Posted: 16 Jan 2016 04:18 PM PST for the past year and a half my friend has been coming over constantly because she says she is sad, lonely or says she is locked out of her house. She has other friends but doesn't hangout with them after school. When I have plans with other friends and she's over she just stays there while I go out. I invite her to do stuff with us and she has a couple of times and always told me she wanted to kill herself while she was hanging out with us. When my other friends come over she hides in my room trying to avoid us. She can be a good friend like ask me how I'm doing, or asks me how my day is. We laugh together but now it's rarely we talk to each other when she's over and I hate it. I just can't handle being around her as much anymore as she is ungrateful for stuff and over dramatic about things and she is also very sassy but when I'm a little bit angry due to being annoyed by her and I let it slip she gets offended and it drives me crazy!! I'm scared to say I need space because I don't want to send her back to her house where she feels lonely and try's to overdose on pills. She has told me she's done it before but always threw them up later and I don't want anything to happen to her but it's like whenever she's around it's always so she can complain about stuff to me. I want to help her but I just don't know what to do anymore!! When she get's a boyfriend it's the complete opposite where she seems to forget about me and is clingy to them. What do i do?! Posted: 16 Jan 2016 03:43 PM PST I had this one friend for about two years but at one point I noticed that she doesn't even care about me and was just friends with me because she wanted somebody to amuse her when she was bored. While I was still "friends" with her, I introduced another friend of mine (a friend of three years) to her and they ended up getting along, but it turned out bad for me, and ended with me cutting off the first person and wanting to end the friendship with the second person. I was literally so hurt, and though I am usually not a person that shows many emotions, I felt crushed. My friend of three years, kept talking to me about my former friend, saying how they think I made a mistake and how I should just forgive them, and I ended up explaining them many times that I don't want to, because I have never felt this hurt in a very long time. Anyways, long story short. My friend of three years knows how hurt I was and still am, they know that I can't even handle the sight of them or the sound of their name, yet they are still friends with that person. Is it selfish and mean of me to feel hurt and kind of.. betrayed. After all I introduced them to each other, and they know each other way less them we do, but still they keep talking to them, knowing how hurt I am. (Sorry this is very long.) |

Basically I don't have friends at all and my mom wants me to go to church Sunday and I love God so much but if I went I feel like it would take focus of of worshiping and I would be distracted by thinking people are judging me and I'm so weird all the time I hate myself and basically I feel like people know I'm weird and other kids my age have friends and know I don't and I'm just so awkward and my mom noticed how I've been feeling even though I'm trying to keep it to myself and I'm trying to not bother anyone with my problems bc I would feel selfish. During that week we talked a bit and I made some jokes to him but the jokes could easily be misinterpreted so a couple times after joking I would apologize. We got back from break. I made a similar joke with a teacher. The peer was around. The teacher told me that the student told him that I had joked like that before. I asked the teacher to talk to that other student that I mean nothing by it and he did tell him. This past week, the student has been pretty friendly. He's been doing things like asking how I am, some talking, and waving when I or he would walk down the halls. Yesterday, I got the guts to ask him why he was starting to be so friendly. He told me before that he thought the things I said before was to be mean, but he knows it was only to be joking around. We parted wishing each other a good weekend. I know he's interested in some of the same things I am as well. Does this possibly have a chance of growing to a friendship? |

I was left with my 3 ****** 2 are brothers and the other ***** was the owner of the house. I got all my important stuff like wallet house keys and my 2 phones I'm just trying to figure if they took my $20 or I spend it I have spent over $150 and I was aware I had the $10 and a bunch of ones but, unsure if I got rob or just miscounted the money and for sure got a bag of weed pinch the owner of the house is a thieve even one of the brothers I'm cool with the other brother I know he ain't on that other ****. But, it went threw to many hands to know who did it and Im trying to figure out what I should do I'm cool with some of them but, how I'm I going to hang in a circle with some lairs and thieves what should I do in this situation? Her Netflix even ran out, and I renewed for 3 months, bc I sold an item online with advice from her, so i thought I owed it to her (again never felt obliged). Well, stupid as it sounds, we had a snap streak going for 24 days. It died, I told her it did, and she seemed nonchalant. Reason: she had a crazy night. My response ":/ k". Her response:"O my god fine, be that way, I'm done". I said "What? Why are you upset at me?" She replies "I Apologized and I don't feel like dealing with your "k"s." I then wrote her back saying I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I then said, I don't wanna fight over this etc, and she just ignores me. Hasn't even read msgs, and declined phone call. I talked to her friend (also my friend) about her, and she said she is like this all the time, and just give her space. So I said I would leave her alone and gave an apology message, with an inside joke between us hidden in it. Why did she snap and ignore me? I tried to apologize for saying K, but the damage is done :/ |

Oh, I use pointofmail, seems very reliable so far! :) Part of me feels it was breaking privacy but I really wanted to know that he at least still cares what I say! I don't think there is any other reason to read an email from someone you say you hate other than you still DO care! Other wise he could just delete them and opening each attachment, all pictures of me some times 5 or 6! I guess I always knew though! :) |

