Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:58 PM PDT Husband of 4 years has always accused me of cheating, sleeping with a neighbor, the guy from a store, when a guy looks at me it must mean I'm flirting back and recently, he said that he noticed I looked at his mom and that I probably have looked at her as a woman... this happened when we were with his mother havin dinner, talking, etc. I've helped his mother in things, I wash the dishes and clean up for her whenever I visit. We can actually talk like normal human beings. With my husband, everything is a question, a why, an argument. I'm straight but he does have problem with lesbian chicks who have tried hitting on me. I always sided with the right side and being judgmental makes you wrong. He not only talks negatively about gay people but also about black guys which he knows I find attractive because I'm an open person who doesn't need to hide things from me. But him accusing me of looking at his mother in a sexual way is beyond disrespectful. Any advice? Talking doesn't help, I've tried telling him to see a psychiatrist which he refuses to. |

Question: My husband gets mad when I ask him for his help! Why? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 07:21 PM PDT Even a small insignificant task like putting his clothes up so they're out of my way while I put a load of laundry in! But when he asks me to do something for him, I have to drop everything I'm doing and run to his side right then! |
Question: What reason does a man have to get married? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 06:46 PM PDT A man gets all of the negatives and none of the benefits of marriage. Marriage is just a piece of paper anyway, so why bother? |
Question: How do you react when your spouse is trying to make you jealous? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 06:30 PM PDT What's the best way to react when your spouse is trying to do things intentionally to make you jealous? |

I dont want to get married at All. I just don't believe in it, if i do then i just want to sign papers and thats it, i dont want a big thing because i dont have any family . What should i do? |
Question: Would u forgive a cheating husband? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 03:57 PM PDT I tried to 4 give my husband but he does it again with the same girl. She believes his lies. She knows we are married but I think she doesn't want 2 see it. I tried leaving him but a few months later, he cries and says he wants his family back. We have a 3 yr old. I know he loves me but i don't know why he keeps talking 2 her. I disconnected my phone. But I know he will try to get me back. What can I do? I don't want to run back because I want him 2 realize what he has and appreciate me but I don't want 2 ignore and that plan don't work. He hasn't called because I think he is waiting it out for me to cool down. But a man should fight for his family. Should I just sit and wait or try something like counceling. I think he should work harder than me. I just don't know what to do. I want to call but don't think it's my job to do so. What would anyone reading this do? |
Posted: 08 Jul 2016 03:38 PM PDT For most of our marriage, my husband has been repeatedly caught with other women on his phone and in his text messages, after bouts of going out, partying with single guy friends and getting drunk. We got together in 1996 and until 2001, I also worked, then our first daughter was born and I became a stay at home mom. He began his own used car business and I worked there as well. Taking care of titles and running paperwork. If he went on vacation or a trip, I stayed at the car lot to field customers and answer questions, take payments, etc. In 2007, our second daughter was born and in 2010, my husband expanded the business. However, directly after moving into a bigger building a lot, he began an illegal poker game out of the business and I no longer felt comfortable working at the building. I made demands that he stop, but he never did. He would lie to cover it up and then finally just full fledged refusal. The individuals who we rented the building from ended up going into foreclosure and we had to remove our business from the property. We now have no car lot of our own. He places the cars at another person's car lot and sales together with him from there. However, last year, I discovered that my husband as a side job took up selling prescription pills and marijuana. I made demands that it stop immediately, but he won't and it has not. Fast forward to a year ago, where I then found on his phone, text messages between him and two women, that made it clear they were sexual. As well as Prostitutes. Fast forward to last week, when he went to mexico...confessed to trying to exchange pills, which didn't work out and so him and the group of guys went to a strip club where he had sex and caught chlamydia..and then came home and tried to have sex with me..and didn't tell me about being tested for an STD, or that he was diagnosed with one. I was making maneuvers to move me and my children out of this nut house, but he came to me last night and told me, he's moving out. He wants a separation, he will continue paying for everything, as well as extra money for gas, food, groceries and the children will remain here. My question is, what do I need to do to protect myself? as far as him continuing to pay bills and extra money for food, gas, children activities And, if I take on a job, will this hinder me in court for Alimony and child support amount. My worry is.. I married him very young, and only have my GED and have been out of the work force since 2001. |
Question: Should my son pay 8,000,000 baht to marry his Thai girlfriend? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 03:23 PM PDT My son has been seeing a lovely young lady from Thailand. They are talking about getting married and I knew that it's customary to give a dowry to marry a Thai girl. But this amount seems extreme. She has a college degree, is a CPA, but most of her education came from a university in Thailand. I'm concerned this might be a scam. |
Question: What's wrong with having a so-called doormat wife? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 02:44 PM PDT Probably most women would describe my wife as such; but i think she's perfect. She asks my opinion for eveything and needs my approval before doing anything. She works alot on looking beautiful for me and satisfy me in bed - new moves, lingerie, toys etc or asks if her V is tight enough. She always asks how she can improve at home, in bed and in her cooking. Needless to say the house is always sparkling clean and she always looks like she came out of vogue magazine. Maybe the only thing that annoys me is that she bombards me with text messages all day. I wish there were more women like her out there for men to know whats it like to be a man. So whats wrong with having a doormat wife ? She loves being with me, i dont ask or dare ordering her to do anything, she works and makes her own money. She wont take a dime from me ( and i get her gifts to say thank you or take her to places she likes, she likes dinners and cinema etc or dessert by the river ). |
Question: I think I might be depressed? Please help me? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 02:36 PM PDT My husband caught me in bed with his best friend and I'm really struggling with dealing with this. My husband threatened to leave me but I think he's overreacting. I'm so upset he was supposed to be in work, it's all his fault that I'm a mess. I just want things to be how they were when he didn't know. |

