Question: Is he showing interest by doing this? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 05:51 PM PST he said it won't work out like 3 months ago but he constantly stares at me and looks at m. He also fidgets, plays with his hair, face, fixes his clothes. When i caught him looking he also smiled and said hi one day when we ran into eachother. Wouldn't he ignore me if he had no feelings and thought he wouldn't be together anymore? we were fighting and he insulted my moms dress/clothes and i insulted his moms. so when i texted him 2 months after he said it wouldn't work between us because of what i said. Then why is he staring so much and now smiling?

Question: She's moving away! Any advice??? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 03:55 PM PST I'm a dude and I have a good friend at work and she's a girl, we work everyday and she's makes my day. We been working together for 8 months but Deep down I like her but I haven't told her yet, she's so much fun and she has the best personality. But today she told me she's moving in February 9th to another country for work. I'm so happy for her but I feel super depressed because I won't see her again. She already bought a One Way ticket, and she's giving her 2 weeks on Monday. Can I get advice please???? I just feel depressed about all this !! She tells me she might chicken out since her family and friends are here. But she keeps saying she needs to be strong.

Question: How can I buy cheap friends or just hang out with anybody? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 02:53 PM PST I'm about to be a 25 year old female and I've given up on making female friends. I think some females my age either hate meeting new women or are too cliquey and dismiss certain women. Sure you guys may say "be yourself," but people hate who I am, hate my company, and some females showed it in immature ways even in college. I don't even like my own company because I'm doing too many boring stuff like watching reruns all day. I'm done because I've tried and failed at making close female friends for 2 years. I think I'm the problem and not them for a few reasons. It's the new year and I noticed that making new friends isn't a resolution anymore because it almost never works out in my favor. This is why I refuse to forgive myself for social related mistakes because the mistakes is what put me in this predicament in the first place.
Question: Why is my friend acting like this? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 02:39 PM PST She keeps on sending me texts asking about me but doesn't respond to my questions or just answers with one word. She used to be my best friend and I really care about her. Last week I invited her to the cinema and she accepted but cancelled last minute. She doesn't respond to any of my messages unless I send her pictures of myself. She made a brief post on SC that she's happy she made new friends. I'm really happy for her but if that's the case why is she acting this way? I don't quite understand her at the moment and I'm not sure what to think. Why is she acting like this? Is she crushing on me or something? This situation is really awkward. She cancelled last minute after finding out I'm inviting a couple of guys over.
Question: I can't stop thinking about my friend's feet! Help!? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 02:16 PM PST We're both boys, but I swear I'm straight. I love his feet, so much that when we're hanging out together, I have a strong desire to just tell him that I want him to give me a footjob. I want to be his foot slave for life, so bad. I've had this obsession for years, and we're best friends. Help! Please.

Question: Wish my friend wanted do things age appropriate? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:51 PM PST We are middle aged women and my friend tends to like to go places(bars clubs). Some are places or children age others are place where the crowd might be our age, where she might me a local P Diddy or JayZ type of guy. I don't like places like that. She particular wants me to join her for her bday at a neighborhood club(Detroit). I don't like neighborhood clubs because anything happens fighting, gunfire or being robbed to or from our car and the clubs. Heck Ive always encouraged my 25yrs old son to go to places in the hood. Also I dont like paying $10/$15 being frisked by security all to have be bored where people are just standing around drinking and looking for a match up. Ive been over that nearly 20yrs. She also likes to get a late start 10/11pm a time that I tend to head home 10/11pm. She always partakes in places I invite her to. Not to toot my own but I do fun things and people love the things I choose. i was thinking of making an excuse and taking her to dinner. Do you think I'm being uncompromising. Thank you "anonymous". Weve (me and other friends), have expressed this for years.I grew out of that phase. I leave the clubbing to my son heck she even clubs with her daughter. Fine if thats her things but after several years she'd get that Im not into that anymore Well, "WeAreExperiencingSomeProblems". I do a whole lot more fun things then that. Pole dancing class, latin dance and ballroom dancing, travel, plays, concerts, comedy shows etc.
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:37 PM PST My best friend and I have been friends since 7th grade (12 years old) now we're in 11th grade (16 years old). She is in my first hour and we walk to second hour together. We go to each other's houses for birthdays and other things. Should I be worried?
