My ex wife and I are on good terms considering we're divorced. On my son's birthday we'll go out together and eat dinner as a family since he likes that. My girlfriend and I love each other very much and I could see myself remarrying her one day but I'm nervous about how my son will react. My son is 4, I have dated in the past but my son never met any of my exes. How can I introduce my son to my girlfriend? We have a ton in common but the timing was never right and I haven't really made a move. I don't know if she knows I'm romantically interested, I think she HAS to since her friends both know I had a thing for her. *These past few days were a lot of fun. We took two good pictures together. There were a bunch of things where we were talking about cool things going on and she said "yeah we should do that that'd be fun!" Not over the top enthusiastic but definitely was interested in doing more (going to my cousin's concert, comedy club, etc). She even mentioned visiting my house. I told her about my two week trip to Europe and she thought it was so cool! I said "you should come with me" and she seemed pretty interested in going! It'll be next June, but we talked about it and she said to give her my itinerary and she would really consider it. I don't know if she's ever showed this much interest in hanging out one on one before... It has to be romantic interest right? She doesn't know I'm single and I didn't bring it up, so maybe that's why she wasn't super over-the-top ecstatic to hang out. It was more "yeah that'd be fun!" I was annoyed because one of her friends said "I could give you (name) number he is moving to the city" and she wasn't opposed to the idea, so wasn't sure if she just didn't like me. |

After the conversation I immediately felt that she was a little nervous. It took her 2-3 seconds to respond to a few questions I asked. Which has me thinking that she's taking the time to think about the best thing to respond with. But she seemed fairly calm and relaxed during the conversation. Which doesn't really point to being nervous unless she was trying to control her breathing or something. From June through this current month (september 2018) he has taken her on 3 more all expenses paid weekend trips to state parks, museums, stayed at a cabin one weekend and cooked her a $150 meal. Is this likely true love and he admires her so much that he wants to go out of his way to spoil and impress her? Why would a man do all of that for a girl he's known for such a short time? |

We talk through her issues, very serious issues, panick attacks and I stay and calm her down try to help her and ease her stress with my voice as she would say. I made her special birthday art mix her with her favorite character and things are usually fine but we have relationship rules, mainly rules she would kinda come up with and rule I didnt mind and agreed with, Neither of us were too big on friend of the opposite gender, You can have them just dont be all over the place about it. We tell each other we love one another often, but Ive always wondered to what degree he loves me. Im too afraid to ask. I have always been attracted to him in every way, but never told him before because we were both in relationships and I already knew that I dont want to lose him, or make things wierd. We recently started sexting each other pretty regularly. The conversations get very personal and steamy (yes, there are pictures involved). I do trust him with my life, so that is not an issue. I have brought up the fact that actually acting on our desires may ruin everything and he doesn t seem to understand my concerns. He keeps saying that it wont change anything. I understand that he wants no strings (and can completely understand his reasoning for it) , but he also told me that he has an attachment to me, or feelings, but can separate it from sex.
