Im currently 19, will make 20 in 4 months, sophomore in college. I have been dating my boyfriend for over 2 yrs now, he will be 20 next month, a junior in college. At the beginning of our relationship he was graduating high school as I was going into my senior year. We did medium distance for a while as it was only 1hr distance. Toward the end of this spring semester his mom kept convincing him to take on this career that dealt with being offshore & making lots of $$$. He didn't like that idea bc it wasn't really what he wanted to do. Today he told me he's considering taking upon that career but he'll have to live in Texas for 2 years. Of course I got emotional bc it involves LDR again.(We live in Louisiana). Alot of what he explains to me about the career is that he'll make around $400,000. That's great BUT it makes me worry about if that's really what he wants to do or its just for the money. It's a great opportunity and I fully support it but I'm always an advocate for people doing what they really want to do in life. I'm just a big ball of emotions bc of this potential change coming soon & entering adulthood and planning for the future. He says he doesn't care because it's only 2 years compared to the many years we'll spend together. I agree. Question is: how do I cope through this and have any of you had similar personal experiences? |

Unfortunately, I probably won't see him until late August when school starts again. I've known him for about 3 months, and as I got to know him I've been more and more interested in him. I asked him if he wanted to go to a party and he said he was too tired from practice, later his friend told me he was already at a party. I didn't do anything because it was early and I wasn't sure how to approach it. Anyway I've incountered this type of little lie a few more times. He told me he's smoke a cigarette before but only once and I was like oh okay no big deal he just tried it, but then his friends told me that he will smoke them occasionally for big events. So he doesn't smoke them often but he lied, he told me he smoked it once but he does it occasionally. Today I asked him if he wanted to go to the gym and he said he got called into work so I was like that's okay I'll see you tomorrow, end of story. But he has to leave 45mins before work and he snap chatted me 30mins before his shift and he was at home? So I got suspicious, then he left me on read during "his shift." And for the hours I've been on read his score is going up meaning he is snap chatting others. I snapped him again asking why he didn't answer which he hasn't opened but is responding to others. This has really set the bar for me, I don't understand why he would lie about something so unnecessary? All these little lies (more I didn't mention) are making me feel insecure. My question is how should I approach his lie without upsetting him and without me looking like kinda a stalker for checking his score lol |

Once I hit 19(20 now) i started to realize just how much of a turn-on it is. Now when I'm checking out women i make an effort to guage how intelligent they are and I don't just mean academics, but anything they have a passion for. I may feel this way because i'm self-conscious about how much knowledge i have personally, but in all honesty it gets me horny and sometimes it feels a little weird lol. At the same time I wouldn't call myself an extreme sapiosexual, but it's definitely more of a turn-on to me tan it is for the average person I feel... or maybe i'm wrong. Later I find out it's with the guy she's now dating. At the end of March we start a friends with benefits relationship for like a week. | Question: Did I fail as a parent? Posted: 21 May 2018 03:20 PM PDT I have 3 adult kids (2 male, 1 female) ranging in age from 36 to 41 and all 3 are unmarried. I really thought by now I would have had several grandkids but I'm still at zero. I know 2 of them want kids as well but they aren't even dating anybody. to the best of my knowledge. I feel like I failed as a parent somewhere. Between my spouse and I, all of our siblings are grandparents many times over. My kids have 24 cousins and 22 of them have kids. Separately my ancestors did not live long, and I'm already in my late 60s. Only one of my parents lived to 71. I just feel so sad. |

But we only get to chat that too for an hour in a day since she is still back in other country n i am in usa. I think its more of respect between us that we dont want to break or hurt eachother after being together for 5 years than love. There is no feel we cant meet due to being in different countries now. I have visited her twice in 3 years thats it. I cant go often due to work here. I just need advice n help about what should i do going forward. |
