Question: How to fix a bridge that is slowly starting to burn? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:08 PM PDT Ok. Please don't bash me. I've only dated one man before and it's been a really really long time since I've dated again. I had just started dating this guy last Saturday, and I'm worried I might not be giving him enough space. He works somewhere I go to a lot to buy Gatorade. We will hug and do a few pecks, then I check out. I realized I'm not really going there for my drink;but for him. I know he is gonna want space, but I'm afraid I might be slowly little by little start burning a bridge. What can I do to extinguish that small flame so the bridge doesn't burn completely? I don't want to push him away by accident. Any thoughts on this? |

Question: What should I do about my platonic friend (who isn't seeming very platonic anymore)? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:04 PM PDT I'm gay and I've been friends with this guy for awhile, let's just call him J. He's not gay (at least he says he isn't) but he always jokes around with me and is almost flirty at times. Anyway, I had him and a couple other friends over to have a few beers and watch the EURO game that was on that night. We all got pretty drunk, but he got so hammered that he went to my bedroom and disappeared for a long time. When I went to check on him, I caught him laying on my bed wearing nothing but a pair of gray and orange American Eagle compression shorts- the same pair that I had worn to the gym the previous day. Not only had he gone through my dirty laundry and put on my underwear, he was saying some pretty suggestive things about what he had wanted to do to my posterior since he first met me. I decided that since we were both drunk (he being more intoxicated than I), I would send him home before I did something I might live to regret. I called him a cab and let him wear my underwear home (I wasn't going to wear that pair ever again). He called me the next day and admitted that everything he said was true, that he wasn't sure how this affected things but he knew he had some feelings for me. So, yahoo, should we hook up? If you don't think we should, provide a link to a nice pair of new underwear. |
Question: Help! Problem with my right ear for past few months? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:02 PM PDT For a few months now. Whenever I hear loud noises, I get a "whooshing" sound in my right ear. This is right after hearing the noise, there's this sound, almost like a rebound noise. It sounds like wind blowing in the ear, only this is internally. Another thing is that every time I swallow, there is a "clicking" sound coming from my right ear. If I drink or eat, it often goes away for a minute or two. Seen my doctor, he told me to wait until September to see if it goes away. This is stressing. For a few months now. When I hear loud noises, I get a "whooshing" sound in my right ear. Also every time I swallow, there is a "clicking" sound coming from my right ear. If I drink or eat, it often goes away for a minute or two. Seen my doctor, he told me to wait until September to see if it goes away. This is stressing/ruining my summer. I'm only 23. |
Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:02 PM PDT I bullied this girl but I stopped now and haven't bullied her for a while now. When I asked if her and I could be friends all she said was that you can't mistreat a person and expect them to like you. She never actually said no. But do you think she is mean no |

Question: Would a 17yo boy ever be interested in a 28yo woman? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:02 PM PDT I m married and with kids (he knows this). Was formerly his boss at a place we both worked until he quit a few months ago. Since then we have connected on social media and snapchat. So far nothing inappropriate. But I can t help but wonder why he would add me on these things and bother if not for maybe a thought of something more? I am decent looking (have been told dead-ringer for a younger Cameron Diaz, to give an idea), I have a pretty good body (size 8, tall, long legs, GREAT **** - can t deny it lol). He is absolutely adorable, and we have a ton of common interests, which makes talking, joking, and laughing so easy. I know I know, he s so much younger and I am married with children, etc, etc... But I really cannot help thinking of him and his great smile and young, lean body... I feel like a pervert for it pretty much! I wouldn t really do anything, but, indulge me a little, is there a possibility he actually has an interest? I feel like a high schooler with a crush, but I don t want to sit here and be the creepy old pervert. What do you think? |
Question: Is he playing, or does he want a real thing?!? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:01 PM PDT This guy that I have known for about 3 years now, we have been friends. Through the years he always been flirtatious with me and everything. 8 months ago he asked me on a date but I said no because I was interested in some one else. Now within the past 3 weeks he's been super flirtatious, touchy and sending innuendos my way. When we hang out, his phone screen always lights up with him and another girl in a picture and right now thats the only thing standing on his instagram. He's had many flings in the past and I don't want to become one. I just don't know if I should continue this and see where it goes or cut it off now before I waste my summer. |
Question: How to win my ex back? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:00 PM PDT My ex and I became friends 9 years ago and we dated for 3 years. He recently broke up with me and it is so awkward because we live together. He does not even look at me and rarely even says my name. He broke up with me to find himself and because he still feels hurt from a previous relationship (this relationship was 5 years ago and lasted bout 2 years on and off). I gave him everything that I could, and I feel like he left me when his life got better. He recently became a server, I helped him move to LA almost a year ago (before that I drove countless hours to see him for the first year and a half of our relationship), he is surrounded by friends, he lost a lot of weight and I helped him buy a car. He was my first love and I honestly can not imagine a life without him. I already told him that if he ever changed his mind about us, to let me know but he has not mentioned anything about it yet. He also told me that I deserved better and he could not treat me the way I deserved to be treated. All I want is him :(, I love him so much. I still continue to cook for him and sometimes we watch netflix together while we eat. We also have some small talk here and there but not a full on conversation. It is almost as if we are strangers now :(. Please help me. |

