I am 16 going on 17 next month.. I have been driving with my parents for a year now... I have drove to school with my dad in the morning every day for the past 6 months and he still says "i need practice" Like im mad because its not like im going on the highway because i just want to drive to school on my last day which is 4.5 miles away! Any advice on how I can drive to school on Wednesday?

I came back home for summer break from college. I will be 23 soon. My mother has been insufferable since being home. The first night I went out I lost my keys, and she hasn't given me keys since. Also, she tries to make me get back home at 12 am. I do not understand the point of being home at 12 am or not giving me keys when I have been away at school for almost 4 years. At school, I will stay out until 2 am. She is also convinced I'm an alcoholic when I don't drink during the week. She has called me every name in the book, screams in my face constantly. I also found out that she started tracking my location on my iPhone. What is the point of this? My friends said this makes no sense and I agree. I don't get why she is being like this all of the sudden. Her fiance lives here and probably thinks I did something bad but I haven't.

I'm 19 and I still live with my mom and stepdad, 2 brothers. My mom made an appointment for me , her, and brother(17) to go on a diet to lose weight. We have to pay $250 for each person to start, this doctor we have been to him before last year and to be honest I lost a couple of pounds,but the diet consists of putting ear magnets onto your ear but the ear magnets don't really change anything, the doctor says it supposed to calm your hunger but it doesn't change anything.my brother he says he went to work with my stepdad to earn the money for me to go to the doctor but I honestly didn't ask him to and I told my mom beforehand that I didn't want to go the doctor because I want to do a different diet and not go with the same doctor. But my mom always likes to do what she thinks is best, she never listens to me, I tell her that I am not going to the appointment but she says she will force me to go. I told her that I don't want to waste money at a doctor office but she still says that she already made the appointment and that I have to go plus the doctor he doesn't charge a appointment price he only charges the diet price which is $250. Later my grandmother said something to her daughter indicating she had asked me. There was never an apology but I indicated to my grandmother that there was no need for them to bring it up or anything as I was fine (even though I was not). So now the 4th of July get together is likely no more as my grandmother died 3 years ago and her house was sold. However, at this time of the year I feel the emotions of that day. I live with my Mom so it is not like I am exposed to it much. I am close to him though even though my own parents divorced years ago and don't speak except rare occasions. I speak to him weekly myself. He is a really bad alcoholic and I am 22. He's been gradually worse and worse since getting remarried when I was 10 and he was always a heavy drinker. I absolutely love my boyfriend(2.5 years) but a week ago he told me his brother is having/wanting a kid (not sure if they are expecting or trying) and i admit im jealous.Im happy for them but at the same time jealous. I'm 17 years old about to enter my senior year of high school. My mom has constantly hounded me throughout my high school years and I'm absolutely sick and tired of her. It's as if I'm never good enough to please her. I have a 3.9 Gpa, I'm athletic and currently running track, I'm not out late on weekends doing drugs, drinking or having unprotected sex and I always follow her orders, so why won't she shut the **** up? For as long as I can remember my mom has compared my sister and I (physically). I don't want to go into the hurtful/rude things she says but basically she believes my sister is prettier than me and she says it indirectly everyday. It does bother me mainly bc it's my mom. I have finally saved up enough money after 5 years to get my kitchen remodeled. I got several bids. My problem is that the absolute best contractor to do the kitchen remodel in my area is my ex husband. We did not have any children and we are still on friendly terms. Besides being the best contractor he will do it for me for a lot less than the other bids I have for the job. My husband John is VERY jealous of having other men around me and especially my ex husband. He has never met my ex husband and has never seen a picture of him. They had not spoken in 4 years and now my aunt has terminal cancer and my Mom suddenly loves her again.

