Question: Opinions please did I do the right thing? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 04:37 PM PDT I was getting snide/snarky comments from pair of work colleagues. I kept my head down was polite never said a bad word to anyone but they would ask what you go up to etc. Then they would have snide comments at everything so I stopped telling them. I would just reply I had a nice busy time thanks I had this for 2 years solid. |
Question: What should i do in this situation? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 02:44 PM PDT Alright so my friend told me she was cutting herself so i talked to our teacher im a freshman and shes a sophomore and i told the teacher what was going on so they got her in counseling every weekend now shes mad at me cuz i guess i got her in trouble now do you think i did a good thing by letting the teacher know or and how do i make her not mad at me cuz i possibly saved her life so theres no real reason to be mad at me |
Question: Giving rides to friends? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 01:25 PM PDT I have a friend in college who has a couple times now asked me for a ride. She's really nice, but parking is a commodity at my school, and if I leave my space, I'll be driving around for forever trying to find another one. She doesn't offer to pay for gas or anything, and both times it's been really frivolous things (makeup, getting nails done, etc.). Should I turn her down? How do I do this without sounding like a jerk? |

Question: Was this rude of me to say? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 12:36 PM PDT So my friend lost her son to a drug overdose a few months ago. To make a long story short, I told her that I was sorry for her loss and that he kind of brought it upon himself. She kinda looked at me funny and we haven't talked since. I kind of feel bad because we would talk every other day. Did I do something wrong? If so should I apologize |
Question: Is she giving me hints? Is she interested? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 11:57 AM PDT Me and a girl were working in a group on an assignment. The group consisted of my friends. She doesn't know me that well we have had small talk a couple of times. She knows my friends way better than me she always asks him for help. So suddenly she says "Ryan not my friend what did you get for this". Everyone in the group heard what she said. I was turned around looking at something else so she touches me. I turn around answer her question and then my friend says " ryan not my friend" to tease me. After that she compares me to a celebrity and tells me that I am way cooler than him. What does she mean by (ryan not my friend). Another day the girl me and another friend finished a lab and those two were gonna go work on some assignment. Suddenly she says "ryan can come if he wants". She said it loud enough that I could hear it. Is she interested in me, if she is what should I do? |
Question: Do you believe my friend could contact me back? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 11:49 AM PDT My female friend and I had an argument about three weeks ago and she hasn't contacted me back since then. I've tried apologizing (the fault is mine) through text messages and Facebook but she won't reply or read the messages. I tried calling her but she won't pick up. Honestly i feel depressed and sad about the whole situation and i don't know what else to do to fix what i did. She is the type of friend with whom you can talk about anything basically, has been there for me in both good and bad situations and generally a caring and great person. You know a friend who makes you wanna do things for her. The "argument" was basically me behaving like a stupid child because we couldn't make plans for that particular weekend since she had already made some with her other friends. I understand that she needs time and space and is probably afraid that i will behave like this again. I just want to know your opinions on if she could come back after almost a month really. We've been friends for years and it just doesn't feel right without her :/ |
Question: Was this woman just being nice, what do you think? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 11:02 AM PDT So this former college classmate and current Facebook friend sent me this video about s&m, saying it made her think of me. I know she said the video made her think of me but it had sexual content. I find her physically attractive but she said she's not interested in dating. She seems open to hanging out as friends. Her and I got to talking about the video. She said I shouldn't be ashamed of being into s&m. She said I need to find women who enjoy it too. Her and I sometimes text on Facebook. We don't text every day but maybe two-three times a week. |
Question: I lost a bet and now I must go barefoot through the town.? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 10:24 AM PDT Hi, I lost a bet to my friend and now I must go in the afternoon barefoot through the town. I have a little fear of it, because I am a bit shy and there are a lot of people. Could you give me any advices, how to manage it? Thank you for your advices. |

Posted: 08 Oct 2018 09:01 AM PDT Its in Terminal 5 in NYC and i have my fake but i got it early and it says im 22 now which is like even more risky. The only way i can see me getting in is if my friends use their fakes also so its not so random of a "22 year old" raving with a bunch of 18 year olds. If anyone knows much about Terminal 5 are they super strict and what should I do. Als dont hit me with the "wait till ur of age" or some **** like that thanks Can I get in Terminal 5 with a Fake ID? |