Question: Really don’t know what to do? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:29 PM PST So this will probably be a bit of a rant but if you don't wanna read this then leave. Btw I'm 13 and I'm a girl. So basically I hate school so much. I only have 2 friends and they always leave me out and there's just so many things they do which makes me hate them but I stay friends with them because I don't want to be alone at school. I really want to be homeschooled but my parents are divorced and my mum doesn't earn a lot of money and she works so it isn't really possible although I really want to. I have a couple of friends that live very close to me but I just feel like I'm always the second choice, and I'm always the one making plans and they pretty much always turn them down. My mum thinks I have Autism which I don't (even the doctors said I don't). She tried making me go to councilling which I absolutely hated but she forced me to go. I basically just hate everything in life and I don't know what to do anymore. I think about killing myself sometimes.
Question: Sending friend in Portugal gift, need help? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:26 PM PST I have a friend over in Portugal and want to mail her a 'piece' of the USA. What's something I could send to her that wouldn't be too cheesy or something she can get over there? (Also that I can get on amazon so shipping is cheaper than a post office)
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:26 PM PST My guy best friend asked me to hang with him. We aren't attracted to eachother because we like other people, we are just best friends. My mom however is really overprotective, she only lets me hang out in safe places and with people she's met, my dad however is more understandable. But telling my dad that I want to hang with a guy is well... anyways how can I tell my mom if I can hang out with a guy? She lets me hang out with my girl best friends if she knows and has met them, and let's me hang out in a safe place. But how can I ask my mom to hang out with my guy best friend without her freaking out thinking I have a secret relationship and being worried??
Question: I'm afraid that someone that I yelled at is going to commit suicide? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 12:56 PM PST So long story short, there was this guy who I was very close with, but I found out that he was lying to me about almost everything in our friendship, he treats his other friends and me very poorly, he has made twitter and instagram accounts impersonating my best friend, he invaded my privacy by reading personal text messages, etc. Because of all of this, me and my best friend told him on thursday that we could no longer be friends anymore and we kind of yelled at him for just being a toxic person. He went to his car afterwards and started crying. We later found out that his "girlfriend" didn't even exist and that he was faking texts with her and making up stories for attention. On Friday, we didn't talk to him at all, but he seemed super down. Today when I checked his Instagram and Twitter accounts, both of which he used to love and be very active on, he had deleted them. Me and my best friend were also his only friends and now that we cut him off, he doesn't have very many people in his life besides his family. I'm afraid that he is going to hurt himself, but I also can't risk talking to him about it, because every time I go back to him I end up feeling bad and being friends with him again, and when we were friends he brought so much drama and sadness to my life. What should I do??

Question: Do you feel sorry for this person? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 11:39 AM PST J.B.: One day he went to the mall with a buddy of his he saw a classmate (Marissa) from school with her family and Marissa introduces J.B. to her parents, unfortunately both of Marissa's parents were put off by J.B.'s appearance and him looking like a poor boy to where they both tell Marissa that they need to get going so they could be rid of J.B., they also tell Marissa that he's never gonna amount to anything in life once they leave. While Marissa is a nice girl but her parents are snobby, judgmental and looks down on the poor people. Admittedly in the previous years J.B. was a juvenile delinquent who broke into people's homes, stole various items and also sold pills and crack cocaine, (something Marissa's parents weren't aware of). Since he went to the Scared Straight program he has turned his life around and made positive changes out of life, J.B. also no longer hangs out with the people he'd gotten in trouble with and wants to hang out with the good types of people. In the previous years J.B. would've easily cussed out Marissa's parents for their behavior but now he would just shrug it off, he later told his parents (who he now has a better relationship with) about what happened and they were sympathetic towards him.
Question: Would someone be a fake friend if all they do is call me to just ask for rides? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 11:35 AM PST All this guy I met does is just call me to ask me to pick him up from work and take him home or to his friends house, but never asks to hang out and has not given me gas money. Also I gave him $40.00 to sign up for a gym membership because he didn't have his wallet with him and he never paid me back. Since then I haven't answered calls from him or done him any favors.
