The other friend I paid for their food cause they didn't have any cash. My mom says that they should help pay for gas ($25) and parking ($20) because I have been the only one paying for it every time we ever went. I'm afraid to ask because I have anxiety you know? But I can't afford anything anymore. And I seem to keep paying for them every time we go out.(which is very rare because we go to separate schools now.) I don't know what to do but one keeps asking to go to another amusement park and I have to keep reminding them I'm poor now because of the other amusement park. And we still have a pass for! I paid once for a ticket for my cousin and my friend because we went out but that's cause I wanted them to go when they didn't want to and I paid for food. There was a new boy in our neighborhood that had autism, he was homeschooled because his parents knew if he attended public school he would get bullied incessantly. He was the perfect bullied victim, I came up with a plan, I craftily formed a fake friendship with him & convinced his mom to cancel his homeschooling. As he entered school, he indirectly shifted the target off of my back and plastered it onto himself. His parents cannot afford to get him back to the homeschooling program he was in, Thus he is forced to live a miserable high school life, and I am now spared from the abuse. I bragged to my mom about how easily manipulative I was and she called me a "dirty coward" for what I did and told me to defend that kid the first thing the next day or I would get grounded. I didn't do it, but I escaped punishment through a stroke of pure luck due to that boy telling my mom that I defended him, in hopes that I would be his friend again. However, I did not become friends with him and said it was nothing personal, but if I was I would get bullied too. Everything ended so peacefully for me. It has been four years since high school and I am in college, doing well. I googled the autistic boy and discovered he became a loser in life. He is now a criminal and he blames it all on the bullies. I am starting to feel a little bad about what I did, was it wrong? |

I have given her food from my own cabinets and freezer, I have bought her cigarettes, even though I do not smoke, and I helped her to get her Social Security benefits. I have even paid her bills when she "said" she couldn't. I have known for quite some time, that she has only been using me. She only calls or comes over when she wants something. There has been several times that money has come up missing. Even my medicine (that she can get high on) has come up missing. I ran short on my meds this month cause of this. One time I walked into my home office, and sat down in my chair and she sat at the extra chair I have by my desk. I had a $10 bill on my desk. I turned my back to look up something on my computer for her, and turned back around, and it was gone. I kept silent, like always. I have no doubt who has been stealing from me, no one else was here at the time of each theft. Today, I put my foot down and said "no more". This was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I don't have many friends, and I guess that was why I let her use me so much. She came over to ask for money. I sat her down and I told her that I knew it was her that had stolen from me. I told her I could not have her in my home any more. She started crying and sobbing. I held firm, but I started crying after she left. Why am I the one hurting so bad? I have known for a long time that she was only using me, so why am I crying? |

He enjoys going to the gym and gets pretty good grades in more advanced classes. In public, he is very goofy, welcoming, and outgoing. But in private (with best friends such as myself) he can sometimes get very distracted very easily, and then will majorly freak out over small things. He is very anxious and compulsive. But he constantly tries to be the life of the party. He seemingly has no sense of urgency. If someone dear to him, such as myself, were to call him and say it's a dire emergency, he very well may hear the phone ring and get the message, but not respond until up to days later. If someone were to text him saying they have very emotional news, he has a very hard time emotionally connecting. On the other hand, sometimes he responds to people immediately. If you were to tell him how much he means to you, he would say something like "I try to make everyone feel special!" And I've heard past girlfriends of his (which he claimed to love a lot) say romantic things to him and the response would never be appropriate. It sometimes seems like his mind is on another track from everyone else's. Is this very mild autism? |

