I have a friend I've known for more than a year now. She's over 4 years older than I am, she's from South East Asia, and she's married. I'm in college (a sophomore at a community college) and there's a white girl that says awful stereotypical things about black people (like welfare and rape implications). I'm black and have social anxiety and low self-esteem so being in this situation is causing me dangerous amounts of stress and self-loathing every time I think about returning to this class (and it's my favorite class too so I don't want to drop out). I don't speak to anyone in this class unless I have to. In response to her statements, no one says a thing after she speaks, except for the teacher that says "right, yes." I'm just asking because I have been working for a small children's clothing store for about 3months. I love the hours because it's convenient for my four year old and me. I go in at 8:30 and clock out at 6:30 and I actually get paid really good for the experience I've got. But I should have been trained to be cashier and a guide and go and other things other than cleaning the restroom and waiting behind the store for someone to mess up the fitting room. I was supposed to start about two months ago but the manager told me that it would take time to train me. I've worked for the company before about three years ago so I don't know what the problem is. Alright, now I was married to a woman who I had never loved. I am a college student. I live on campus and my actual home is 45 minutes from school, so I come home on the weekends. This is my fourth semester at this school (I transferred here from another school). Ever since the first semester my dad contacts me every single day either twice or three times a day and If I don't get back to him immediately within a few minutes or within a few hours he sends me a text right after the next one and then he calls and says "oh I was worried." There was a time when I forgot to reactivate my phone and he got upset and said "what's the matter with you and I was trying to get a hold of you" even after I told him I forgot to reactivate my phone. And one other time I forgot to reactivate it and he came up to the school asking for me. Is it me or is this obsessive behavior?

So awhile back my brother tried to kill himself. In the middle of the night he came to my room and woke me up, saying he took too many pills, it hurt, and he was ODing. I went and got our mom but I wasn't heart racing scared or anything. I acted like it was just another thing he did. As if he just clogged the toilet and didn't unclog it or something. I asked the guy I like if we could talk more, get to know each other not having the thought of a long distance relationship in mind, just wanted to keep in touch here & there while getting to know each other. he told me he wasn't interested in one because they were tedious & a lot of work.
