This person insisted he wanted to be with me in the first place. I never wanted this but I ended up falling in love. Opening my heart, and trusting. I had SEVERE trust issues but he promised I was safe with him. Made promise after promise and at some point began talking about a future with me. He said he loved me more than anything else and I changed his life for the better, I loved him. I wanted all those dreams of ours to come true. We come from very different cultures, religions, family backgrounds etc and every time i bought up the fact that one or both of our families may not accept it he said none of it mattered as long as we truly loved each other and we would overcome every obstacle because we were meant to be and God made us just for each other. I was supposed to go see him this year for his 21st. It was the wish he made on his 20th. He left after one stupid fight. I've been crying every night since that horrible night. He told me this wasn't normal and it wouldn't happen. What?? This **** is painful! But I can't talk to anyone about it just because no one would think it was legit. Yes it was an online relationship but he was real and so were my feelings for him. How the heck am I supposed to get past this? It's negatively effecting my life. I have no choice but to bottle up this excruciating pain just cause no one thinks its real. I'm in pain.. |

They're pretty upset and disappointed in me and I value their thought of me. I am trying not to let it affect the fact that I am always upset or angry at my bf because he didn't tear me from my family. I left and it's them who is upset with me. Second, a year ago we were going to move in together but I freaked out because I wanted to go to a college far away and have a ton of adventures with trips the school offered. My sister goes to this college and I'm now seeing all the missed opportunities and I'm sure that's a factor about why I'm upset. I do feel like he's holding me back a little because he wouldn't move with me but I didn't want to break up. There's several personal things about him and his friends that I dislike. We live with his parents for now so that doesn't help. I didn't do anything cool at my college that was the next best. My freshman year of highschool I started dating this guy Tom. Tom and I are now juniors, and he is just as in love with me as he has always been, but I don t feel the same way. As we ve started to look into colleges, it s hit me that I don t see him in my future, and I felt like I ve missed some of the fun highschool experience by always being so attached to him. I want independence, because I don t remember what that s like. We started dating when I was 14, and I m 17 now. I want to live on my own when I turn 18 and I don t want to worry about pleasing someone else, just myself. I guess I m confused with the relationship because nothing has gone wrong. Don t get me wrong, Tom and I have had our rough patches, and plenty of them. But lately we ve been fine, no arguments, disagreements, nothing. But over the past few months I ve wanted out. There was always something holding me back; "oh but prom is so soon! I can t dump him before prom". Now we re going to a concert in 2 weeks, and I feel more locked in than ever, but I want out. | Question: How to be more outgoing? Posted: 28 May 2018 04:26 PM PDT Im a freshman girl. I play sports, all honors classes, great GPA, i dress nice, and etc. i am just fairly well-rounded in school. But the thing is i have like a couple of friends that I am comfortable with. I want to have more friends but i just seem so awkward and i can't seem to connect to anyone. Also, im terrible with boys. Ever since fourth grade ive just been terrible with boys. in fourth grade, I tried "flirting" with this boy. This boy looks at me and I literally wink. He pretends he didn't see me... ^ that is just ONE instance there has been several instances haha. I don't know why but I just don't have a set guy friend. I'm not a total loner, I talk to guys but its mainly about the assignment or hw. I really don't want the rest of my high school experience to be like this. i want to get invited to parties, and hang out with more people, and overall just be more extroverted. So any advice on how to be more social, outgoing, get more guy friends,and just less awkward overall?? |

| Question: He broke up with me and is upset I went to prom with someone else? Posted: 28 May 2018 04:16 PM PDT My now ex-boyfriend broke up with me 2 weeks before prom. We talked about going together as a couple, but after breaking up we thought it would be weird to go together. Thankfully, I found a guy to go with. Me and my friends got together and ended up having a great time, and we took a lot of cute pictures. My ex follows my instagram still, and he reached out to me almost right after I posted pictures including my date. He's the one who broke up with me, yet hes suddenly trying to talk. Do you think he's jealous I went with someone else? I don't even like the guy and we didn't slow dance together, he was just a fun person to go to prom with. |
