Posted: 15 Sep 2016 05:50 PM PDT she thinks she's superior because she has a "high vocal range" and she's in choir and i'm not. i chose theater instead because our school only allows one elective. she constantly says she needs to lose weight and she's ugly and then gets mad when i say i want to lose some weight. (she's super skinny and i'm considered thick I guess) she also brags about how she's built "delicately yet curvy" and she believes strongly in gender roles. lately she's been constantly asking me why i'm mad and saying i've been bitchy to her lately. i love her but i feel like i'm losing my mind. |

I never told him how I felt out of respect to the friendship, but it made me act weird and emotional, and he'd get annoyed by it. I kept avoiding him because I was too vulnerable and thought he hated me, but he'd reach out to me after a while and we'd be close again. But recently we hadn't been very close. He took his bitterness out on women in rude ways and sometimes would lie, and on top of that I could tell that he didn't like me anymore, so I was just very annoying and overemotional around him, and our friendship suffered. Finally, he told a lie about me to manipulate his mom, and I felt like I should end the friendship but now I'm scared I made another selfish decision. What he did was unacceptable, but he's more than what he did. I still am in love with him, what he's going through now isn't who he really is. I want to reach out to him, earn his trust and help him through whatever it is that he's going through, and maybe even show him that I would never hurt him like the other girls and am worth being in a relationship with, but I don't think he'd want me around due to my selfishness. He hates me at this point, and I just don't know what to do. I want him back more than anything, but if I'm not what he needs right now, I don't want to get in the way. What do you think is best for him? |

I switched schools in 6th grade and he was there, then he had to leave school because of his cancer. However I still saw him since my mom worked with his mom, and I even would go to work with my mom to see him after I got to know him better. After talking to him for a while I found out he had a pretty bad life.. his dad didn't want to see him, his step dad treated him badly, and his mom was kinda indifferent to him. We became friends and were friends for a while, until he just suddenly died. It was so unexpected and Im still not over it. For some reason I always think I could have went to see him before he died but then it was so sudden so I couldn't have known. I just still feel so bad. Every once a while my mom will have to stop at her work real quick with me and I can't stand it. It's been about 7 months...I feel like I should be over it by now. It's not like we were family or anything. It's just so weird. Advice? |

Sometimes though it does become kind of dark, and he never turns the light back on, even though he knows it upsets me and I want the light on. He wants it off, because he states the light is not needed, and to save money. Who is right? Who is wrong? Should he be allowed to do this... it is HIS house and he pays the bills and tries to conserve energy? Or are his actions very insulting to me when I am using the room? She has had several family issues and is in foster care which she uses to manipulate people into feeling bad for her. In the group chat, she frequently references it and it is really pissing me off. Everybody in the group chat responds with "Oh, I m so sorry," or "I hope you feel better." And I dont understand how she basically does nothing and gets all this sympathy from everyone in the group. Because of her acting like this, she frequently gets free stuff from people who feel sorry for her, that she doesnt need? She has enough money but she uses her tragedies to make people feel sorry for her. How do I make her stop acting like a child and act like a grownup? She has made the group late on papers several times and I don t like how she just rides on sympathy. |

There's this girl that I really want to be friends with, because we seem to have a lot in common, but for me, it's just not that simple. I suffer from general anxiety disorder, and no I'm not just saying that I've actually been diagnosed and I take medication for it even though it doesn't seem to help, so I'm very socially awkward. And to make matters worse, she's the same way. We do fine in groups where people are actually talking and there's someone to start a conversation, but when it's just the two of us, it's just "..." It's SO awkward because I WANT to talk to her, but every time i try to it quickly transforms into just a puddle of awkward exchanges between us. And with my anxiety, in the back of my mind I'm always worried that I'm bothering her, even though she SEEMS to enjoy my company, she just never says anything! So we usually just sit quietly on our phones. And it's not fun. So, if you can think of anything to do in this situation, please reply. It would help a lot. |

Today a new teacher thought I was someone else, I didn't really mind since she was new, it happens all the time right? But then, when class ended and I was on my way walking to my next class, I overheard my friend talking to her friends about how the teacher thought I was someone else. She laughed and called me ugly! Look, I don't really care if people call me ugly, because I don't think i'm ugly. Classmates and friends compliment me all of the time. To be honest I kind of think she's insecure about herself, she always complains about how she thinks she's an albino because she's so pale. I also think she's saying it for attention, because i'm going to be honest here, she's a real attention whore. It's also really weird because she has called me pretty too. For the past 2 or three months her hours have been steadily declining from almost 100 hours every 2 weeks to only 57 in the next two weeks. She tried to talk to her boss about it but was never really given a straight answer. So does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? There are no men in her department in case anyone wanted to yell sexism. She's also not the worst worker, but far from the best. |

