Question: Ladies, is there hope for me and what do you think? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 03:02 PM PST I'm a senior in high school i was talking to this really hot Asian girl at school she gave met number we talked a little I tried no not come off strong but New Year's Day i asked how's the new year never got a reply. Never bothered to contact her since than but not gonna lie I'm heartbroken. I'm not the handsomest or smartest guy but I respect women even if that makes me a ***** and yeah I cook too. But I don't think I'm ugly ive got a baby face and I got approached by this cute Latina girl who was 21 when I was 16 but even she broke my heart. I've got this older Latina (37) I can invite on Saturday to practice our dancing for a party in July but she's too old. It would be nothing serious even if she let me try something. But idk man I'm down in the dumps and all my friends betrayed me so I don't have a soul to talk to. I'm tired of being lonely and I get my hopes up too high when it comes to females I'm always respectful and friendly too. A lot of guys say I'm ugly but compared to them I know I'm not I'm just not Channing Tatum
Posted: 10 Jan 2018 02:51 PM PST We've been dating for only 9 months. Whenever I try to break up with him, he pretends like we're still together, driving to my apartment and won't leave till I come down, or just completely ignores it so I don't have any closure. This guy has consistently lied to me, makes me pay for every date, and love bombs me every time I try to leave. He's a medical student applyinh for his residency match so I can't call the police if he won't leave my apartment. It would ruin his life. I know the easy response is to just go, like you hear stories of stupid girls who stay with manipulative guys all the time and you ask yourself how could someone who respects themselves stay??! Well, as a young lawyer who has worked her whole life trying to be an advocate for those who can't defend themselves.. the answer is that it gets really complicated when you love the guy, nomatter who you are. However, it has gotten to the point where every time he does something hurtful, like driving 3 hours to see a girl he used to have sex with, and lies about it.. he ghosts me after I find out. Perfect. Thats the perfect time to leave right? I start to let go. He comes after me and promises me he'll never hurt me again. I'm stupid and in love so I give him another chance. I've given him about 35 more chances-the ghosting period just gets longer. Its to the point where I'm so stressed out that I'm coughing up blood and he still doesn't let me go. I'm scared now. Obvious but incredibly appreciated advice? How do you leave an abusive relationship where the guy ghosts & constantly lies to you but won't let you leave??
Question: What's it like having classes with older kids? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 02:22 PM PST I'm going to be a freshman soon and i am nervous to have classes with the kids older than me. It is uncomfortable? Will they treat me differently? Any advice?
Question: Is it normal to feel this way about my cousins or am I a terrible, spiteful person? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 01:04 PM PST My 2 cousins and I are adults now but I have a terrible memory that still stings me to this day- one had recently gotten her driver's license and being teen girls we went cruising. I was always put in the back seat because they told me I was too ugly to be seen in the front seat and no cute guys would stop if they saw me. This is only one of many things that I went through during my teen years at the hands of my own flesh and blood. But now, 15yrs later, one cousin is fat with 3 kids and a cheating husband, while the other would sell her soul for a pain pill and has the rotted teeth to prove it. I have a great husband, 2 wonderful children, we bought our home new and I drive a new car. I kind of feel like, haha, you girls got what you deserved. Am I awful for thinking such a thing?
Question: Why doesn't he show me affection? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:36 AM PST I have this friend, we've known each other a year and a half and have been friends for 10 months. He's 11 years older and like a mentor to me and in a way, he's like a big brother to me. We're not SUPER close, but close enough that he knows how to get to my house by memory and hasn't needed my address in months. He shows he loves me as a friend by trying to make me laugh when I'm obviously down, he helps me out when I need it; I jokingly told him once that I thought he forgot about me and he said "I generally don't forget important things", etc. He's never told me he loves me, though. Also, he's never hugged me. We used to work together and back when I still worked there and he visited, he gave my friend a side-hug, but he's never hugged me. I gave his family a bunch of presents for Christmas and even then, he was appreciative, but didn't hug me. He's married--do you think he deems it inappropriate? I've called him "bro" and "the big brother I've never had" (he treats me a million times better than my biological brothers), so I would hope he wouldn't think I thought he meant it outside a platonic way. Again, he definitely SHOWS it, but I want him to say it once in a while. Do you think he ever will hug me or tell me he loves me?
Question: What’s the difference in having a baby and being married then divorcing and being single ? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 10:57 PM PST If you marry your husband have 3 kids by him and divorce , how is that seen as any better than ; having a child by a man you aren't married with that has to still pay child support ? I'm both scenarios they end up single and even worse that you have multiple children by one who you are now divorced from .

Question: Have you ever cheated before and gotten away with it on someone you really shouldn't have? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 10:49 PM PST Soo.. Long story short, my friends mom is older and I feel like she's giving off vibes and signs that she might be interested in me. (21) 1. She is married but it's been broken before with the husband cheating but they're are still together. 2. She persistently texts me and asks my friend to ask me to come over and help baby his little brother /her son. 3. When she's drunk she repeats my full name a lot in coverstation which got to the point where I addressed she was saying it quiet often. BONUS: I overheard her work schedule is opposite of her husbands. .... Does this whole thing seems as fishy to you or is it just me? I'm in a relationship and wouldn't like to break it, but how to get away with it l?