So my friend has a gf who I think likes me. She stares at me a lot and jokes a lot with me, but continue reading it gets better. The other day it was a party and her bf which is my friend was wearing a black shirt and so was I. I was seating down on a chair and she randomly comes and sits on my lap. Growing up, I grew up with a family of four (including myself). I lived with my mother, Dad, and sister, and we were a great family. Fast forward to last year, I met my boyfriend, Jacob and I was so happy. We have been together for quite some time now, and he moved in with me during our first few months of dating. But by this time my mother had divorced my Dad, so it was still only four of us. Before I graduated, we were talking about moving in with his family (a family of seven), a multi generation home. SO after graduation, I moved in with his family, they live in a house with 4 bedrooms, his parewnts room, his grandma Joy had her own room (because she is the owner of the house and that is only fair), his sister megan (oldest sister) has her own room (previously Jacob s room), and his Nana has the whole upstairs. Well his mom got us a camper from the 70s, it is infested with ants, beetles, and flying ants, knats, and flies. It is not in good shape at all, but I was thankful for the generous gift. Well, recently, I have been here for a little under a month, and I am going crazy. Ok, so I'm 14. I was born in Ireland, but I moved to the USA when I was 3. I really only remember being here in America. My parents just told me that we are moving back to Ireland until at least December. I'm freaking out. It's one thing to move to a different county or whatever, but I'm leaving my life behind in a new continent. Looking at my father and mother, knowing that i will never have the love they give to my sister pains me. I realized that i am jealous- and nothing can ever change that. I am jealous with the good grades she gets, i am jealous of the many friends she has, the opportunities that come her way, the power she has in making everyone see my wrongs, and i am jealous of the fact that she is the favorite of the entire family. I'm 19 Female and she's 18. We have been together for over 18 months and her mum still doesn't like me. I've never done anything to offend her and I'm never rude and I try to make conversations but she never does. I rarely go over because I feel uncomfortable but when I do she never says a word to me. She says it's because her daughters never home but that's because she works 5 days a week and gets home, has dinner then goes to bed and usually she stays at my house on weekends. I was raised by my grandparents and have always referred to them as my parents. Technically my grandfather was a "step"grandfather. My grandma was The one who got custody of me when I was a baby. Around 6-7 years old they devorced. He stayed in my life though. He had me almost every weekend growing up, he went to every performance, graduation, and stuff that a "dad" would normally attend. He referred to me as his daughter to EVERYONE. His family has always accepted me as one of them. ( their niece, their cousin, their grandchild, and exedra) I was even named after his mother. ( my middle name) as an adult I asked if he would be willing to adopt me and he gladly said yes. Unfortunately he passed away before we could do so. I'm a seventeen year old girl and my little brother, who is seven, was being bullied by these stupid kids in his class. I was coming to pick him up after school and saw these kids kicking and punching him so I ran in and I was so pissed I punched one of the kids then grabbed him by the shirt and yelled at him. Then they ran off and I just left with my brother. My older brother is autistic and at one school we used to go to people bullied him all the time ever since we were very little by hitting him and kicking him and even throwing rocks at him and all kinds of crap so I've had my fair share of fist fights. Because of all those years, I am incredibly protective of him and I guess when my little brother was born I just automatically became protective of him too. I don't know what came over me but I know that's why but still I punched a kid. Will this get legal? Can I go to jail for this? I'm not eighteen yet, so...?

So for the past three years, I have been mistreated and bullied. I first confronted my dad about this in 6th grade, however, he assured me that it was okay because it happens to everyone. Even though I found it logic to be extremely flawed, I continued through another year. The bullying and harassment began to progress and I asked to be homeschooled or online schooled. I live in a very rural, small town so the schools here are awful. The testing scores are tremendously below average and the teachers don't care about their jobs enough to actually put forth the effort to teach us. I thought this wouldn't be a problem, but of course my dad shot me down again telling me that I wouldn't have enough social time. I have three music lessons a week and do dance as well, so I thought that would be enough. I am now in the summer of 8th grade and about to head into high school, but the bullying is even worse and no matter what I do, it can't seemed to be stopped. I haven't told my mother about it, as I know she would get too involved and try to stop it from happening, which would make it even worse. I have although approached her about the online schooling idea and she was okay with it, my dad is the only one who was opposed. Do you find this fair? I have gone through three years of bullying and I think it would be best to not go back for four more years of it.

