Ive never ever loved someone as much as I do him and I cant see myself dating anyone else or my life withought him. In that case I do have some issues with how our relationship is. I am a very very overcaring person caring way too much sometimes and getting not enough or nothing back in return. I love my boyfriend so much that I put appreciation posts on social media just for myself and for others to see cuz why not. Not in any way proving anything about it just its for appreciation purposes. my boyfriend REFUSES to post anything on social media. his main excuse is that he doesn't use social media( which he hardly does tho) but it breaks my heart because I love showing my amazing bf to my friends and giving them an insight of our relationship a bit through appreciation posts/pictures. and he acts like its the most difficult thing to do and he refuses even though ive explained how much it hurts me and makes me sad that he wont even post 1 or two photos occasionally. It makes me feel like I put wayyyy more into the relationship than he does(which I do put more effort and love into this relationship) and lately I feel like whenever I explain my feelings about certain things towards him theres little excuses and then when we talk about my feelings and our issues, I end up sad and just feeling like nothing was accomplished. When she would see me she would smile, be a little bit enthusiastic, the friendly stuff. We hung out once, and I disn t do anything but maybe smile too much, that would let her know I wanted to date her. It wasn t a bad day either, we talked about life and other things. But the next day she was low-key rude to me, she wouldn t really talk to me, and she kind of avoided me. She went from smiling at me when she would see me and being quite friendly---to not smiling anymore, and for the most part, acting like I m not there a lot of the time. It's the idea of being unified with another person. It's the concept of two becoming one that freaks me out. My longest relationship lasted a year and my relationship history is sketchy at best. On average my relationships last 6 months and jump from one to another. I get excited about marriage at the beginning and rave about how a guy is my soulmate, but like 2 months later I freak out about it. I do have a rough history that might be contributing to my anxiety. I was molested by my cousin when I was a young teenager. I'd like to think I've gotten over it, it's been like 8 years, but sometimes I wonder if I'm still healing. I don't seem to have any issues committing to things outside of romantic relationships, though, so I'm not sure if it truly is a fear of commitment. Maybe it's just trust issues? |

But he was persistent and I liked him so I agreed. During our relationship we didn't hang out very much considering that we lived a ten minute walk from each other. He was always with his friends. When we were together however, it felt nice, comfortable, safe. I told him I wanted to see him more, and he got really panicky and we did see each other more for about two weeks. He always complained about how hard school was for him, and college is hard so I understood that he couldn't see me all the time. But it made me sad that he was always with his friends and complaining about homework. Valentines day he was completely apathetic and I did all of the talking (I didn't expect roses or any materials) but I was excited to see him and he just didn't say much back to me the whole night. I cried and told him how sad I was and he said he was sorry and blamed school. I broke up with him a week after. He was my first everything, I was not his. I think he just wanted someone to be there for him, when I had higher standards for my first boyfriend. Were my standards too high? I think about him every day and constantly question if I made a mistake or if I just miss the idea of him and being in a relationship. All advice is appreciated. |

She's a lot different than me. I'm a lot more laid back/go with the flow, while she's uptight and overthinks everything.she started exhibiting toxic traits recently. I broke up with my boyfriend about two months ago, she's been there for me whenever I need to talk or vent. Her and her bf were having issues too so I tried to be there for her until I started to see very manipulative and toxicbehavior that she was reflecting onto him. It started off with her going through her bf's phone without his permission. She caught my ex, her bf and their friend talking about her in a rude manner. She was livid and sent me photos of the chat. I felt weird as that was definitely an invasion of privacy. A week later, she started telling me stories about what my ex was saying to his friends about other girls. She pressured me into talking to him about it because she felt like he was 'not treating me with the best intentions" . My ex was so angry bc he felt she wants me to be as unhappy as she is and wants to jeopardize our relationship and friendship.Then she recorded a heated fight between her and her bf and showed me, saying he was being emotionally abusive when he definitely was not whatsoever, and I really sympathized with him and not her at all. How do I drop a toxic friend like that? |