Question: Is he faithful or a good liar? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 11:33 AM PST yesyerday i couldnt help but notice on my husbands chat app an unsaved # ..we were in the car going out and his chat app rang and he told me who and said hes not in the mood and he put his phone in his pocket...he said it was a guy friend of his ...but i noticed an unsaved number in the chat log. all of a sudden he wants to fill up gas even though the car was full..he said no it can use another $5 worth. so he gets out and i noticed him flippin thru his phone or doing something on it while waiting for gas to fill. so i take.his fone and i dont find the unsaved # ..its gone . i did find his friend who msged him and he did indeed msg him at that time...was the unsaved # his friend and he saved it while getting gas or is it someone he deleted while getting gas...idk...i even confronted him str8 up and he swore there was no # and has no idea what im talking about. i feel crazy but then again hes not gonna admit if theres something. i usually do trust him but somwtimes i have trust issues because of an incident 2 yrs back a girl who pretended to be my friend was just interested in him and he was gona fall for it...he would chat with her and delete chats and i found out thru him BY mistake (he did NOT confess, it was a mistake) cause there was a pic of her on his phone he forgot to delete. he confessed it was a 2 week thing only and never saw her in person and that he wanted to... honestly once you are lied to its just hard to not be skeptical .
Question: My guy friends talk ask for sex? Men only? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 11:15 AM PST I am a lesbian and yes I have been with one guy in the past but I am extremely happy in my relationship with a girl. I am a tomboy and have had some close friends that are men but one last night asked bluntly if he can have sex with me and my girlfriend. Ugh! My other friend also asked would you ever have a threesome and we spend a lot of time together he is a nice guy. However, I don't want it to go a different path. I'm having a hard time being friends with guys and I am a tomboy I have no idea what they see in me. What do you think?

Posted: 06 Jan 2018 10:42 AM PST Apon arriving we noticed the house was gross. Moldy food all over they wouldn't clean up after them self's and were stealing our money. My boyfriend and I agreed we needed to leave in the process some feeling we're uncovered when his best friend told me my boyfriend can't think for himself along with some other things. So I told my boyfriend what he said. I thought it was the right thing to do? So that ended their friendship. Now we are living with other friends and they are great at first. We all get along. then my boyfriend and I had our issues and he moved out leaving me with his friends I had only meet two month prior. once he was gone they didn't want me there any more and started giving me the cold shoulder. (but would never say any problems they had with me to my face) so I stayed in my room. only came out to use the restroom or eat. apparently that made me even worse to live with. yesterday my roommate flipped and she assumed I had clogged the toilet. (Wich wasn't the case. The pipes had burst) when this happened my roommate demanded I leave and she didn't want me there.so I called my boyfriend and explained. He called his best friend who said the pipes isn't why they wanted me out but instead it was because the dog managed to get in my room and eat a chocolate bar. (Even though I wasn't home and my door was locked).now they are kicking me out and my boyfriend is losing yet another friend. Is it my fault? I don't want him to lose his friend so I agreed to leave.
Question: Is this a genuine friend? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 10:37 AM PST Is a person a friend if they do not invite you to their birthday parties ever? This is like 4 years in a row now. Also if they don't reveal anything personal about themselves to you such as their hobbies, life goals etc.?
Question: Why do my friends always call me by name instead of "bro" or "fam"? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 09:59 AM PST In my group of friends, everyone addresses me by my name and not by my nickname or any nickname. But with other people, they don't feel the need to call them by their name. For example: *to someone other than me* "Can you do something for me, bro?"" *to me* "Can you please do this for me, Joshua? If you can't it's okay." It's like I'm someone a lot older than me. Make a me feel old lol.
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 08:53 AM PST Tonight I am hosting a sleepover with two of my friends. One of my friends doesn't want a certain person feeling left out, so she wants to invite that person to my house. The problem is, I don't feel comfortable around that other person. How should I respond to tell her that it's not ok? Or should I just go with it?
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 08:08 AM PST There was this girl I met my first semester of my freshmen year in college and we became friends and we hung out a lot. One day me and her just completely stopped talking to each other after I got upset with her for the rest of the semester in like late October. I just found out that she called me yesterday two times at 3:00 am .. I just think it's Strange that she's calling me after being so silent for so long. I didn't even get a happy New Years message from her or anything. Should I call her back or text her?