Question: Making relationship work after betrayal? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:54 PM PDT It's been about 2 years. It had been going on pretty much the whole time we were together and I was blindsided. Since then he has done everything right. I just haven't felt the same since. I don't trust him and I am always sad and anxious. He treats me better than he ever has and let's me look through his phone and comes home after work trying to earn my trust back but I just feel crazy and unhappy. I know he's sorry and we've tried so hard to make it work but I feel like I can't get over it. We've been together for 5 years. Have any of you been able to make your relationship work after infidelity? I really don't want to throw it all away but I feel like we both deserve better if I feel the way I do. I've become a bitter nag and gained a ton of weight and hate myself. I was so different before this happened. I feel like an ugly loser. Any tips on trusting and forgiving, or does it sound like it's not worth it? |
Question: Ex is moving on and I don't know how to feel? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:54 PM PDT We were bad for each other, and after the initial attraction our relationship went south fast. We did try to stay friendly, but we're not really friends. Months later, I've accepted that we'll never reconcile and I see her with this guy and I don't know what I'm feeling. On the one hand I don't feel hurt/jealous and I'm glad she's happy. On the other hand, I've started the good times and how things could've been if we were still together. |

Question: My Ex Boyfriend Won t Move On? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:50 PM PDT We were best friends initially and he told me had feelings for me so I decided to give it a go but it never felt right. I found myself pretending that we were just friends and I couldn t bring myself to make it anything more so as to keep myself from tying him down I broke up with him but we re still friends. It s been a few months now and he still hasn t accepted that we re no longer together. I don t care to date right now but whenever I joke about being with someone else he gets bitter and shuts me out. He even brings up conversations we had in the past about our future and things that we used to talk about and it makes me very uncomfortable. It worries me not that he won t move on but that he won t accept it. Even though I m not really for dating rn I think I should go on one date with someone else so he sees that I m serious about this. I don t want to hurt him because he s my friend but I need him to know that friendship is all we have going on. What should I do? |

Question: IF I STOP TALKING TO HIM WILL HE COME BACK?!? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:28 PM PDT Dated a guy since Feb. He broke things off for basically no reason Jun 11. I fell in love with him, became a part of his family, and thought i woukd marry him. He was great to me, so I was shocked over the breakup. After the breakup I asked to speak in person, and he refused. he said he never wanted to break up, but my reaction to the breakup is what caused him to not get back with me. Its because I kept texting him, and we argued. I basically told him I loved him, and disagreed with the breakup. Over the past few weeks he has went back and forth from needing time apart, to saying we are done. He has got mad at me several times and accused me of talking to other guys. He finally admitted that he really asked for space bc another girl he dated from 2003 reached out to tell him she still loved him. She actually is engaged now and lives in canada. We have also hooked up twice since breaking up. After each time he says we are still broke up. He just recently told his parents this weekend. He continues to text me every now and then. He got mad at me for going to watch fireworks with an ex on 4th of july.. He is now saying he doesn't want to get back together anytime soon, but doesn't close any doors. I have essentially contacted him every day expressing my feelings since we broke up. I quit talking to him wed and that night he text at 1:00am asking me to come over. I ignored. If i continue to not reach out to him will he come back and realize he messed up?! |

