I've been dating my boyfriend for nearly four months now. We're both college students (me - 20, him - 22). A couple of years ago he was involved with this one girl who is his age, and I'm not sure whether they were only friends-with-benefits or if they were "casually dating," but they were definitely a "thing" (although not serious). Whenever she's around, he will look at her (sometimes multiple times) and will sometimes stare at her from across the room. His eyes just seem to "find" her.
