I haven t really had friends yet until one pretty cool kid of the popular kid talked to me and found me cool so far and wanted to include me in their group. We hang out once and I had to puke in his bathroom because I was too drunk. I apologized several times and he said Im good. No after maybe on month he isn t really interested in me anymore and our friendship seem to pass by. Is there anything that I can do to be interesting again and that they want me in their friends group? It makes me so sad.. THis guy we met at gym and knew eachother and went out together for 4 months then were together for a month. He texted me all day, bough me very nice presents for my birthday and girlfriends day (800 dollar purse), took my to nice restaurants, made me soup when I was sick etc. He knew I was a virgin and waiting until marriage. I went on a trip and got back, weve interacted here and there at the gym, he's texted me a couple time saying he's happy about my new job and that things are going well and another time just a random exccuse to ask if i've been going to yoga on a Saturday but he hasn't mentioned the past at all or tried talking to me about it. When I ended it I said I was done with his attitude and he said there's no attitude but if you're done okay. Does this mean he just wasn't into me or was trying to get into my pants despite what me saying I was waiting until marriage?

Without him saying it. My friend never tells me he loves me (as a friend, not romantically). In fact, he never tells anybody he loves them, except family. How can I know if he loves me? He's prayed for me numerous times, he's bought birthday lunch for my mom and I, he's given me rides home from work many times, he's been overprotective of me in the past. How can I know if my friend loves me (platonically, not romantically)? One time, we were riding to take me home and I was cold, so he turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows so I'd be more comfortable. In regards to that last comment, we were sitting in my driveway at that point...I meant to say that and it was hot outside, which is why opening the windows would've made it warmer in the car. Because I can't tell if he loves me as a friend since he never says it. I have anxiety and I need reassurance.

I'm in 8th grade, I'm very bright and optimistic. For some reason I'm also very hyper... When I first got into 6th grade, I had a lot of friends. At some point I followed my best friend to her new friend group. Thinking I fit in as well. After she moved, in 7th grade, I thought I would continue to sit with our "friends". Turns out they didn't like me, and me and my now 2 friends were kicked out. Now in 8th grade there are no people who sit at our lunch table (the long straight ones). Only 4 kids (Me, my friends, and some other kid). That's not my concern, as a kid who can go from happy to depressed in 0.2 seconds because of words, I'm now lost. I lost one of my best friends this year, I don't know why. I hang out with his friend group sometimes but don't sit at there lucnh table. He came up to us today and asked where everyone at our table was. "You guys are pretty much rejects at this point" we both couldn't help but agree. I am not very socially outgoing and I always find myself drawn to the bigger crowd (but not the popular kids). My plan is to wait till highschool, but I'm afraid I'll lose the friends I have now like I did in 6th grade.I care way too much about everyone, but I realize they don't really care much about me. If in highschool, I want to start my own friend group once again, but I realize I'll probably be drawn towards the bigger crowd cause thats where my ex bestfriends friends are going to be. So I have a friend who only and always talks about herself. She is very materialistic and talks about all her holidays on a daily basis, she will literally take her phone out and show me all the "fun things she does" she literally shows me irrelevant things that I don't even care about like her whole family tree and how close she is to them like I don't care. She acts like she's the only person that has a loving family and says there is no one like her family. Whenever I talk to her about myself she will change the subject on to herself and will interrupt and when she finally ask something about me she won't even let me answer she will just quickly move on. She is one of my good friends and I love her but i feel drained when I'm with her. Sometimes when she goes a day without talking that much about her holidays we have a laugh but that's rare. I am not jelous at all because I do all them things but I don't have the need to talk about it. I feel like she try's to give the impression that she is perfect and better which she actually says all the time. She is such a kind person but am I just supposed to carry on acting like it's olsy because I can not talk to her about it as she will turn defensive and I know she will cut me out as she is a narcissist so that's not even a option but I'm with her everyday at university so I.cant just avoid her😊. Let's say a woman gives a guy dating advice, gives him tips on where to look for work, tips on where to look for an apartment, invites him to her place, and says she wants to hangout. Should he take her word for it when she says she just wants to be friends? Or is there more there? I just have this weird feeling that she could want to date in the future once I find work. She told me about this vacant apartment in her building and what the monthly rent is.

