends went to her house, bought her a lot of food, helped her clean, stayed with her... I always thought my friends, at least my best friend would react like that. I had a 6+ year friendship with someone I considered my BEST friend. When we were younger we went to every party together and were hardly apart. We go older and grew up together, but as I got older I started feeling like I was carrying all the weight of our friendship. At first I felt like the 2 of them always treated me differently, but one day i hung out with our 3rd friend (as we used to call any one who tried to enter our duo) and i confided in her all the secrets and undercover betrayals and set ups ad stress and drama and JUST EVERYTHING i went thru in my then current BEST friendship. So, we just stopped communicating with my best friend. We stopped hanging out with her, texting her, inviting her out. Now, I feel so much guilt. Like, i want to run back and apologize and remedy our friendship, but i also don't want to be apart of that miserable life style i used to be in. How the hell can I get over this feeling. I feel like I have some sort of Stockholm syndrome effect!

I don't have many friends so, therefore, I don't go out at all and don't invite people over. It is my freshman year of high school and my mom was expecting I would have tons of friends. She's mad I don't. Unfortunately, it is starting to affect my home life, as she now wants to further limit the amount of time I spend playing video games so I can "make more friends". What she doesn't get is I am happy as is, have good social interaction at school and no enemies, and enjoy playing video games. I was at school on my phone (we're allowed to be on them at my school) and she grabbed it out of my hand and ran away. It was unlocked and she looked through a bunch of stuff while she had it including some really embarrassing and private stuff (pictures, texts, etc.). Last year i became good friends with the newer girl and this year we both started hanging out with some girl Ive known forever. One of which is a really good friend of mine. Anyways at first it was fun and everything but then the newer girl started acting like she knew both girls better than me which is near to impossible because I've known them since kindergarten. I have a friend in college and she's awesome. A few semesters ago. I noticed she was cheating off of my paper and told her to stop. She didn't talked to her about it again. My college dorm is "suite" style with individual bedrooms. One of my suitemates is a single but promiscuous girl who brings over guys she usually finds at a local nightclub. I was trying to study (and then sleep) the other night, and my suitemate was having a one-night stand. The noise from her and the guy were distracting me from studying and keeping me up when I tried to sleep. This happens all the time, so I went out on a limb and slipped a note under the door: "Please mind the volume." I embarrassed the pair of lovers (wouldn't call them "couple" due to lack of commitment) and they were both upset. The girl's lover saw the note first and lashed out (again I wouldn't call him "boyfriend") so the girl got banned from signing in guests. I knew I made a bold move with the note and worried I'd upset them. Obviously, with loud music or laughing, it's ok to say "quiet down". But with noises of a SEXUAL nature, how should I have handled it in a less audacious manner?

Let s say there are two people. Person A & Person B. Person A & B are best friends with each other & they ve been best friends for a couple of years now, and they ve been through a lot of stuff together, which only makes them closer friends. However. Person B is in love with Person A, BUT Person A doesn t return those feelings, they never have and are sure they never will, after all, Person A & B have been friends for years now, so if something was going to happen, it would of happened already. Person A is in a relationship with someone else, and has been in this same relationship for almost as long as they ve been friends with Person B. And, Person A has made is VERY clear, on multiple occasions that they feel no sexual and or romantic feelings or attraction towards Person B, but Person B is extremely stubborn and narrow minded and refuses to think that a relationship between them and Person A will happen. Person A and Person B have had many conversations about how and why things wouldn t work out, even if they tried the relationship, on top of the fact that Person A just isn t into that person at all AND has a significant other. Person B continues to think that if they wait long enough or are nice enough to Person A, Person A will finally give in and date them, but Person A thinks that Person B should stop focusing on what they want the relationship to be or what the relationship could possibly be and focus on what the relationship actually is - a friendship.