My dad just threatened to ground me from my computer until "he sees fit" for me to have it back. for missing out on ONE chore, unless i do the chore. the reason i didn't do it, which i've explained to them several times, is that no one helps me maintain my progress. i can't clean it AND KEEP IT CLEAN (the floor, the kitchen table) if no one picks up after themself. not even my dad who sits on his computer day in, day out, when he's not out with his friends. not my mom who sits in her bedroom all day, or annoys the hell outta me when she's out in the living room (like.. you've got no clue how annoying she is). Nor does my brother, who just stands in the kitchen and PRETENDS he's doing actual work when he's just waving a sponge in the general direction of the dishes. My dad and mom have been known for some rather ridiculous punishments for even smaller things. i was once grounded from january to june. My dad once slapped me on the SLIGHTEST SUSPICION i was lying to him, when i actually wasn't... in front of my friends... the situation i'm facing RIGHT NOW is pretty tame, but it's still a little too far, and it doesn't help my depression. what do i do? The table is ridiculously stacked high with garbage and random junk, as with the floor.. on average it usually takes me literally all day to even get it halfway done Jesus, if i even asked to see a therapist or a doctor about my depression, they would brush it off and say "you're a teenager, your emotions are like a roller coaster" and really, asking them to help, or asking how they would like it, would piss them off more than anything

Sooo my aunts family went on a vacation without me and I've always been very close and nice to their family. 2 months ago my mom gave birth to my stillborn baby sister and it was very hard on my entire family. She hasn't been the same since and she just started leaving the house more but i'm ready for her to return to her old self again. My dad kind of acts like nothing ever happened and is drunk all the time, and my older brother gets mad every time I bring it up so I don't know who else to talk to about this.

My dad got a text message & when he went to take a shower my mom asked if I can go see if he reply back to this person, then I went to google something but on the chromes on his phone and babymed.com came up for fertility/ovulating calendar, then when I type pregnancy another website came up for pregnancy and what to expect. My mom is definitely not pregnant, when I was taking care of my two younger sisters & something happened I said to her "please no more kids" she reply back with something like "are you crazy", before this a month again I saw my dad look at vitamins on amazon & he came across fertility pills but then I see he takes other pills for sex but I see it can also help for fertility, my grandfather said to help he luck out with 3 girls ( i know my dad is in like another world sometimes) but he didn't reposed back or anything. We barely go out we're home for months at a time, my mom lost her confidence & is trying to get in shape, she has anxiety & can't drive, my dad & mom are done with kids if anything my mom says I'll be the one having the boy or I'll have 5 kids, my mom takes care of my sick grandfather, younger sisters, 3 dogs, she has bone pain with popping/cracking, she thinks it's do to fact she breastfed for so long without taking anything & barely eating. She has a hernia, she 42, it doesn't make sense to look at a fertility calendar or stop by stop pregnancy, the websites for that just pops up but nothing else shows like he searched fertility/pregnancy

I'm 17, & i'm going away to college this year. I can't wait because, i'm going to live on campus. I'm really trying to get away from my mom. I can't stand her, she's a real *****. She's mean for no reason at all. This one time I forgot to put the clothes in the dryer she washed & she called me a dumb *****. It's not that serious, she's always trying to put me down. There was another time she told me to help her put up some stuff in the car before she take me to school. I ignore her and continue to do what I was doing in my room. I finally came outside & she had this evil look on her face. She said why didn't you come outside and help when I asked, now i'm going to be late for work? I told her to get away from me & she slaps me in the face, leaving a red mark. I started to cry and she grabs me and throws me in the car. She wasn't going to be late for work, she was just being an asshole. When I was at school I was happy to be there to get away from her. I'm just waiting to go to college now. She still gives me a hard time. What is her problem?

My Dad used to work with some lady for the same business 30 years ago and he met her again A month ago. He asked her to meet up again.(My parents are divorced btw) Anyways they've been getting too close for me and it's really cringe. For the past week she keeps coming over and staying for hours at night. Maybe like 4-6 everyday. She's getting attached way too quick and so does my dad. She wants me to meet her son but honestly I couldn't give a **** about him. My dads been telling me that we are going to all move in together where she lives and that's sounds ******* horrible. Ive expressed how dumb he sounds but he doesn't listen. I don't want this lady here everyday. I don't care about her son. I really don't want to move in with strangers. I want my dad to be happy but ***** sake he doesn't take in consideration about how I feel.

