we met this guy and his wife today and i used to really like his brother. My friend asked how his brother was and he replied about how he is going on a holiday and meeting up with his gf and qualifying in university etc. The guy is in his 40s. Then the mans wife says now all he needs to do is actually get a job.

So my fiancé who I was supposed to marry next month just left me out of the blue with no warning, and at this point I just want to die. I have no family or friends or anyone for support whatsoever either and I don't know what to do. I feel like the world is ending and I just have nothing left in my life. She was the only person I had and now that's gone, and now I feel worthless. Because of this I hate people now, like everyone, and don't want to be around them anymore, I just want to be dead. I also want to quit my job and leave the country forever.  This whole experience has honestly taught me never to trust anyone ever again so I refuse to let anyone into my life. And therefore I will never interact with people again, because I hate them all and all people are evil. I'm honestly just worried that the next girl I date is going to do the same exact thing, who knows?

I haven't spoken to my former coworker since mid January that I used to be acquaintances with just for a few months. We weren't close. But I was wondering would it be weird to hit her up 6 months later to ask how she's doing? I'm very socially awkward and self conscious lol so i've been nervous to contact . If it's not weird, does anyone have any advice how I should approach a conversation? We follow each other on twitter.

I went round a friend's house since school was closing and I wasn't gonna see her for a while. It started pretty normal, we watched a film and played some games, then we went to her room and lied on her bed and just talked. I'd never viewed her in a sexual way before but she was wearing a much more revealing shirt than usual and since she was lying on her side, her boobs were sort of being pressed together. I was lying at a point where I could see down her shirt and just tried to ignore it as best I could. Eventually we both sat up and I couldn't take it anymore. I have family that cares about me which I'm thankful for but I have to put on a front with them like everything is ok I only have two friends who are special to me but I feel we don't know each other deeply I don't have a partner Everything feels superficial and I don't feel connected to anyone There was a person I felt a strong bond with but they died

Talking to me and that they cannot be my friends anymore.  I tried talking to one of the girls at recess and she told me their mom doesn't want them to talk to them anymore. Their mom was my teachers aide and she used to compliment me about my hair and outfits. She was nice to me but why did she decide she didn't want her daughters to be my friends anymore? I wasn't a bad kid I was shy reserved and quiet. 

One of my former friends had a bad habit of making me look like an *** repeatedly. We would make plans months in advance and days before he'd cancel and give me the lamest excuse as to why he couldn't make it. Also he had this habit of being a no call no show too, we'd make plans to go for a drink and I'd text him to confirm a time and I never heard back from him and he wouldn't show up, but then 3 weeks later he would text me back like nothing happened. Over time I grew tired of his bullshit excuses and him making me look like an ***. So I iced him out of my life and when it happened he acted all butthurt like he was surprised I had enough of his ****. What do you think? 

I live in Minnesota and I'm 16 years old. I basically keep lying to my friends. I tell them stuff like I have a girlfriend and I have friends other than them I just can't stop.

I lie a lot for no reason. I lie to my family and even my friends. I don't really remember the lies I tell. I want to start so I can live honestly. I hate the fact that I do this and want to stop. I'm afraid that they will find me uninteresting and dull. How can I be a better me? 

This guy I dated had a pitbull and I hated it. I hate dogs in general. And it annoyed me that it slept in the same room as us. He acted like if we ever got serious and moved in I would get rid of my cats. Like no honey I'm not getting rid of my cats for a stinky mutt. 

There's a girl I used to work with. She quit her job at my work place maybe 2 months before the pandemic started. She was my friend on Facebook, Instagram, and even LinkedIn. When she worked with me, we always got along. Didn't really hang out outside of work though. But she was always nice at work and seemed friendly. I noticed only a few days ago she posted on her Instagram story. Then last night I wanted to view her Instagram and couldn't find it. I thought she deleted me, but she blocked me. Then I went on Facebook, same thing, I'm blocked. I checked LinkedIn too. She deleted me. Why would she suddenly do this? Sorry I meant to say "why did my former coworker delete me"

Mine sure did. Early 7th was the year I got into a fight with my best friends and I became a loner for a while. They started telling everyone crap about me, that I guess some of it was true ( looking back ). It made a lot of people hate me. In that time, I found myself acting weird just to get attention from other people. Because the attention itself was better than being by myself. I had a couple friends but they were really weird and annoying and I wouldnt even call them friendships. I was always socially awkward too, so that made things even worse. In 8th, I got a group of friends again but I felt like I didn't belong. Like I was the most hated one in there. Probably because of how I was labeled as a weird kid in the previous year. 9th grade is when things took a turn for the better. I became more popular, gained some real friends, and became way likable. Ever since then, the worst that happened in our group was drama that didn't really involve me, thank God. 10th and 11th were really good too. I'm currently going to be a senior. Looking back on my crappy middle school years, I wish I could rewirte them. It makes me cringe that I know know everything I did to result in everyone not liking me. If I could go back with the knowledge I have now, I would have the best experience. Then, however, I leanred that many people have bad middle school experiences. It's those awkward years, I guess, and it makes everyone act different.