I have a friend whose married with kids. We became friends childhood days but now our live is different. I am single and in University trying to get my degree. I have a friend who is going through a rough divorce. She was married for under a year, and she became angry when she found out he had hidden and secured parts of his assets and businesses from her. He was already successful before she met. I m getting to the age where some friends are going through rocky marriages and divorces and it seems like other women are in agreement that they would be upset about being "lied to." Well about a month and a half ago she tried to commit suicide on our college campus, but I was able to stop her. After that she began to cut herself but I managed to stop that too before it got any more worse because it only started with a couple small ones. The strand thing is though she d show them to me and our friends sometimes like "Hey guys look how much of a mess I am!!" Now it seems like she s starting to have feelings for me even though she knows I m married. She s being he first to like all of my YouTube videos,first to comment on some of my Facebook posts, even tag me in a bunch of things. She even gave me money the other day because I was saying how I wanted to buy my sister a stuffed peep for Easter and I also wanted to buy a replacement for my favorite shirt. What do I do?! Last time I talked to my friend was about 3 weeks ago. She said she was moving back to town. I told her that I was happy she would be coming back. So I went to my female friend's house yesterday for the first time and she had stuff animals on her bed and in her closet. I told her she is too old to be having teddie bears. She is 30 and i'm 30, I have baby, she is childless. She told me she doesn't play with them but it brings make memories and that she gave away some of her stuff animals but kept some. She says some was given to her by her parents as gifts, her boyfriend(and also when they went to arcade), her best friend and she bought some when she went on vacation and trips to remind her of places like her goofy stuff animal her parents bought for her when they took her to Disney world when she was a kid and it means a lot to her. So she can't get rid of them. She doesn't have a huge huge amount, but she has quite a few. But still why have any at her age? I just don't get it. Why would a 30 year old woman keep stuff animals, her reasons doesn't make any sense.

A friend that will care about your pursuit of your goals, let you talk to them about your problems, not judge you, help you in hard times, understand if you're busy for a time period (unless they need support) and just genuinely care about you/be there for you. Ich habe keine echten Freunde die mir das Gefühl geben es ist okay so wie ich bin. Die zwei oder drei Freunde denen ich mal relativ nahe stand verliere ich immer mehr als den Augen. Aber das liegt eh an mir. Wenn sie vorschlagen sich zu treffen freue ich mich zuerst aber dann kriege ich dieses Gefühl von Unsicherheit. Was wenn ich sie dann langweile? Was wenn ich wieder kein Wort sage? Weshalb ich meistens schlussendlich absage. Ich hab das Gefühl jeder außer mir hat eine Persönlichkeit. Ich bin einfach da, versuche nicht zu sehr aufzufallen und jedem zu gefallen. Ich fühle mich deshalb so allein gelassen. Ich habe praktisch verlernt wie man von dort zu richtigen Freunden wird. Ich will mich einfach mal normal fühlen können. Ich kann mich gerade so noch mit Mädchen unterhalten, wie soll das dann mit Jungs gehen? Ich bin 18 aber hatte noch nie einen Jungen als Freund oder meinen ersten Kuss hatte ich auch noch nicht genauso wenig wie einen festen Freund. Ich fühle mich so abnormal deswegen. Allein wenn mich ein einigermaßen attraktiver Junge auch nur anschaut werde ich rot und gehe auf Rückwärtsgang. Ich fliehe lieber anstatt dass er meine seltsame Art kennenlernt. Außerdem weiß ich einfach NIE worüber ich mit nem Jungen reden soll. Ich fühle mich 10x so unbedeutend vor einem jungen und denke mir, dass er eh kein Interesse an mir haben könnte und bestimmt so viele bessere Optionen hat.

I honestly feel like no one loves me and I have troubles with boys and even friends, male and female. I don t have a best friend but I have few, who each have the own 1 best friend. I really like this guys I bad but he currently hates me and has blocked me on everything but I still live right around the corner from him. I feel like hurting myself or doing something but I don t know what to do.

Im 14 and my friend is 14 also we are boys ,So i don't know why but my friend embarrassed me to other people i hate, i was talking to him in whatsapp and he started spamming and he was annoying so i blocked him, and then he told the the other people i hate that i blocked him and they started to make fun of me, he was with them too, he also hated them cuz they used to annoy him so much, but then he teamed with them to make fun of me and i was so embarrassed ,this is the first time he did that to me we never fight i never thought he would do that to me embarrass me i want to make him suffer so bad im so mad at him i don't know what to do, also please don't tell me revenge is not the answer cuz i want to revenge, thank you.

I'm 14 and last year I was in the same class as one of my best friends and we used to spend a lot of time together and sit with each other on the coach on school trips etc, but this year we only have 1 lesson together and there's someone else (who has nearly all lessons with her) she seems to be hanging out with all the time. Recently she doesn't seem to talk to me as much as before, what should I do to restart our friendship?