Question: How can I make up with my friend? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 05:48 AM PST My best friend and I are both in our junior year and have friends since we were babies. Me and one of my other friends have been dating since the start of the school year and since then my best friend and I have been growing more distant. I want to get him back. Btw under no circumstances will I beak up with my gf
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 05:11 AM PST I'm from Jordan, my dear father passed away in 2011 and left me 22 JODs which is almost 31020 dollars, anyway I can't stop feeling unbelievably regretful and bad about how I spent them, my mom tells me that education is the most important thing so when I turned 18 in 2013 I regestered in a costy university because it's supposed to be the best in my country (and ifcourse ot isn't that great) all universities in Jordan aren't so great.... I wasted more than 15,000 JODs (21,150 dollars) on it if not more and I'm not even done yet I still have 2 semesters to finish... I think I could have really invested the money in a better way, don't you think? Now that my young sisters and brother are turning 18 soon, I don't want them to make the same mistake How could I have invested them? How can they invest them? How can I search for good scholarships in universities that are very good in the world? It's been one of my biggest dreams to travel, I've never been out of Jordan I wish I could go to the U.S or Europe or Japan But maybe it's too late for me now I just want my sinlings to do better than I did
Question: Is this a missed opportunity? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 04:00 AM PST When talking to a girl, we would be holding eye contact and smiling at each other. When I mistakenly thought a hunting thong was a thong thong she said "you're funny, sometimes." We then spoke about her modelling, acting, music etc. When she was reading my story, she would then flip her hair from one side of her face over the top and down to the other side, so her face nearest me was exposed. During our chats, she was maintaining eye contact, for the most part - In fact, almost always - and in which she didn't look around the room at something else, and all the time she had a smiling face and seemed to always want to joke and laugh and get me to join in. We then got onto movies and she said I should treat myself to go see Disaster Artist at the movies because I would enjoy it. I am now wondering whether she wanted me to ask to go with her?
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 03:03 AM PST Lost mine at 15 and never got caught cause I was smart about it lol
Question: Why exactly do some people continually pull you back in after pushing you away? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 02:28 AM PST It's a constant back and forth. In fact, I've never had anyone else treat me like this before. This girl I work with and I used to have a really great energy and interacted well. But we never talked about anything important and she never really cared about me. She would always say "you know I love you girl". Another day, she'd act like she didn't know me or care about me at all. She'd walk right by me and leave without saying bye. Sometimes I'd say hey, anticipating some conversation, but she'd reply quickly without any contact while running off. I don't know why I keep coming back...Just a few days ago, she was back to acting like we were great friends and I was cold in return. I was short with her and when she tried saying something to me, I said flatly "what". She laughed and innocently said she was trying to say "hi". She started saying to someone nearby "I love that girl so much" but I was already walking off, not amused.... The next day, she was still trying to talk to me....and I went along with it. We laughed a bit. She left. Today, the same thing as before...she passed by me without saying anything or even acknowledging me. A few minutes later, I rounded a corner -she was there- and I said her name. She walked away quickly and said "hey" without any eye contact. This irritates the hell out of me. I want to be friends with her. She obviously wouldn't even make a great friend. I keep foolishly coming back. Why is she like this with me?
Question: How cold are you, guys? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:33 AM PST
Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:07 AM PST self harm, there I said it. I suffer from severe social anxiety and I can't bare to step out of my comfort zone. I know my friends have seen my scars, and I don't think I care that much. I guess the thing I care about is that they haven't said anything. I don't know if its because they don't know what to say or its just awkward. and I guess that's the problem nobody has said anything. and its so irritating because its not like I want to be depressed, and I just wish people would know that. I'm sick of not having an appetite, missing out on stuff with friends, just listening to music all by myself. but like I said that's the problem isn't it. I'm the problem. I'm the one not eating, I'm the one ignoring my friends, I'm the one isolating myself. and all because I was waiting for someone to ask me one simple question... "Are you okay"... but no one did, even when I was at my worst. I bet I don't know the people readying this, and to be honest I don't even know if you care. I don't even know if I put a freaking question in this. but all I need is someone to give me some advise, and.. Hey.. mabey I will be okay. but we never know... I always knew I was depressed I guess, I still cant believe that I'm 14 and wasn't to kill myself
Question: My best friend is crazy, just read details please? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 01:06 AM PST Let me start about by saying my friend is 13. She's dated about fifty guys in her short 13 years and each time she dates a new one she gets clingy, spams them with messages and calls, gets plain annoying and after about a day talks about how she wants to marry them and is literally planning out their kids names. Why am I posting this on here? Because I'm sick of it, I'm the one who has to deal with when her "love of her life" "breaks her heart" every week. I think she has some sort of mental illness, and I don't know what to do. Advice is needed asap, because she's threatening her current boyfriend over the phone for not answering her within two minutes. Help