Originally she was saying she d skin a grizzly for me, not sure how it escalated so quickly but, yeah.... It reminded me of 101 Dalmations and so going along with the skin theme, I said I preferred freckles. The friend my friend joked about skinning (all three of us were there for this conversation), is black. I m white. While I hadn t really considered this fact before, it hit me right after the words left my mouth. Of course I blabbered about how there was this really cute redhead in my math class (which is true). They were 6th,7th or 8th grade and that is like 12,13 or 14 years) Like they were smoking,drinking,make out with every girl in the group... So my friend started to behave differently. She went to buy beer(she is 14, yes I know this generation sucks) and I was shocked. She drink the whole beer in like 10 seconds and after that she went to buy another one. She was acting so stupid,laughing so hard on thing that aren t even funny,singing loudly, she was rude to everyone, she pissed me. So I was so mad and I threw her beer from her hands and she started crying and screaming that she ll never talk to me again....In one hand i feel quilty but in another one i feel like I did the good think because she is only 14... I think that ive needed new friends since freshman year honestly (i am a junior). The problem is: im shy. No matter how hard i try to be friendly, people just end up thinking that I am awkward. Along with this, i can honestly say thay i dont like any of the 95 kids in my grade. My grade is very cliquey and judgemental (i go to a predominantly white private school). So as badly as i need new friends, i dont know where to find them. No one makes an effort to be my friend. Am i in any clubs? No because i would go to all of them alone and sit alone and therefore embarrass myself. Do i play any sports? Actually, yes! I play field hockey and all of the girls on my team hate me! Seriously! Going to practice is miserable and i only do it so i can put it on my college aps! So there u have it. Im totally, completely stuck. I feel depressed, stressed, anxious and incredibly isolated. I have a shitty relationship with my mom and my dad doesnt do anything to help me. So please, any advice would be hugely appreciated. Posted: 16 Jan 2016 12:01 PM PST I m 15 and my problem isn t that they don t approve of my internet friends (I ve met a few others at concerts and stuff) but my best friend whom I met through Instagram lives a few hours (by plane) north of me and I skyped with her nearly everyday over the summer and almost every weekend and I sent her a Christmas gift and they know her by name and I want to fly to meet her but they don t want me to go on my own but they also don t want to take me and it s killing me not being able to be with her (I apologize for this being one long run on sentence) |

But they have been that way for like 2 years and even though they kinda had something for the first year, they supposedly no longer see each other that way, he even has dated someone for a few months, so ovbiously he didn't hang out anymore but when he broke up he started hanging out again |

To be fair, it is the other girl who invites them and doesnt invite me because we arent really friends. It isnt that we dont like eachother, we just know eachother! Ive tried to become friends with her but we just dont seem to click you know? Anyways, i see all these pictures of them hanging out over the weekends and im left all alone at home because everyone is busy without me. Would it me intrusive for me to tell them that it upsets me? Thats the advice im given but i feel like its not really my place. Like i cant force someone to invite me right? Idk im just starting to feel like i have 0 friends and its making me very stressed and depressed (im a 17 year old girl btw) |

Like one of my friends last night got kicked out of Walmart at 2am, then went over to another friends house then they snuck out around 3:30/4:00am. I hang out with them and everything but I'm not bad. I'm a goodie goodie or whatever. My mom and dad always tell me to not get pulled in with them, to focus on my grades and to respect authorities. But none of that is working out for me.. My friends are out having fun, getting risky, and living up their teenage lives. I'm at home playing games and left out. My mom and dad always tell me that if I want a car (I'm almost 16) I have to keep respecting authorities and keep doing good in school. But it's not even fair bc my friends are out living up their lives and they still get a car and everything when they don't respect anyone. I respect my parents and I do what's asked of me and I get nothing. I kind of want to change and start hanging out with them, because right now my life's not getting anywhere when there lives are and there even out having fun. Should I? |

A lot has happened over the years, the main thing is her becoming a single mom. Her kid is now 4, and I know she works really hard to provide for her kid. However, I feel like she's rude because she only calls me when she's doing things. She'll call me, start a conversation, and once it's my turn to talk, she cuts me off and says she'll call me back, which she never does. This has been going on for years...Maybe even before the baby was born. She'll even call me, while I'm on the phone, she'll start a conversation with someone in the background then say "Let me call you back" I have sent gifts to her and her child for years, can't get so much as a thank you card in return. But she's always on facebook liking and commenting on things, but can't return a simple call. There has even been times when I've sent her text messages, she won't respond, but will expect me to reply to her messages immediately. The thing I hate most is when she calls me for 30 seconds, then says she has to go. I understand she's a mom, but at this point I'm thinking it's an excuse, because the child is mostly at her parents house. How can I go about discussing this with her? Or should I just let go, without saying anything? |

Just now she got the messages and talked to him and he's very mad at me and my other friend. He said she's going to be really overprotective because of me and her freaking told her. Like a few months ago, my friend who's also friends with him, tried hitting him up with a girl and he was like "It better not be that charcoal, black girl on the bus" and he was talking about me, and my friend was telling him that it wasn't nice and that his own mother was black as well and should go tell her that, then he was all like "yeah, but my mother isn't that dark" Then last week, he tells my friends when I'm not there that I'm ugly on camera, and look a little bit better in person. Then he said that the problem was that I was just too dark. He doesn't know how that kills my self-esteem, mostly for the part that I've always been picked on for the color of my skin by many different guys. Then when I go to the place where he hangs out, he's making stares at me for no reason. Then one time he's staring at me, and he says "sorry, I wasn't staring at you" I've never even spoken to him before, and he doesn't even know me. |

We're very goofy when we're together and just have a great time being with each other. We've never gone away together anywhere as friends and when he told me that he wanted to take me somewhere, I was shocked by the invitation to go with him somewhere. He's a great kisser, but I don't know if I should go or not. He possibly could want something more, but I don't want to ask him now and then say that I don't want to go with him, but I don't know if I want to go with him period either.