I don't have anything against anyone but I've got my own challenges I've gotta sort out with a therapist once I can afford one. But I turn 18 in September my extended family doesn't really **** with me anymore I'm an only child so primos were like siblings. I'm tired of telling myself I'm an *** hole monster. The relationship with my mom and I is honestly horrific. She is a religious lady, who is most likely bi-polar. My friends and their parents know my mom is religiously insane. My whole life, I couldn't talk about anything with her. She doesn't listen to me or hear me out unless it involves God, which I don't really talk about, because I'm not openly religious to an extent. I could never watch tv (she took away my netflix account a month ago because "it's pornographic our eyes shouldn't see it," I can't talk about my boyfriend without her talking about my virginity, I can't talk about my own college friends because they aren't catholic. She sheltered me hard my whole life, and I knew nothing, which led to bullying in high school, like she banned my brother from going to this high school because of the health class learns about sex. I could never have my laptop to myself, or she get's insulted, and she forces me to go to religious events by screaming at me. I had a really bad panic attack last summer because she forced me to go to this weird church activity. She thinks my anxiety is fake and can be healed with "essential oils." f I try talking to my mom about things but she get's up and leaves, or doesn't listen. She only talks to me to yell at me and talk about some religious article. She makes me want to hate my faith, and I don't want to hate my mom, it's just hard how I can only connect with other people's mom's vs my own. I need to cut this off I swear I am done. I am 20

Okay, so I just made a very unfortunate discovery. I just found out that my father, the man that raised me from birth, provided for me, and molded me into the person I am today, is not my biological father. I make YouTube videos, and just a minute ago I got a message from someone who has made several recent appearances in my life. My Mom knows him, and he knows her. He messaged me on my YouTube account and said there was something I needed to know that my mother isn't telling me. Though it isn't certain that's what he's wanting to tell me, it seems pretty damn close. Over the course of a year, recent mentions of this person have popped up. Every time me or my mother mention this guy's name, my father becomes angry. I've asked my mother if my father was my biological father, and she appeared to have teared up, ran into the bathroom and came out and said "Yes, he is". I've pieced together this puzzle, and I feel like I have my answer. However, I still love my father that I grew up with. My mother once got sentenced to 7 years for a **** up that she made, and my Dad was the only one there for me. I love him whether he is my biological father or not. However, I am still very traumatized by this, as I feel like I have been betrayed by the ones I've looked to for trust and reassurance. How can I deal with this? I'm only 16, and this **** just comes flying out of nowhere. What can I do? I honestly feel sick to my stomach right now.

I looked him up, he is her cousin but my age, just curious when looking up distant relatives. He is someone I've only met once so not close. His father died from alcoholism in 2003.

I live alone with my dad, and I just, feel so alone when he gets drunk almost every night. Is it wrong to feel like this? He's an adult. He can do what he want. So, I can't stop him... I've always been the black sheep in my family because I refused to put up with their favoritism and double standards bullshit, yet still come looking to me to tell me about their bullshit problems? I have not talked to them in years since they kicked me out. My little piece of garbage sister never had to pay rent because she has a big mouth, yet I had to? Say double standards much? So, knowing they kicked me out, why do they expect me to give a **** about their issues? I will never forgive them. They were never there for me all my life. I will take this to my grave.

I'm only 15 years old and I know I have (hopefully) a lot of time and life left, but sometimes I think about being old and just not being able to do things I can do now, and it just seems depressing. I mean it does scare me a little bit when I think about one day I'll be an adult and my parents won't be here, I'm just wondering if I should really feel this way? I have an Auntie who is 52 (I'm 24), never married, no kids and only worked a little in her 20's (has lived with my grandmother most of her life). When I didn't have a job she would put me down and talk about my cousins jobs (most are all drug addicts). Now I have a job and whenever I say anything about it to anyone she rolls her eyes and jumps in to change the subject. I got my license and went to get a loan for a car. The next week she went for a loan to get a car a lot like the one I wanted but she couldn't afford because she doesn't work. I went to Paris and Italy so she had to run out and book a holiday as well. I was told she talks behind my back saying she has more money in her bank than me. She will sit in front of me and talk about going to all these countries and gets other relatives to ignore me. Iv noticed other relatives are starting to treat me the same as her, even my mum. I try to have little contact with her as possible, but still have to deal with her occasionally. It does bother me though that I can't share anything positive with her or my other relatives and that she carries on like this. Is she a sociopath?, What is her problem?
