(Some of you might realise I'm the same person asking the similar earlier question) I was reading a website and it described different kinds of child abuse and a few things that i have experienced were listed: serious overprotectiveness, shoving/pushing/pulling, exposure to domestic violence, unusually severe punishment eg. Locking in bedroom, criticism, lack of intellectual stimulus eg. Missing many days of school, blaming. Is that really emotional abuse? My father called me b*tch, sl*t, tramp and cow a few times times because had a boyfriend at 15 (but I'm still a virgin) He took me out of school and I'm not going back for a month or more and I'm not allowed to speak to my (ex?) bf anymore at all, ever. I've witnessed domestic violence twice by him a few years ago, and he has shoved me a few times that I'd end up on the floor. He's a good dad and everything but does all of this build up to be abuse? And what do I do? Honestly, I don't want to live with him but I don't want to get him in trouble with the authorities. I want to be split up from him but I don't want my family to be split up either.. I would run away but that's not a smart move especially because I'm 15 and a girl.. Help? Thank you x

My husband works for a big company which is known to have workers "drinking the koolaid." One reason I fell for my husband in the first place was that he wasn't like that. He isn't like that constantly now, but there re days when he acts a little brainwashed and will be easy to go on the defense if anyone says anything remotely critical about the business (myself included). And that doesn't even mean saying means things. It makes me uncomfortable when someone is so devoted that they are prone to turning against a loved one. Its creepy. I support what he does. I definitely want him to be successful and happy, hence saying i support what he does. But moving up the corporate ladder shouldn't mean being judgmental about me and seeing me in a bad light compared to the company. When he drinks the koolaide it makes him more non constructively critical of me, compare me to others at his work, etc. It feels like I'm his enemy sometimes when I don't want to be. I don't think being successful should change a person, let alone in a negative way.

My strict parents are very invested into my education. How do I get them to sit down and talk about the right age that I could start dating (that they agree with)? So, in the quandam years the subject has come up, but it wasn't very serious and facetious. My parents said that I had to wait until I was OUT OF college before I could start but, my dad was joking (I think) and my mom was determined to say that her decision was already made. So now I am 14 years old (freshman) and I want a serious answer from BOTH of them. How do I ask them? When is the right time? Am I to young for a relationship even if it is not momentous?

I really need to get caught up in school before next week or i"ll fail the first semester,(I do online school) BUT.... NOTHING,MOTIVATES ME. NOTHING makes me want to do it. I understand I could fail highschool..does that motivate me?NOPE. I dont understanding how I can be put in my room for HOURS and do everything BUT my school... How do i just get myself to freaking do it?

I ve been working at a restoration shop for about two years now and have grown really close to my boss in a friend sort of way. We do everything including go to the movies and have movie nights (when the wife isn t around). But I recently decided that I want to love back to Ohio where all my and my wife s family is and I gave him notice of this yesterday. I told him I m leaving late April, so almost 3 months advanced notice, and since then he has been sluggish, quiet, and doesn t really want to talk about anything. What can I do to help him? I feel the same way, but I have something to look forward to by leaving (family), but he doesn t have any family and only a few friends who only really call him friend because of his cars. I feel horrible leaving, but I feel just as horrible not being with family and in a way, keeping my wife away from hers. Any advice? The grandma is the mom to the mother of my child. She's only 42 and I've had to see her quite often because she watches my daughter sometimes. Lets start with the fact that I m a 15 year old girl. So there is this man that is good friends with my family. I see him at family gatherings and parties and stuff. He has no wife or kids and we talked a few times because he was talking to my dad and I was next to him. So now, he added me on Facebook (keep in mind the man is in his early 30 s) well I accepted the friend request and he started texting me and I replied back and although he wasn t being inappropriate or anything, I didn t feel comfortable texting him. So Then I just stopped responding to his texts, the problem is that now he keeps texting me every single day saying "hi?" ,"how are you", "how you been" ,"how s it going? and he sends emojis and it s gotten so annoying. He doesn t get the hint that I don t want to speak to him.. Why does he keep texting me??? Idk what to do.

I'm 15 and I got a boyfriend and didn't tell him for two months, now he calls me *****, slut, cow, tramp etc (I'm a virgin!!!) and he shoved me loads of times and I ended up on the floor crying.. My girlfriends niece is a nightmare. She tells people she hates them and laughs in their face. She coughed on and sneezed into my face on purpose without any provocation whatsoever, in fact I try very hard to be nice to her, I never yell at her or hit her or tell her what to do or make fun of her at all. Now I'm lying in bed with a bad cold. She also hits me and other people when she feels like it. She's even kicked me and other guys in the gals on purpose and laughed about it. Is this normal behavior for a bratty 6 year old girl or is there something wrong with her? My girlfriend loves her to death and the only thing that I've really hammered down on my girlfriend was kicking in the balls, I told her there is not a chances in the deepest reaches of hell that that's ever not a big deal. Is this girl a normal brat? Or something worse?

Okay, so my dad has his close friend staying over our house and my dads close friend is planning to take a trip to Miami with me by ourselves. It feels very awkward when I'm around him because he's Brazilian and I don't speak much Portuguese. I feel it'll be very awkward once I go because he has family down there and I'm only 14. I've never had the desire to have children. I like children and I enjoy being an aunt but I do not want them full time. I'm pretty happy being the proud parent of a dog and having the financial and personal freedom to not be tied down. On that note does anyone else get tired of hearing about other peoples pregnancies/children? Does anyone else find it incredibly annoying when other peoples children behave badly ?

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years, I'm 19 and he's 20. I had no relationship with the ex-wife outside of her 6 year marriage to my brother and they had no kids. They divorced in 2009 and apparently she has died suddenly at 42 (alcohol related). So would it be uncomfortable for the family if I showed up? My brother is not going. I liked her but did not side with her in the divorce (she left my brother). What should I do? So I was walking home and this guy i know that is in my class (he never talks to me) tapped me on the back and grabbed my backpack and said that this guy with this haircut this kind of shirt this name etc likes me. I had no idea who the guy was but he said I should stay with him because he was walking down the sidewalk towards us but eventually he let go of my backpack and I just kept walking why do you think he did this? and he said the guy was wearing a red flannel and the next day after this happened he wore a red flannel???

I currently only work 40 hours every other week. My bills are perfectly fine as I drive a car that is 15 years old, I don't need to wear the most expensive clothes, and I am raising a child who has disabilities. However, people are nosy and many ask why I am only part time and what I do with myself all day long. Since I am young, divorced, and have a college degree, they think I should be working as hard as possible. A lot of people who are married have time to do laundry and things with their spouses. My child's homework takes hours and I am entirely on my own. I do not date. When I am not with her, I am at work. The cost of daycare for her after school alone would be the same cost of me going back to work full time. How do I deal with the judgement?
