He initiated our relationship and made some very serious moves (saying I love you, suggested merging bank accounts, I moved in, etc) then he pulled a 180 and expressed to me his ex wife wanted to get back together and work on their marriage. Needless to say I was heartbroken because literally the day before he was showering me with attention and love. I end up moving out however his 'wife' is living with her boyfriend still (she cheated on my ex with her boyfriend) and my ex and I are still talking and sleeping together. When we sleep together, it's very passionate. He holds me, kisses me everywhere, looking into each other's eyes, we fall asleep with him holding me. He's just so hot and cold though and I know his wife's motives are not genuine. She is after money and wants him to continue paying her bills. I believe that's the only reason she mentioned getting back together at all. Once she saw I was living with him I think she became territorial in a way. I just want an opinion because this is very complicated and confusing. It all started when he told me he was on his way to pick me up and he lives about 25 minutes from my house. An hour passed and I text him to see if he's almost here. He texts me to say he's going to a gas station to get snacks with his sister. So I wait another hour and text him. No response. Then I try Face-timing him 30 minutes after I've tried texting and still.... No response. So my sister said I should try calling him from her number and he picks up. I didn't say anything and just hung up. Honestly, I felt guilty but this isn't the first time he's said he's doing something when he's not. So he calls me from my number and I ask him what he's doing and he says nothing mind you he's sitting in his car alone. So I ask if he's coming to pick me up then he says I have something to do then I'll let you know. So I say ok and he hangs up. 2 more hours pass and I call him again and ask if he was really at the gas station for an hour and a half and I ask him what he's doing then he says these exact words "you're crazy you think I'm lying to you and I'm just with my sister I'm breaking up with you because you're crazy". I never said he was lying I just asked what he was doing then he got defensive and broke up with me. I'm not sure if it's my fault or his. Was I wrong to not trust him? |

Well we decided not to go through with that. A few years later, we ran into each other as she was visiting my Church on Christmas Eve and it felt a little awkward. (FYI, she didn't know it was my church, but I digress) Anyway, a few years after that, I started seeing her at my retail job, and I was always the one checking her out at my register! And each encounter actually got less and less awkward each time, as she would always talk about what she was buying or what was going on in her life! And I ended up seeing her again at my job the other day but she got the register next to mine this time as we had Covid_19 dividers in between each register and from where my register was, you can't see who's waiting to come next. | Question: Is it pedophilia for an 18-19 year old to be attracted to a 16-17 year old? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 05:18 PM PDT I've heard a lot of people say it is, but this doesn't make sense to me. Isn't pedophilia attraction to prepubescent children (under 13)? 16 is also the legal age of consent where I live, even though people tend to assume it's 18 everywhere. |
