Question: How do you tell a friend that you can't help them financially nicely? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 05:06 PM PDT What would you do if a friend is asking you money for gambling? They've lost all of their money previously and are in debt. They want more money for gambling because they believe they'll win this time. What other help or advice would you give to this friend |
Question: Why do some guys get jealous so easily? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 05:04 PM PDT My BF had wanted me to ask another guy something and then I later sent him the screenshot so he can see what was said. I didn't think it was a big issue but my BF was a little jealous that I sent the other guy smiley faces (I do this with everyone). I think my BF overreacted because he said, "I don't force anyone to stay with me". But I reassured him that it was nothing and I think everything is fine now because our other plans are still happening. |

Question: Am I doing the right thing? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 04:47 PM PDT Yesterday I just cut off my friendship of 10 years with someone. I always feel nothing positive all we do is talk about drama, the past, and I have to lie about myself because when I have my own beliefs and whatever she'll have a problem with it and I always feel like I'm only a friend when she wants something in total I gave her over $700, but I never had got anything in return and sometimes I don't expect nothing back. The cycle is I give her money she ask and have conversation and then not hear from her for 2 weeks to a month and she wants something. She has a baby and she and her bf broke and packed up and left she live in Hampton and she told me all her problems With her bf asking for money after not hearing from her for a month and she out of the blue asked me for money and I got mad and told her off. Every time things goes wrong for her with the guys and her telling me about her having no money no vehicle and whatever the burden lies on me and I feel that I have to buy her friendship and conversation and she apologize even when she apologize I forgave but I cut her off. I never got anything positive about the friendship that we had so I wished her best of luck and happiness in life and with her schooling and cut her loose? Am I doing the right thing or should I feel bad and guilty? |
Question: My bff has a problem? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 04:13 PM PDT She always has a mcchicken in her purse. ALWAYS. She calls it her "mcclutchen" or "mcpursie" she has multiple nicknames for it. At first it was just kind of odd, and fairly funny tbh. But now I'm wondering if I should be concerned. She's always got one! Makes me wonder how many she eats? It can't be healthy. But more so I'm concerned because it seems like it's an obsession or compulsion at this point. She says she just doesn't feel safe without it or that she "feels naked without her mcsatchel" or her "bagburgie." Should I be worried? |
Question: My mom is now suspicious of my friend? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 03:06 PM PDT I have a friend that my mom used to be on wonderful terms with, but ever since we got a swimming pool, she's been really suspicious of. Whenever my friend wants to come over, I get told "she only wants you for the pool.". She's also a Messianic Jew and my mom doesn't understand why her family dances at their services. She doesn't believe it's worship and she thinks it's odd that my friend posts her congregation's services online and sometimes makes me watch them. My mom won't stop acting like this and it really bothers me. I've been friends with this girl for over 5 years and both of our moms are close. What should I do? |
Question: My friend stops talking tome when i get upset with her? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 01:05 PM PDT My friend has been ignoring me for days so i got upset and logged out of my online accounts So I wouldn't get any messages from her. She asked me why i did so and I explained how she ignores me and its upsetting me, so she got up walked away and blocked me everywhere. |
Question: How to make new friends when moving to a new place? ? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 01:02 PM PDT I go to school in MA but I'm moving down to Boca Raton in Florida and I'm nervous about not being able to make friends. I am currently going to school in MA but since I'm about to be a senior, I'm just doing online classes instead of transferring because it wouldn't make any sense to transfer this late so i don't think I could make friends through college. I am so excited for this move and this big change but I'm also nervous. How do you make friends when you're moving to a new town? |

Question: Am I right or wrong to back out of this deal? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 10:44 AM PDT My friend and I were planning on building a custom go-kart over the summer. He is the metal fabricator/welder, I am the mechanic of the project by handling all the mechanics. MAY 2020: The deal we made was that we pay 50/50 for all the material (metal, engine, axels, etc). We both agreed to this. We both guaranteed to each other that it will be done by August as we will grind the hell out of building it. JUNE 2020: All the parts come finally, the frame is welded and we are ready to put everything on now. Currently, everything has cost $800 each. ($1600 total) JULY 2020: He tells me his parents are selling his house and they have to be out by August. He needs to work as it is more important than building the go-kart. He said that we would work extra hours in the shop at night to build it to meet our deadline of August. A few weeks later he has the genius idea to want to take it to the other state where he is moving and we can build it there. I said I do not agree with this anymore and asked why can't we just build it at his house and if that means he takes off of work then he has to take off of work. He said he has bigger priorities than that but we can do it in the other state he is moving too. Am I wrong for getting mad and telling him I want out of the deal now and I am coming to pick up what I paid for? I don't think it is right how everything is changing now and I need to work around his problems. What would you do in this situation? Am I wrong? |
Question: Please help me with this ? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 08:55 AM PDT Does it mean if you have obsessive thoughts about a person but it's just thoughts that you have does it mean you're actually obsessed with them? |
Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:41 AM PDT So I tried to have sex with my friend (abby) sister and she found out and told our group what happened and they all blocked me and are mad at me. So I tried texting my best friend (vic) who is in the group and blocked me also. So I texted one of vics friends and asked about vic and she said that she needs time and she's hurt right now. but I don't understand why she's hurt if it wasn't even her sister. do y'all know why? |
Question: Should I cut them out of my life? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:38 AM PDT I moved away to another state 2 years ago. My friends talked to me a lot in the first year after I moved. Texted me everyday and called me. Now Everytime i ask if they wanna call they make up an excuse at the last minute as to why they can't call. They've canceled on me Everytime and I don't know what I did wrong. They don't text me anymore unless I text them first and even then they respond hours later or not at all. Should I cut them out of my life? |