Question: What cause someone who has rabbit personality turn cold? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 08:37 AM PDT I have a friend who has a rabbit personality she treat this person very nice but after he was mean to her he call her a promicious and accuse her as crazy . that she start to turn cold and she totally ignore him |
Question: Poll: should my friend encouraged me or talk crap about him? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 07:25 AM PDT I saw my crush for the first time in a long time....my heart was beating really quickly so I went to the restaurant bathroom to calm down my heart. My friends came into the bathroom to see if I was okay. I told them my heart is beating really quickly and I was nervous (good kind of nervous) when I came back from the bathroom my friends threatened to beat him up, called him an A$$hole, told me I deserve better, made fun of his clothes and made fun of his hair. They never met my crush and my crush wasn't doing anything wrong. He never did anything against me that night. My friends ruined my happiness. I told them they ruined my happiness in a Facebook message. They didn't seem to care they were trying to make him look bad and the way he treats me is uncalled for. My friend said I could tell he treats me is uncalled for cause he was with a group of girls. He wasn't with a group of girls. I told them it made me feel awkward and uncomfortable when they were talking crap about him for no reason, I asked them next time just say they didn't like the way he treats me and move on with a different topic cause I told them what they were doing made me awkward she told me she's gonna speak her mind. I don't get the impression she's going to respect my feelings |
Question: How do I cut ties with a narcissistic dorm mate? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 07:07 AM PDT She has a very dominant personality. She demands to be listened to, but never listens in return. She demanded me to give a birthday gift to her, but did not give me anything on my birthday. She asked me to lend her $5 and told me that she didn't want to return the money because I owed her $7 in advance, and made me pay $2 when I realized that I never owed her that money. She forced me to play table tennis with her, and got angry at me when I didn't know how to play. When she is with other people, she talks bad about me in 3rd person IN FRONT of me, laughing at the things that I say or do and reminding me of my flaws all the time. I try my best to ignore her when she is in the shared kitchen of my dorm. I don't know how to dump her as a friend. I thought that writing a letter would be a good idea but she might use it against me. She's only 19 and I'm 24,but I am sincerely afraid of her. What should I do? I live with her in a dorm, that's what makes it hard. |
Question: Scared of changing schools? Tips? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 02:50 AM PDT I'm a girl who will be a high school senior next year. I'll have to move out with my aunt because of family problems and I'll have to leave my school. I don't really have friends there, maybe 2 or 3 people that I talk to sometimes, but I'm still scared of leaving this place. I'm extremely sensitive, socially awkward (even online) and ugly (I'm not able to invest in beauty products because of financial problems). The teenagers in my state take extremely care about their looks, almost all of them are extroverts. And from the things I've heard, all the people in that school are like that. I like my current school because my classmates don't care about that, we are all kind of familiar with each other and I'm afraid I won't be able to have the same "mood" in the new one. I know this was mostly me whinning about my appearance, but It's because I'm just a person who doesn't have a personality and the looks to pass as a decent student. And I guess I just needed to vent too. At least I want to be in my own corner, but without feeling left out or be mocked, just go through the last year with peace in mind. Sorry if my english is broken, I'm still learning. |
Posted: 08 Oct 2018 02:33 AM PDT Is it a lesbian crush, obsession or do you think I just really admire and like her as a friend only? I'm being obsessed over someone who I shared a brief friendship with during my childhood years. When i was in 5th grade there's a university student who worked as a volunteer at my primary school temporary. She works with me every week in my class. At that time i was only a 10 year old child and she is a 20 year old women. I don't even know why I get attracted to an adult. She's a nice and friendly person, I immediately warm up to her since the first day I met her. We talked together regularly at class and I really enjoy her company. After I left primary school, we didn't see each other again. A few year later, I attempted to reconnect with her via email. She was happy to hear from me again at the beginning but after awhile I tried to message her again for a few more times over the course of several days and she will only give shorts replies and never initiates a conversation. Although she still reply to my message, but I sensed she is no longer interested to maintain contact with me anymore and she's only replying to my message just to be polite. From then on, I got the hint and stopped contacting her again. Now it's been more than 9 years since I last heard from her, but I still think of her from time time? How can I move on and stop being fixating on a person who is long gone from my life. |
