I mean, I'm a girl, but he's only talkative to a few of the women in the office. He's always reciting lines from literature books. When I caught him saying something once, he blushed and babbled about its from a book and he bumped into the espresso machine and I couldn't stop laughing. Anyways, after the party, I asked if he could drive me home, since the bus wasn't running anymore. My friends told him to be nice and he said he wasn't going to refuse. He said he'd love to take me, which made me smile. Throughout the car ride, he was quiet around me. Since I heard about him from other women, who talk about him, I asked where he studied abroad at. He's a college graduate and is two years younger than me, but I wanted to know about him. After that, we started talking more and more. When he dropped me off, he offered to walk me home, because he was afraid something bad would happen. Then he got flustered and said how strong I was, but he wanted to make sure that I was safe. I let him walk me home and when he dropped me to my door, I hugged him and he started acting clumsy all over again. |

Posted: 26 Aug 2016 08:29 PM PDT I've been living in Italy for a few months,(went there t study), I'm 19 and I don't know why it is that whenever I'm walking, guys just start checking me out and coming over to me, being all like 'ciao' or 'ciao bella' or saying things like that. This one dude even threw a rose at me. Some tried to kiss me and I didn't know about half of them. This one guy was like 'Ti amo', which is Italian for 'I love you'. Another dude, even though I barely even knew him, asked me to marry him. I was walking home about a week ago at night and this guy started following me, saying stuff like 'ciao!' and he was like 'why won't you talk to me'. When I told him to leave me alone, he did not stop. He kept on following me when I finally ran to my apartment. Thankfully, I lost him but I don't like getting this sort of attention. Some dudes have asked me for my number (which I didn't give out). I don't even wear revealing clothes. Back in Canada, I never experienced guys throwing a rose at me or just asking for my number when they barely knew me. Even at my uni, I experience some of that stuff but I don't get why they do this. I'm not saying that all Italians are Italians are like that but I just don't get why this is going on. I don't even do anything to get attention like that. I don't like when this happens and I'm willing to do anything to get it to stop. I've told the guys to leave me alone but they don't. I'm really worried, what do I do? |

We never spoke too much but we shared lessons and I beat myself up for not asking her out, we had little conversations here and there, she'd smile and initiate some but I never thought she fancied me, would give anything to go back and charm her. I can't tell if there's anything but she'll always smirk if she sees me or look in my direction. But I don't know if it's my head making it up. She's my exact type and lives fairly close to me so when I get back in college I'm giving it a shot. I just don't know whether it's awkward talking to her after such a long time. We don't really share friends but I can't just let her go. Even if I'm rejected it doesn't bother me because I know I had the balls eventually to give it a shot and I've learnt from my mistakes and gained experience. She has been bugging to meet me but I don't think I should start something with her right now because in a week I'll be traveling for festivals I'm performing at, all around the U.S. until spring. That is a good 4/5 months and I can't imagine how I would form something with her while I am on the road through online communication. So, a week ago she friend zones me and I ask her if she has a boyfriend, she "claims" she has a boyfriend, who lives in Washington and rarely visits our town. But lately, I've been reminiscing on all the memories we had and how fun it was. Every day I look through her pictures and just wish I could send her a message but it'll be awkward. I want to give it a second shot with her because I'm returning to Mexico after I renew my passport, but this time I want to play it differently. If she friend zones me again, then, I'll move on. She says she doesn't like, but I remember she had a conversation about me with my best friend/cousin. My cousin reports to me and tells me nothing but good things. But the nurse came in and gave me some liquid benadryl. So it did what I hear is typical. It made me kinda tired, kinda wobbly. But it also gave me tremors. AND it made my genitals really hot and I honestly thought I was bleeding or peeing or SOMETHING. I had to check myself to see if something was happening, but I was fine. Please someone tell me what the hell that was, because it REALLY scared me a lot... |
