The first one I became close with was toxic. We became friends over a semester. We were friends for like a year and a half, but she treated me like crap. Directly after I ditched her I got into a new group. This time, we hung out 2 months after we met. We got close prettt fast. Unfortunately, that group split up and I was left in the middle. So rn I'm kinda torn between 3 groups. I don't want to hang out with group one (either side of split friend group) because they make me feel like a third wheel. I don't feel like I belong in group 2. And group 3 is kinda mean. So I'm thinking that I should try to make new friends, but I'm wondering, does the time it take to go from friendly acquaintances to close friends affect the quality of the relationship? I'm getting kinda sick of nothing really lasting. |

I then asked them, why did you try to find me on instagram, they then said that they didn't, So I said "bs bs bs" and started spamming the chat. They then blocked me. So I texted them on I-message, this was our conversation. Me: Wow Friend: whats the problem Me: you blocked me Friend: because you were playing games Me: no i was not (I deleted these two texts after I said "no i was not") Me: You're crazy Me: I dont know what you're talking about Friend: Do not talk to me like that Me: sorry Me: we should create a discord server After this I got no response, my friend is 16 and a girl so, I might have pissed her off and I'm scared because in my program she is actually a high rank, AND THIS WAS ALL ON A GROUP CHAT with everybody from the program Dx did she probably miss the text? maybe a little mad and will get over it? tommorow she is supposed to give us a time, place and date for the program. i'll have to see if she gives it to me because she might not if she is mad, and might see my question about the discord server. please someone give me an answer i am scared for my life! |

He's basically HOMELESS, no where to go so he claims he's also disrespectful and a liar. We have gotten into verbal altercations before he needed a place to stay and he talked about me pretty badly (people tell the truth when they're angry). He's been at my plac about 3-4 days. Don't need him there never wanted a roommate. So far he has eaten my stuff without asking, stained my $600 sofa and made it smell like cigarettes, and left some of my things messy. I wrote out a agreement already which he hasn't signed because he isn't even able to pay any rent right now or deposit. We weren't waiting for his pay check July 7th to see how much he will pay per month. He complains about cleaning certain things and about the rent I want to charge (half since he's using half my space) and says he's there to save and boo hooing. Meanwhile he's buying drugs and wraps for the drugs. So why complain about what I charge if you're waisting it anyways. If it's not get paid to me drugs get his money. I'm about to throw him OUT I completely left the apartment to cool off and calm myself the neighbors probably heard our small argument because they were standing right in front of my apartment window. I'm embarassed and exhausted of this loser user. P.s he has help with minimal cleaning when I asked and every time does a half azz job. I have no reason to feel sorry for him besides I've known him a long time. |

We were bestfriends and she was the only person that knew everything about me. but 4 months ago we had a fight. She came to my apartment To speak in person, she needed something cleared up because she thought I had lied to her. I was explaining but she just walked away, I slightly held her for 40 seconds so that I could explain. Later she sent me a text and told me to never speak to her again. that apparently I made a big mistake by not letting her leave, and that she was also abused In the past. She blocked me soo I decided to write her 2 long apology letters, and I sent her a teddy bear but she went to the police. The police asked me to leave her alone or I can get in trouble, ( but I don't have a restraining order.) We haven't talked since February!!!!!! Could space heal our friendship???? Will she ever come back?? |

At the beginning of the year she used to make hurtful 'jokes' about the way I looked and the clothes I wore like 'I bet you got that from an expensive shop like you always do. Other times she would take a bad picture of me in class and show it round the table to everyone. When I stood up and did a presentation she was sniggering and whispering to this guy and when I sat back down she turned round in her seat and glared at me for ages. Sometimes she would be really nice to be and would compliment my appearance saying I look like celebrity and then saying 'it's a compliment because she's gorgeous' but then other times she would put me down and make fun of the way I looked. One time she splashed me with water and then said 'it's because your dirty' I went to a party the other day and this same girl who was there told me that a boy spread a rumour about me that I never shaved and I was hairy. She kept complimenting everyone except me. After she was being nice to me all of a sudden and looking after me and kept hugging me and telling me that she was my close friend. Then when I left home she said 'by the way you look great today' Why did she tell me a really horrible thing that someone else said about me a year ago? |