Question: Isnt it sad that even if 2018 will be good it still wont be like 2016? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 09:59 PM PST I am 17 yr old boy now and turned 17 just last month. I am getting a feeling that 2018 will be good because justin timberlake released new song and will release a new album too this year. 2017 was a pretty sad and boring year as I didnt have fun in my 2017 vacations and chester bennington of linkin park died. But 2016 was awesome I was just 15 yr old that time. I loved the shawn mendes songs which he released and we went to Goa in overnight bus from bangalore. I remember that the bus was filled with bachelor guys in their 20s and I was getting scared that they may bully me eventhough my parents were with me. I was feeling as if I was a 1st grader or a kindergartener. But theb I thought they wont because I was young and they wont do it. Most of them were taller than ne and I am 5'7 ( 170-171 cm ). Then the bus haulted for dinner at a roadside restaurant and it was awesome I was running around like a little kindergarten kid. Full night in the bus was cool I was just feeling like I was a small kid. Then in Goa we ate crabs for the first time and ate in an awesome restaurant. It was so much fun in 2016. Now as I am 17 in 2018 I dont think I will feel like a kid or go to suh trips again. Maybe I can still be like that but not anymore. I hope such a day will come back in 2018 too as its my last minority year. I miss 2016 a lot
Question: Am I wrong for being mad? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 09:43 PM PST I am 22 Years Old, and I have been planning on attending a conference for the last 3 months. However, it just so happens the conference falls three days after my chemo therapy treatment and of course I am dealing with side effects. My parents said I cannot go because it isn't good for my health, but the conference is only once a year. I know I am 22 and can make my own decisions, but my parents pay my medical bills so I feel like I have to abide by them. However, I am really angry that I am not going to this conference. Am I being unreasonable or am I not being realistic about what is in my best interest?

Question: Is manager acting unfairly or am i seeing it in wrong light? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 08:27 PM PST Hi, i will keep this brief as possible. I work in a bookshop and my manager has gone from bad to worse. She stays in office, goes out for swims for 3 hours leaving me on my own, but always gets angry when anyone else is alone. She constantly complains about mansplaining from other men and stupid white men... We're both white btw. In a year i have worked with no less than 5 employees who were all fire for laziness and incompetence, and i have spent weeks managing shop on my own several times. Now for the clincher, her husband was the first other employee and he walked out on her and the shop last july. She left for new york and inwas left and managed the store alone for nearly 2 months. I asked for payrise and she offered a dollar more to $13. I felt insulted. The other 2 part timers don't care and turn up late all the time and one smells so bad, that she refuses to get near him. Its like she has set a higher standard for me and when i questioned it today, she said it was all in my imagination!!!!
Question: Why do you think he's not adding me on FB? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 05:50 PM PST I know this sounds ridiculous because it's just social media, who cares? I just find it odd. I have this older friend, we'll call him James. James introduced me and my friend Tom to an older, married couple...Kim and John. This was all at church. Tom and I used to go to the "small group" that Kim and John taught at church so we know each other decently well. Tom and I have been over to Kim and John's house twice now, once for Thanksgiving (where we were the only other visitors other than John's parents, so there was a lot of chat) and once for a Christmas party (where we arrived late so nobody really talked to us lol). I friend requested John on FB (already have Kim on there) the night of the Thanksgiving meal. It's now January 9th, he hasn't accepted or denied it although he's changed his profile photo apparently. Granted, I am attracted to him. I can't deny that, but it doesn't go further than an attraction. I don't think I've been obvious with my attraction. I don't really know how to talk to him, but he's just an awkward guy in general. Even Tom doesn't know what to say to him half the time. He's quiet, mysterious and his eyes are so dark, they're almost black and they're very intimidating lol. In this case, he'd make eye contact with me and I'd look away, but that's not enough to say "hey, she obviously is attracted to me, I'm gonna distance myself from her". I saw him Christmas Eve and I was walking up the stairs and he was walking down the stairs. He said "Hi" and I looked up at him and awkwardly said "Hey" and we just kept walking lol. Why would he not add me on Facebook? Could it be just because we haven't known each other long enough, because we're not close or what? It's like I've been to his house twice, it just seems weird to not be FB friends.
Question: What are the challenges you have faced when living on your own for the first time? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 05:45 PM PST My boyfriend and I want to move out of our parents house and move in together this year. This will be the first time being on our own for both of us. Right now he is a fully time college student and I'm slowly getting into college. I am doing as much research as possible to help make living for us a little easier when the time comes. Any advise for my boyfriend and I? Thanks!
Posted: 09 Jan 2018 04:39 PM PST Why do parents believe their authority is being at question when the child is just opposing their beliefs in something?
Posted: 09 Jan 2018 03:58 PM PST We don't serve alcohol but he comes drunk.
Posted: 09 Jan 2018 03:33 PM PST Even if I ran around buck naked then attacked someone assuming I was not killed would be how long in jail like 5 years assuming I didn't kill nobody? I would never do that or anything. I believe its wrong and immoral etc and not something I am about to do.
