Then in December he contacts me. Says he wants to get back together again and that he's "changed". And this was all because he received closure from his ex - he contacted her and they talked it out, and SHE has no intentions on getting back. Then he says he wants us to try a relationship again. I told him I'm not open to that as of yet and we need to patch things up, and he said he's willing to work things out. Things were working out okay, but then one thing haopened. Since November (after our breakup), I've been planning a trip to Japan to attend an event. His ex used to live in Japan and he told me he used to visit her. I told him about the trip not really thinking of it, and he's been giving me a lot of advice based on stuff he has done in the country. However last night, he brought up his last relationship twice - once, he randomly brought up the reason why he knows so much about Japan is because he used to visit his ex and had spent a total of 5 months there visiting her. And then the second time (which worries me more) to say that he would go to Japan with me to show me around however he cannot do it because visiting the country would "make him sad".
