This girl would stare at me often and would look away IMMEDIATELY when I would catch her. She would do that a decent amount of times over the course of 4 or 5 months. She usually takes 3-5 minutes to respond on Snapchat but will sometimes take hours, but will always respond. She DOES initiate with me often. Her pictures are always of herself with no caption. She will send me a picture (if I haven't messaged her yet that day). She sent me streaks and then I sent streaks back. Then she sent a picture of herself to me in response to that. My only concern is this-She will only ever (so far) take pictures of herself with no caption and when I send her something back with a caption that has a question she will respond but won't ask me a question back. One time I opened her snap and didn't respond for a few minutes then she sent me another one. I asked her how she was which I guess may not be a very interesting question and she said "great" but never asked me how I was. If I ever send a picture of my dog she will just send back a picture of herself with no caption. She just doesn't seem to add anything to the conversation on Snapchat when I try to ask her something. I remember when I started high school, people would randomly come up to me and compliment me out of nowhere. There was this group of girls who would tell me I could model. I would overhear people compliment me (which is probably the best way to get a compliment) or other people would tell me someone said something nice about me. It was so weird to me that this would happen. I've always been the quiet girl so I was virtually unknown to most people in school I think. I look back at pictures of me and think "I look so bad in these" but I remember anytime I would wear a dress, I could feel the whole room staring at me. People complimented my body, my face, my hair, etc. Despite all of this happening (in school and out of school), I never had a boyfriend. I never had anyone be really interested in me (except for ulterior motives but I never was asked out or had anyone take a serious interest in me). I'm 21 now and I've still never dated. Since I started college, I feel like the attention has died. I still get compliments (mainly from my friends though except for this one time when I overheard a guy tell his friend I was beautiful in passing) but I feel kinda invisible most of the time. Even when I do get complimented, I don't really believe them. My friends are always dating but people rarely look in my general direction or talk to me. Is it college? Am I ugly? Also, I'm sorry if I sound shallow in anyway. I'm just telling my experience. People I know, even really pretty girls, always date and have people into them so how could an actual person who is considered "beautiful" be invisible? Well you know, the first two months always seem "perfect" but then you realize that that was just too good to be true. I have major depression and I'm working on coping mechanisms. For the story: My boyfriend got mad at me the other day because I had an obsessive, anxious episode. He told me to fix it and then come talk to him. Until then, leave him alone. I sent him a long apology and explained how I'm still trying to find ways to cope, but I promised that I'm working on it. He explained to me that he still loves me and cares about me, but he thought a friendship might be better. We had a long talk (over text) and we finally settled on giving it a second chance. My birthday is Wednesday (it's Monday today), and I expressed how I want to see him for my birthday and talk things over in person. Even though he was short in his replies, he agreed that I can come see him tomorrow morning. I need advice on how to go about starting this second chance. Because of what happened, I don't think it would be a good idea to throw myself at him and smother him with love. However, I want him to know just how willing I am to keep our relationship going and stable (but not obsessively begging). I want him to know that I am taking responsibility for my actions while also asking him to be patient as it's hard for me to control. Have any of you experienced a successful second chance? | Question: Is there a point in trying to be healthy if you're never gonna be in a relationship? Posted: 24 Jun 2019 06:12 PM PDT I always see with couples how the girl tries to get the guy to eat healthier and excersize so he can live longer and be healthy for her but I'm never gonna be in one so Its not like I have anyone to be healthy for any ways. I get so depressed when I see those couples and how the girl loves the guy and genuinley cares about him cause I'm not a normal guy and Im just a fat piece of crap and I will never have that and even if I ever was with someone they would just get bored of me and cheat on me or dump me for someone else cause everyone I ever been with has done that to me and when ever i get depressed about it i just sit there and eat a whole box of donuts while hating how fat i am and how nobody will ever love me |

I like someone , think they're very attractive, want to make a move , also want them to make a move. When they finally do something it throws me off even though it's exactly what I wanted them to do, the attraction soon fades away after that. | Question: Could you date someone with illogical beliefs? Posted: 24 Jun 2019 05:51 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 6 years and since then his ideas have gone off the deep end. I don't mean to offend anyone who has these beliefs. But he spends most of his time 'researching' which is watching YouTube. I won't get into religion. But he really believes the earth is flat, chem trails, 9/11 was a halo gram, vaccines are killing people. All he keeps telling me that I'm like everyone else and I told him I'm concerned what will happen when we have children. He won't even vaccinate his cat. Lastly he wants us to be together forever, but there are times he gets so frustrated with my ideas or behavior that he tells me he's had enough and breaking up with me. I tell him wouldn't he rather be with a girl who thinks just like him and his response is 'you'll change with time.' He doesn't respect my beliefs or opinions and usually he tells me I don't know anything. We both love each other. We have a lot of laughs when we aren't talking about this nonsense. |