Question: My bestfriend is turning mean, how do I confront her about it? Posted: 06 Jan 2018 12:57 AM PST Me and my bestfriend have been going strong for 5 years now. I met her in fifth grade and we were both kinda weird, which is why we took a liking to each other. We've been inseparable since we became friends. We've moved an hour away from each other yet still manage to see each other every week. I love her but recently she's been getting more and more...rude. When we met in fifth grade, like I said, we were both weird. I was going into the early stages of my goth phase and she was a super holy rolly Christian girl. Now that five year have passed I have changed a lot, so has she. If she doesn't like what I'm wearing. She will make fun of it. If I come up with an idea that's a little stupid, she will make me feel like a complete moron. She's no longer a holy rolly Christian child anymore either. She's actually an aethiest now. She claims to be someone that says "be yourself and be confident in who you are!" But as soon as I wear platform shoes that make me feel good about myself she straight up bullies me about it. Ik this is long but this is where the questions come in. I'm homeschooled now and she's my only friend. No joke. I have 0 acquaintances and my severe social anxiety gets in the way of meeting new people. I really don't want to ruin our friendship. Yeah she can be rude but we've been friends forever. I just need to know how to confront her about it. I love her to bits but I'm just scared she'll take it the wrong way. Help!

Question: Why is my friend mean to me all of a sudden? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 11:51 PM PST I'm a freshman dating a senior guy. She's in the same grade as him. I'm 13 as well (I'm in Canada so we start a year early sometimes). Basically she's not okay with me dating him. I didn't do anything to her and they barely know each other! In fact I always thought SHE thought she was too cool for 8th grade drama. We became friends at the beginning of school when I couldn't find my new class. All my friends went to another high school so I was alone. Then I started dating one of the guys in her grade. This girl acted like it was really bad news and wasn't happy with me. In a few months she'll go to college anyways but meanwhile, I'm trying to find out what's her problem.
Question: Why was my friend not drinking? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 10:15 PM PST Me and my group of friends (all girls age 21) were partying and drinking a few months ago. Recently, however, one of my friends said they needed to talk to me about something serious. I said ok, and she slowly and quietly said, "Did you notice I wasn't drinking at the party a few months ago?" and I said no. She made it seem like that sentence explained everything, and I was clueless and didn't probe any further on the matter. She also didn't comment anything else about the "serious issue." Could the "something serious" be that she wasn't drinking because she was pregnant? Because I'm not sure what else this could imply that is serious. I need help to find out what might be wrong/troubling my friend, thank you!
Question: Not sure if I should keep being friends with my friend.? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 10:13 PM PST I've been friends with my "friend" since middle school. We are now in college and recently he cares nothing about anything except his new girlfriend. He ignores me and lies to me plus when I bring it up he makes up another lie to back it. He's admitted to lying to me but he keeps doing it. I've tried talking to him and that changes nothing. Lastly, he invited a lot of his other friends to go on vacation to Florida with him but didn't ask me. It's always causing me stress wondering if my friend is lying to me or not at the moment. I want to end the friendship but at the same time I don't. What should I do?

Question: Changing/improving a person in terms of personality (in a good way)? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 09:58 PM PST Basically.. We all know people that kind of bluff about stuff, although it isn't much but it still ticks you off? I don't wanna make this personal. So there is this girl that talks about her doing boxing and stuff. Cool ****..but she really doesn't know how to box, I'm a blackbelt In kyokushin and she seriously doesn't know foot work (basics).she tells me that she does boxing matches and ****..never invites me or any of her friends, never got recorded..how ami suppose to believe. And yes we are close.. She would've invited me but she has a match everytime she travels to another city..I told her I will travel and watch it once..later on she told me it was cancelled. What I'm trying to say is..she means well..she's a great person but this part of her is.. And plus I'm pretty sure we've all done this at least once in our lives..but not to this point. I classify people and categorize them.. From the dominant to the emotional and the list goes on. I wanna know a good way to help?.. Or I should say,fix this situation with her cuz I really love her. And no..being straight forward doesn't help..Its probably the worst thing. I can't do it and she probably would tell me that I don't trust her and believe her..it's a friendship killer. So If there is a professional psychological way to solve this please let me know.. Or give me some ideas, please say something that's a part of your experience with people like that..and don't just Google or suggest something dumb.. Thank you 🍃
Posted: 05 Jan 2018 08:17 PM PST He has anger issues, and he's been kicked out of a lot of schools so I thought that if I complained he could get kicked out. He's actually nice, but he's got some serious mood swings. Anyway, he was trying to keep the door shut because his friend and him were playing 'it', and I had to get somewhere so I opened it so he just pulled me up and did it. My friend only saw the slapping part so that's what she told the teacher, but Idk if I should tell them about the punches, because he might bully me in the future as well??