He'll be smoking during conversation, butt the cigarette out, then in less than 30 seconds, he reaches for & lights another one. I kid you not! This goes on all the time. He's careless too. Several times she'd told him to mind the smoke so it doesn't go in my face., but he says "I don't do it on purpose", yet this happens every time I visit. I'm at the point now where I don't want to visit as much because of the smoke. When I get back to my own home, my clothing & skin reeks of cigarette smoke. How to I say to her that I don't want to visit as often because of the smoke?, or tell her that her live-in's smoking habit annoys me.? I meant to type 27YRS. |

They won't let me have sleepovers at Americans houses but they can come all they want I can only sleep over peoples houses from my church who are also Egyptian. I only want to sleep over at one persons house and she lives about 3 minutes away and they known her parents for a few years now generally well. My brother can sleep over anywhere no question. I ask and why my brother can and i can't and they say "well he's a boy and you're a girl" They won't give me a straight answer and I don't know what to do. I didn t noticed at first but he ran all my other friends away with his negativity and constant complaining. He used me for rides to lunch, rides to get smoke 80 miles away twice a month and I would drive to the smoking spots. Always an excuse why he couldn t drive any particular time. He lost his job and I promised to keep him smoked out til he got another job and we was smoking Tues, Thurs, Fri and sat. He got a new job and I put brakes on his car using my shed and tools and charged him nothing. I got hit one morning and while my vehicle was being fixed he was to drive. I even payed for gas a few times. Soon it went from smoking 4 days a week to 1. Then I got my truck back and I was back to driving everytime and paying for gas (he never offered) to go smoke. Somehow we always ended up smoking more of mine. There was times while we was smoking he would fall asleep and drop the pipe and spill the smoke. It upset me but I never said anything. I ended up losing my job (I still had smoke) and he still expected me to drive him to smoke. Once I asked him to drive next time and he s says "idk I ll think about it" like he was mad that I asked. I ran out of smoke and I hoped he would return the favor but I never heard from him. I messaged him to hang out so we did one time but he never offered to smoke me up. Its been almost 2 months now. I feel like I ve been used. Should I stop being his friend? If so how should I go about it? |

Late in the evening, her bf indicated it was time for her b-day spanking, and then he gave her a b-day spanking over his knee. I never; Bother any of the girls Leave weights around Leave the cardio machine in my sweat Pretty much I keep to myself. There's a lot of cops that go there and when I accidentally over hear what these hot girls say to each other or makes me want to steer clear of them. They scary. I've noticed that there are some nice staff but most there have some kind of chip. They all he laughing amongst each other in conversation amongst other staff and members but once I walk through the door, there's an elephant in the room. Makes me feel uncomfortable and reminds me why it's hard to make new friends. I already got friends though. Just say in. The staff at the desk especially the girls will be burried in their phones and act like it's so card to card me in. Their "Hi how are you" that they say to everyone sounds forced and they seem pissed. I'm thinking of switching gyms since LA fitness is kinda expensive and the atmosphere is rude and obnoxious when the grunters come in. Been there for 4 years and likes it better before they redid the place which was stupid since now they only have 1 hyperextension station as opposed to 5. |