Question: Why do I find introvert guys so attractive? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:20 PM PDT introverted* |
Question: Why would a girl do this? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:19 PM PDT She stares at me a lot when we are far away but avoids eye contact up close. She seems very shy and when she does talk to me, she is super awkward. When we first met, she came up to me and smiled and said hey and sat right next to me when there was plenty of other seats. She has a habit of avoiding eye contact with me and when I talk to her, she looks at my chest and her nostrils flare up. It is weird. I could also tell she is very nervous around me. |
Question: Am I wrong for Feeling upset over a second date? (Should I drop her)? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:18 PM PDT So, I went on a date with this girl from my work that I found really attractive and nice. She liked my flirting and wanted to give me a shot. She was my first date ever and first kiss. We hit it off and she liked it and wanted to go on a second date with me. The only problem is that she's very last minute with things. She rescheduled our date from Wednesday to Thursday this week. She told me Thursday morning that she can't promise anything because she may be punished to stay home or she was gonna see her best friend get a tattoo (this makes me feel like a 2nd choice). I am ready to go after work for our date and text her I need an answer. She doesn't text me until 3 hours after our date was supposed to happen to tell me sorry and she went somewhere with her little sister. I feel upset because she didn't even have the decency to text me really quick she can't go. I texted her that we should just move on and forget about it and if she wanted to plan something with me, she's more than welcome to and she has yet to respond. The friends that know about my relations with this girl think it should end because she's drinks and gets in trouble a lot and I'm a polar opposite, stellar student in school. Any thoughts????? |
Question: Ladies, how serious is a woman cooking for a man? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:18 PM PDT A girl and I have gone out a handful of times, and the last time she decide to prepare a meal for us both. Would you do this for a relatively new friend, or only someone you are interested in? |
Question: Can't tell if the guy I'm dating lied to me or not? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:17 PM PDT I met a guy through online dating and we started dating, we've been going out for 6 weeks. We met on Dating site #1. One night we were talking about online dating and he asked if I was on any other sites. I said yes, Dating site #2 and told him about my experiences. He said he had never heard of dating site #2 before and asked what it was like. I said, "that's funny. I saw your profile on dating site #2 and he completely denied ever being on that site and still said he had never heard of it. So I got my phone out and pulled up his profile with a picture of him. He said "Oh that's weird. That does sound like my writing on the profile but I didn't make that profile." From what I could tell he hadn't logged into that account in awhile..how long I don't know. A part of me wonders if he could have forgotten about it or if he was just lying to me. I can't stand people that lie so even though this is a really small thing it bothers me. He got divorced a year ago so his profile would have had to have been made sometime in the last year. How could he forget? It doesn't make sense. Any thoughts? |

Question: I've dreamed twice that my boyfriend chops off a body, It's crazy? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:14 PM PDT |
Question: Help, confused and hurt. Did I get played? Why? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:10 PM PDT So I met this guy (Chris) at a party. We hit it off. At the end of the night, he got my number and made me promise that I would see him again. He texted me that night and made sure I got home safe. I thought he was an absolute sweetheart and intended on seeing him again. That same night, my friend (Rachel) hooked up with Chris' friend (James). For the next couple of weeks, I began "seeing" Chris. We had sex a couple times and he said he was really starting to catch feelings for me. Along with my new blossoming relationship, Rachel also began seeing Chris' friend, James, very casually. But that soon fizzled when James had stated that he wanted to have a threesome with Rachel and myself. Of course that never happened. But days later, I got a text from an unfamiliar number. It turned out to be James. He began flirting with me and telling me how he was into me and wanted me to come see him. Of course I told Rachel, who then told me she had gotten a text from an unfamiliar number, as well, who turned out to be Chris, telling her the EXACT same thing James was telling me. Chris hasn't tried talking to me for a week now, but has been incessantly texting Rachel, begging her to come see him. James continues to text me and Rachel, asking us both to come see him (separately). I think Chris and James know that Rachel and I know that they're trying to play us both. But I'm still insanely confused. What on earth happened? Why are they trying to "switch" girls? |
Question: What does he want us to be? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:10 PM PDT Guy texts me every day for six months. We have seen each other 1 time in six months. He spent the night with me and yes we slept together. He says he loves me, misses me and wants to be with me. We talk on phone some, facetime some, and text every day for six months. If he only wanted me for sex, wouldn't he come see me more than once? Like every week or something, What does he want us to be? |
Question: What to do when you might be in love with your taken best friend? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:08 PM PDT I've been friends to best friends with the same guy for over 5 years. It started with us liking each other and then we decided to be just friends. I feel like he's supposed to be who i'm supposed to grow old with but he's been on and off with this girl for at least 2 years. She doesn't appreciate him and treats him pretty poorly a lot of the time. he knows that but he loves her and thinks its better than being single. I don't know what to do here and don't really have anyone to turn to.. |
Question: Guy flirts with me but has a girlfriend? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:08 PM PDT I met this guy online and we hit it off right away, we have a lot in common and have fun just talking, unfortunately he lives on the other side of the country. We talk for about 2 weeks and he tells me he has a girlfriend. To me it seems like he s missing something from his relationship if he started talking to me. He talks to me first almost everyday and even though I know he has a girlfriend I m starting to crush on him. I am not one to come between a couple but I told him I d be a friend if he needs one. Now he starts to call me sexy and beautiful and although I do like the nicknames I still wonder why he s doing this to his girlfriend. I have told him over and over I m just a friend and if he ever wants to more than friends then he has to be single first. He seems torn because he said he needs to stay with his girlfriend but then he keeps talking to me. I don t really know how to explain to him that I d be happy to be friends for now and that s it unless he decides to change his mind about who he wants to be with. I don t want to be led on or causing problems which is why I am staying just a friend. But I kinda want to be more than friends cause we get along a lot more than any other guy I ve met, but I don t want to come between him and his girlfriend. I don t mind staying friends but it kinda hurts to just be a friend when I m starting to crush on him. |
