When we do talk and have fun I have a lot of fun. Recently he has said he misses me but the month of Feb is very busy for him. So I just didn't really talk to him. In March we had like one good conversation on the phone to catch up and that was it. I contacted him a couple times since then. And again he said he missed me. I hate to be a clingy *** friend but I really want to talk to him without seeming to be annoying. I know he got my few messeages but I figure he won't respond because he is really busy or just doesn't want to be bothered. How do I approach a friend who says they miss me but won't make the effort that I do anymore? I mean actions speak louder than words. Posted: 03 Apr 2016 05:11 PM PDT Okay so this girl always bullies me and my friends, so looking for an easy solution, I sent her dad screenshots of her posts on Instagram talking about us and some other things, like getting tattoos and not telling her dad/drinking and having sex with random guys. Her step mom told her it was me that sent them (not her dad, who I actually sent them to) well she got in a lot of trouble and now basically the entire school is bullying me saying it's not cool to tell on her and calling me names which I'm not going to say, they're very profane. The girl follows me to class, grabbing my bags and such, trying to get me to fight her. My mom told me to go to the counselor and ask them to take care of it. I showed the counselor all the screenshots I had (just got the s7 a few days ago so it was kinda hard to find them) then signed onto my Facebook messenger and showed the woman's what I sent this girls father. I've been called into the office 3 times, they looked at the cameras and saw her grabbing me/ getting in my face. I don't think she got in trouble because at the end of the day they told my mom it was no big deal and that I was just over reacting. They aren't helping me?????? What should I do? This girl keeps getting in my face and grabbing me but everytime I just keep walking to class quickly. I've done all I could think of doing. My school's bullying policy is a joke. Please help. My social life is just a complete wreck and my social skills are worse. I carve conversation and friends, but I have few. And none of them want to do things with me unless they want to do them. And even then! But I stick with them because it's the only friendship I have at my school. They are the only people I have stuff in common with. I have tried other things, trying to get stuff I have in Common with peoplee possible. But it never works. Everyone only goes into clubs and other things WITH their friends. And they don't want me involved with things. When I try to expand my horizons and go to sports games and stuff, no one wants to talk with me. On a personal level, my brother introduced me to video games. And I got into those. It also got me away from the bullying of me. Then, people started bullying me about video games. So I tried to do sports and work out. AND I WAS BULLIED FOR BEING BAD AT A SPORT AND BEING FAT(I grew weight overtime with the video games). No matter what, I can't escape the isolation and bullying. And I hate my life because of it. I sometimes, rarely, think of taking my life. And I know it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. But it seems this problem is permanent. What can I do to change this? Is my life truly over? How can I make more friends? How can I increase my social skills? |

The girl came forward and told them the truth and the rest of the group is no longer friends with her so I have been sitting at lunch with them for the last month, going to the mall with them and hanging out. Its been nice and seems to be close to normal except with one of the girl's boyfriend. He is very much a part of the group and we were SO close before but I'm just not friends with him anymore and it's uncomfortable. I for the most part can get along with him but all my other friends hate him. This dude is very socially awkward but in a weird way where he doesn't shut up. He will interrupt other peoples conversations ramble about pointless uninteresting **** that's completely irrelevant and usually starts pissing everybody off. He also does really rude **** like helping himself to other peoples refrigerators that he doesn't even know or says rude **** like "no offence but....." and proceed to say something very offensive. I only really hang with him when no one else is around because he usually ends up almost getting his *** kicked by someone. At first i thought she was in a bad mood but then after i approached her several times i realized that she geniunely doesnt like me anymore. Im not very close with her so its not possible that i could have done something to hurt her so deeply. |

She has been dating her boyfriend for over a year, and she always tells me what he does wrong and how he messes up, but it seems like she just likes him too much to break up with him over that stuff(which i respect her for). It was really obvious i liked her and it was killing me, and i told her like 2 weeks ago. She said she doesnt blame me since we have so much fun together and she told me how great of a person i am. It doesnt sound like a friend zone to me, even though i am in no way trying to steal her from him and she knows that. Nothing has changed between us our friendship is still great as ever, which is why its killing me that i really really like someone i cant have. I am not the type of person to just go out and talk to random girls to shove her out of my mind. What can i do to not stress about it so much? Thanks |

