Posted: 15 May 2016 04:45 PM PDT Recently, I've become friends with my lab partner in anatomy who is also one of my friend's ex-boyfriends (more on that later). We began texting each other and in my opinion we've become rather good friends. About two weeks ago, I sent him the youtube link to my favorite song at the moment and he replied that he really liked it too. Then, two days later, I received a text from him saying, "oh my gosh, I haven't stopped listening to that song" and three minutes later he sent me a video (however, the screen was all black) of him singing my song and playing the guitar. I've known that he can sing and play but I never really expected this? And it's not a known song, so he had to take the time to learn the chords and plucking as well as the lyrics to the part that he sang. I'm not entirely sure what this all means because no one has ever done something like this to or for me and it's even more complicated because of the history between him and my friend (him and my friend dated last year for two or three months, nothing entirely serious but I know she wouldn't be happy with me if anything did happen). What does this all mean and what should I do about it (if anything)? |

There was a report at the announcement that she was on the loose. She been going out the school gate without permission but this time one of the teacher's saw her. We are on the same ski team and she is in a older age group, but we are in the same grade it is just by year. We used to be really close and always FaceTime and and hangout. She doesn't have any daughters; only three young boys. Right now, I'm away at college and she tries to be present in my life and inquire about my well-being. We talk about almost everything (family, news, her work, school, friends, our health, etc.), send each other pictures, jokes, offer one another support and advice, etc. and try to hang out with each other whenever we are both available. She and I text every day and talk at least once a week on the phone. However, because she has her hands full with work, her own family/siblings, and three little boys, I fear that I bother her way too much. She has a very busy family and many friends to attend to. She always tells me I'm the best niece in the world, but I still worry I annoy her too much. She's one of those kind, loving, and giving souls who always puts the needs of others before herself. I've tried talking with her about it and asking if I bother her, but she's always like, "No worries. You're good. It's fine." So talking with her doesn't do me any good. Personally, I know that if I had a busy family and children with hectic schedules and my niece texted me every day, I would be so bothered; but once or twice a week, probably not. K has arranged us all to go laser tag (the con dose it on different days in groups) but she's going to tell J to book it on the wrong day so J will be all on her own. J isn't the nicest girl but I don't think she deserved to be ditched.also has some metal illness so I'm pretty sure this would destroy her. I was overwhelmed with everything that i couldnt take her attack and such words and i hung up the phone. Than she sent me a msg saying hurtful things and blocked me everywhere. We were put in different classes this year and at first things were totally fine, but I realized she was changing. But recently I just got sick of it and I told some of my other friends I was mad at her. I guess they told other ppl, who in turn told others and then they all told her I was mad at her. Because I always covered everything up she just thought I was randomly mad at her. After that our school had a day off and we were thinking of going to the mall, but nothing was set in stone or anything. I decided to go hang out with two of my other friends instead. So then she got mad at me. I see where she was upset tho, and I apologized for it, and we were fine again. Then two days later we were in math class, and left to go talk to my other friend in the hall, because I promised her I would. I guess she thought i was ditching her again to go into the hall with my other friend so after that she got mad again. Ever since then she's just been freezing me out and she won't talk to me normally long enough for us to actually work out our problems. I don't know how to approach her, what should I do? |

These girls bonded with my mom who is a doctor mostly because they could ask her questions about their body and mostly about their reproductive system. Mom gave them correct information and corrected MANY errors in their thinking about their bodies. This info really opened their eyes and hopefully made for less teenage pregnancies. These girls told their friends about the sleep over and several other girls ask if I would have another sleep over and invite them. I did this and had the same result. They all wanted to talk to my mom about their bodies. I did this 4 times. I am not sure how I should feel about this. I feel a little bit unusual about sharing my mom with these girls. Mom is always available to answer their questions as she has seen the tragic consequences of bad information on teen girls lives. Should I be proud that my mom is available to give these girls the facts of life. Why is it they feel so free to talk to my mom with their questions and will not talk to their parents. |