Question: Did he lose interest in me after one conversation? or am I over-analyzing? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 02:02 AM PDT I had been chatting with a man online that seemed to really like me. We had our first conversation on the phone and we agreed to meet the next time I am in his neighborhood. I then sent him a message on the dating site to thank him for the talk and I said I enjoyed it but he did not respond back to say he liked it too ..like he usually does. Does it sound like he lost interest in me after the conversation? He said he wanted to meet with me but I dont understand why he did not say he liked talking to me too after I said it to him? What do u think? will choose a best answer and tks |
Question: How do I convince my mom to let me go on a 4-day trip with my friends? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 01:51 AM PDT First of all, I'm 19. So a friend of mine invited me and my boyfriend (and a lot of my friends too) to travel to Palm Springs this December to celebrate her 21st birthday. I'm about 2 hours away from there but I really wanted to come but I'm afraid that my mom won't let me as this is my first time traveling alone with just friends (without their parents) and staying over with friends. I just want to ask for advice on how to increase my chance on persuading my mom to let me go on the trip and/or what is the best time to ask for permission. Thank you. |
Question: Is she interested or I am just overthinking? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 01:36 AM PDT So we were working in class in a group of friends she says : (ryan not my friend what did you get) and then touches me because I wasn't looking. She said it loud enough so everyone in the group could hear it. I am confused what she means by this? Question: Is it weird to message someone u haven't seen in 4 years? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 12:46 AM PDT I was on a cruise and met a bunch of people there. Its been 4 years since that cruise and I barley kept in touch with any of these people.I friended some on fb and I often see this guy from there on fb. Question: Why do you think he was acting awkward? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 08:10 PM PDT This is really complicated. I have this friend, Jason, that I've known for over 2 years. He used to be my boss and pushed my buttons every chance he got. I finally started getting to know him and we became friends and I fell in love with him. Well, he's married and has a family. I get along quite well with his wife and his kids know me and they like me. I've never had any intention of breaking up their family, as I love them all and they're a very precious family. Jason and I have always had a connection. We've never discussed it, but we've never had any issues about being in each other's space bubble. Ever since we became friends, it's always been so easy to talk to him. We've been alone several times and all we do is talk and not about anything crazy. We never have any awkward pauses. I had been single for over 2 years. Jason has made it clear a few times that I deserve the best and that he'd want to meet any potential interest I may have so he can approve of him. Well, I recently got a boyfriend. A couple weeks ago, my boyfriend and I saw Jason and they shook hands, but were never properly introduced because we were in a crowded room and were just passing by each other. Today, we saw them Jason and his wife and the wife asked to meet my boyfriend so I introduced them and she's like "this is my husband Jason" and they shook hands and Jason was like "yeah I believe we've met...last week or something." and he was looking at me with an awkward smile on his face. Why do you think he was acting awkward? He didn't even try to get to know my boyfriend, but several months ago, he acted like he wanted to meet any guy I found myself wanting to date. He's 38, I'm 27. |
Question: My roommate who is also my best friend is graduating early. she graduates in december !? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 07:36 PM PDT she already has an internship program lined up and everything for the spring, so she is excited about it. i am trying to be supportive and happy but part of me is upset because i would rather her stay here and enjoy our last semester together? am i a bad friend? how can i be more friendly and positive about it? |
Posted: 07 Oct 2018 06:18 PM PDT Okay. I hate being jealous. I hate admitting that I m jealous but I need help coping and blah blah blah. Here is my problem. I have a friend who had to copy everything I do. I want to let my hair fade from purple and then I going blonde. Well now he had decided that he has to go blonde. I wanted to recreate bart simpsons skateboard and now he had to do it too. I want a pin tail longboard and he just went our and bought one. That was really what pissed me off. He knows I want to be different, why would he do this? I know you think I m being salty because he probably likes the same things I do but here is the thing. He doesnt. He is a hardcore emo boy and hates blonde hair with a passion. So why does he all of a sudden want it. He has always batted skateboarders so why does he all of a sudden habe to be one. He recently found out that i like skateboarding and yhats when he started liking it. Idk maybe i should just grow up and deal but it really makes me angry. He has always been a toxic friend for me but I just keep waiting until we graduate in 2 years to finally be free but it s getting harder to just wait. I guess my real question and my most important one is----- should I still get the longboard of my dreams even if the reason I wanted it was to be different and now I m not different? Thanks so much |