Question: My husband and I have been arguing every day. how do I get us to stop arguing? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 10:27 AM PDT I'm just tired of arguing and he keeps it going or doesn't talk to me for hours and even goes to sleep mad and upset sometimes. I'm very calm when talking but he always yells, ... These arguments r small too... Like chores, who goes out more, ... Waiting for each other after work. Who cares more. I'm fed up with arguing and him making me cry by his harsh Words always calling me a ***** every time he's mad at me, which is a lot... everytime he is able to do something like feed the dog when I go out to my good friends going away half across the world, he rubs it in my face saying "I do everything and you just go out" like it was just one time really end it was an occasion for me. I feel like he always points out the negatives in me and never the positives... He makes me feel sad ... I just don't know what to do any more... I've been married to him got 1 year and 10 months now |

Question: Husband said he never loved me. How to move past this? I hate his guts right now.? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 10:10 AM PDT I will divorce him. We are speaking through lawyers but how to move past it as a person. He was my first relationship. |
Question: Am I a piece of ****? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 10:09 AM PDT I'm keep lying to my pregnant wife because I'm cheating on her. It's not her fault. My sex drive is extra high and now when she's pregnant hers isn't. So I've been hooking up with few hoes they're mean nothing to me....but I know she's guessing and once she finds out she's going to leave me. I don't want to lose her, I love her more than anything. What should I do? |
Question: How would you celebrate your 20th wedding anniversary? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 09:42 AM PDT My husband and I will be celebrate 20 years of marriage on 11/2/16. We decided to elope, because of our military obligations back then. We're thinking about having a renewal of vows, and having our marriage blessed in the church. Were also thinking about taking a trip to Las Vegas too. We don't know yet. How would you celebrate your 20th wedding anniversary? |