I've known this girl for 4 years, but we lost communication. My best friend has known her basically her whole life, and her parents are really good friends with the girl's. They're basically sisters. We went over to the girls house, and we were having the best time. Well.. the girl offered my best friend a drink, and she said no. I accepted one, and her and me BOTH drank. We did a few times. She put a video of me drinking on her snapchat, while she was laughing. Anyways, fast forward, her parents came home and everything was chill. All 3 of us went to bed, and the girls parents were both at work when we woke up. Long story short, someone showed the video to her parents. Now.. i had to go home before her parents came back, because of a family issue. 3 days later, my best friends and the girl told me that both of their families told them not to associate with me anymore. She lost her job, her boyfriend left, she struggles in school, she comes from an estranged family who want nothing to do with each other, and she's about to lose her house. No one is helping. It all drove Dani into a deep depression without any hope. She tries hiding her depression, but it's easy to see. One day I found out she had driven to this rest stop near a high bridge way out in the sticks. I kind of figured what she had in mind. Luckily I got to Dani before anything bad happened and found her crying on a bench. I didn't try stopping her, instead we just talked, and I learned Dani had considered jumping. I didn't know what else to say except that it was her life and decision, but it would suck because I care about her too and would be losing a best friend. Oddly enough what I said gave Dani renewed hope and joy so much so that she became attached to me. All she wanted to do after that was hug me for comfort. Since then Dani has been crashing at my place and working as a part timer at a small store. It helps, but she's still fragile/emotional. As her only friend I've become a lifeline she clings to and she shows so much gratitude. Moreover, I think Dani is conveying more affection than a friend would normally express. I mean just recently she crawled into my bed to cuddle (I'm a guy btw) and even kissed me on the cheek going out the door. What is going on? What do I do now? |

I have my best friend of nine years and another best friend of 12 years. I also have my sport where I made the girls varsity team as a freshman and have really grown to love my team. We live in a small condo where I share a small cramped room with my older brother as well. My mom is thinking about moving and I am very lucky that she would never force me to move. She wants to move to Texas because it's a lot cheaper than California, the condo we have here could be a huge house there. It would be amazing to live my life there and I know it would put less stress on my mom and I would really like to move ,yet my entire life is here. Should I consider moving? If anyone lives in Texas could you help me or if you've moved to or from California, thank you |

My best friend is on the cheer team & doing pageants. It's hard for my friendship group to get together lately because 2 of us are rarely free. However, one of my good friends always says she is busy when no one knows what she does. She doesn't have a job, isn't on the soccer team this year, and her mom is pretty strict. Yet she always says things like "oh I can hang out until 5 because I'm crazy busy after that". She still hangs out with us, so I know it's not to blow us off. |

When I confronted her, she said she forgot, then she said she was busy, BUT, she's online 24/7 on facebook, there's a notification about the bday, and we discussed it the previous night, so that proves it wrong, and abt the "busy" thing? , before i confronted her, she sent me screenshots of funny convos with her girlfriend, since she got a partner, that's all we talk about, her relationship, she's not interested in our convos like usual, and the screenshots show that she isn't busy enough to send a small text, we only see each other at school, in summer break, we use online chatting, because we travel with our families to different places, what pissed me off the most, is that I always made her bday shiny, i buy her things even tho I struggle to get em, I send her cards and throw parties for her, on top of that, she always plans things for other's bdays, gifts, parties etc... but mine? her bestfriend? nothing. Exes cheating on me yet when the guy they left me for treats them like crap or leaves them (Karma), they try to run back to me saying how I was the best boyfriend they ever had. Friends tuning against me or ignoring me. I make plans and they don't follow through. I was there for their problems yet they are no where to be found when I have mines. They ignore me for their other friends. Family was using me for my resources yet talked crap about me for no reason. And I know the problem isn't me because I don't do anything to anybody. I've always had people backs, always gave people what they needed when they asked without questioning their legitimacy, always gave people support, always tried to hang and do things with people. Yet people just walk all over me in the end or act like I don't exist... I've been considering just saying fck it and just starting over somewhere new. I'm tired of being rejected and putting my faith in people. There was a time when I had no friends for about 2 years and it was "heaven" compared to what I have now. It was very lonely but atleast I didnt have to worry about other people's efforts. I currently only talk to a handful of people and I'm thinking of just cutting them all off now. And I don't want new friends because itll be the same thing. And I don't feel connected to anyone when I'm in public. I feel like I'm better off alone, socially isolated. |

I never did well in school no matter how hard I worked. So I decided to make a career with this company, I'm lost. I have to fight with the people I work with everyday. These are miserable, angry people. Plus the customers aren't very nice to me. I hate how I have to live my life with a schedule someone made for me and spend hours somewhere I hate. I do it to make money and hopefully advance a career. I'm a very creative person. i just am unhappy and I see no alternative. I would like to one day not live at home and have money. But I don't like being a slave to a job. It's a sad thing. |