These girls bonded with my mom who is a doctor mostly because they could ask her questions about their body and mostly about their reproductive system. Mom gave them correct information and corrected MANY errors in their thinking about their bodies. This info really opened their eyes and hopefully made for less teenage pregnancies. These girls told their friends about the sleep over and several other girls ask if I would have another sleep over and invite them. I did this and had the same result. They all wanted to talk to my mom about their bodies. I did this 4 times. I am not sure how I should feel about this. I feel a little bit unusual about sharing my mom with these girls. Mom is always available to answer their questions as she has seen the tragic consequences of bad information on teen girls lives. She will help me through my life problems and I will help her, she's so supporting and caring, consdering she's a blunt and reserved person. We can talk about anything, we've cried to each other on the phone and have helped each other through tough times. She helped me when I reached a low point in my life, I was at a bad point the other day.. she called me and got after me for considering something stupid. She said how special I was to her and that she would be heart broken if anything ever happened to me. We were on the phone for 3 hours that afternoon. | Question: Why do I feel like I hate myself? Posted: 18 Sep 2017 07:50 AM PDT I used to be all alone but I was happy. I had good grades and I never had to put up with anyone. Then times changed, people changed. I met new friends and now I feel as if I'm living in my shadow. I keep asking myself if I would be better off without them. Before I had friends I didn't care I was only concerned about myself... Now I have friends and I'm always there for them but they don't see the real me that's inside...they don't know how much I hate feeling this way....despite having friends I feel all alone...it's like I've betrayed myself....now I feel emotions.. I feel pain...it hurts more being stabbed and betrayed my your friends than strangers.... Why do I feel so alone...why do I feel this way when I should be happy? Happy that I have the things I always dreamed to have... what is wrong with me? Am I losing myself? ): Whoever said to end my life is wrong. Problems are temporary I would never raise a hand against myself or anyone else. Ending a life is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. My question is why do I feel this way not whether I want to do something reckless. |
| Question: Why do I feel so alone? Posted: 18 Sep 2017 07:36 AM PDT I have friends who are there for me and family members who love me very much. But I feel really lonely. All of my friends are in other classes. I used to be alone and had great academics now my academics went below my standards. Although I try to have fun I still feel so alone. It's like I have no feelings at all. Like there's a huge hole in my chest invisible to everyone. Why do I feel so lonely when I should be so happy? Is it because I'm a foreigner and I miss my home country? Or is it because I am actually lonely without realizing it? I don't know whether this is a phase or not. I felt exactly the same when I was all alone and was hated by everyone. I used to feel alone because I had nobody apart from my family. But now even though I have friends who protect me I still feel really alone...and lonely.. |

Lately she has been spending time with some of our guy friends when I'm not around. I made a comment about it and she didn't like what I had to say. We NEVER fought and she was the best friend I could have ever wished for. No other friends that came after her could compare. I miss her and I miss that time. I am a twin, so the three of us were naturally best friends. In 2009, before my twin sister did an exchange year, she and her argued and it turned into a fight. I don't even know what the reason was but after that she never contacted me again. I didn't have a grudge against her, I just happened to not contact her either, and I was embarrassed somehow. Flash forward to today, I know that my sister has her phone number, and they messaged each other some time ago. I went through my sisters phone and found her number and would like to contact her too, but I don't know how. I just want to be friends with her again but I'm super nervous. What do I say to her? |

| Question: How do I get my best friend back? Posted: 18 Sep 2017 06:04 AM PDT This girl and I (Katy) were best friends in college and did EVERYTHING together. She graduated from college a little over 3 years ago, whereas I did not. I dropped out but will go back eventually. Things with her gradually began changing but now I feel like I don t know her anymore. She moved a year ago to New York to begin a new career. Every time she comes back home (which is TN) to visit, it s weird. We used to spend all day together doing nothing.. now I m lucky if she hangs out with me for three hours. When she s home visiting and comes to hang out, she will usually make an excuse about having to go meet her parents for dinner and then leave. She used to be so so chill, just like me. Now she s always in a hurry, uptight, a little pretentious, and never fails to try and show me up by wearing a designer outfit from head to toe when we hang out. I also feel like when she s home visiting she makes other friends a priority.. and you guessed it; they re her friends who have big careers now too. Sometimes I think she thinks she s better than me now that she moved to a big city and has a big career. She just isn t the same person anymore. I just want the REAL Katy back.. |

