I had 1 girlfriend in high school and that is it. The reason I want to be sexually abstinent is because I believe the sex market is corrupt and immoral. People are in it for their own self-interest. I believe women are gold diggers and I believe men are pigs. Those are not proper or ethical sources of motivation for sex. The philosophical part of me says that I should not participate in procreation. The biological part of me says I should find a red headed freckled girl and go all in on it. That is what happens to turn me on and I am just being honest. I have a hard time understanding why the sex drive is difficult to resist. I had a conversation today about why we try to reproduce. We as individuals are self interested. Economic theory says we should maximize our own satisfaction. But it doesn't make sense for us to satisfy the interest of our spouses and offspring. I guess our cells/instinct/biological code tells us that we should take care of our offspring because in a sense we are taking care of ourselves. Our offspring are apart of us and the cell is trying to be immortal after all. I believe the world is corrupt because of self interest. The sex market is corrupt and immoral because it is driven by self interest. When I say sex market, I mean it literally because sex is a business. Am I wrong for thinking this way? |

So today something strange happened, I don't know if this is just a coincidence or something but I was looking at my favourite perfume bottle that was on my table in my room, then I decided to recommend it to some friends I have on Snapchat. So, I posted a picture of the bottle with heart eyes then I refreshed my Snapchat to see all the new posts, I saw his name first so I clicked on his story, and he posted a picture of his favourite perfume at the exact time as me? With the exact same emojis? Am I just overthinking this or is it weird? |

While he's working I've seen him watching me or looking my direction, and after awhile he even introduced himself to me on a random occasion. I'm really big on not bothering him especially when he is working but this back and forth of looking and smiling at each other, or asking each other how the other is, has been going on for months. This last week we actually had a conversation and I was thinking maybe something more would happen but yesterday I went and he normally said hello to me like he always did but nothing more than that. I know we are both trying to be professional about it and I'm definitely not trying to deter him from his work! I'm just frustrated because at this point the back and forth has been going on forever and I'm now starting to wonder if he was even interested in me to begin with?
