I was facebook friends with this girl for years. Graduated with her from high school. Even though I have a facebook, I never was really on it. Recently I post a couple of pictures of my self because I haven't updated my profile in a while. Then I noticed this girl unfriended me. I already met his mom , dad, brother, sister, and his nephew and grandmother but i never met his aunts, cousins and his uncle. I got invited to his uncles 40th birthday party at a fancy restaurant that is today. I know my boyfriends going to be with me but i'm still kind of nervous. The difference is my boyfriend has a huge family while mine is small due to my dad being an only child and my uncles (only 2) on my moms side dont speak to me or my family :/ Im not used to a large family and having everyone in the family be at a party either

My boyfriends Uncle invited me to his 40th birthday party. I heard today that people are being charged $70 for some reason now. According to what I heard my boyfriend and I are able to split the money but my boyfriend told me he doesnt think its fair for me to pay money for his family parties/functions so he got the $70 for both of us. I hear my boyfriends dad and brother ate bailing because they dont want to pay $70 for going to a party now. Why would they end up charging people the last minute for going to a party though? My boyfriend didnt want to bail like his dad and brothet because his family is excited to meet me for the first time.