She was going through a rough patch, so I bought her a phone and added her to my plan. She's back on her feet now, and I want to take her off. She uses all my data, doesn't pay me on time or the full amount and I'm tired of it. I asked before if she would like to get her own plan and she said no because she likes Verizon. I'm annoyed and fed up with this though. how can I tell her I'm taking her off without her getting mad? She isn't fully on her feet, but it's her own fault because when she has money, she literally blows it on everything. I love helping but I feel like I'm being taken advantage of here. I don't want to lose a friendship though. |

Just bc you get somebody flowers bc you wanna make them happy, doesn't mean they should do it for you❗️You don't know how this or that person shows their love, but it's not gonna be in the EXACT same ways you do bro! Maybe they cook for you bc they care, or drive you places, or just stare at you when you aren't looking, hell. Instead of focusing on all you do for others, take the time to really look at what they do for you, & decide if it's what you need, but to not appreciate someone's efforts bc they aren't the same as yours is childish & self centered tbh. I'm not saying let someone treat you wrong, I'm just saying, let them show you they care in their own way, & eventually they'll learn what makes you happiest🙏 |

His friend he met last year in the dorms is in the frat and told him he was basically in, and that the president liked him. But my son said he was surprised and confused because he never got a text back for round two. I can tell you that my son was never very social growing up and he wasn't in the popular crowd . However when he turned 18 suddenly he blossomed and he's out all the time and has gained friends. He's so proud of the university he was accepted to and I know he was so, so, looking forward to joining a frat and attending the events and was buying into the brotherhood factor. |

She is only older than me by 1 year , she is 16 and I am 15. Maybe more of like a tutor . Why is she my math teacher ..... reason being , she is very good in math , and her mum is also a math teacher . During weekends and holidays .... she will sort of teach us math . She teach 13 to 15 year old mathematics , and even her peers , whom same age as her . And I have to say though she is 16 , she has already started on 17 and 18 years old math ! And even read up univeristy Math during her free time . She is quite cute and pretty . And everyone likes her ! And many of us get distracted .... Do you think it's okay for her to teach us ? Like is she too young for that .... or maybe is inappropriate ? |

| Posted: 17 Sep 2017 10:38 PM PDT I leave this Thursday and no one ever says anything about it. It's as if it's just a side thing. I'm jealous of those big family bonds other people have. I'm jealous of those going away parties people have, but I don't get that from my family. I'm not ungrateful, don't get me wrong, I just wish it felt like people were going to miss me when I leave. My best friends family is the opposite and I watch them care for her as she's leaving and watch them feel those great emotions when something big happens for her. But it's nothing for me. No one has said anything about me leaving, no one said anything about me graduating at #8 in my class, no one said anything about me going to college in high school, no one said anything about all the performances I did myself this year and when I auditioned and was accepted into my university's music program. I'm just so sad to leave nothing behind. I'm only excited to leave, not sad and I sometimes wish I had something to be sad about. I feel like I'm just being replaced because I'm already losing my room. They're renting it out as soon as I leave and I'll have no room to come home to. |

He went through all of high school with zero friends and would hardly speak to anyone due to the fact that he is extremely shy. I often ask and question him why he doesn't just spark up simple conversation with his classmates and he tells me that "he's boring and doesn't have anything to talk about". All he does all day and night is play computer games and watch Twitch/ Youtube, instead of being a normal teen who hangs with his friends. I genuinely believe he has a gaming addiction. Our high school was a small private school so everybody knew each other, so people all had their own friend groups and then there was my brother alone. It's not like he is a jerk or weird or anything, nobody had a problem with him- he was just plain old Will. Now that he graduated, I told him how this is his chance to start fresh and finally make friends, since everyone at college wants to make new friends. But nope. Its been over a month at college and he still hasn't even spoken to anyone or even attempted to introduce himself at all. Not even his roommate, who, might i add, also plays video games! My brother always complains that he has nothing in common with people so he can't connect with anyone yet he is even shy and antisocial with his roommate who also likes video games. I tell him i don't understand how he can go an entire month without socializing with anyone (not even the roomie). He tells me that he just can't. I have tried so hard to help him understand how to talk to somebody but he just says "I can't" and just gives up. I don't know what else to do and it just makes me so upset and sad. |