It worked for a while then it went back to me being the only one taking garbage out. Well they finally all moved out and I got new roommates that expect someone else to take the garbage out, which is me of course, and I want to talk to them about it in person. The only problem is that nobody is at the apartment at the same time, so it makes it hard to do that. I thinking about leaving a note, but I don t want to come off as passive aggressive or anything of the sort. What should I do?? Here's what I was thinking about putting in the note: Hey guys, I know everybody is busy with school and work, but if you see that the garbage needs to be taken out please take it to the dumpster. I don't mind doing this task, but I shouldn't be the only one doing it most of the time. The garbage bags are under the sink if you don't know where they are. Thanks! :) |

Posted: 15 Sep 2016 10:28 AM PDT Im in elementery school and everyone only becomes friends with somebody if there good looking and cool im ugly my parents and family tease me i have a very mean teacher she makes fun of my handwriting i just want one friends thats all and on tv shows i watch everyone has friends or in real life wherever i look everyone is talking at school why did god make me like this im pretty sure i deserve al, this all ive done was lie and steal and watch bad stuff but im trying to stop real hard but why did god make me like this im turning 11 My parents never let me have sleepovers or do anything fun I want to die but i dont want to kill myself because i dont want to grab a knife and stab it i want snyone else to do it for me i have no reason to live! |
| Question: Why is she such a fat sadistic bully? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 10:22 AM PDT I'm going through a hard time right now. I'm pretty much homeless and living out of a motel 6. My friends, Sara and Stephanie, wanted to meet up and talk to me about it. I didn't agree at first because they were being really hurtful, but then I (reluctantly) opened up to Sara and told her everything. Then she not only uninvited me from dinner, but she invited all our friends and told them my deepest secrets!!!! Why would she do that? And how can I get back at her? All of our mutual friends even blocked me on Facebook. She's so evil and manipulative, I never should've opened up to her. I hope she dies. She looks like a fat ugly hamster. I don't understand how anyone could do this other than jealousy. She's a low life gutter rat. Should I take a jab at the fact that her moms dead? None of our mutual friends will even speak to me ever again and they're all wrong about me. Help |

| Question: Whi is my mom such a pain.? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 09:13 AM PDT I have been told to stop taking thins apart or stop trying to fix things. I have a desk that is not as solid as oak and I moved it a little bit and it fell apart. Yesterday 09/14/2016 I cut out a patch of carpet to repair it and when my step-dad got home he asked me what I was doing and I said why don t I leave and he yelled theres the ******* door then leave. I told him I cut out a piece of my carpet to repair it and he told me if there was a piece cut out he would kick me out. I am 25 years old btw. I talked with my friend about hanging out today 09/15/2016 and I left a note for my mom who then proceeded to say that I never tell her anything. She then asked how I was going to get to the mall and back, I said I did not think of that. I told her I will tell my friend some other time as I proceeded to text my friend she entered my room saying that they would need to replace the entire carpet in my room and she asked me where the money was going to come from I yelled the same day as you finish school which was 09/22/2016. She then called me an asshole and said I don t finish school on 09/15/2016 why should I accomodate you when you destroy things. She then said it was like I was trying to hide the problem. I was trying to fix a problem. She then told me before she left if I am worse than my 13 year old brother and if I keep this up their door and I will send you to your birthmom. I am adopted btw. |
| Question: Is it wrong not to look for friends? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 09:03 AM PDT Is it wrong for me not to try (desperately) look for friends anymore? I've always had problem making new friends (and sadly, I always failed on making long term friendship and always lost contact after graduation) I join univ prep school after highschool, and at the time I was so focused on getting into university that I just didn't think of making friends. I didn't make any effort. I only say hi to my chairmate, and didn't chat to anyone (but I respond nicely when people talk to me). And probably for the first time in my life I've found a best friends and even a boyfriend that I still regularly in contact with after I get into college. But when I start college I found myself having problem making friends again. I realize that in prepschool the people there are the one that nice enough to be my friend. I don't know how to make a friend. I've been feeling so lonely because everyone in college already have friendship circle and I can't get into that circle. I try talking to them, but they'll forget my name the next day. I want to try to not put effort and focus on my study, but everyone keep saying that i need friends and connection in college and I can't wait for someone to befriend me. But looking for a friends just making me depressed, lonely, and obsessed. What do?? |
| Question: How to get my friends to stop making fun of me? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 08:58 AM PDT I know my friends mean no harm, but I've always been the object of ridicule in the friend group. I have this persona of thick skin, I always say I don't care what other people think and I suppose that's why they feel it's okay to make fun of me, but I'm really sick of it. It's gotten to the point where it's not just making fun of trivial things. They make fun of almost everything I do. The way I walk, sit, eat, if I mess up while saying something, and quite often the way I look (I'm not very attractive and pretty androgynous) and my interests. (I'm a bit of a dork, and really have no common interests with any of them.) It's all things I cannot help, and it's making my self confidence issues and anxiety plummet . I'm a big introvert and I hate to inconvenience people, and I rarely open up. I did try and tell one friend how I felt. She was very understanding, and said she would try and stop, but soon afterwards she used my openness against me and continued to make fun of me. I really don't think the answer is to stop being friends with them, cause they are good people, I just need a way to open their eyes. I know it's partially my fault for not defending myself but I really just don't know what to do at this point and would love some help. By the way, I'm 14 years old and female. |
