Posted: 06 Jul 2020 06:01 PM PDT I have a few friends that do this, and I'm not sure if this is a trend or if it's common but I find it odd. I have several friends that will literally ignore text messages I send them ( even though I know they have viewed my messages because it says "seen"). My messages can be either just a hello, how are you or something more important....but either way, some of these friends literally just don't respond back. And I will send them a few messages over a period of a couple months....but no response from any of them. Btw, these people don't know each other....so that has nothing to do with it. Then, like out of the blue.....they reappear! They call me, wanting to know how I'm doing....they want to hang out and do things....they act like a real friend. Then....they disappear not responding to messages again for weeks months. Should I ask them what's going on? And btw....is this a common thing other people deal with? |

Posted: 06 Jul 2020 05:06 PM PDT I purposely took advantage of a female friend who came to see how I was doing. I'm depressed about issues that are far more significant than just the fact that I was still a virgin. However, I wanted to get laid so badly that I manipulated my friend into feeling enough pity for me that she would willingly have sex with me. Now I feel extremely guilty. I told my other female friend about what I did and she refuses to be my friend until I tell Alexis whatI did and why I did it. I also have to apologize with both of them present. |

Question: I'm scared of my relationship with my best friend? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 04:35 PM PDT Hello, I'm afraid for my friendship with my best friend. Since March, we started to have a lot of disagreement until we didn't speak for several days... one day I went to a site that shows signs of a toxic relationship and out of the 15 there were 10 that corresponded to the situation! Sometimes when we are supposed to laugh she takes advantage of it to spit in my face what she doesn't like about me but I don't say anything because I'm afraid that it's just her humor and that I just made a mistake and then she gets angry or that I hurt her feelings or even that I look like the bad guy. And also every time these arguments start, she almost always says that I'm trying to victimize myself and that I'm making her think she's toxic when she's not. Sometimes I wonder if she manipulates me because she has manipulated people before and more often it's just a misunderstanding because she often shows me a lot of affection or even that she doesn't want me anymore because she's rather distant and I know her and she does things she does with people she wants to break up with. Anyway, I'd just like to know what's going on because it's upsetting to me. |
Question: What are the most annoying things about parents? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 03:57 PM PDT To me, they worry too much. My dad isn't such a worry baby, but my mom is. She wants me to make new friends on bike rides. She also doesn't want me to talk to other kids on bike rides because they might be bullies. It's annoying. My mom also thinks I'm a little kid. I am 13. She won't let me be a babysitter. |
Question: Being friends with someone who did a Psychic reading on you? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 02:22 PM PDT This online friend of mine did a psychic reading on me. And it kind of was like we delved into a lot of deep stuff I wasn't expecting him to know, followed by 'what did you get for lunch. He is a nice guy and I want to keep being friends but feel weird now. Thoughts? |

