It was one day I asked him , where is this going and he tells me we are friends, just seeing where it goes . She tries to get my to maintain eye contact and I try but I'm nervous. This Christmas my grandmother ended up in the hospital 2 days before Christmas. Due to this even, feelings about being with loved ones from my parents are higher than normal. Due to this I dont want to leave them during the celebration. I however told my girlfriend that I still want to spend time with her and her parents. I told her I would do lunch them. I know it is not their Christmas eve celebration but I could spend some time with them. I thought this would be a fair compromise. My girlfriend does not think this is a good effort on my part, and is basically giving me an ultimatum saying that if I dont atleast spend and hour with her during the celebration, then she can t forgive me and that it is over. |

The next few days come along and I asked her if she wanted to see a movie either tomorrow or the next day. She took a whole 4 mins to respond which was a little odd because most of her responses are pretty quick. She said that it was her brother's bday tomorrow so she couldn't but "maybe another day." The reason I'm asking here is that I feel like "maybe" and "another day" indicate that she isn't willing to make a specific plan yet. So that "next day" is tomorrow. My main question is should I wait for her to make specific plans and let me know if she wants to hangout or should I ask her, again? I don't really one be the one to ask because, especially because of her delayed/unenthusiastic response from before, I feel like I'm not in the position to do that. Now that we are graduated, I'm getting my MFA and I'm a Manager of a clothing company. I'm only 22. He's 26 years old, works part time as a teaching assistant, 5 hours a week at a hotel doing activities and that's it. He makes around 1k a month. Lives at home. Pays 200$ rent. Has it pretty easy for 26 years old. He "wants" to be a teacher but hasn't even passed the CBEST nor does he have the GPA to enroll into a credential program/masters. I do love him. He's sweet. He's kind. He takes care of me when he can. I'm pretty independent but he keeps bringing up his health condition which prolonged his time in college by 5 years as a way to get around finding a big boy job. He says that even though he's 26 he's "mentally" 22 because he spent years in hospitals and not actually in school. I just can't fathom how he still dreams of being a teacher when he can't pass a basic exam...please help. I want him to d better in his life. How do I tell him nicely? I kinda know he wants to propose but I can't marry someone who really doesn't have a job (at 26) |

When I first saw him at karaoke he kept glancing over in my direction while he was giving his intro also a couple of days later I saw him at ping pong and he kept looking at me again and seemed to get a bit mad when I had to leave. After that I started to notice him a bit more and told God that if I saw him again then that meant I should talk to him and a little after this he came in to get gelato while I was and stood behind me but I got really nervous and left. A couple minutes later my family and I were on the balcony eating gelato and he went and stood on the opposite balcony with his sister and kept glancing at me. Now the cruise is over and I didn't talk to him and I honestly feel horrible. He could have been my boyfriend and everything but I messed it up. Because of this , can anyone give me some advice on how to move on completely and how to find new white guys. |

Earlier this month, I texted her to try and get her to meet up w/ me, but she shot me down & told me that she had a new BF (which I, based on some things I know about her, had a gut feeling was a lie). I eventually ended up sending her a long, heartfelt text in which I confessed my feelings to her. I also said I wouldn't contact her again. Yesterday (some three weeks later), I reversed course & sent her a text asking if she could help me out w/ a problem I was having. She texted me back sounding mean & nasty...like she hated me, but agreed for us to speak today. I ended it by asking if I could text her to follow up on what we were talking about, but she was hesitant & asked if there wasn't anyone else I could ask to help me out. She eventually said that it would be ok to do so, but that she needed space. We told each other Merry Christmas & hung up. Is it possible for me to get her back? |
