So...basically I'm a 20 year old guy who works a full time job at a health foods store, lives in beautiful Northern California, goes to the gym regularly, and has an adorable puppy who would follow me to the ends of the earth. Sounds great, right? But here's the thing. I have this constant feeling of...I guess loneliness. Or maybe it's emptiness. Honestly, I'm not really sure. But after a breakup that left me border line suicidal and countless failed Tinder dates and attempts at getting to know someone, I feel like love just isn't possible for me. I've come to the point where it feels like the better option is to stay alone, so that no one can break me any more than I already have been. I love zoology, it is my greatest passion in life, but sadly not many people seem to share my enthusiasm for the subject. I feel like kind of an outsider because I don't tend to follow the norms of society and I sort of have my own way of living life, which I can only assume is what's putting people off from me. I'm socially awkward at the best of times, and striking up a conversation with someone is about as daunting as climbing a mountain for me. I guess I just feel like kind of an oddball that no one really wants anything to do with. I have a nice haircut, I shower and brush my teeth, I'm tall and well built. I don't think I'm ugly. My boyfriend had amblyopia amd strabismus as a child and when we got home he broke don't we crying because he didn't want to,get a surgery for his eyes. He understands he needs to have it done but he's upset it's happening. I made my boyfriend some fudge brownies and brought them over with stuff to make burgers and fries. I've never seen him this afraid before what can I tell him to call him? I'm taking off the day tomorrow amd I will drive him to amd from the hospital. We live in Utah and we both go to BYU. What can I do to help my boyfriend? Also what can I do make his recovery better. I got him a package and his mom is flying up to take care of him. Since me and my boyfriend can't sleep together yet since we're waiting on marriage. |

We had an argument, lots of hurtful words said, he rubbed his happiness in my face and said he'd take care of her forever and how I can basically F off. They get married, I don't hear from him for 2 years. In Oct. 2017 he texts me & says "I owe you an apology. I'm getting a divorce, I already signed the papers. I rushed into this marriage & I blew it." I was excited to hear from him again so I called him & we talked, agreed to meet on a Wed. That Wednesday rolls around, I text him "I forgot to ask you, do you have any kids now?" He says "I have a 3 month old." Shocked, I said "Wow." He said "I feel like a failure, I'm trying to learn to be happy again." I said "I don't know if I can handle you having a kid with her." He said "Ok I get that." I said "I'm excited to see you again so lets just talk about this in person." He then cancels the date saying "I'm going through a lot right now and its not fair to do this to you. I'll let u know when a good time to meet is." I said "Ok just let me know." He said "I will I promise." Havent heard from him in 3months. Am I right to not text him first and continue waiting? |