Question: Wife keeps breaking chairs!? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 09:03 AM PDT She's broken 2 wooden kitchen chairs, recliner, rocking chair. She 200 pounds and 5'8. She's not fat or obese. She slams into the chairs leans on the legs till the give way. She doesn't seem to learn or have a desire to change the way she sits. Are 4 year old throws a tantrum every time she breaks one cause she doesn't understand and the chairs are very badly destroyed and in pieces. Wife just seems to be doing it for fun... Question: Is it really cheating if you don't get caught? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:22 AM PDT I am very careful about being discreet so I respect my wife's feelings. My girlfriend understands the situation and would never do anything to hurt her. I need to stay married so I don't have to go bankcruot with child support and alimony. We offer our kids a great life and home by staying married. I'm really a good man and my girlfriend knows this. That's why we are together too. So is it really cheating if everyone is happy and no one gets hurt? |
Posted: 08 Jul 2016 08:01 AM PDT I was with my husband for about five years prior to our four years of marriage. I went through a lot in the relationship. I was hit, emotionally distraught, psychologically ****** to where I ended up having anxiety attacks if I were to use my phone near him over his constant accusations of cheating, which I never did. I never slept with any other person besides him. I had to constantly argue and defend myself from his lies against me as a person. I never called the cops on him when he physically hit me which I should have, but I was younger and naive. He never suffer any consequences for his actions. He also has a mother who enables his violent outbursts. She lies for him, just to keep the peace. She does as he says to keep him calm. He worked hard and provided financially but, wasn't the kind of guy I was expecting elsewhere. We separated and I never asked him for a cent. Eventhough I was unable to support myself, I didn't asked him for money. He didn't even bothered helping me financially in over a year. Then claimed that because we weren't sexually together, I lost my rights as a wife and that he had the right to divorce. I want to get divorce, I've been miserable for too long. But, I also find it unfair that he wants me to sign off and that's it. I lost a lot in this relationship. Should he really be set free like nothing ever happened? |
Posted: 08 Jul 2016 06:43 AM PDT My wife is addicted to drama and will do anything she can to stop social injustice. Well, let me rephrase that. My wife is addicted to drama and will do anything she can to stop social injustice AGAINST HER (like people talking behind her back about her or spreading rumors - both catty things that she had to deal with as a little girl and she had to deal with in a Mom's Group she quit 4 years ago). In other words, my wife is looking out for herself and could care less if people have REAL problems with her. In her mind, they can have all the problems they want, but they can't discuss them with anyone BUT her; and when they discuss the with her, she MAY care enough about the situation to do something about it (but probably not - in my experience it goes in one ear and out the other - which is why I'm here). Anyways, my wife knows I would never have an affair. Not only am I loyal to her, but I'm honestly not that attractive (I have masculine and feminine features - plus I'm overweight by 80 lbs). So the only reason she checks my browser history is to catch me using Yahoo! Answers and ANONYMOUSLY discussing our marriage problems with STRANGERS. She hates that I do this. She believes that all you people do on here is plant bad ideas in my head and all of you are marriage wreckers... So my question is, should my wife be allowed to snoop behind my back to read my internet history? Should I stop leaving honest trails of my activity and force her to deal with her anxiety? |
Posted: 08 Jul 2016 06:31 AM PDT Last night, while I was trying out the advice given to me on here, I learned something about myself and about my wife. Something that I never really noticed was a problem, but with my new "codependency" lens at looking at MYSELF, I was able to see how I enabled my wife's crazy... As Trina mentioned yesterday, I'm a people pleaser; I try to make people happy by being accommodating and showing them that I take them seriously by showing treating their requests with a sense of urgency. I wasn't always this way though, I became this after my wife gave me an ultimatum and she threatened to leave if I didn't start taking her needs more seriously... Actually, taking her needs was something I was lacking, so she had ground to stand on; but her needs turned into "needs" (wants) and I couldn't tell the difference any more. She was hiding wants/desires as needs and she's always had believable reasons on why it was a NEED not a WANT (personally, I do believe things beyond survival are needs, but to what extent? I don't know). So I "enable" my wife's crazy by allowing her (for the last 7 years) to expect instant gratification from me. Jump, how high. And last night I attempted to resist her and she was not happy, she wasn't sulking like I expected, but I knew a fight was brewing... My wife didn't do any team sports as a kid, and she barely played board games, so she never learned patience or turn taking. Like many other Millennials, she expects it all right NOW. How do I comfort her? |

Question: Ok so I'm in a real pickle...choosing between husband and mom&sister.? Posted: 08 Jul 2016 02:43 AM PDT Long story short, my mom and my husband do not get along, at all. I can't have them in the same parking lot without a fight. My marriage hit a rough spot and I decided to move with my mom to another state. 4 days before I was going to move, my husband told me he wanted to get help for our marriage. So I told my mom that I wasn't moving with her, that I'm going to work on my family. Was I wrong to choose my husband over my mom? Who would you choose? |

Question: Is getting married at 45 too late? Posted: 07 Jul 2016 10:23 PM PDT |
Question: I think my wife is extremely depressed. Help, please? Posted: 07 Jul 2016 10:11 PM PDT My wife is 28, I'm 39. We have been married for 7 years, and have two 4 year old boys. She honestly just seems dead. She comes home from work around the same time, makes dinner, plays with the boys for two hours, but she just seems so sad. My son said, "We're trying to be nicer to mommy lately because she's sad." After she puts them to bed, she usually grabs some vodka, drinks it. She doesn't even sleep with me anymore. She hardly eats anything. She's getting very thin, her skin looks just... Dull. One night I'm pretty sure I heard her crying. I didnt want to disturb her. I have no idea what's recently been wrong. On the weekends, she sleeps for ridiculous hours. My wife has some issues in the past but she hates talking about them. She did tell me once that she was "taken advantage of" as a child. She also told me when she was 14, she was raped. She's never gotten any sort of help, and for years, she was fine. |