Posted: 11 Jul 2020 02:13 AM PDT Im going to explain exactly what happend that night. Her Nephew & I used to be good friends. Her nephews name is Wesley well he wanted to hang out one day & talk because he was having some trouble I don't remember exactly what the was just a problem with one of his best friends , I just can't recall the problems . Well he was doing drugs & I didn't want any part of it so I told him its best we don't see each other or talk because he was doing really bad drugs . I just didn't want to be around it. I know he was having problems I offered to help him the best i could but he didn't see any problem with what he was doing. I agreed to just talk to him but refused to be around him because of the drug use. Well he got upset &, called his aunt , my sister in law . Her name is Renee . He called me back & told me a bunch of lies that she said. He told me that she said I was being to hard on him & not understanding & he told me she said I was acting like I didn't care about anyone.. He was lieing but I didn't know that , I should not have believed him but at the time i did believe him. Also remember I had been really upset that day & had not even had any sleep because my medicine was messed up at the time. I wasn't on the right medicine for my depression . Well renee my sister in law sent me a text message right at the time he was telling me lies about what she had said. She texted me saying for him and I to stop fighting because she loves us well i took it the wrong way. I called her up on the phone , like I said i believed what Wesley told me & I called her &, said listen Bit** then I explained what was going on. She informed me she never said any of that to him & that since I called her that bad name she was washing her hands of me. She has not talked to me since. I did try to Apologize but she said she washed her hands of me & had chosen not talk to any Relationship with me at all. She has done a lot over the years to help me and I hurt her. I feel terrible about what I have said . Is there any way I can make this right? I am in a lot of pain and depression over what I said and her not wanting a relationship with me. |
Posted: 11 Jul 2020 12:17 AM PDT Note: Shes like a sister to me because she said I can always talk to her about anything. And She will tell me what's best for me as a friend because she cares about me alot like a sister.we were in 1st grade when we first knew each other. We used to live across from each other and knock on each other's door to hang out and now it's like we don't even spend time with each other like we used too. She goes to college in Delaware and ever since she came back from college on winter break she let me stay over her house for one week and she been going out with her other friends alot while I'm at her house left hanging all alone in her living room feeling alone and mad. She changed alot when came back from college I'm happy that she in college and she made new friends. I just felt left out she left me in her house alone and hung out with her other friends like three times and I'm getting board and is ready to go home I went over her house for nothing. Like it was a waste of time but I forgive her. |
Question: Why does Federal Authorities want to talk to Prince Andrew? Posted: 10 Jul 2020 09:52 PM PDT I have no idea why does the federal authorities want talk to Prince Andrew. I get he was friends with Jeff Epstein, now he is person of interest. Do they want to arrest him or extradite him. I thought the royal family is friends with Trump, plus it will be an international incident trying to arrest a royal family. Prince Andrew did nothing wrong, they don't have a right to question him. I do not know why they have a right. If he was dead, it would be easier to avoid the authorities. Donald Trump is friends with Jeff Epstein. Do they have a right to harass the president. Harassing the royal member of the family. Would lead to another war, I have no idea why the federal authorities want to push him for an interview. |
Question: How do I have a productive talk with my parents? Posted: 10 Jul 2020 09:04 PM PDT Im 19 years old and have had a pretty good relationship with my parents. After i graduated high school i got a job that i love and made some new friends through it. Ive never been so close to a group of friends and have had such a good time with people. I have developed an AMAZING friendship with one of them named Andrea. We are absolute best friends and idk what id do without her. But weve been caught sneaking out multiple times. So my parents dont like her at all and they think we are dating. My parents are not homophobes but they dont support that kind of stuff. My parents made a rule that we cant be in a room alone anymore. So their trust with me and my friend are gone. I snuck out this last time with her and got caught. She came to drop me off back at home and my dad told her that she is no longer allowed to see me or talk to me. Im leaving for a church mission in a week for 2 years. But i wanna talk to my parents about how they dont treat me like an adult. They make me turn in my phone every night, and im not allowed to hangout with friends anymore. As soon as i come back from my mission my plan is to move out as soon as possible. But im planning on moving out with Andrea. How do i talk to my parents productively about me saying i want to hangout with who i want and they shouldnt have a right to say no? They are very controlling parents and as soon as i talk about having more freedom they flip out. And they dont trust me at all. |
Posted: 10 Jul 2020 07:38 PM PDT I cant avoid this person because I I have to live with them being my sister but anyone else who says it it smart but then when I say it then she is against it and she has to always give feedback and people listen to her for some reason. which has caused me to be afraid to speak. Anytime someone has anything to compliment or my accomplishment she has something to say to discredit it. I try to stand up for myself and people see it as causing drama. My friends come over and their point of view change and then I get left out of family gatherings and not invited. In family conversations she pushes me out and overpowers me and makes family not agree with me and she turns around and says the same thing. |
Question: Why was he surprised? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 11:15 AM PDT My BF and I had an argument and he was saying how he doesn't need me, that single life is better, etc. I asked if he meant that he doesn't need me and then he was silent and looked taken back. After we made up, he said to not mind the negative stuff he said. |