Many of these women are single moms and their job is their only source of income. The company told us that if we upgraded our skills to use a computer it would be easier to find other jobs in the company. They got a former employee Bill to volunteer to train us on computers on our lunch hour. Bill also on his own time spent many hours at night and weekends training us. It was hard work for us but luckily we all found other jobs with the company. Bill is a 22 year old cute single guy that we all love what he did for us. Yesterday he picked me up late at night and we went to the park to get high, then we went to get food and then we went back to the park. It was cold so we stayed in the car. He never hinted towards wanting to have sex but when the conversation go dull and I was laying on the seat he just started to kiss me. And from there it escalated. We ended up doing it twice and he came twice. After that we payed there for a minute since he was tired and then we started to get dressed. Besides saying that it was good, he said that we couldn't tell our friend (because she would be pissed off since they are best friends and I'm her friend). And then he dropped me off and told me that he would get back to me for the next time that we can hang out. But it wouldn't be for sex, it would be a Dave n busters trip with our friend. He got a concussion two days ago and the doctor told him no physical activity or using electronics for 2 weeks, both of which he disregarded completly with me. When he got home he texted me that tonight was awesome, and that now he has to work on healing his head -which I completely understand.. But he went from texting me all the time to nothing at all. I don't know if this is because of the sex or the concussion or both.. How badly is this going to affect our friendship? I don't want things to get awkward between us or for the friendship to fail. |

He speaks extremely loudly, blurts out personal things in public, pretends he s the best friend in the world by buying gifts and writing long messages, compliments himself, AND fishes for them, but worst of all, he never gives me personal space. He s a big guy, probably 200 some pounds, and he always hugs or leans on me- for a whole 5 minutes, even if I m writing or typing. I tell him, "Hey I m kinda busy..." But he doesn t budge! He ll rub his head on my shoulder and hold my hand, he even grabs my hair and plays with it. I ll move away but he doesn t get the message. He ll follow me and grab it again. Everywhere I go, he feels compelled to follow me. And there s another guy that follows me every morning. I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE. Every morning I sit down in a quiet classroom where my crush usually is and he follows me there. He always blurts out random, annoying things and makes weird gestures like a wet dog shaking off the water after a bath-in public. And he acts like I m his pet and gets super defensive. I just don t want to be his friend because I ve told him I feel super uncomfortable when he does certain things and he didn t stop! Ughh but he ll be a jerk if I so much as distance myself from him. I don't know what to do... the trampoline park is going to have about 500 kids in it my friends house will have 2 teens, no parents (although my parents may not let me go there) and at my house we are getting countertops installed so i will just be in my room all day 1. what do you think? 2. which number should i do? 3. what would you do? |

And I should be excited right, but I'm honestly not looking forward to it. So basically heres the thing: since i was like 5 years old all the way to 8th grade, i stuck with the same friend group, and they were all amazing ppl and they always celebrated my birthday at school and it was always really special.I was surprised with balloons, cards, gifts, etc. But I now go to a new high school, and none of the people in my old friend group go here,but different schools. So when I first came into high school, I was super closed off I didn't talk to anyone I just didn't know how to cope with not having all of my best friends. So I didnt know anyone in that lunch so I all of a sudden had to start making new friends, talking to people,and I found this new group. The thing is, I feel as if I am just a member of a group and not anyone special, I dont feel particularly close to anyone. I dont know if they are going to do anything for my birthday I dont think they will because they probably dont even know it. And this makes me really sad and alone because I feel for one day I should get some attention! I see kids walking around my school with posters and balloons on their birthdays and it starts eating away at me because what if i dont get the same? I know my old friends will still remember it and email me (we like facetime every weekend), but i want to be recognized at school! what do i do! |

Posted: 15 May 2016 12:40 PM PDT She started yelling about being a fake bi*tch (which is far from truth) at me when i was in depression (because of certain other things in my life) because i told her i was hurt by our other friend who ignored me again (after many times already and i told that girl in the face before) when i wanted to hang out..but not in a bad way of course. I was overwhelmed with everything that i couldnt take her attack and such words and i hung up the phone. Than she sent me a msg saying hurtful things and blocked me everywhere. After that she told people we know how she decided to never talk to me again and that she is feeling a lot better without me in her life since that day. everyone is trying to get a reason out of her but she only says "dont even try to change my mind" and cant answer the question at all (which is logical) Big disclaimer: i never ever ever harmed this girl or said a bad word about her i swear to god, nor am i a bad person that does bad stuff. I actually helped her a lot during life in every way, she was the first person to know everything that happened to me since kindergarden, even smallest things, she raised my sibling with me, we were even more than sisters to the day of this attack. I guess she started taking more care of this other friend all of sudden |