Here's the situation: I've had a really good friend for a couple years now. Very loyal guy. Love em. But recently some unfortunate things have happened. We used to go to the same school but I left to try taking school online recently. He wasn't happy that I was leaving him there and he was rightfully angry. It wasn't too bad though. I woke up to a text from him one day saying he'd taken a bottle of cholesterol pills and went to school hoping he'd die there. I thought it was a joke at first until another friend told me he was serious later that day. I went to his house later and talked to him about it. He said he did it because he's sick of his abusive mother and wanted to end it as one final attempt to hurt her. Me and another friend were the only ones who knew this had happened. I had to tell someone who could do something. If he would've tried again and actually succeeded in killing himself, I'd feel guilty for the rest of my life. He told me not to tell his parents or anyone else because then his life would get a whole lot worse with his mother. I decided to get in contact with his brother that he's always talked about highly. I told him not to tell his mother. He of course did and it went exactly the way my friend hoped it wouldn't have. He hasn't spoken to me for a month now which sucks because we'd been good friends for years. He was always someone I could count on. Anyway I was just wondering if you guys think I did the right thing in that situation. Thanks boo I'm planning on showing up at his house today to talk to him. I found a suspicious account on my instagram. After I told a family member who is also a friend about it, she said she suspected my aunt. Later it was confirmed it was her. I blocked the account and ever since then she has been creating fake accounts over and over in order to follow me and view my instagram stories. Also, I found out that during a conversation where my relative/friend was there and I was not. my aunt expressed how she would not advise my mom to let me go to graduate school abroad because she knows me and is concerned for me. Not sure how she knows me seeing how she sees me once a year or less! note: when I messages the first account she followed me from. I said who is this? she did not respond. I have an exchange student and she is 16 and im 14. We fight sometimes a lot and I sometimes say mean things. Before she came I was scared all she would care about was her friends from school. so I went to this haunted house with a friend back in the first week of November. she knew about it, didn't order her ticket, I ordered her ticket, she'd said she'd pay me back. she still owe's me 7 dollars. she gave me 20 (out of the 27 for the ticket) but I had to ask her for it (on the day she SAID she would pay me back, but SHE never brought it up). it pisses me off because with everything we did up to this point I picked her up, I drive, she doesn't even give me gas money. it costed me 75 dollars (including a ticket for someone else, NOT the same girl.) i'm honestly fuming because now that I've hung out with her more I see how she wastes money and yet she won't fully pay me back. im in class with her right now and I feel like im either gonna scream or have to leave. We haven't fallen out and we all get in great all the time. But recently during our lunch breaks I've found myself isolating from them. I choose finishing work that doesn't need to be completed yet over spending time with people that care about me. Am I selfish for putting my college work over my friends? I know it's kind of a strange question. But at the beginning of the school year I met this guy and he was super cool and I wanted us to be good friends. But then I distanced myself from a bunch of people including him so we never really talk anymore. I don't want him to think I hate him. And now I've noticed during class he's been really upset. I really do want friends and I want a serious girlfriend sometime in my life but it seems as though people just don't like me. I try to be friendly to people but for whatever reason they just don't ever seem to be intersted in getting to know me or be close to me. Also the close friends I had growing up always found excuses to not be friends with me anymore and left my life too. Any advice on how I could make some close friends would be really appreciated.

Honestly, I'm really tired of this. I'm 16, and whenever I'm doing something I can hear people talking about me saying that I'm ugly and that my style sucks. I know I should'nt pay attention. But it really hurts my feelings and my self steem, Aside from it I don't have any friends and I'm not really social, and I sit alone during lunch in the bench. it's starting to make me sometimes low. Nobody really understands me, my mind is becoming a mess. My parents support me alot and they always tell me before I got to school to not listen to those stupid kids, because I'm beautiful. I love my parents so much, but do you guys have any advice, on how to feel better and deal with this people. Should I tell them to shut up or something?

We played a prank on our friend and got him to eat pot brownies and he ended up having a pretty bad reaction. He wasnt dying or anything he just started panicking and we couldnt get him to calm down so we called his sister (who we knew wouldn't tell). She got him to calm down and he's fine now but she started yelling at us that it was illegal and we could've killed him (even though we know that wasnt true). What does it mean when someone says to you I'm glad you let me be your friend?

Ok so.. I may be over reacting but is it normal for some of my friends to call me ugly? It feels wrong when they tell me that i'm ugly. I got together with my boyfriend i love so much after i broke up with my ex after he cheated on me i told my friend Sophia this and i really wasen't expecting her reaction. Quote on quote she said "What do guys see in you? I mean you're ugly" Honestly i didn't know how to respond. and in school my other friend came up to me just to say i was ugly which i responded with uh ok. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a'm i just over reacting?
