I've realised that I like attention, generally. Both from friends and family but also from boys. I've always been given a lot of attention being an only child and during my school years especially high school I got a lot of attention from boys. I always get told I'm very attractive physically and I've always been good in school (I'm studying medicine now) so I've been told that I'm an overall attractive person for guys at first glance and I've always been that girl in the friend group whom the guys went after. My family is somewhat conservative and so I've been growing up always thinking that I only really want to give a guy a chance if I see potential in marrying him some day. I still like the idea of that, so I never really cared about the guys asking me out. OR SO I THOUGHT! Now that I'm in medical school and am 22, I've realised something about myself and I'm so dissapointed! I realized, that I get dissapointed when someone we would call a "cute guy" in our friend group doesn't approach me.