However, now, all she does is make fun of me and make me feel like a total outsider. For example, whenever I do something with my hair or something she always says stuff like OMG it looks no different and oh its not very nice. She always goes on about how perfect others are and then when i do the same thing they do she is like meh. I dont know what to think. She always says rude stuff about me and insults me and for example says stuff like oh u have no friends, nobody likes you, you are so ugly, you are always trying to show off to the boys and drags this on and on and on and then she always is like its just a joke, jeez why do you never get jokes, Friend X always gets jokes why cant you. And whenever I get upset by the things she says she is like omg you are so sensitive and spoilt. I confronted her about how I felt and how I was going through a hard time and would appreciate it if she was just a bit less harsh and she was like oh so youre calling me a bully and a crap friend. I was like no I'm just stating facts. She went on and told all my other friends that I was calling her a bully and I was blaming her for everything and talking behind her back. Then nobody from my group talked to me for a really long time and then she went on and started making jokes about what I confronted her about saying stuff like oh XY are you feeling INSECURE today ahahahahahhahah. Now I moved to a different school but I'm still close by to them and slowly they have been Ignoring me online and never reply to my texts. It hurts so bad. They post pictures of them online hanging out and I commented "without me?" And the girl who posted it completely ignored my comment. Another friend texted me one day and I was so happy but.it was just to ask me when was the birthday of the girl he liked and it made me feel bad. And it has been long gone since and they always update their profile pictures so I know they are active. I have absolutely no other friends at this new school and no one is the kind of person I'd hang out with. I miss my old school and friends. What can I do? I already have anxiety and I've been super sad. I just really want to feel important and wanted again. Absolutely none of them talk to me or even care anymore. I have this caring friend that, as a friend is wonderful but as a co-worker , she takes me for granted like if I had help her with something she asked as a favor, next days she acts like that assignment is not hers anymore, and asks me if I already did it. I have and never will get new friends or even find love, would it be best for me just to drop out now and live the rest of my life in my dad's basement? (At least he accepts me) |

(*This project is being done on Google Docs) I have a friend that is being super annoying and spoiled a the moment. e are doing a group project together with 5 other people(7 in total) and she' being pretty spoil t, but not in the way you would think. Yes she gets everything she wants, plus everything I want a million times better on purpose but that's not it. During the time we get to work on our project at school, she hogs our laptop (our school doesn't have enough money to get a lot of electronics) and uses it to work on HER PART which should've been done at least a week ago. Thanks to this we get net to nothing done all the time (Don't suggest bringing our own laptops to school please. Our teacher doesn't usually tell us when we get class time). No offense to her but her work isn't that good, as in the content AND the grammar. We tried to fix the grammar first because grammar is either right or wrong but she wouldn't have any of it. She let the grammar stay but she warned us not to touch her part. (Warned is a nice way to put it). Then au lieu of a typical tantrum, she went and changed our parts and made them sound stupid. She ten proceeded to make her part longer by cutting it off other people's parts. Worst of all she's the teacher's pet and we all told the teacher but our teacher just said she didn't believe that my friend was making our project worse. We don't LET her do anything. She takes it since she sits closest to the computers and then she never gives it. One of my group members, he tried to take a laptop before she got there. It worked well enough until she asked for it. She asked to edit it so we (reluctantly) let her and I didn't see a computer screen for the rest of the period. If we don't give it she starts crying her face off. We go to the library, but we never get any work done... |

He told me I don't sound intelligent when I speak, but his other friends sound intelligent either. So one day I told him to f off and that he was a fake friend. But yet hes mad at me, he has no right in the world to be mad at me, he was the one who kept talking down on me and lashed out. So Bob and me have been friends for about a 2-3 months, and I haven't had any other friends since elementary school. About a month ago I asked Bob out, she said she'd think about it. Two days ago Bob got her phone fixed (had been broken since we've been friends) and we had a short conversation about school (I know, lame) Yesterday I texted her a joke that I think she might've somehow been offended by ("So are you one of those girls who requires me to say something smart, or can I be myself?") And she hasn't responded in 23 hours? Should I just completely give up on even being friends with her and just ignore her now? |
