I have a good long time friend Lisa who recently got married. She introduced me to her new husband Sam, I became friends with Sam. Their house needed some repairs and Sam asked me if I could replace the cooktop, repair some of the plumbing leaks, and install new light fixtures. I did this one day when they were both at work. Sam paid me in cash and asked me not to say anything about it to Lisa as he wanted to surprise her. About a week later I was at a social meeting and Lisa was there. She was telling people how handy around the house her new husband was. She said he had taken a day off from work and replaced the cooktop, repaired some of the plumbing leaks, and installed new light fixtures. My first reaction was to say "Sam didn't do that, I did". But I had second thoughts and didn't say anything. If she wants people to think Sam is handy around the house, I don't think I should be the one to tell her that he isn't. Did I do the right thing by keeping my mouth shut?

We use to work together but I got promoted to a new department and we don't see each other as much past year. She is always kind to me asking how I'm doing and sticks up for me (I suffer from anxiety OCD and she says she's there if I need anything). She's not into me romantically she has a boyfriend but she said when I worried that we'll always be friends and said that we were friends and help each other, but I just feel like we barely talk and don't see her, we don't hang outside of work but I am terrified of her not being in my life. She has helped me through so many panic attack. If I want to say friends and show her how do I do that?

I don't want her in a bathing suit in front of and next to other men and putting her in a risk of physical and verbal harassment. I'm not sure there is a lifeguard ton watch that can prevent these things. She asked me to then come use the hot tub and or swimming pool with her but I don't feel comfortable being in a swim costume and in water in front of other people. Or is it not that bad and I should just go with her?

She can be mean and insensitive, and she clearly likes other friends more than me. She'll leave me and another girl out or straight up leave us to be with another friend who she likes a lot. She is also very awkward so it's hard to talk to her or be with her one on one, and she doesn't have other friends so I have to hang out with her. I don't want to confront her because I like all my other friends in the group. She will do small mean things or snap at me and another girl but never does it to other people. She makes me very angry and uncomfortable. Even if she changed these things I also just don't like her. She talks about dumb things and cannot handle being in a conversation well. Another friend and I have noticed all this together. I have other friends I can hang out with, but this is my main group that I'm closest with, except for that girl. Any suggestions?

I have a couple bugs: 1) My party will be private but people are still able to join and I can't figure out why. 2) My friend and I got removed from each other's friend list, and we can't send friend requests to each other; it says the request was sent but it never goes through. We have someone invite us both to a party just so we can play with each other. When we are in the same party, we can't hear each other through our mics but we can hear everyone else, and everyone else can hear us. It sucks and it's just her and I and the issue doesn't apply to anyone else. Please help

Before I entered secondary school I was normal and I had loads of friends. You might'v called me a big fish in a small pond. Then I lost my old friend when i was 13. I moved to secondary school in the city where I knew no one and everyone had their own group of friends. Btw both my primary and secondary schools are all boys schools. I was pretty depressed at first cause I don't play any sport making my social standing even worse. I have made friends in school but because I live nowhere near any of them and I'm kinda shy has created a situation where I rarely see anyone outside school. I have met my friends a few of times but it has always been on my initiative and they have never returned the invitation. I have different interests than most of my peers and this really annoys me. I like reading politics and history, things that I can't really have a conversation about with anyone. I'v basically never known any girls so I also don't see any prospects of me getting a girlfriend anytime soon. This fact has bothers me and sometimes consumes my mind. I'm six foot tall and like to think I'm better looking tall the average guy. I think if I just had even a small bit of exposure to girls I wouldn't fare that bad. I have this "best" friend.... Let's call her pannny, she is one of the rudest and most disrespectful girls I've ever met in my life. Because I'm a new student to the school she was the friend that I thought it be out there first so I hang out with her throughout the whole year. she is super manipulative and rude for example she will make you do everything for her and pretend that she's helping you and everything at school when she's not . I have an internship that while I am getting good experience it is very hard as people are rude and mean to me. I have done nothing wrong I get my stuff done on time and make any corrections by all deadlines. People ignore me, don't talk to me, are extremely rude to me if I make a mistake as compared to someone else . The people talk and treat the interns better then they do me. The interns don't even include me in anything or make any effort to talk to me and I've made efforts to be kind and talk to people. I feel something is wrong with me because why is this is the case? When I'm not at work, I can talk to people and they are friendly to me and I feel like I'm treated more normally think I got stuck with a really bad team here because people on other floors make efforts to talk to me too. I have 4. Weeks left and I don't know what to do. I'm so depressed and hurt and I've never quit anything in my life but in this situation is it a good idea?

Ok so I have never been the type of person to have the luxury to say hey let's take a vacation. In 2017 I was very fortunate to have been able to go to warped rewind at sea cruise to Cozumel and I took my mom. It took me a year to pay it off. And it's only just been me and my mom twin bro and sis. Anyway I do a lot of crafting and I needed a new computer with drawing capabilities and my friend sold me hers for 1,200 even it's on clearance for 900$ HP Spectre. So she is a girl who never had to worry about money She bought a mac laptop then saw the hp and thought it was better she bought it, then the new ipad and pen came out she decided she didn't like the laptop so she bought it. The new iPhone came out oh, no more Samsung cause the new phone is what's in. But of course don't forget the new I watch to go along with it after she had one already. So I told her I went on a cruise before so she wanted to go on one and I said I can't right now it's not inn my budget. But she begged and I said "let me see what I can do". I found an affordable one. Total everyone paid 857$. So she paid off most leaving 257$. It's 3 of us going she got a fibroid and now is no longer going. Even though it's 5 month from now. She is getting better but she is also afraid I will leave her behind and ditch her. So I've asked everyone I know and nobody wants to come. SO I told her that 257$ has to come out of my pocket since she refuses to pay for it. So I told her she should comp it from the computer. And she is doing so much better health wise she even told me cause it was only one fibroid and it was going away already. I understand her health problems comes first and I don't mind. But do you think I was in the right to ask her this? I mean she has done way worse to me and already has lost a lot of friends. Once I asked to let me give her the laptop payment just a few days later and she went absolutely psycho and insulted me but then played it off as if nothing happened. Am I right here?? BTW.. Just wanted your opinion as to what you think about this situation. My two best friends are currently not in good terms with a mutual friend of ours let's call her Betty. So they had recently gotten in an argument with Betty but just left it like that nothing resolved and their friendship is in a grey area right now they don't really talk although one of them does work together with Betty. One of my friends "Carolina" started getting suspicious that Betty was secretly going out with this other guy from work so she called my other friend "Lorna" to come to her job (they where working at the same time) so that they could secretly both wait for Betty to get out as she got out later and follow her to see if she was cheating. So they did they waited 2 hours till Betty got out then they followed her in the car and followed her to another location where Betty ended up meeting the guy from work. Now Betty has a reputation of cheating so it's not so surprising that she might have been doing that but my question is, have my two other friends gone too far following my other friend without them even being on speaking terms?
