I get ID and he rarely does. We get along so well and the chemistry is amazing and he's super mature but the birthdate seems to be a problem. I honestly don't see a problem nor does he, we just don't notice the age gap but my family and friends keep making remarks about it and saying he will leave me or that I'm basically his mom. Is 9 years really that horrid and should I break up with him? Is it really wrong? |

She's always trying to argue with me over the dumbest things and she usually starts when we're are around people. For example I'll be in class doing my work, she sits next to me and stares at me and when I ask her why she's looking at me and she replies saying something like "I wasn't staring at you, you're not that important" my friends don't usually say anything but it's like she's trying to get me to fight back. She always saying she's gonna physically fight me. She's always giving me unsolicited advice ( not in a nice way ). When I do react I can tell she gets a kick out of it. One time when we were arguing and she said she wants to make me mad so that I punch her. Does any one have any advice on how to deal with her? All of my friends are also her friends and we volunteer at school together so it would be impossible to get away from her. |

Early on, he asked if I had any kids, and I joked God no. He sorta looked panicked & was like you dont want kids? So I had to explain I wanted kids one day. He then told me his five year plan & this was all in the first week of meeting. Over the course of the last several months he's constantly right next to me, always is the first to say hi, offers me food, is the first to help me, introduced me to his dog, looks at me a lot, will smile a lot and tries to show off. He's gotten tense twice when I mentioned other guys (friends/classmates). He "needed to know if it was someone he should worry about." He even went so far as to eavesdrop on a convo I had with one of the guys, but he's never stopped me from talking, just been sad. He's also told me he's single. Anyway, there are a few other things but those are the biggest. So, after being right next to me a lot of the day, we were all talking about renovations & moving (since he just moved & someone else is getting ready to) and he says "the girl I'm talking to said it was bad". The girl could be the realtor, or it could be another person. I'm not sure. I might be reading into it wrong since he's never mentioned another girl and spent so much time close to me, even walking into a crowded area. I'm not sure what's what. Or what, if anything, I should do. |

I am senior in high school and this guy I like a lot (let's call him Gary for now) is a freshman. We are both band students who frequently participate in any band possible (jazz, marching, etc) and both play tenor/bari sax, placing us in the same vicinity during most rehearsals. I am his section leader in marching band. I think we get along fairly well, as I give him rides to/from practice at times and have conversations regularly in person. Via text/Snapchat, we only talk a little bit and it mostly involves information about band-related events, but some conversations that stem from those are alright. Here are the issues, though. I am not remotely attractive and, although I have friends within the band, I am a bit of an outlier. Gary is tall, very thin, talented, and very pretty; he's gotten around from what I have heard. What I really just need to know is, how the hell do I approach this? I am extremely paranoid when it comes to flirting or anything of the sort because I am mortified of coming off as creepy (thanks to previous experiences). Should I try and text him more? Should I try to approach him more often? How to I hold a conversation with a guy? As for the bare minimum, how would I go about establishing the fact I'm attracted to him/would be interested in a fwb type thing without being cryptic? I really have no idea how this stuff works. When we were growing up, it was unusual for my parents to show us, or each other, physical affection--there just never seemed to be much hugging or kissing or snuggling or anything going on in my family. Too Scandanavian? Lol. Anyway, once when I was seven and he was thirteen, my brother asked me to lie down with him on his bed. He spooned me--physical contact I simply never had with him before. He softly asked me, "Does this feel good to you? Do you like how I'm holding you?" I said, uh sure, okay. Then he just ended this weird game. It was completely out of character. Lately, after talking about it with someone else, I find myself really angry with my brother for doing this back then, and now I'm avoiding him. It definitely wasn't sexual. But I feel like he took advantage of how naïve I was, and how badly I wanted him to pay attention to me. When we were kids, see, he would barely pay attention to me or play with me because of the age difference. I don't know if I should confront him, I just know that until I let this go I don't see how I'll be able to hang out with him (we live in the same town). What happened back then was like decades ago. He got pissed and I thought he changed his number. But no, he didn't. He also blocked me when I asked about filing for my money that I borrowed. But apparently he never saw that message. So I stupidly filed over Labor Day weekend for money he owes me thinking he wouldn't respond to emails about it. He got served in front of mom/kid and was embarrassed. This was 20 days ago. Since then he's told me not to call/text and was very hurt by that since he has been making payments. I really ducked up. He tells me to stop spamming his email but a few emails are fine. But I just can't stop. He said " You did it and can't just make it go away. Getting past **** like that takes time." And that "you know why I'm upset and don't want to talk right now" these statements give me hope but then he also says I'm harassing him by trying to apologize over and over. I'm so confused and just want to make things right. He's my soulmate and I think a part of him wants to forgive me. But also I'm so anxious that I keep messaging. And I did drop it right when I found out he was served. I tried preventing service as well.. |