So my father was doing some stupid pisssy shiit to pisss me off, so I just ignored him. Complete Silent Treatment. Day 2, I guess he couldn't take it anymore and starts coming up with excuses to talk to me in a verbally abusive way making excuses to come into my room to look for his stuff even though its evidently not there. He took it to the next level by getting up to my face and this resulted in a physical fight that would've put him to the hospital had I not stopped kicking the **** outta him and restrained myself and he got up grunted and left the house. I am packing my stuff to leave and staying with my friend. I ******* hate my father. Lol he couldn't take silent treatment

My friend and I planned to hang out today but I'm sick with a mucus cold. I've been sick since Monday and yesterday he texted me and asked me did I still want to hang out Friday and I said well if I'm not sick you can come over and he said "I wanna come over even if you are sick" and then I asked him well what if you get sick and he said "I'll be okay" then he asked me "can I come take care of you"

We've known each other for only about 8 months now, but we are very close. She is a very open, loving, and accepting person. But I wonder if signing with "love" is too much for somebody I've known less than a year. Plus, I think "love" is reserved for family or a boyfriend/fiancee//husband - not someone of the same sex. So what's a good way to sign with showing enough love indicating we are clearly best friends, but not coming off too strong?

Everytime she sends me a video tht isn't cool for me and that I'm not interested in but I don't want to hurt her feelings when she likes the video instead of me because I like watching different videos. And I don't want to be yell at by her like before which it hurts me and my heart.

So I just started work, it's my first job and they gave me register. I was training for 3 days and I kind of had hard time learning the register and counting. It's ny first job so I was a bit nervous and had anxiety. I was slow picking it up, he complained to my friend and he said your friend is a little "ding ding" she asks him what he means he goes "she's slow and stupid and doesn't know how to count" he also started laughing as he said this & told her not to tell me. I mean I understand he's the boss and they could be strict and mean. But this boss isn't even that strict, If anything he's kind of immature. I feel really hurt what should I do? Help :(

A lot of times me & my best friend to a lot of stuff together so we end up paying no together a lot. We re both college students so we re not exactly rolling in money but there s been plenty of occasions when I ve paid for our food & she says she ll pay me back for her half (same with a few other things like Uber s,etc) even though it s a lot of minimal things she hasn t paid me back for any of it and thinking about all the prices adding up actually cost me a of money since I don t really have much. I don t really want to bring these things up to her as a while has passed, but I m tired of being a pushover and not ever getting paid back. What s something I can do to avoid this in the future with her, is there something(s) I can do/say nicely that say "hey I can t pay for us anymore bec you never pay me back!!" Kinda thing without actually saying that? Lol

say if they constantly harass you, do horrible things to you like burn you with your hot drink or just force you to do things by intimidating pshyically, then is it ok to kill them one day.

Hi I'm a 16 year old high school student and I'm a devoted Cristian. I spend a lot of time with my best friend he is cool, me and him write together and stuff it's fun... but recently I have been feeling a bit odd... I think I'm in love with him... I'm straight or think I am... I have had multiple girl friends but... I think I acutely might be gay for my friend... I don't know what to do... I don't know if I should say something or just keep my mouth shut... I'm so confused.

I have a friend in college and she's awesome. A few semesters ago. I noticed she was cheating off of my paper and told her to stop. She didn't talked to her about it again. She didn't so I just started putting wrong answers on my handout but not bubble sheet and when she started to fail she got the message. She gies through alot but honestly feels like she doesnt try enough. I work, dealing with so much things that I keep inside and she doesn't have to work or anything but her daughter which she has tremendous help with and school. Well lately she's been failing her tests and she cries so uncontrollably and asks me what did I make and I telk hef and I can tell it makes her feel worse so I juat don't tell her. So yesterday she comes to me and asks me if I can help her pass bc I know her situation and she really needs this and don't want to repeat a semester. Then she asks if I can tutor her thing is we have free tutoring at school and Im working right after schooland my time is tight that I can't and I have to study it myself. She's a good friend but right now. I'm in school for me. What can I say or do?

Im a 14 year old girl and yesterday my parents adopted a 13 year old girl. I hated her since the first day!. She was acting really nice to my parents. And when i was talking on the phone yesterday she walked into my room and just sat there watching tv with me on my bed when i told her to get out she was almost crying. Today at breakfeast she took my large pancake and when i told her about it she said oh im sorry andgave it back. Also today at 5 my friends came over were rlly popular at school and anyways we were gonna have a sleepover and then that ugly dumb rat said i wanna join and everyone was talking about her she is so ugly she started crying like a baby. And she told my parents about it now im in trouble for making her depressed. My mom made me go to her room to apologize her room smells horrible. What are some good ways to make her really sad for getting me introuble btw my parents they let me do anything i want.