Question: Should I wish my friend a happy birthday, even though she didn't wish me? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 07:46 PM PST My birthday was one week ago and one of my close friends seemingly forgot or just chose not to say anything - I'm not angry, I understand people have other priorities than remembering my birthday or taking the time to talk to me. She also follows me on social media and probably noticed other people saying happy birthday as she's active pretty much every day. Her birthday is later this month and I'm already thinking about whether or not I should say anything. We haven't spoken for two weeks, though she's been talking to her other friends. I didn't want to message her about it and sound petty. What do you think? Should I wish her happy birthday in a couple weeks?

Question: Does my best friend like me back? She won’t ever admit it but are these signs of flirting? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 06:10 PM PST So I admitted to my best friend that I have a little crush on her, and it's very innocent. We are both straight girls but we'll even say that sometimes we do really act gay. We just have a really really close connection. But she said that she wasn't weirded out by it and that she was honored that I feel that way. She said if I was a guy we'd already be dating by now. She will cuddle with me and hug me and call me cute and perfect and she says she never does that with anyone else. She also giggles and will even tell me I never giggle with anyone else so we'll have to test it when I get a boyfriend to see if I'm gay for you. My feelings are real even though it's innocent bc I've never been attracted to girls except her but nothing in more than just a cuddling, always thinking of her and would kiss her kind of way. She'll even say "well get married" or that if I had a boyfriend right now she'd be a little jealous. We call eachother baby and pretty and we're just really close and we connect so much. But I kissed her last night twice and she didn't turn away or anything but I said you're not kissing me back and she said well you're the one kissing me and it was a peck and that's all I wanted but did she even want too? Everything has been normal and fine today and nothing has changed. Any advice?
Question: My best friend always calls me ugly and it really hurts what should I do? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 06:09 PM PST Ok so my best friend, I'll call her "snow"...so snow and I were talking about the boy in the school we would least likely date and she said a boy that we'll call..."bob". So bob(I don't wanna be mean) isn't exactly attractive at all. He is often bullied cuz everyone finds him ugly (I know, it's horrible) and snow said "u and bob literally look like twins" and all of my friends laughed and agreed....She was completely serious and she knows I'm insecure but she said that anyway...idk what to do...I went home and I layed on my bed and cried for 2 hours. And I know I'm not at all pretty...but I didn't think I was THAT ugly :( Please help! :'(
Question: My best friend keeps kicking me? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 06:09 PM PST My best friend of a few years keeps kicking me hard, usually in the stomach or chest. She takes martial arts and claims it s just a reflex, but she doesnt do it to anyone else. Ive asked her to stop dozens of times but it doesnt make a difference, and it s at school so I cant just avoid her. I know that if I confront her about it she ll guilt me into staying friends, and Im scared she might hurt me more. What should I do? Im sure shes telling the truth about not meaning to hurt me, but the fact remains that it does hurt, and one of the kicks to the stomach gave me issues for weeks afterwards. I just want to add that she's a good friend! She's the only person who will really talk to me, and I know that she has trouble making friends because she says whenever I'm not super talkative that everyone always leaves her. So I feel bad just...deciding to not hang out with her, because she gets upset even when I'm not emotive enough.
Question: Is it bad to throw away old items because they bring back bad memories? Posted: 05 Jan 2018 05:59 PM PST I just threw away two old Phiten necklaces I used to wear when I was 12-13 cause they were just sitting in my room. I'm 19 now, and they also don't fit either. I decided to throw them away cause every time I look at them, I just think of all the times I got bullied back in middle school and coming home and crying my eyes out on some days. They were just hanging up with my gold chain and I just didn't like the vibe it gave so after all these years I just decided to put them in the garbage. They were pretty pricy tho ($75 each) which is the only downfall of getting rid of them, but they don't fit either way.