Posted: 03 Apr 2016 12:58 PM PDT In the past, girls or kids, in general, my age were not allowed to invite friends over for dinner or sleepovers. Now in this generation and in America, kids are allowed to have more freedom. I am more open to the idea of friends hanging out with one another (same gender) once in a while. However, since my daughter is now 13, she wants to invite both guys and girls. My other daughter, 18 is allowed to because she is older and has become independent, but I am not so sure about my 13-year-old daughter. Should I allow her to and why? |

I am 28 years old and still take great care and pride in my appearance. I still dress like a 25 year old. I don't ever want to stop dressing glamorous, even when I turn 40. I don't know if during pregrancy people become more nostalgic but I've been thinking about the past lately and I just wish I treated my friend better. In high school there was this kid who was in love with me,I knew it but I used it to my own benefit. Sounds horrible,I know that.I used to talk to him just when I needed something from him and would ignore him the other times.After he graduated from high school (he was one year older than me,so I was still in high school) he joined the United States Marine Corps and was killed in action in Iraq.His grave has written on it "no greater good than a man lying down his life for his friends" and that's who he was. He was always there for others but I was so DAMN STUPID to understand that when I was a teen. I was thinking about going there and just say what comes to my mind. I've decided to name my son after him.Is there ANY way you think I can feel better? I was thinking about calling his parents just to remember him |
| Question: How To Help Depressed Friend? Posted: 03 Apr 2016 12:31 PM PDT My best friend is 15 and doesn't know how to get help for his depression. He got into an argument with his mom and she thinks he's doing it for the attention and that his friends support it. He doesn't know what to do and he feels trapped. He finds it hard to open up to people so I don't know if he'll go to a school counselor of his own free will. I almost want to call his house and talk to his mom but I think she'd get offended. What do I suggest?? What should I do? |

Posted: 03 Apr 2016 12:31 PM PDT so some 37 year old cousin of mine had a bit of an argument with me and called me a kid because I insulted a favourite football team of his and he said'' oh your a kid, I have seem them win trophy's and lose games yet I still support them your just a kid who recently started watching them that's why your not a true fan''. I am 22 years old. 23 this November. its annoying co I thought grew past that kid stage. or perhaps he was just pissed of at me and thought I would get offended by calling me a kid. So my question is a what age does someone stop being referred to as a kid. |

We're both in senior year of high school but different high schools that are about 2 miles from each other. I used to give her rides on the mornings so I could see her during mornings and occasionally we would hang out on weekends.Her mom just retired about 2 weeks ago so now she's able to drive her to school.Well guess what,ever since her mom drives her to school,Kelly and I don't see each other anymore.Until 2 weeks ago,Kelly was the name that appeared the most on my cell phone display,now she doesn't even bother asking me how I am. I feel like I'm an idiot. I feel so sad,I thought she cared about me,now I'm just.. I don't even know how I feel.What now? |
| Question: I'm really worried my best friend might get jumped? Posted: 03 Apr 2016 11:55 AM PDT So first a bit of backstory: A friend of the friend in question once told on a guy for doing something. The guy got suspended but recently came back to school. Well according to my friend, said guy had just told him that he was going to beat her up for it. In the interest of doing the right thing, I encouraged my friend to tell on him. I don't think there's any way for the bully to find out who told, but I can't help but worry anyway. My friend said he wouldn't be scared if this guy were to jump him, but he doesn't seem to be very tough. I don't know the bully and I'm not directly involved in any of this, but I'd like to know if there's something I can do for my friend. I never knew I was so protective. |

Next week is her birthday, the first birthday after her death he asked everyone to not contact him because he'd like to spend the day alone, trying to connect with her. I met him the day after and asked about him and he looked better than I expected. He told me he went to her grave and he feels better now. I don't know what can I do for him on this day, this year. He lives alone and I don't want him to feel alone but I don't know if he'd want to contact anyone, either. I don't want to bother him. |