Question: Why do women touch me when they speak to me? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 12:02 PM PDT I like it but why do they do it? Maybe these certain women are just all touchey feely. |
Question: Should I booby-trap my roommate? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 11:27 AM PDT My roomie is constantly taking my stuff without asking (and without ever giving back or replacing). He takes food, clothes, laundry detergent, toilet paper and more. I've asked him so many times to not do this. It's become so bad that I hide much of my non-perishable food in my closet (and he still snoops there to take it). Just now, I realized he will do his laundry later today. I was daydreaming about spiking *my* laundry detergent with either bleach or dye. I would play innocent that I was doing it for my own use and that he just happened to take it without asking (oops).... But I dunno...I kinda feel guilty about doing this. Asking him to stop, telling him to stop, hiding it from him, etc., does no good. Should I spike the laundry detergent?? |
Question: How do I stop myself from doing this? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 11:27 AM PDT Alan, my ex husband and I are on friendly terms. We did not have any children. Two times in the last 3 years I ran into financial difficulty. I could not pay my rent or car payments. I called Alan and told him my problem and he gave/loaned (I am not sure which) me the money to solve my problems no questions asked. He never ask for the money back. Another time my computer died and I ask Alan how I would get it fixed. He sent a repair tech out to fix the computer and when I tried to pay the tech, he said Alan had prepaid him for the service call. My friends tell me I have to stop asking Alan for help if I ever expect to live on my on. I think that is probably true especially if he gets married again. However it is hard to get a loan from a commercial source and so easy to just call Alan and he will solve my problem no matter what the problem is. How do I stop my self from taking the easy way out and calling Alan when I have a financial problem? ALL ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. |
Question: I'll miss you a close friend told me? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 11:15 AM PDT Does that mean goodbye?! For she told me she need time n space from each other. It sucks n hurts much |
Question: How do I take revenge against cyber bullying? ? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 10:56 AM PDT Ok yeah the question seems super intense and dramatic but like I really need someone to help me out here. So basically, some kid in my school has been posting horrible things about people from my school with a fake meme account. I'm 19 and all of us have already graduated from school and I wouldn't have gone this far as to post such a question on yahoo, but this kid posted a horrible thing about one of my close friends so it got kinda personal. Now, this is just an immature kid probably 12 or 13 but they have been spamming their IG account with horrible posts about students and teachers and I feel like I want to teach them a lesson. No I don't wanna hurt the kid because they're just a kid after all. But I really want to find out their identity and report this to their parents and the teachers. The things that they have been posting is absolutely horrible. NOW MY PROBLEM IS: How the heck do I find out the identity of a meme account? The only answer is to get someone to hack it BUT I DONT KNOW ANY HACKERS. Do you guys have any ideas as to how I can find out this account's identity without resorting to any hacking because I don't know how that stuff works. Also I don't wanna hurt the kid or say anything mean towards them. I just want their parents to know about this and just put a stop to this. That's all. |
Question: Will i be friendless my whole life? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 08:35 AM PDT I am white but I hate white people because what we did to the other people. Around blacks and others I feel to ashamed to be friends. I think i will be alone forever |
Question: How do I reassure my friend that they will succeed? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 07:43 AM PDT I have a friend who is very confident but also very impatient. They work hard yet recently has begun "doubting"(?) themself. This friend aspires to one day run their own business. Sometimes I get text messages like "How can I become a boss if I never get started because I'm always working for someone else?" I always remind them that success takes time and they just have to focus on the goal. I guess that's not enough. Is there a better way I can reassure my friend that they will succeed? |
Question: Have you ever been in a one-sided friendship? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 04:53 AM PDT I've had people i havent spoken to since the 5th grade (literally had to do with borrowing a pencil), go 10 years telling people that we are friends "because we had a class together before, we go way back". Idk how i got into a situation where i was stuck with people introducing me to everyone what THEY think of me instead of allowing people to do it for themselves. I swear I'm scarred for life because friendships are harder to make now since I'm thinking someone might make it hard for me to move on with my own life. I'm a nice person but i had no idea so many people invested so much time in a person who they know wouldn't and havent said Hi. What about you? |
Question: What does 'want you to be ok' mean here? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 03:18 AM PDT PLEASE HELP ME INTERPRET THIS - I HAVE ASPERGERS AND STRUGGLE TO. I said to someone on my Facebook that 'I have no friends to talk to anymore' when I was feeling a little down. 'Hi Tom, I hope you're ok. Has something made you feel this way today? Because like i've said before, i dont know anyone that hates you. There are lots of people who care about you and want you to be ok' Tl;dr - Do you think that the person who said this to me is my friend? |
Question: Why does my mood change so fast? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 02:24 AM PDT One minute, I think I'm the ugliest thing ever and people would burn their eyes if they look at me. The next minute, I think I'm cute and that I have the best life ever. I'm a teen girl, if this has anything to do with it. I don't feel this always, but sometimes. Like I know it's not a disorder. It's kinda rare, doesn't always happen. |
Question: My best friend was raped. By me. Should I tell him it was me? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 11:03 PM PDT We got really drunk and he decided to spend the night at my place instead of driving home. He passed out lying on his stomach wearing only his undies. I got a ***** and stuck it in there and you know, did him. He woke up and said his but hurts and I told him he sat on a beer bottle and it went up his butt. He seemed to accept thaat explanation. |
Question: Why are black people so chill? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 09:09 PM PDT Nothing seems to overwhelm them to much that they lose thier cool. Wish I was like that. Why is that though? |
Posted: 05 Jul 2020 08:58 PM PDT I'm a girl and live in Glendale,Ca and the Armenians here are just horrible people.Ever since elementary school I've had bad experiences with them.I was friends with some Armenian girl in elementary school and her dad didn't allow her to invite me to her party cause I was black. In middle school and high school Armenians guys and girls would bully me.There was this one time where some Armo guy would bully me because of my weight and hit in the back of head with a basketball in PE.I even had these two guys whisper and point at me and laugh and call me Michael Jackson.Romantically Armenian guys wouldn't want anything serious with me they would just want to try to have seeex with me.When I'm walking behind old Armenians they always look back at me constantly as if I'm going to do something to them and then they let me walk ahead of them.Everytime I am out I get stared at by Armenians.I just can't see anything good about these people all I've had were bad experiences.A lot of them have ignorant views too.Is it okay for me to hate them ? Is it justified ? If they see me out walking they walk the other direction.I am just so sick of the ignorant people in this city. |
